Been coming here for many years. Isidro has always been friendly to me and family. I have always enjoyed his choritzo burritos. Will continue to come here for many years to come

I had a bacon breakfast burrito and it was great. The coffee was also good and service was fast. Definitely going back to try other things.

THE BEST CHORIZO ON THE WEST COAST!!!! His house recipe bar far succeeds any mexican style chorizo out there...no heart burn, not to spicy and most of all not Greasy!!!! A++++++ for taste and it's a must have in your the area!

My son and I have been going to Isidro's since 2013; we have taken friends, family and coworkers and have visited on birthdays, graduation and "Wednesdays". The food is delicious and plentiful at a fair price and better yet, the owners and staff are like family.

Mexican food done right. Family operation that's more about the sabor/taste than flashy looks. They have the 3 Fs down - Friendly, fast, and fresh. Well done!

I love this delicious restaurant. The owners wife is so sweet. I come here almost every evening with my little dog. We always order thier chicken quesadillas and my dog and I love it!!! I just went in a recent trip to Mexico and this by far the closest I can get to the flavor I did there. The pastor was tasty and flavorful, salsas were fresh and hot. Carnitas was great as well. Ohh and they had. Victoria beer, which is my favorite Mexican beer.

Heard they had the BEST breakfast burrito in town so on my way to fish in Marina I stopped at 730am. I ordered the combination breakfast burrito it came with green or red salsa I had the green. Drive thru was nice didn't have to get out of my jeep and I was greeted with an amazing Buenos Dias! Didn't get the name of the youngster working he was great, good service. The burrito was very good. I will definitely stop here again.

Just flew in from Dallas TX, was starving and craving tacos. Ordered the asada tacos and a breakfast burrito. Burrito is huge. All the food was good. I will be back.

Love this family owned taco shop. We have been eating here for years. Very affordable meals. Huge portions and inexpensive but not cheap crap. The tortilla chips are delicious and freshly made on site. Chimichangas are divine! Drive through is a great bonus for a burrito craving!

This will always be my favorite breakfast burrito stop 😋 Their sausage breakfast burrito is the best! So filling for a college student and affordable. Don't forget the homemade salsa! Mr. and Mrs. Isidro are always nice and welcoming to everyone.

I love Isidro's. They have great burritos and are so friendly. My girlfriend and I have been going there for 3 years now and they always grey us with a smile and friendly chit chat. The owner has even insisted we try different things on the house. I wish they bottled their salsa. I'd buy a couple a week.

The service was great and the owners are sweet! The food was delicious and the salsa is definitely homemade! I loved it! The is good and spicy, the pork was a little bland. The carne asada was great and the pastor personally was my favorite and the best tasting meat there! The burritos are big and the sauce is spicy if you like spicy. I would go back there again but the cool thing is they have a drive through! They also serve beer if you dine in! So all in all good little dive setting.

This is a great local restaurant. The owners are always friendly when I come in and are easy to talk to. We went here to celebrate a project completion and then a birthday, and both times the food was great.

Isidro's was recommended to me and I became obsessed with trying them out after reading their Yelp reviews and seeing that they had a chile relleno burrito (under $8 with tax). I used to enjoy those at a restaurant that's since closed and rarely see it on menus. This was legit. The tortilla was soft and fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted. It was accompanied by two salsas -- tomatillo & pico de gallo. The only difference was that their version is dry. The only con is that I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't leave any leftovers! Next time, we may eat there (a huge plus is that they serve beer, too) and I may ask for this burrito wet (covered in red sauce).

Quick service. Quite good prices. Although unless they mixed up our two beef burritos, the regular carne asada had more beef than the super burrito. All in all, we will consider this restaurant next time we visit Monterey.

The Chile relleno burrito was fantastic, everything else I tried was just ok. That included the tostadas, tacos, nachos, and chicken quesadilla. The flavors were bland and the tostadas had too much bean.

Plus is a drive through. I got the super burrito. The flavor is just ok. Its about a foot long and costs 11 bucks.

I haven't had everything but the carnitas burrito is very good. Food comes out quick and the location is right on Del Monte Boulevard.

We have lived in San Antonio, Texas for a long time, so sometimes we both have a craving for good Mexican food. We had heard that this little place in Marina could take care of that craving. I ordered the enchilada plate, with one of each - chicken, cheese and beef, with refried beans and rice. It was good food, but not as spicy as I'm used to. The salsa was very good, so I added it to all of my food. I love bean and cheese tacos, so I scooped refried beans and some cheese from my enchilada into a tortilla, added salsa, and enjoyed! My husband ordered the chili rellenos, and also added lots of salsa. It's great to find a source for good Mexican food when we get those cravings. I'm sure we'll be back. We are finding that people here in the Monterey area are not very aggressive at spicing their food. Living in Texas certainly made us love our spicy food.

I went on a Sunday so I assume it was for that reason that there weren't many people. I went with my parents and brother. To start off, the customer service wasn't very pleasant. The woman at the counter, who both took and served our order, rushed my dad when he was ordering because he asked if he could go to the bathroom before he finished his order. I understand how that could be frustrating but customer service should be of one of their highest values. I don't get why he should've been rushed considering that we were their only customers present at the time. Talk about being impatient. She made no effort to make us feel important. It's like she was just there to do business. No "Hey how are you doing" or "How's your day going". None of that. That stuff matters when you run a restaurant. The food was ok but in my opinion, mediocre. I got a California Burrito and was disappointed. The flavor was bland. My parents and my brother got their food and they said it was good. The price for what you get is bad, in my opinion. My burrito was 7 or 8 dollars but I don't think it was worth it. It wasn't even loaded. The bottom of the burrito had what seemed like an air pocket. The chips were good and the salsa was spicy. It was even flavorful. We asked for a second plate of chips and they were bad. They were way too oily. That is a no-no for me. The last thing I will complain about is the fact that they didn't restock their napkins per table. I noticed that not only our table but most other tables didn't have napkins. I used to work at a taqueria myself and from day 1 the boss told me that we had to always keep restocking the napkins so that customers always had some. I didn't like that there were only two napkins on our table (keep in mind there was 4 of us eating). They do, however, serve a generous amount of whatever beverage you order, especially if it's a large. Still, I wouldn't go here again unless it was the only authentic Mexican restaurant.

This is not the fault of the restaurant operators. They are not flexible at all in their food presentation. Don't ask for anything offered in the burrito to be placed on the side. Don't expect the pricing to match the menu board and don't be surprised if they limit the salsa. Pinching pennies is not always good business.

My beans were exceptionally cold next to the rest of the food which was extremely salty. I ordered the carnitas platter and was very disappointed considering the price and the food quality. Sorry isidros, never again.

Food is great, however service was not so delightful. The waitress was rushing around too busy to even see how we were doing. Bathroom was not so clean. No toiletties available.

I’ve been here a few times, and even though the service wasn’t great, the food always made up for it. They recently increased prices without changing the sign, and then were rude about it when asked why my total didn’t match the prices posted. On top of that, the food isn’t as good. The food was bland and the meat was kind of rubbery. The only saving grace was the salsa.

The food is awesome.... I used to frequent this place 2-3times a week. Recently, I made the mistake of asking for extra salsa 😔. I was even willing to pay, just wasn't given the opportunity! It kind of baffles me that all my money spent there , all my small business support means nothing!

I ordered the basic chile verde burrito ($10). It was so spicy it was nearly inedible. Interestingly, when I added the salsa that was provided, that actually reduced the heat. The flavor of the meat was OK ("nothing to write home about"). I've definitely had MUCH better chile verde burritos. For $10, the burrito was also a bit small. I will not return to this place.

Been here only one time and tried out their carne Asada burrito and they barely throw any meat in it, they also wanted to charge me for lemon which they don't give you any when you buy the burritos. This is just on the burritos which we bought 3 of them and we all said the same thing!

Poor service , I called to make a pick up order ahead of time, they said 5 minutes and when I arrived at the restaurant they still had me wait about 10 minutes at the window , there chicken tacos still had a indent of pink so NOT boiled all the way Plus there chicken tacos why can't they just grill it . Tortillas Undercooked , Salsa Not great , SAVE YOUR MONEY ON Not eating here $2.75 for tacos you can cook better at home ! No wonder this place has a lot of poor reviews.

The lady was fighting with me for a jarrito coke and she was being rude to me I was telling her I’m pointing at the drink she didn’t even bother to look and we left because I took that as humiliating.

I went with my Mexican family, we were the only ones in the restaurant and we over heard the waitress say in Spanish, “those customers look like Indian people” and laugh about something after that with the chef.so what if we were, there’s nothing wrong with that. She gave us attitude when she took our orders. My mom asked for a lime for her ceviche and the waitress said “what isn’t it sour enough for you”. We were very hungry but didn't finish because the food was awful, the meat was dry and everything was bland, the horrible staff also ruined our appetites.

They charge for chips, they charge for refills and they give you skimpy ass salsa enough for a lick, the lady was rude but very friendly to a white family right next to me like if they were royalty....my burrito was nothing but a gay rice parade. Very bad experience drive pass and never look back.

California burrito was filled with beans and rice and only sprinkles of meat. Was just expecting fries, meat and pico. Also got carne asada fries and it came in one big block from the cheese they used. Nothing had flavor . Saving grace was their salsa which was pretty good. Will not come back.

This place deserves - 5 stars. Very rude, crappy customer service . First of all no chips or salsa served and when our food arrived we received a baby skimpy amount of salsa for our food what a joke. Word of mouth travels and I this is the start of spreading the word. I kindly asked for a refill on my horchata and the rude response from the older lady waitress reply was" I don't have anymore, no refills." She had no decency to ask "would you like a soda in place of the horchata? Spent $2.99 for horchata and can't even have enough made on hand to give refills.

They have no refills on soda they charge for chips and salsa they charge 1.50 to add cilantro and onion to a burrito! The burrito de cárnitas was good the tacos were plain and had no flavor the taco had very little meat for the big tortillas! Customer service was rude as well! Never will return!

I came here on lunch with my son, knowing that it might be a little while wait. We started out in the drive through but the line was really long so I decided to go in. There was one person working front counter and drove thru. I ordered 4 tacos. 25 minutes later and after someone came in after and got his order I politely said "I'm sorry I have to go back to work." This Apparently was the wrong thing to say, because she got an attitude. Telling me that I'm going to have to wait anywhere to get my food as though I don't know that as a grown woman. The Fact is a customer very politely told you they had to go, after that you don't need to say anything else. Then she didn't even have the right ticket for me, which would explain why I never received my food. My issue is not that they were busy, my issue is not that I never got my tooth. My issue is in the level of service I received after I told her that I had to leave. I Understand people getting frustrated. I would have never written a review if I had Just gotten my money back

The lady at the register who took my order would not allow me to have a glass of water . I ordered a meal for dine in. The lady was completely rude and couldn't even give me a cup of water out of curiosity. In fact she wanted to charge me for a glass of water and said " we don't give free water here " I walked out and cancelled my order. Horrible experience for my First time ever coming here for a meal in marina ca . They don't even deserve a star !

It’s crazy how there’s so many reviews about the same lady being blatantly rude and unprofessional. Come to find out she’s the owners wife, so makes sense why she is entitled to act this way. Her name is Leticia. My second time coming, ordered very clearly and she gaslit us both times because SHE got our order wrong after we confirmed at the drive thru speaker with her and she follows with snarky comments “this is why I repeated your order”. She made this comment to my dad who was nothing but friendly today. Her behavior is disgusting. Our family gave her family business $140 on a single occasion and she treats paying customers like this.

The service was decent but the flavors were bland. We got the chicken enchiladas and even though they were covered in sauce it just didn’t have a lot of flavor. Adding the salsa and some salt helped but barely. There’s more flavor at Taco Bell to be honest

The food was bland and forgettable—the flavor was zero. For the price they charge, I expected something way better. But the worst part? They charge extra for chips! Seriously? Something that most places offer for free, they nickel and dime you for. And to top it off, the service was terrible. The waiter was rude, dismissive, and acted like we were bothering her just by being there. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values its customers. Overpriced, flavorless, and not worth the hassle.

The female owner is incredibly rude and has no understanding of good business practice. I used to come all the time and buy food for myself and others. I've probably spent over $2000 there in the last few years. She gave me a hard time because I asked for lime with my $10 burrito. I will take my business somewhere that appreciates their regulars. Won't be coming back!

I am shocked that anyone would eat at this restaurant. The sheer and blatant rudeness from the female owner is disgusting. The food is well below being edible and it’s just gross. I gave this restaurant a try and definitely won’t be returning again. Seeing so many other reviews mentioning this woman shows me that she has a problem. I don’t know how they manage to remain open for business because I didn’t see any other customers besides myself. Huge parking lot that was completely empty because of the lack of customers.

Ordered 3 chicken tacos and I didn’t even finish the first one. The tacos were completely tasteless. Maybe they have other better food, but I’m not gonna chance it again.
