Peers coffee is a step-up from any chain coffee shop. Unlike Starbucks, baristas still pull their shots and generally know how to put decent foamed milk in espresso drinks. Staff at most locations are a little more passionate about coffee than your average starbuckian. Pastries are mostly done by Rockenwagner, And all 3 south bay locations have a strong staff.

Can't go wrong with Peet's coffee. Loved my latte. Thankfully it was not crowded when I went there. It is just marvelous to sit outside and enjoy the day.

Got a cold brew here. It was not as concreted as I wanted. The store has a nice seating area though!

Very busy on Sunday mornings, but service was reasonably quick and friendly.

If you're hitting this place, I recommend grabbing your drink and walking down to the pier. It's awesome to sit and watch the waves crash while you sip on a drink!

the dark roast coffee tasted like water, staff were kind enough to offer a 2nd cup for free but was exactly the same .. we all wake up in the morning hoping for a good cup of coffee to start the day, at these prices, it is not justified to sell a low quality coffee to people

I have been coming here for many years, never had any issues. I was saddened and disappointed especially since it was for a child. So I walked across to Starbucks, got my coffee and a cup of water for my son. Peet's just lost a loyal customer..

I ordered a pack of coffee bean, and the bristra let me waited for 5 mins doing something else while there are no other customer at the store. She only focusing on brewing new coffee. They also over charge me for the complementary coffee when its supposed to be free. They also didn't provide any good services, making sure I'm being taken care of within reasonable among of time. The pack of coffee bean ended up also not filled when I open it up at home. She is not the best and I will never return to this store.
