Smiles everyone, smiles. Went thru the drive thru. Very fast and very kind, they said toward the end of ordering... "Anything Else?"... I said "yes a smile." She said, "no problem." When I got my cup of coffee... She had drawn a happy face smile on the lid. That made me smile and really made my day. Simple things matter and this young lady made my day by this simple gesture. Whoever you are, I hope they have you training new employees.. :-) 😊
The batistas are all friendly and nice and make delicious hot chocolate. I bring my developmentally disabled client here when he asks, and they all treat him like any other customer which isn't common when we go out. I'm super happy with their service.
Great Starbucks location. Friendly staff with great equipment. One of the few that had a Clover Brewing Machine that we stopped at. That area of town is a little hard to find parking but we got lucky. Worth a stop if your in the area.
If I could give more stars I would!! Best place in Marina for fast, friendly, & home-like customer service.. (ya know the good kind). These Baristas are the absolute best!! Top notch Coffee Crew!! They were closed for the better part of 2 months or more due to Covid-19. I had to drive to the next town to get my coffee fix.. just to get treated like crap☹☹.. But no more (thank goodness). I missed my Baristas and I know they genuinely missed me. I'm so happy they are gradually getting back to regular business hours 🤗☕🥯🌯🥚🥮🍩🍪🍰🥤☕🤗
I like this Starbucks quite a bit. It's not a large space, it's about the size of the Sand City store but larger than contract kiosks that you find in Safeway stores or Target. The manager Delia has assembled a nice crew. My only complaint is the parking. If the lot is full I park in the Burger King lot next door. Customers here are predominately locals. I cannot say I've ever noticed tourists types in the shop.
This is a starbucks. It is a Starbucks starbucks. If you know what a Starbucks is you're going to find it here. I found the employees to be very pleasant. The place was not too busy when we went in. We didn't have to wait too long and they had all the items we wanted. Which one you go after breakfast sometimes you can't get everything you want because it's all been bought out. Would definitely go to this one again!
Excellent, quick service. Dropped my food after food ordering and clerk immediately asked me if I wanted another one. Very professional and friendly service!
Love this place, we hit it up at least once a week. Really wish they would prop their door open, but their baristas are the sweetest around and 9.9 times outta 10 get your order done to perfection. Plus, if it's not, they're more than happy to fix it. Real gems work here!
The 2 gentleman who were working today 4/22 @ 4:45pm were very helpful and friendly. Made my coffee perfectly and really cared when I ordered just hot water for my sister who lost her voice. They both told her I hope you feel better. Great customer service.

Great place to get your coffee fix and hang out with a friend. Wifi connection is good and the staff is super friendly. The parking situation in the morning is absolutely terrible and I'm surprised Marina P.D. doesn't come around frequently to cite all the people parked in the red fire lane, illegally by the dumpsters, or illegally in the handicapped spots.
I had posted a review a long time ago that wasn't so good this location has actually improved they are now open at 4:30 and that's great!!!👍
Came in to do some work, nice and quiet, parking is horrible as described by others... The employees weren't as "friendly" as normal Starbucks ive been to, and I've been to many! Lol but the coffee was better tasting than others so there's really nothing I can complain about.. just throw in a smile baristas!

Great staff.. quick, efficient and friendly. I feel this store needs to address the loitering in the back parking lot. Guys hang around taking up all the limited parking spaces. I've had to leave multiple times at this Marina, CA location without being served, because of the frequent loitering in the back area of your parking lot.

When you walk in to this business, you know it is a Starbucks but the smell of the coffee and the signage. Why I only gave 4 stars: their service was a little slow, and their bathroom was not available to the public. Coffee can get things moving, and if it does--you need a place to go. Right?

They weren’t terribly busy but there was a good amount of people inside the store. Staff was polite but the service could be a little better. Parking wasn’t an issue so that was nice.

It’s a 50/50. Depending on who’s working. Lately they hired some new blonde girl who isn’t pleasant at all. Make less mistakes and do remember orders if you’re a regular. They also need to fix their phone.
It's always nice to have a Starbucks in your neighborhood. I recommend their sugar free, soy milk, vanilla late, for those who are trying to cut down on sugar and/or avoiding dairy products. Its has a rich taste without compromise.
Cashiers don’t know the ounce equivalents of tall, vente, and grande. I wanted a 12 oz drink and they insisted I choose tall, vente, grande, because they had no idea what 16 oz was. ???
Good place. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great customer service. Maybe turn the music up a bit, because I don't really care for discussions coming from the staff about shoot em up games. The latest gossip about co-workers, or other people I don't know. I do understand work folk are family folk, but maybe you don't need to talk across the store drowning out music. Please don't get me wrong...I do enjoy this store for the most part, and this is just my opinion. Starbucks and google want a review, here it is. Just like life its good and maybe we should think about it. One Love.
Good customer service but they make the drinks different sometimes. I order the same drink every time and I get it the same way every time but now I am told it's not made the way I have been getting it for years but every other Starbucks does it that way. Now just this store doesn't add whipped cream to my drink. I know its small to some people but not to me. The only reason why three stars is because the guy offered to put whipped cream in my drink that should of had it already.

Stood at the counter with no acknowledgement and had to ask to have my order taken. Very rude and short. Am a gold member and visit a lot of different starbucks and this was the worse one ever. Not coming back to this place until they change their staff.
One of the workers some dude was complaining the whole time I was there maybe he dont really know what the word work means. And very very slow. No where to sit and my drink looked off some how. I visit different star bucks all over ca. As I'm a truck driver and by far the worst one I've ever been to. I never give reviews. But I had to this time.
Don’t do mobile orders. Take three times longer. Have had multiple people who walked in get their coffee before a bunch of people waiting on mobile orders. Still good coffee and customer service, just the mobile service itself needs to be revamped. Just checkout in line if you’re in a hurry.
I come to this starbucks quite a bit. Today I went through the drive through, ordered 2 drinks.Alli was the woman who took my order. One of those orders was a a iced white mocha w/EXTRA carmel drizzle.. I say extra, cause they dnt add it anymore for free. I payed for the drinks waited longer the usual for this drink and it came out with 3 lines of carmel on the the top of the foam. I said that's the EXTRA carmel drizzle ? she said yes thats how we do it. Its usually not though,I get this same drink all the time, literally twice a week for years lol. I asked if she could add more.. She almost seemed annoyed that I did, then she just added a little more on top and when she handed it to me. Which I was ok with what she added. I mentionesld- usually they line the cup, when I say extra, just lettting her my expirence.Then again she seemed annoyed, I said well I did pay for extra soo..Then she rolled her eyes and said okayyyy .. She prob thought I was pullin away but I caught it. Im leaving the review because why are you getting upset that I am asking for what I asked for and paid for. I understand ppl make them different but no need for attitude. I guess from now on I need to be more specific with " can you line the cup w/Extra carmel drizzle " this is the drink after she added the carmel so clearly there was barely before she did that..I put a picture of what I usually get when I ask for the same exact thing lol.. you can clearly see a difference.
Crummy experience here today, nice barista etc but..... Place was dirty, trashes all full and worst of all my iced coffee was terrible, mostly just 1/2&1/2! If you run out of ice coffee just make more, don't think you can trick us by filling the cup with ice and cream then 2oz of coffee. This is baby milk and really gross!

I ordered a bagel and a double chocolate chip frappuccino. They told me that item is no longer on the menu and they have to build it from scratch. I guess the lady hit the wrong button because after waiting I asked another worker why was the color a light brown and he very rudely told me it was my fault for ordering it online like that. To which I said I ordered it in store so how was it my fault. He responded well I must have ordered it like that. I called the lady over who I first ordered it she knew right away she made the mistake when she seen the drink on the counter she told the guy she pushed the wrong bean button "whatever that means" the guy just raised his shoulders and walked away but she apologized and remade the drink.

My fiance ordered a venti dragon drink and and she proceeded to scoff and say "dragon drink! I've never heard of that" and made my fiance feel absolutely stupid. Then when I ordered the summer Berry lemonade she asked "with water or lemonade" in a very angry and impatient voice. I said "oh I said lemonade please" and she huffed and sighed and acted like a huffy 15 year old and not the 65 year old woman she was. Then at the window she basically handed us a drink and closed the window. Then she handed the other one and slammed the window shut before we could ask for straws. She got the drinks wrong even though we clarified it 4 times. So we went inside to exchange them and she proceeded to glare at and IGNORE MY FIANCE AT THE REGISTER. Fire this woman.

I have gone to Starbucks for 18 years. I got a coffee that was not hot enough. When I asked for another one the barista and her manager tried to spin a story around how “that is the temperature it comes out at” and how may be I added more milk etc… Now give me a break. They did not even say sorry. Horrible staff.
Why is Denise always so mean?
At this Starbucks service and food quality is not the issue. The employees spent my entire 30 minutes in this store yelling about the store management and employee treatment. While I was ordering, two employees shouted at each other from opposite ends of the serving area. The person taking my order could barely hear what I have to say. Apparently there was an incident at this store involving the store manager having the police called on him. The employees are sharing this incident with all of the customers. Some of the comments About Management are mind-boggling. One employee, tall male with mustache, tried to calm down the other employees. But it didn't work. They just ranted and raved louder.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Bad service all around. My husband ordered a pour over and I ordered a London fog, no water. Nothing complicated. Our order took over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, 5 people who were in line behind us got their drinks. When I asked why ours was taking so long, she tried to say they were mobile orders, when I had clearly seen those people in line behind us. When we finally got our order, they’d put water in my latte and my husband’s pour over was cold! Absolutely do not go to this Starbucks!
The Barista was rude and was like “ You did not say that”. When someone is making an order you should never be rude with them even if you do not understand their order. I hope they do better customer trainings for their Baristas.
I typically don’t have issues as I order on the app, and today I redeemed my birthday drink with my usual substitution of oat milk because I am lactose intolerant. I took my drink with me to the beach to enjoy the sun and read some, and I’m sure you can see where this is going, but the drink was not made correctly because an hour later I had the stomach rumble that meant I needed to get home quick. Thankfully I made it but what a way to spend my birthday! Please take caution with milk substitutions, I’m not just ordering with oatmilk and no whipped cream for funsies.
Edit: came back to this location and they messed up my order in the drive thru and didn’t know until the window because they didn’t repeat the order or have the screen working so that was followed by the worker slamming the drive thru window in my face. Was so excited to get a drive through Starbucks in my neighborhood but it has not been great. The service is always slow, it doesn’t matter if you order ahead or not. As well as the staff almost always get my order wrong. It’s very frustrating and will likely stop going to this location.
I came today at 10:30am. The lady or man i can’t tell with really short curly hair and glasses is rude, no eye contact, fooling around with other workers and paying no mind to us. This is not the first time either
The pup cup is free but you have to order it which is not available on Starbucks app, so when I ordered a coffee from the app for in store pick up, I will need to line up and wait for the pup cup order in store, what’s the point of ordering from the app, grab and go?
The drink was fairly standard, the service and atmosphere was horrible. First the young lady taking my order couldn’t even do it to were halfway through a male had to finish the orders. Secondly they didn’t fill the cup up all the way because I asked for no ice. When I asked about it I was told that that was policy…well if it’s policy then you are the only location I have been to in 25yr of going to Starbucks on 4 continents following that policy…. Needless to say I will not be going back.
Barista and drive-through sounded annoyed that we even wanted to order drinks and food. She kept cutting us off asking anything else anything else and then when we reached the window, she gave us a half full Venti drink and because we asked for no ice she said we only get it half full. Then she argued with us saying that that was Starbucks policy. We have been going to Starbucks for more than 20 years and I’d have to say almost every day. We have never had that problem. Also, that doesn’t make sense because if you order a hot drink, they don’t give it halfway because there’s no ice in it. Bottom line we have never been treated that way in Starbucks barista are always very kind and accommodating.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I visit Starbucks nearly every day, but after repeated poor experiences at the Reservation Road & Del Monte location, I’m done. Twice now, I’ve placed a mobile order and arrived at the drive-thru at the time the app indicated my drink would be ready, only to be lectured by the barista that I need to wait longer before picking it up. Today, my order was placed at 9:16 AM, with an estimated pickup of 9:20 AM—I arrived at the drive-thru at 9:19 AM and was still met with attitude. This isn't an issue of wait times; it's about pretentious, disrespectful service. If there's an actual policy about waiting longer, it should be reflected in the app. Otherwise, staff shouldn’t be condescending to customers for following the app's instructions. I contacted customer service, and while they were polite and offered a small service recovery credit, I declined. I’m not looking for free drinks—I just expect basic courtesy when picking up my order. Instead, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Today's energy was low... And I left my spinach wrap on the counter till I got my coffee. I don't think I should have to explain why that tortilla was hard as a tostada. Terrible service. Took 40 minutes to make a matcha latte while there were five+ people behind the counter. My food was cold by the time I got my drink. Better off going somewhere else.
Extremely busy and low staffed with seemingly unhappy staff. I'd rather, next time, hold my order for coffee at a larger Starbucks. I saw a lady have to wait almost 10 minutes for a employee to grab her 2 cake pops for her kids. And there was only me ahead of her. It looks like they fill orders for pick up before they fill orders for in store customers..
We were so excited for this new location to open, but it has been nothing but disappointment. We assumed since they would have a drive thru now that they would extend their hours but no they close pretty early considering the location by target closes later. We always try to mobile order but they never have anything available or they turn off the mobile order feature and we can’t order ahead. We live closer to this location, but still have to drive out to the target location. They’re nice & fast anyway so we’ll just have to keep going over there, but why open up and renovate a new location if they’re just going to be terrible.

I saw a lady have to wait almost 10 minutes for a employee to grab her 2 cake pops for her kids. And there was only me ahead of her. It looks like they fill orders for pick up before they fill orders for in store customers..
The Barista was rude and was like “ You did not say that”. When someone is making an order you should never be rude with them even if you do not understand their order. I hope they do better customer trainings for their Baristas.
We were so excited for this new location to open, but it has been nothing but disappointment. We assumed since they would have a drive thru now that they would extend their hours but no they close pretty early considering the location by target closes later. We always try to mobile order but they never have anything available or they turn off the mobile order feature and we can’t order ahead. We live closer to this location, but still have to drive out to the target location. They’re nice & fast anyway so we’ll just have to keep going over there, but why open up and renovate a new location if they’re just going to be terrible.
