We had been eyeing this place for a while and finally dined there. Jacob, the owner is an absolute delight. He will welcome you and check in on you to make sure you are taken care of. The food is perfect. Try the coffee rubbed steak. I'll promise your palette will thank you. The oysters were fresh, and the salmon truly delicious. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to dine here. This restaurant is more intimate than I expected. Our server was very patient and friendly. I’m pregnant so I had to get the steak a little more cooked than I normally would like. They still made it very tender and juicy. Twice baked potato is delicious, creamy yet still got the potato texture. Seasonal veggies is broccolini which is one of my favorite. Very well-seasoned on everything. Dinning ambiance feels pretty casual, nice but not too formal.

This place is amazing! Every dish we had was so good and the service was great! We were there celebrating a birthday and they were so kind to put a candle in the dessert and even sing a bit! The owner stopped by the table as well. Highly recommend!

SLAY came highly recommended by a local friend. He did not lead us astray! I have NEVER written a restaurant review in my life but this experience warranted one. For starters, the atmosphere is lovely, the customer service was top notch…at every point of our evening. We felt listened to, every request was met and exceeded with a smile and we were attended to without being smothered. We began with the amazing rolls perfectly baked to perfection. Then shared the Bleu Cheese wedge salad. My friend is not a fan of bleu cheese so they brought us a deconstructed salad and allowed us to prepared it to our preferences. So sweet! Adding my praise to other reviews about the scallops! Cannot say enough about how delicious these were. They practically melted in our mouths. We also split the panko crusted filet with broccolini. Another slam dunk! Our waiter, Jose surprised us with an awesome slice of lemon blueberry cheesecake since we were celebrating our joint birthdays. We will be craving this place for a long time. Hope to visit again soon. Got a chance to personally thank David Slay on our way out. What a great guy!

A coworker recommended we try it because he's been there. We went with him for our first experience. Ordered the raw oysters and Tomahawk steak - medium rare. Oysters - divine. I forgot which oysters we got but, definitely delicious. Tomahawk steak - 1 of 1! Absolutely delicious. 10 ⭐️ to the chef! Medium rare done to perfection. Atmosphere was awesome, too. Servers up to the owner were friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

SLAY Steak and Fish House SLAYS!! From the ambience to the food, you are in for a treat!! I had the Salmon and substituted the side for the Succotash and the cheesecake for dessert! Chef Slay was there and came by and asked how everything was. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress took great care of us!

Great dining experience! Fantastic food, and excellent service. My wife had the spiced salmon and I had the steak parm special. Both were delicious. We also had the crispy greens and calamari appetizers. Both were delicious. Oh, and my martini was perfect. For dessert we had the banana cream pie with chocolate crust. It was heavenly!

I went to this restaurant for the first time in mid 2024 and the experience was amazing. Steaks are good and cooked perfectly according to your preference. A good selection of wine too. I came back to this place again last night and all the food are perfect as usual. Our server was amazing too. I hope to come back to this place again soon.

Wish I could give this place 10 Stars! I Had an amazing experience when I came to dine here for dinner from the moment I walked in the door. The food was delicious and hot, and they timed each portion of my meal perfectly. I had an amazing server but I also felt like I had 5 amazing servers as different people checked on me throughout the night from my server, to other servers, one of the chefs and even the General Manager stopped by for a conversation. Hospitality was crazy good and I can’t wait to visit again soon! Shout out to that team!

Slay in Manhattan Beach – A Delightful Experience Slay in Manhattan Beach delivered an excellent dining experience with great drinks, delicious food, and thoughtful service. We started with a spritz, a nice wine selection, and a Porto wine for dessert, all well-paired and enjoyable. For the appetizer, we ordered the smoked salmon pancakes, which originally came with two, but since we were a table of three, they kindly added a third—arranged like a Mickey Mouse, which was a fun and thoughtful touch! The service was attentive and accommodating. For the entrée, I had the sea bass, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor—savory and satisfying. Overall, the combination of great food, drinks, and hospitality made for a wonderful evening. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

Easter supper for the family we arrived early our booking was at 7pm we were seated at 6.22pm. Everyone who worked there was professional, courteous and beautifully pilot. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious we had calamari for appetizers cooked to perfection ❤️main course filet mignon with potatoes and sautéed spinach desserts was crumble berry and vanilla ice cream and that was my meal. My husband said it was worth every $$$👋🏾

Very delicious food, nice and friendly staff, nice entertainment. Everything is a little pricey, though. We tried their panko crusted filet of sole, pork chop, fish stew, and their squash blossom. Their were are delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place at least once.

I love this place. Excellent selection of food and it's all excellent. Full bar with good cocktails. Service is very good. Not inexpensive but worth the money
