Lupe is a local icon. He and his family have operated the palapa for many years. The food is always fresh delicious and the beer is cold. Right on the beach so you might see whales or schools of small fish boiling the water and being devoured by the birds. Great place to just relax.

Great place, right on the beach, where you can have lunch while watching the waves. The food was good if not great. Must have guacamole, it is all made fresh on order and tastes spectacular. They also have many shrimp dishes, we had the garlic shrimps and they tastes really good. Chicken quesadilla was also very good. I had Limonada Mineral for drink and it was half price and much better than what I had the night before at a fancy restaurant. After lunch we took to the ocean for a quick swim and the owner offered us plastic chairs to rest in and for little one to get braids.

I came here because I read good reviews. I don't know if it's not what it used to be or if I just had an off day, but everything we ordered was bad. My shrimp were cooked in very burnt oil, they were full of black residue, and two of them, when I removed the breading, were burnt inside, as if they had used shrimp that had already been cooked for another dish. Those shrimp weren't worth the 236 pesos. The shrimp and octopus appetizer was a joke; it only had a few slices of onion, a little lemon, and no salt. The octopus was chewy, and the cooked shrimp was the only decent thing. We kept asking the waiter for ice for the hot drinks; he was the only one and was overwhelmed trying to serve several tables. The place looks neglected, as do the bathrooms. It's not a cheap place, but it's not expensive either; their prices are on par with other restaurants in the area, but the quality is really bad. I'm from Mazatlán but I live elsewhere, so every time I go back home, I crave seafood the way only Mazatlecos know how to make it, and I didn't expect to be so disappointed. I hope they improve and go back to being what everyone else here says they are.

It isnt the place showned on the app and the actual place is really expencive, if you dont have dollars stay away, gringoś turist trap.
