I love their oatmeal cookies, to the point they come to thought out of nowhere and drive 20 mins to pick one up. Food's always fresh, sandwiches always good. Staff always friendly.

My family loves everything here, from sweets to sandwiches. If we go too late, they run out of donuts (my son's favorite), but there are so many other choices that never disappoint

I enjoyed a really delicious Turkey sandwich. The meal came with chips, a pickle and a small sugar cookie. The vegetables were very fresh, i guess they buy from local farmers markets, i was told. My family also enjoyed their meals too. Everyone ordered different sandwiches and everyone enjoyed. Highly recommend if your in the mood for a healthy fresh sandwich! 🥑🥪

We walked all over Manhattan Beach to find a bakery with bagels and baked goods and this place didn't disappoint! I had a simple croissant which was light, buttery and delicious. A friend had the bagel and was delighted in its taste. Another had a danish with fruit and cream cheese that looked incredible! If you are in Manhattan beach, I would definitely find this hidden jewel.

I love, love, love this bakery. Todd is the best, and his entire staff is courteous, kind and friendly. I special ordered baseball cookies for snack after a Little League game. Perfect-that's what they were! Of course on pick-up, I couldn't resist some donuts, and a dozen oatmeal cookies. Yummy!!!

I've been coming to this bakery since I was 4 years old. The sugar cookies are the best I've had pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend any pastries you get here. I do miss the dinosaur cookies but the cookie monster cookies are a must! The flower sugar cookies are amaaaaaazing too. Please just try everything.

These heart cookies with the pink frosting were literally my lifeblood in the early 2000s as a young chimp running around the AMS Elementary School. I came back here for the first time in a minute this weekend, now a full grown orangutan, and can confirm these heart cookies with the pink frosting ($1.50) are still literal crack cocaine. I really don't even mess with frosting on cookies usually, but Becker's is just different. I paired an americano with my cookie, as they now have a Hi-Fi Espresso in here which I think slangs some of the best espresso around. It makes me feel like I'm in Europe idk how else to describe it. I almost bought a shirt, but I have SO many shirts already so I opted against it. However, when I was doing my due diligence for this review a sense of regret shot through my spine like it was an epidural when I saw Beckers has been around since 1942. I had NO idea that Beckers has been around since Joseph Stalin was the Time Magazine Person of the Year. Still so crazy he was Time's Person of the Year....... The business is still in the family after 3 generations (Shoutout to the OG Harry Becker for kicking it off), which really makes me want to go back and buy a shirt. I love places passed from generation to generation. No wonder these heart cookies with the pink frosting still taste exactly the same as they did when I was just a little chimp. Some free game for y'all, if you go to someone's party in Manhattan Beach and they don't have a box of Becker's cookies, they are a big fat phony..... ahaha I'm playin but actually OGs will always have a box of Beckers for a function. OMG she isn't wrong with the crisp edges and nearly raw center!! I'm seriously in heaven. The coffee on draft is yummy rich without being bitter. I'm happy I stopped by on my layover.

Every one of them is a masterpiece, bright, brilliant colors, tons of delicious frosting, and more than a little whimsy. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, complete with a image of an anime she likes and printed on the top of the cake. It looked flawless. I asked them to indulge themselves in terms of decorating the rest of the cake, and they did not disappoint. Bright, vibrant colors, clever designs, it was a masterpiece. The frosted cookies they have are a lot of fun too, and they are also delicious. Highly recommended. If you want something fun and colorful and delicious, Becker's Bakery is the place to go.

I loved the cinnamon bun from this bakery. They had lots of cookies, donuts, and pastries there. Also some bread, and cooled drinks.

Great location and good service. They seem to have a decent variety of cookies. But they need to reinvent their cookie options to compete in the present variety of choices available. If not, they risk losing their next generation of customers.

Becker's Bakery may not have the selection that some other bakeries in the area boast, but what they do, they do REALLY WELL. The cronuts are large, rich, and have an amazing flaky and moist texture. The donuts are yeasty, sweet, and light as air. I didn't get a chance to sample one of their many cupcakes, but the cookies were huge and chewy. In the area cronut wars, I thought Beckers was far superior to Torrance Bakery (though Torrance's cookies come out on top for me). All in all, a must stop if you are around the Manhattan Beach area and looking for a treat!

I used to say I'm not into cupcakes, but thanks to Yelp (with an expanding waistline to prove it), I am very much a cupcake fiend. If I find out about a place that is known for their cupcakes, I AM THERE. I actually found out AFTER-the-fact that this was a Cupcake Wars winner, and as much as I watch that show, I don't recall seeing them. When you walk into this small storefront, you are hit with a bizillion cupcakes staring you in the face, with about 20 different flavors to choose from. While we didn't get one of each, we came close. We did opt for the mini size (so we could justify the multitude of flavors we wanted), but I have to say, the ONLY ones I cared for.......and that had any appreciable flavor recognition to what their names were.....were the chocolate raspberry mousse, the tres leches spicy mango (my favorite), and the honey bourbon (all of which were under their "specialty" cupcakes). Honestly, everything else was just average. Nothing bad.......just average. They also sell macarons, but we didn't try any

Although the hours are inconvenient, I think their Wednesday deals (if they still have it) are worth checking out. My regular is the giant chocolate chip cookie and it’s always good, especially at half price.

Wonderful cookies and baked goods but the woman who runs it, owners daughter I believe, Is a curmudgeon. Every time I’ve gone she has been in a terrible mood and has been rude and short to customer after customer. It’s almost comical if it wasn’t so off putting. Cookies are great.

Service was friendly and speedy with the girl that took my order and money. Nice atmosphere & cool patrons. The girl that made my sandwich to go is where it all changes. She comes out, plops down the to go box and barks my name kinda like she'd rather be someplace else. Whatever, right? I go back to the MBO to watch volleyball while I eat. My Becker Special has the stingiest, scrawniest sliver of roast beef on it that I've ever seen! Shocker, right?! Bad energy = Equally bad sandwich. This is 2 stars if not for the first team member.

The most terrible coffee I’ve ever tried in my life! I just wasted my money! I’ll never come back and never recommend this place to my friends! Sandwich also was dry, cold and without any flavor ☹️☹️☹️ So disappointed

Upon entering I was greeted with a delicious scalloped edged butter cookie that melted in my mouth! So when I visited today I was so disappointed. Staff was nice but they had nothing to offer for sale....how sad. That wonderful place I remembered as a child had simply gone away....even though it was still a bakery, and still owned by the same family. Maybe nobody in Manhattan Beach knows what a good bakery is any more. And sorry to say, seriously, what I did purchase was awful.
