Stopped here on our drive from South Padre Island to Laredo because they had the football game on. Came here on a Sunday and was not too crowded. They are social distancing the tables. The cheesesteak sliders were delicious! The pretzel hot dogs were also good. They were very accommodating and allowed my service dog and also changed the TV to the specific football game my husband wanted to watch. Great service too.

We arrived at opening time on a Friday morning; we made a trip down from San Antonio specifically to visit this location because it's a big thing we like to do while traveling. We met the General Manager, Pedro, when we arrived and he was SO NICE, and his staff were all kind, quick and attentive. This location felt like it was slightly below average in size, but that's with comparing to a lot of the older, much larger stores. It felt like a relatively newer store as well, but it has been remodeled so they have the Social Bays and The Arena along with the redecorated dining area. Of course, we played some in the Midway; I had one minor issue on the Basketball Pro game where one side was not giving credits; the tech promptly fixed the issue and made everything right. I could tell he maintained the games well because he was going around checking games and restocking cards. We also played some darts in one of the Bays and had lunch at this location. The food was excellent and it did not take long at all to arrive, and the server made sure we had everything we needed. I don't know if I'll ever be in McAllen again, but it would be worth the trip if only to get to see Pedro and the other managers again; he was one of those GMs who cares about the guest experience, so if you visit this location and have a question or concern, don't hesitate to ask a manager!

1st time here and it was soon amazing, Erika our waitress was the very best, helped us with food and drink choices and explained everything just perfect.

I came when it wasn't busy at all thankfully so I got to play alot of games, it's very fun and clean here and they provide tables near the games in case you have any bags or drinks you don't want in the way when you're playing the games. The bathrooms were also clean.

Dave & Buster's in McAllen is the ultimate fun spot for all ages. The arcade games are diverse and exciting, and the food, especially the burgers and wings, is surprisingly good for a gaming venue. The atmosphere is lively with a great mix of entertainment options. Service can be hit or miss due to the crowd, but the overall experience is worth it. Perfect for family outings or a night out with friends.

Mia was our waiter and she did an amazing job at serving us today. She was kind and quick. Loved the food she recommend. 10/10 will come again. Kroli at the arena was also super amazing at explaining the games, it was so fun. The hostess Delia was also so kind and such a bright person. They also now have bays, didn't get to try them out today but for sure will next time.

His great attitude and professionalism really made our visit special. There was a small mix-up with the tap, but Eric handled it with so much grace. We were so impressed with how he managed everything, and we just want him to know how appreciated he is. We’re definitely coming back and will be asking for Eric again. He made our night, and he deserves recognition for the great job he’s doing!

The place is great. I didn't have any food, so I won't comment on it. No complaints besides the fact that the Kung Fu Panda game was messed up. I would hit one pad and it would hit the pad below it as well costing me the Jackpot. The same thing applies to the pads not working at all. Would come again.

My boys enjoyed the games which I think are pricey. The food is decent and pricea reasonable. What I didn't like was the noise on the eating area. It is too loud, not good to have a conversation.

My gal and I weren't hangry as usual, so we shared some nachos. Order took so long, I became hangry, and didn't even snap a pic of the plate. I was so hungry I didn't even take a pic of my awesome nachos! My son had a Philly cheese-steak sammie, and loved it! OMG, I had no clue how hard those dancing games were! Quite a few games out of order but I didn’t realize until after I put my game card in. Was there for a work event the food was buffet style in chafing dishes but was not fresh. The overall atmosphere was pretty awesome. Can’t wait to give it a try on my own time.

professional and friendly. The ambiance was great, and my children really enjoyed it. However, the young man at the podium who handles ticket exchanges for prizes was extremely rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. He gave both my children and me an unnecessary attitude for no reason. I was deeply upset by the way he spoke to my children, who are under 10 years old. Because of this experience, I don’t think I will return to this establishment unless he is no longer working there.

The pretzel pizza bits for an appetizer was pretty good. I was there during happy hour and thats the only time I would but a drink there. Half price cocktails and your still paying 5$ a drink. The first drink I could not even taste alcohol. Second was good. The games were decent but as I stated, it is not as big as I would have expected. 20$ lasted me longer than I expected to be honest. Anything that is a big game is double the price to play. Overall I would go back anytime they have happy hour

Its a solid location for young adults to go out semi-supervised. We celebrated a cousin's birthday, and enjoyed ourselves from a distance. The chicken ceasar needs a touch up, maybe a bit to sour, but otherwise, its a D&B.

Love going to this establishment. The vibe is fun and my kids love it. Food is ok. In my opinion, the Salmon plate is the best however portions are getting smaller. My favorite drink is the watermelon margarita it’s super delicious. I can’t shut up about it! Games are a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. For me, the experience is 8/10.

Is this burger worth $15? I don't think so. My dining experience at Dave and Buster's was a huge letdown. The lettuce bun, in particular, was a perplexing choice that didn't work at all. We had chosen this restaurant based on online information about various vegan options, but the reality was quite different. Supposedly, all Dave and Buster's locations should offer a wheat bun without egg or milk, but this particular one did not. This was a disappointment, especially considering the number of people with egg or milk allergies. What's even more baffling is that they offer two different vegan patties, the Impossible burger and another one, but they lack a suitable bun to complete the burger. Normally, we would have a substantial meal before going to a location with limited vegan options, but due to the promising online information, we didn't. As a result, we were left quite hungry, as the meal provided was far from satisfying. This might have been around 200 calories, while we expected a meal closer to 600-700 calories. We resorted to ordering two side orders of fries to alleviate our hunger temporarily, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would suggest that this Dave and Buster's location follows what other branches do and offers at least one vegan bun option. That would be greatly appreciated. Credits: Regarding the pricing, games at Dave and Buster's are quite expensive, ranging from $1.07 to $1.60 per game, depending on the credits purchased. Some games that usually yield decent tickets didn't provide many here. For instance, Skee-Ball only gave a few tickets, around 2 to 5 per game when we played. The best ticket-earning games were the ones where you toss rings onto bottles and some others in that section. On average, we earned about 70 to 80 tickets per 8-credit game. Tickets: To accumulate enough tickets for a 1,000-ticket prize, it costs around $20 if you're solely focused on the prize. We brought our 16-month-old with us and were determined to leave with a Yoshi. We spent $75 on credits and managed to win a 2,200-ticket prize, which turned out to be a big Pikachu. However, only about half of the games we played awarded tickets, which was a disappointing realization. Many games that typically give tickets didn't do so at this location. While I'm an avid gamer and have visited many arcades across the country, I found this one to be decent, but the ticket rewards were hit or miss depending on the game. If you're eyeing the Oculus prize at 150,000 tickets, be prepared to spend around $2,000 to win the $500 VR system. Each $100 reward can yield an average of 7,500 tickets if you focus on the big-ticket games, so it's not the most cost-effective choice. Despite the issues with tickets, everything else about this location was fantastic. Our server was wonderful, despite not knowing the ingredients of most items and the absence of buns. She went out of her way to assist us. We spent hours playing games, even though they are quite overpriced. For a birthday party, it's acceptable. To Dave and Buster's, if you're going to offer a lettuce bun, please make sure it's substantial enough to replace what should be in the bun already. 🍔🎮💰

We were looking for something fun to do and grab a bite to eat. A bar was a must. Neither my boyfriend and I had come to D&B before. FOOD: I had the Chicken Avocado Club. It was good but a bit cold. My boyfriend ordered the pizza. I wish I had ordered that instead. It tasted great! DRINK: I had the Strawberry Watermelon Margarita. It was surprisingly refreshing. I was disappointed the cubes were not watermelon slices like I thought. Instead, they were ice cubes made of strawberry juice. I later used them on my Sprite to make it extra cold. GAMES: Good variety of games. The HALO game was a winner for us. The best part is there was hardly any children around, making it easier to curse aloud when let loose your game frustrations haha For $56 in tickets (chips, points, whatever) we had an evening of so much fun!

Food options are not too great but atmosphere and games are great

We went in to check it out on a Sunday at 8pm.The place had people wasnt overloaded, got my kids some of those expensive reload cards to pay.. Heads up its $2 extra for the card on top of what your paying. Food is on the pricey side. We went to the bar and a waiter passing by helped us out got is sone sprites right away. We didnt eat, just brought the girls to play. Each game costs minimum 6.8 credits Pretty pricey. The music was loud but i rather hear music than a bunch of kids crying and running around. Real modern games.. Mario kart was pretty cool. Customer service was ok.. No complaints

I had a bad weather day off so I took my son to Dave and Busters. We had a great time, there were game's that we both could enjoy together. We had fun on the air hockey table as well. Some of the games are basically the same thing just the theme is changed. We didn't try the food be cause we had dinner plans at home. So I'm rating the game room. I would have given Dave and Busters on more star except, I have to give them a thumbs down on cleanliness and the lack of Covid protection. There was nobody wiping down the handles, or hand held gaming devices, there was a pack of sanitizer wipes next to the virtual reality set ups. I remember grabbing some wipes from the vitural station to wipe down the gaming weapons we were going to use. No Bueno.

I have nothing to complain about the games, this is all about the restaurant. As soon as we entered, they forgot one of our drinks, waited 10mn for it, and one of the appetizer plates was broken in half. Then, the wings were overcooked and hard. The 'crispy' chicken tenders had nothing crispy, they were soggy and $11 for barely 5 tiny tenders? As for the 'truffle' fries, there was no sign of truffle. Simply too much garlic. The spicy korean wings were just covered in soy sauce. And even though it was a slow night there was no waiters on the floor and service was extremely slow. Will come back for games but never for the food.

Today we were celebrating my son’s birthday and one of the very kind employees recommended a special “no limit to play” card that also gave you a discount on food and drinks. We accepted that package but when we wanted to continue ordering more drinks or food they told us that we had to buy another “package for $59.99” at no time did they explain to us that you could only order everything at the same time!!! and I think that is not right… the card that came in the “no limits package” said that you would get a minimum of 1500 points to redeem and in the end they only got 400 which is not even enough for a gummy bear… hahaha I think the employees should explain better how to use that package, I really was not satisfied because they omitted many things and only told us “an apology for not mentioning it” are you serious? well an apology for not putting 5 stars, it is worth mentioning that I ended up paying more than $130.00 dlls and that’s okay it was my son’s birthday.

I truly enjoy the food from this place, is actually what makes me give it two stars, the games with the ambience and the food. When it comes to customer service, it’s always bad! I’ve gone a lot of times and every time the service provided by different waitresses is awful, I stop have the decency of tipping but not anymore, good service or nothing, games aren’t cheap and neither is the food. It seems like they recently made some renovations to the place, it looks nicer, and as I mentioned before, I love the food from here, hopefully the service was better or at least not as awkward as always.

She got our order on our appetizer wrong so we had to send it back to the kitchen and get it correct. Then, our food was served to the table next to us who had gotten there 15-20 min after us and we had to wait 30-40 min for our food to come out while we watch another table eat our food. Our server kept checking on us and saying the food wasn’t ready yet but the guy who served us our food admitted he served the wrong table. Again. Horrible service. I would not eat here again.

Terrible terrible terrible. The waitress brought our menus and didn’t come back for at least 20 minutes. Now it was 3pm so there was hardly anyone. So not an excuse. Sliders were cold n I got a house salad, which I did NOT order. My food was ok. Nothing out of this world. When our waitress finally did arrive, we asked for our check and she didn’t even offer a receipt or anything. We were ready to get out of there. Next time, I pay 75 dollars at a restaurant that is actually worth eating at. Saltgrass is up the street. BJs or even PF Changs has better service than this. Did I mention the 4 other waiters/waitresses hanging around the bar leaning against the wall just on their phones? None bothering to check on the customers? Nah. I work hard for my money… as do others. Dont waste your time here. Last time we go.

First time here. Went around 1pm not much people we figured it was perfect for my children to enjoy games.(heavily raining). We got seated and waited, waited and waited and saw the servers walking around, but we never got acknowledged like no one came to serve. Realize 35 minutes had passed by... Decided to step out and went to Bubba's across the street. No opinion on the food wasn't able to taste but the menu looks pretty pricey for basic food. Regardless a family of 4 got to pay $90 at bubba's. Thanks for the experience Dave& Buster's. Guess customers here are not much of a priority.

bad management, bad rude workers. the only thing worth here is the food yet it’s not even that good. games always stop working and they never put them out of order. i rather go to the location in san antonio or go to main event than come back.

Worst experience ever!!! Nobody greeted or served us. Was inside for over an hour just to get someone to take my drink order. Then the girl refuses to serve me because my ID was slightly bent. Never in my life have I ever heard of that and I was TABC certified Customer care is lacking and I will never come back again. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. Don’t even get me started on their POS menu for the pay and play. Do your mental health a favor and don’t come to this establishment

Been there 3 times and 2 out of the 3 times we had to wait over 30 minutes just to order our drinks, then we didnt even order our food till 30 minutes later, horrible service, never going there again

Food was good. Game area and management needs some work. My little cousin hit the jackpot on a game and won 14,442 tickets. After she went to cash in and pick out all her prizes, the manager said the game had a glitch and took away 12,000 of her tickets. Then proceeded to smirk when I told him that it’s not her problem, it’s theirs. Very poor customer service. The machine malfunctioned not her, she should have gotten her tickets. Store #109
