What differs Taste of China to others is there is authenticity you can taste. Ordered Lo Mein, young chow fried rice, dumplings and the onion pancake. Every bite is a so flavorful. Not dry or bland like some other places. The dumplings are my favorite, big fat JUICY plump ones HOMEMADE! It’s a bang for a buck that you won’t regret! A hidden gem in Maspeth. Great delivery service too. Will definitely recommend and come back for more!! P.s. Smile and tip, essential workers are everyday people too:)

i got a take out tonight to bring to my friends house. we got chicken wings and pork ribs with bones. they just tasted amazing. i’m not new to this restaurant but usually i will just get beef broccoli combo or beef lawman which are my favorites. my first time tried the wings and ribs, they never upset me! and the young girl working there she is so friendly and a fast server! i loooooove it. thumbs up here.

I went for a casual lunch, didn't expect it to be such a banger spot. I ordered the sesame chicken with some dumplings. Something ordinary but wow, I don't know how to explain it but it just tastes better. We just returned from our honeymoon and staying overnight before our new appt ready. We are both starving. I called around 11/30 no response. I’m sure they’re obviously closed. Hotel front desk said no one came by at all. If they couldn’t reach us by phone (which no way because phone is on ) they didn’t even attempt to come into the hotel desk???? My card was charged , and we have no food and starving. Now I’m sure nothing will be open at this point. I’m sure the food was good but this situation was bad.

Later I get notification that it was cancelled , no call nothing just through the app. This is infuriating as when I do call the place no one picks up. Let’s start with, I have not ordered from them since the pandemic then when I ordered and said I will pick up, they failed to mention cash only. Their roast pork fried rice, they forgot to put the roast pork, they put tiny pieces in with the rice, it was dry, my husband liked their shrimp with vegetables. You can’t destroy wontonsoup, and finally their vegetable egg rolls were horrible, oily, doughy and the insides were burnt, oh and forgot their rib tips, dry . I guess I won’t be ordering again from here. Extremely disappointed.

No sign saying they don't accept credit cards. I ordered a spare rib combination dinner. I wound up having to cross the street and use an atm with a $3 charge to take out 20 bucks. Worse part is when I got home the ribs, if you could even call them ribs were skinny, no meat, burnt and tasted horrible. The rice was dry and old. If I had checked them before I left I would have save myself 20 bucks. About 10 years ago I ordered Lobster Cantonese here and when I got home all I had were lobster shells with absolutely not a drop of meat inside them. I guess things haven't changed much.

Honestly, I’m starving and just don’t want to deal with this anymore. It’s so frustrating because this is the second time this has happened, all because they keep taking orders they can’t handle. It feels like they care more about the money than about customer service or quality. Looking back, I shouldn’t have given them a second chance. Definitely not happening again. To the response of my review The driver did not contact me multiple times. Even after it was late. The individual I spoke with when calling for updates provided inconsistent information regarding the expected arrival time, despite the delivery being late. Approximately two hours after the late delivery around 10 PM—the manager arrived at my apartment building claiming to be there to issue a refund. This situation was highly unusual, and I was concerned, as refunds to credit cards are typically processed through official channels and not at a person's residence. I was genuinely worried and scared that something bad might happen. Don’t show up to people’s houses without notice! If you ever show up here again I will call the police and file charges.

Ordered some take out. Food was not hot. Also got pissed off due to the way they call me. Owner needs to learn some basic manners. They also didn’t put spoons/forks and sauces .
