Breakfast was fantastic. Home fries were some of the best that I have ever had, seasoned well and not too crispy. It had a hole in the wall feel but the food was fast and the service friendly. Very much a spot for locals, to the point that one patron grabbed coffee and served it to everyone after he gave himself a refill. 10/10 experience.

We discovered this diner by chance. It seemed to be a favorite with locals, with many people addressing the employees as friends. The food was so amazing. I could not believe it. My pictures look pretty boring but the taste was some of the best. The service was personal, and food did take longer than some other establishments, but it was worth every second. Prices were fair, and they could accommodate many dietary restrictions. I would go back here without hesitation.

This will always be my favorite place to eat no matter where I am. The food is always 100% of the time spot on. Full of flavor, always the right temp, and great portions. Even better than the food...the owners and their daughter are the best ever!!! You will not walk away disappointed....unless you don't get to eat there :)

Nanny and Pop's is a special place we just recently discovered. Our family spends a week on Sacandaga Lake every summer including our grandchildren, Winter and Bradley. We were looking for a diner outside of Edinburg and Northville. We cranked up our GPS and luckily found Nanny and Pop's. EVERYTHING about this diner is perfect. We're from Western CT where diners rule and most of them are very good but this small town mom and pop diner in Mayfield, NY is exceptional! My Western omelet was cooked perfectly and home fries were crispy and, all of our food was still hot when it arrived at our table. Dad was the chef and his wife and daughter served and they couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. If you're ever in the Mayfield/Gloversville area, do yourself a favor and stop by for breakfast. It was such a treat!

I took my 10 year old son here for his birthday and he loved it. When we got there he said it was his birthday and they ALL said happy birthday to him, the waiter even brought over a bag that had toys in it and let him pick. They even put a birthday candle on his omelet and the whole diner was singing happy Birthday to him. The food 2as absolutely AMAZING. They were very kind and easy to engage with. The environment was very subtle but fun. Definitely recommended if you need a diner that will never let you down.

3yr Local here. My first time eating here. They offer both lunch and breakfast menu throughout their day which is a big plus. Food was very good and very cheaply priced, a minimum and solid 6.5/10 for the food taste and quality and 9/10 monetary value with old school large portions. I've dined around America and Europe through hundreds of cafés and restaurants. Anything past a 6/10 for me is a definite recurring customer. I had a quasadilla, fries, potato cubed fries, and French toast. To make it a 10/10 would be with one free drink refill but I'm not complaining at all. Many thanks to your good management. If you invested $2k in a few exterior tables and chairs for outside even with some Gravel on the ground, it would pay off as an investment and attract people more frequently and increase customer base over time. I have ten years experience running successful businesses.

Great food and friendly service. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the dining atmosphere. It is a little crowded and needs some interior design or renovation. The place is clean though and good food with large portions. The homefries could be a little more crispy but great flavor. We will return for sure.

The door to the kitchen was open and i watched one of the cooks drop a ladle on the ground, wipe it a bit with a paper towel and throw it back in the pot. Personally that seems a bit unsanitary for me. I got a breakfast sandwich and there was a small black hair on the bagel. The service was great and the sandwich was good. Although even if i drop a dish on the floor in my own home i always wash it before putting it into ANYTHING i will be digesting. Not trying to be a Karen, just trying to stop someone from getting sick.
