It was near my accommodation, and I dropped by for a late lunch. The burger was absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy too, and seasoned just right.
I could not have asked for a more romantic night than a late night stroll through the Venice Canals to finish up at Beach and Brew. The food was excellent, and the hospitality was unparalleled. I would highly recommend this experience, especially to those who enjoy dining together in a comfortable and pet-friendly environment. They have self-service beer on tap that gets charged to your wrist band they give you. They all are priced by the ounce. It was definitely a uniquely fun experience.
We are visiting from out of town and have experienced a lot of brew pub experiences. This was pretty amazing. First off, the beer is pay as you pour and their selection of beer, ciders and wines was pretty great. The food was amazing... if you don't like beer go for the food! we ordered the yellow tail carpaccio, crispy rice tuna bites, the cheddar biscuits were so good. We also ordered the Beach and Brew roll and the Truffle Salmon roll. Every bite was so delicious! We went around 9pm and it was fairly quiet.
I'm convinced this place is an amazing sushi/food restaurant with an awesome bar/beer vending service on the front. Definitely come here. I went on a Thursday night. Service was fast, the food was AMAZING and healthy. The beer dispenser is so so so fun and I can't wait to come back for more tastings. There are also wine tastings.
Was visiting California for a work trip and stayed in Venice Beach for a couple nights with friends. We came to Beach & Brew first day of our holiday and two things are unbeatable. The STAFF and the happy hour!! Couldn’t talk any better about the staff, friendly, attentive and basically helped us figure out our weekend plans! We came back everyday for them! Happy hour prices are fantastic and what a cool experience to be able to pour your own beer/wine and cider. If you’re in Venice beach, definitely stop by!
My first time there this week, I lived my meal and the drinks. And the atmosphere was relaxed
I visited Beach and Brew on the perfect beach day. The front windows were open, allowing for the perfect breeze and inviting atmosphere. The greeters were very friendly, and gave me a few seating options. I chose a spot at the window. Service was prompt, and also friendly. They explained the beer wall and the FORTY options available. It was fun to use my wristband for each tap. I created my own mixed flight of hard seltzers and wine. They had a 2015 Robert Hall Cabernet Sauvignon on tap, which was excellent! For dinner, I had French fries, which were perfectly crisp, caramelized broccoli and the Pacific white fish. Everything was delicious. I asked for aioli, because I'm trying to avoid all the sugar in ketchup, and they gave me a flight of four sauces to choose from! Portions were perfect, and both the broccoli and fries were enough to share. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. I'd highly recommend Beach and Brew to anyone looking for beach bites and good service.
Food ok, service good, atmosphere good. It gets pretty loud, so not so good if you plan to hold a conversation; that's unless you enjoy yelling. Get the grilled tuna collar, it's worth it. Street parking could be a challenge. Certainly worth a try or two.
Beach and brew was definitely one of those spots where you want to come again because the atmosphere is refreshing and the food is delicious!! Great customer service. The avocado toast was surprisingly my favorite dish!! My friends and I judged the avocado toast because of all the seeds but it was soooooo good! The lemon zest it had really made it super refreshing. The pancakes were soooo good and fat!! I love the cinnamon butter that comes with it!! The shrimp and chorizo breakfast burrito was different but also very good. The breakfast sandwich and the potatoes were ok. Not the craziest in flavor but still okay. Can’t wait to be back for dinner and try the tap self service brew 🤩
Yes! what a perfect local spot for great beer and good food. I’m not even a beer person and this spot had a lot of great options. The food was delicious and the service is fast. Plus it’s bright, spacious and has TVs. Highly recommend
This is an amazing Thai fusion restaurant! Delicious food, the pork knuckle is back with a newly added sushi menu. Great attentive wait staff in a chill low key Venice environment. Just prefect for a date night meal, drinks and conversation!
Fun to try various beers, wine, cider- pour a sip, a flight or a pint! Excellent bar nosh and entrees. Great concept, they swipe your card, give you a wristband, and away you go.
5/5 Chicken & Waffles - perfect for a sweet and savory since the waffle was 50-50 juicy chicken & fruit 4/5 Breakfast burrito - it was good but it was a small portion and more potato than eggs
Definitely we’d to come here. They have screens with the game on and bracelets for self pours . Restrooms need a code but it’s on the menu. Plenty of tables to sit in. You can also sit outside or at the bar.

Love this spot it’s always surprisingly empty. Your wall is awesome with honestly a ton of great beers from California. Bartenders are nice. I think people don’t come in because they don’t totally get the vibe. Which is essentially a good spot to grab a drink or to grab food, with a lot of Japanese-American adjacent food options that are honestly not bad! But I mostly come for the beer wall. :)

We made it for happy hour and had a great experience. We ordered appetizer food off the happy hour menu. We also got bracelets for the half price beer pours. Everything was delicious!
This is a sports bar with ok food. The first time I ate here they had fresh ingredients, the second time - not so fresh. Dishes were well presented but lacked seasoning. Everything was drenched in sweet sauces - from the sweet sticky chicken wings to the balsamic reduction on the caprese salad. I also ordered the mezcal paloma and it either used a very poor mezcal or it had none because either way, I couldn’t taste it. There was just so much grapefruit juice that I could taste little else apart from the sweetness. They did make me a second one though when I asked for it but it wasn’t much better. The place is dog and baby friendly and the staff is very attentive- the only let down are the food/drinks.
This place has a great vibe with delicious food. I was quite impressed by the yellow tail collar bone, it was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor. The beer wall of taps was excellent and easy way of tasting & choosing my own beer with having to ask for drink each time. Just walk up & pour.

Met some friends for happy hour here and it was great. They have a really nice HH selection of drinks, though next time id skip the cocktail because it was very low on alcohol. The happy hour portions of food were laughably small, but I ordered the chicken teriyaki tacos off of the main menu and they were delicious and filling.
We had a fun time. The food was good although a little pricy. Some portions were small. The variety of beers available was great. Getting a wrist band and being able to sample many beers was fun.
Ummmm. Came here for hair of the dog and they didn’t even have their wall of beers open, which is their WHOLE SCHTICK. We asked when they would have it clean considering they were supposed to be open….AND STILL CLEANING and they made us feel so small for asking for the very thing they advertise! We sat for 40 mins and even had the avocado toast (amazing btw). The bartender acted as if we were burden to his big muscley arms by asking for more water bc our waiter was not attentive- not bad just I’ll informed of anything going on in the restaurant and not helpful. We expressed we weren’t happy and no one did anything to ensure we would come back. Even the owner came and apologized but again offered no incentive. Sad all around. But get toast if you do go. It’s great.
I recently visited and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience with the bartender. I ordered my meal and drink, and when it came time to tip, there was a mishap on my end with the credit card transaction. I initially tipped the bartender 20%, but due to a glitch, that tip didn’t go through as intended. When I tried to reprocess it, it only allowed a tiny tip amount of about 65 cents. I had already given the original 20% tip, but the bartender didn’t give me a chance to say anything or understand why it didn’t go through. He got visibly upset, made a rude comment about how bad the tip was, and walked away without listening. Even though I ended up giving him a $10 cash tip, his attitude was unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. It was an honest payment glitch on my part, and I would have appreciated a moment to clarify before being treated rudely. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

I’ll start with the good part, great beer, good concept. Ordered 6 oysters, it took the kitchen 45 minutes to get them ready. Out of 7 oysters, three were rotten, I did get compensation for it. I’ve decided to give another chance with a burger, 10 minutes and I’m waiting. Just want to get out of here
