5 star but change up the order taker . People are nice. But big guy at window he makes it all okay what a good talker and interactive employee . I feel like he is in charge but he may not be. Good for them for having good employees

I was traveling for work and arrived around 1 AM. I was so thankful to find food at that hour, because I was starving. The girls that took my order were so friendly and helpful especially for having to be at work at one in the morning.

The reason this place isn't like other bigger city fast food joints is because of ALMcAlpine. He has a great crew beneath him and it's a well run place.

Everything was AWESOME. Loved trying the WEDNESDAY MEAL. The Adams Family shake was great. It felt FUN.

I drove up this afternoon, with a hankering for a snack. I placed a mobile order, and drove to the drive-thru for service. When I got to the second window, I was greeted by a very cheerful, petite, early-twenties woman with dark skin, and long beautiful braids in her hair. She asked me with a playful voice/accent if I needed any sauces for my food. Then she told me she will be right back and “don’t tell anyone, okay?” I could hear her coworkers watching this all go down, and they are trying to hold it together and not laugh while the window was open. Confused, but amused, I tell her, “okay.” She comes back a few minutes later with my $4.49 snack deal, and says with the same playful accent, “here’s your food… don’t tell anyone, okay??” I finally get the game by now, and I reply with, “okay, I won’t. Your secret is safe with me. Thank you!!!” And she grins, and I move on. I am in full support of service workers having harmless fun at work as long as customers are being served appropriately. This is a stellar example of how one can have fun in the workplace while still getting the job done. 10/10 for the experience today. I had a blast playing make-believe with the person handing me my food today. Glad to see people having fun in life. Too many people take life too seriously.

This Burger King is there for you when you need it the most. And it honestly the best quality BK I’ve been to.

Wow, i cant believe there are those who give a good compliment, but give 3 or 4 stars! Why not give them the credit they deserve if you think they are good? And the negative reviews - wow. Ive been going here for quiet awhile. They are usually pretty friendly! They almost always go the extra mile to make sure I,m satisfied. Especially for breakfast. The place is very clean, and the atrium style interior IS just totally so retro mod DIVINE! Lots of light, its a great space. Keep the atrium! And whats best besides the burgers? When they have it - the fish is awesome! Even to smell those flame broiled burgers even before you eat one. The hash rounds are a million times BETTER then McDolalds hash brown! I,ll keep the 5 stars. But fill up my hash rounds like you used to do. At over $4 please do it like you used to. The tacos are awesome! I love those! The meat filling has a certain taste that for the price its incredible on the taste - and paired with those crunchy shells. I enjoy the tacos over and over. They don,t have the tacos any more - Please bring them back! The staff is pretty friendly - much better then most places

This always felt like a really special Burger King. Whenever I see the employees they always look like they are working hard, and I get the impression there is good leadership going on. I respect that, and the quality of their work really shows! The store itself feels clean and employees are always friendly. I've always been satisfied with the food!

Was pretty busy surprisingly as it was Friday at midnight. They were quick though, barely any wait. Got an impossible whopper, fries, large drink, and mozzarella stick for $13 something. Mozzarella sticks aren't the best (nor the worst), but they are only a few bucks so, you get what you pay for with them. Drive through is open pretty much 24/7, so it's one of the only places still open that I can grab food at after my shift ends. It's still fast food, but it's good for the price your paying.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, food is always great. The late night crew are fantastic people. One of the best BKs in the area.

Ruth Ann should be the Store Manager! She is the most professional, fast and accurate! Seth Rogan needs a raise !! He is awesome at getting customers to smile and laugh !! He can be quite enthusiastic, which alot of late night customers like !! I feel kindness should be practiced more upon employees as I have seen some be not pleasant to others. The evening female "shift supervisor" (I think) with dark hair and glasses about 5'4 tall and approx 25-30 years old can be rude to customers.

Frequented this BK for 10+ years and there’s nothing I could ask them to do better. The staff is always friendly even when you pull in to order lunch at breakfast hours, they always accommodate and take the extra time to make getting BK awesome, and I can’t recall a single time my order was wrong/unexpected. This place deserves a 10/10

Staff is super friendly every time I come in or drive through. Service is fast and accurate. Food is pretty good as far as Burger King food goes, and the place is kept clean. The property itself may need a few updates, but I don’t dine in so I hardly notice that. If you like Burger King food, then I strongly recommend this place!

I can't believe I'd never stopped here before this past Friday night. One of the only places open late after a show, we swung on over for a bite before our long drive back, and the staff was incredible. Lobby only open for delivery drivers but they allowed us to use the restroom quickly. The drive thru was absolutely slammed- but that didn't stop the guy taking orders from delivering the most enthusiastic and upbeat customer service I've ever received! You've truly got an amazing staff. The food was fresh, subpar quality for fast food indeed!! Thank you!

Pretty average Burger King, gets the job done. I do feel like every time I go, they are much friendlier in the Drive-Thru when compared to other fast food joints. Friendly customer service goes a long way with me that's why they get my occasional repeat business and a five star review.

Not bad. It's a burger king. Has a 24 Hour Drive Thru and the Lobby is open until midnight which is nice if you're a late eater. However, the service tends to be a little on the slower side (which I have found tends to be true of the 24 Hour Fast Food places in the area).

Very clean, especially the bathroom. Service was quick and pleasant. All sorts of different seating from hightops to booths. Food was standard fast food but it came out hot. No complaints really

I had the 3for3 value meal; double cheeseburger, fries, and a coke a cola for my choice of drink. It was great. The best meal I have had from Burger King since the time I worked at the St. John Street location while I was in Portland High School. Cheers!

We only go primarily through the drive through, but the workers and management at this location are the best! They are troopers who worked dutifully and carefully through the worst of the covid crisis. They work to help you with coupons even when the coupons sometimes fail. They are always friendly, smiling, and look genuinely glad to see you! I have never gotten sick after eating here, unlike a couple of other locations I tried. (Food poisoning from mayo on whoppers left under the lights way too long) Love our local Burger King!

Great food and one of the only fast food places that are still worth the money. The big bacon sandwich, I want to say the cowboy, but I am not sure. The meal was 11$ plenty of food and drink.

This Burger King is open 24 Hours a day. I love that! Breakfast is 4 AM to 10:30 AM (6 Hours) Lunch and Dinner is 10:30 AM - 4 AM (18 Hours)

This location has been the same for many many years. It's a little dirty and rundown, definitely needs a clean up. The management service is really good, but they need to train their employees a little bit better. The guy at the register was super nice but was not very knowledgeable about most things. Overall a very average Burger King experience.

Good food, but I have encountered many mistakes with the order taking and fulfilling. I have often not gotten things I've ordered, but when I go back they always make it right and then some with a smile on their face. I really appreciate that and that's why I continue to go back. Fast food places have a big turn over rate and we need to have patience with them; it's a much harder job than you think! I used to work at Taco Bell 😵‍💫🙄

A decent place with good coffee and food. The cashier's can make things more complicated than necessary. For example I asked for 2 double cheeseburgers and a coffee but for some reason the cashier thinking she was helping messed it all up and I got fries somehow which I don't eat. And paid an extra $2. One of the quicker Burger King's that we've been to via the drive-thru. The location is on the edge of a strip mall parking lot, so it is easy to find from the road and it has a very good drive-thru access. The drive-thru attendants are friendly and professional. We have not yet been inside this Burger King, so we can't comment on the dine-in service.

This place was gross. Floor behind the counter was nasty, the dinning area was dirty, the nice girl at the register didn't understand English and the fish sandwich was really bad. The big fish used to kick butt but this location it sucked butt.

I only really go to drive thrus past midnight, so this is my place to go after the forest ave McDonald's stopped having theirs open 24/7. Burger King food is serviceable but it's getting three stars pretty much only because it is open when I need it. gg king

Seriously gets worse every time I go. The only reason I continue to go besides proximity, Rodeo burgers are good. Staff usually isnt very pleasant except a few cashiers have been great. But hear da lot of cursing and negativity coming from the back, every time you go in. Doesnt give faith that my food is being taken care of properly. If you really have to do fast food. You can get a semi vegan meal here. Just ask for the impossible whopper with no mayonnaise. But beware it is cooked with all the same meat products as everything else. -Jacie Leopold

Okay, usually Burger King is much better. The order was correct, just the croissanwitches, burritos, and hash browns were both old and under cooked. So 3 stars.

If you like fast food, this place is better than McDonald's for the simple fact that the meat is flame-broiled, not fried in its own grease.

They always seem like they are in a hurry even though the driver thru... Not sure why I felt rushed but I opened the bag and it showed. The fries were all over the bag and the hamburger was smooched. I was very disappointed with the service but it's not that surprising it's just fast food! Normally they do have a good burger just not in that particular day.

UPDATE: Ordered a whopper with no mayo or ketchup. It came with mayo. That was at 11:58am. I had to go in to ask to have the sandwich remade. They finally got the right sandwich to me (without an apology or response) at 12:41pm. What customer service. ...or should I say, WHST customer service? Next time I'll just go make something myself. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I asked the guy at the drive through if I could use Samsung Pay. In response he let out a big sigh, and said, "Really? I hate it when customers pay by phone." Although rude, and the only thing the Manager had to say was, sorry... I've gotta say that they have gotten my order correct the last few times in a row, so that's a big plus.

I asked for fish sandwiches without lettuce and got lettuce. The oinion rings were overcooked so hard I couldn't eat several of them. They are one of the few places that doesn't give a veteran discount. This Burger King is on Forest Ave. in Portland, Me.

The late night crew is terrible... I ordered a whopper meal with cheese ... after two of the employees went outside for a cigarette while I waited for my order the third employee handed me my bag of food and said the drink would be 1 min. When the other two that were smoking finally went back inside another 5 min went by before I was informed that the soda machine shut down and was offered a bottle of water... at this point 25 minutes had gone by and I asked for a refund for my drink. It was given to me, so I left to finally open my food and the whopper was made without cheese. I'll never go there again. This wasn't the first bad experience but it was the last!

New crispy tacos. I can honestly say these are the worse tacos I have ever eaten. Soggy in the middle and hard as a rock on the outside. Taste like they were made 2 hours before I bought them. I expected they would be made to order, but more like nuked in the microwave. Waste of $6.48 and what I thought would be a good dinner. The goop in the middle is awful too, in fact I'm worried I might get sick. Will post back later if ill from the one I choked down.

When the cashier was done flirting with the previous customer, I placed my order and tried their mozzarella sticks and a whopper. I learned to avoid *anything* deep fried at BK based on my experiences with their onion rings, fries, and now the senseless waste of mozzarella.

Food was great, but the management behavior was disappointing. I placed a mobile order just after breakfast ended and pulled into the drive-thru. The staff clearly communicated that there was a mobile order for me and worked together to sort it out. When the wrong bag was handed to me, the employees immediately tried to correct it. Unfortunately, the manager reacted by publicly berating one of the employees and snapping at another — even though both staff members repeatedly stated they had communicated the order correctly. It was uncomfortable to witness, and the employee was visibly upset by the interaction. To be clear, the food itself was excellent — everything was made correctly and tasted great. But no employee deserves to be treated that way, especially in front of customers. Mistakes happen, and leadership should be calm and supportive, not demeaning. I hope management takes this seriously, because good employees are hard to find — and this location clearly has some who deserve better.

Regular late-night customer for some time. Seemed to have a good relationship with the crew that worked those hours. Aside from the quality of the food degrading. It was the final straw when I nearly crashed my car as biting into a one and half inch-long, half inch thick, lettuce stem.

It's been a very long time since I've frequented any Burger King. I got a vanilla shake that was nauseating. And horribly overpriced. The food was mediocre at best and also overpriced. I'm not going back to BK anytime soon. Probably ever. Eat local! Better value for the money!

My parents raised me right if I didn't have anything good to say then say Nothing.... ZIP mouth is shut BUT do to I bought 6 whoppers and they were raw I'm bringing awareness so no one else will get sick. Manager on duty did everything not to refund even cut open fresh burgers not the ones I brought back and tried to say does this look raw I told him to stop cutting fresh ones and look at the ones I brought back all RAW. The worst Burger King I have ever been to in my life. Burger King always used to be my choice of fast food, but this place was a real disappointment. I took a take out for whoopers, chicken sandwich and nuggets. All of them were so salty that my family couldn't eat any of them. I bought it using the coupons BK send via mail pamphlets, that's the only reason I could imagine for such a poor quality food.

Ordered through Uber eats order was substituted but no explanation of an extra charge for something that we didn’t get then when we called to speak with a manager he was extremely rude and unprofessional will never order through Uber eats or Burger King again. Late night crew needs to learn proper customer service.

Ordered last night a double bacon whopper, a whopper, and 2 large fries with 2 cokes. The burgers were nasty. Gave me and my girlfriend food poisoning the next day. The bacon was chewy didn't look cooked. Fries were extremely salty but decently good. She ate the whole burger and I only took 3-4 bites last night before I had to call it quits. 🤢🤢🤢

This place uses Uber Eats to clear out old food at night. I was surprised to get someplace to deliver at 10 pm. Now I know why. I ordered a large chicken sandwich meal with a Coke. I got a small whopper meal with a root beer. So not only didn't I get what I ordered, I was overcharged for what I did get. I believe this was intentional as I've heard friends with same complaint about this BK.

Terrible service every time we have been there! They always mess up our order! Twice when using the drive thru I have had to.go in to have our order fixed because it was wrong. Staff was rude and the store is dirty! I know it's just fast food so I dony expect alot but this place is really bad!

Normally i have a decent meal from here but today was a far cry from normal i had a crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings and a soda my mother had a hamburger with onion rings and a soda mine was COLD HER HAD NO TASTE the inion rings were LUKE WARM the only thing that they didn't screw up on was the soda. Thats PRETTY BAD. I had no one in front of me at the drive through except a car that was driving out but they held me at the payment window so they kept there check out time short. Now thats not me saying this it was the clerk at the payment window because i asked why i had to wait there when i had cars behind me...

I went in to dine in with family, the customer service is rude when you order, she was very disrespectful and made me rush even though there was no customer, the food we got is very noticeable old not fresh, you could tell from the chewy taste that suppose to be crispy, the food is cold and it should be hot and fresh! The atmosphere was clean, but the workers who took break to eat had people coming and they were so loud and noisy, very disappointed at this burger king! I would never come again here!

I have visited this location for years, mostly in the late evening or at night. My last dozen experiences have been terrible. Tonight there was a huge line and when I got my food I only received half my order and the half we received wasn’t properly cooked. If the line hadn’t been a 15 minute wait the first time through I would have asked for it to be fixed. Normally I would forgive this but this isn’t the first time this has happened. Someone really needs to look into replacing the overnight management with someone capable of performing the job.

I’ve been going to this Burger King once or twice a week for two years. I work in the area and would go there due to convenience. Avoid it! I’ll never go back due to the service I received going through there drive through last evening. The person who I’ve dealt with multiple times who took my order was not only rude and condescending but also argued with me on what was said while placing my order. Ive dealt with this guy in the drive through several times. He doesn’t listen when people order and he’s confrontational when he screws up your order. I’ve never been treated with such hostility like this at a fast food place. I’ve worked customer in service for years and would lose my job if I treated customers like this man treated me. Burger King Forrest ave in Portland you lost a regular customer.

I used to frequent this Burger King due to its proximity to my work and the weird hours I have. It being open 24/7 was nice as I never knew when my break would be. Their are a couple nice women who work here but man if you do not get one of them get ready for an argument. I would frequently use the coupon codes that burger king has on their web site. So i would give them the 4 digit code that the site provides and the nice ladies would punch it in and then complete the order but if you got the tall guy with long hair or the bigger guy that says the weirdest things than get ready for problems. I just avoid this place now as having to deal with a majority of their staff is just awkward, weird and frustrating.

Twice I've been here and the lobby was closed. Idon't live in the area so needed the rest room. Three times, including today the "shake machine is not working" so no ice cream cones. I was charged $3.99 for a large soda. LG price is not listed on the menu. You have to self serve your drinks so it's not like this exorbitant price is for service. Ihave given this place multiple opportunities. $4 for a drink has finally finished me.Will NEVER go this place again.
