This isn’t about the food at allllll even though it was delicious and fresh. But I had to leave a review about the amazing experience at PF Chang’s in McAllen because of our server Javi A. We were a party of 15 and we were treated like guests of honor. We never had to ask for a refill, he gave us wonderful recommendations on food options (we have family members w/ food allergies), and he was so pleasant and attentive throughout the entire visit. We will definitely be returning and requesting the same server. Thank you!

Very enjoyable evening out with my wife 💕. I had Mongolian beef and my wife had the sea bass. We took home the chocolate wall cake. So good. My only wish is that they use a short grain rice like cal rose, which is much easier to pick up with chop sticks than long grain rice.

Ordered the Dynamite Shrimp and Pork Dumplings. They both were delicious and filling.

PF Changs is a family favorite. My mom loved it, she is no longer with us. I love it because it's what I have grown up eating. My children love it because they have ate with me every time I've gone. My grandchildren love it and sing happily on the ride to the restaurant. It's where we eat our favorite hot n sour soup and take pictures with the warrior horse outside.

I recently came by to have a good drink. I gotta say my evening was perfect with the bartenders, Roger and Martin. They were very helpful and friendly knowing the menu, and they even recommended me some of they're favorite dishes and of course helpful on the drinks mostly. I hope next time I stop by again, they're my bartenders again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at P.F. Chang's, and I have to say, our waiter Rich Zamora made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, Rich was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He offered fantastic recommendations, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our meal.

The food and service was great really recommend it. Great place to go with your loved one. I recommend the shrimp dumplings and their teppanyaki dishes.

Great customer service on our visit evening. Everything we ordered was fresh, and extremely tasty. I started with a hot & sour soup that was rich and velvety. My wife had the egg drop soup which she enjoyed. We order several appetizers as our meal and each and every one of them were what we expected. The tempura calamari had a great crust and flavor. The dumplings had a great crust, and when the sauce was poured over them, it really complemented the pork stuffing. My favorite dish of the evening was the chicken lettuce wraps. The iceberg lettuce was crispy, and the chicken was very flavorful. My wife loved her cucumber strawberry limeade, that had fresh muddled strawberries and string of cucumber. Our visit was pleasurable, and we will be back in the future.

One of the upscale Chinese cuisine outfit in town servings top notch food. You get a surprise every time. Most cordial and knowledgeable staff goes beyond serving food. Ask for the food suggestions. Lettuce wrap starters are amazing. Thank you for the best food and service.

Great food with extensive menu choices and pleasant atmosphere. Service could be a touch better. Customers shouldn't have to ask for water, or wait several minutes for server to appear for refills, ask for check, etc. Overall, great choice for Asian food.

My family loves P.F. Chang's, we've been eating it for years and were happy to see an location open up in McAllen, a 45 minute drive from Brownsville but better than not having it available in The Valley. I've never had a meal I disliked. We tend to order BBQ Spare Ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, or crispy green beans for appetizers, Beef a La sichuan as the main course, and Banana Spring Rolls that comes with a specialty ice cream and strawberries & blueberries on the side for dessert.

Food is great. Dumplings, sushi, lo mein and Wagyu steak were really tasty. Service at the bar was awesome and fast. Sapporo beer goes well with the food. I visit every time I’m in town.

It was definitely busy with it being Valentine’s Day, and we were seated about 25 minutes after our 8 PM reservation. Big thank you to the entire staff for working so hard and taking care of so many guests on such a hectic day. Food was delicious!

The prices on the beer and cócteles were very reasonable more like happy hour prices we went around 4 pm . For dinner We had Orange chicken it was sweet crunchy and you can really taste the orange flavors . The firecracker shrimp was delicious it wasn’t that spice . Portions are big and you can choose the type of rice you want . They have good selection on appetizers and dinner as well . The prices range from around $23 dollars for a good meal like my delicious shrimp 🦐. we definitely will come back again . This place has good vibe music and isn’t that loud so you can talk without screaming to each other . The seating area is spacious . We had a booth I love it cause is more private The decor inside is exquisite. Asian detailing. This Restaurant Is on my list to celebrate or just come to enjoy a nice relaxing evening.

On Halloween night my kids and I enjoyed a meal at PF Chang's. First time dinning great food. Love my dish. I would go back again. I encourage to go and try out their food. It's was delicious. Plenty of food.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at P.F. Chang’s this weekend after a convention. The wait time was very short, staff at the door was nice, our food was delicious, and we got complimentary dessert as well. Our server Aaliyah was super friendly and kind, she did an extraordinary job even though it was packed inside! Not your typical Chinese spot, everything is a little bit different. Don't expect to find Hardcore Chinese dishes you'd find at authentic Chinese restaurants. That being said, everything I've had here has been delicious.

Not only was it a Friday but it was pay day (hooray)...so I asked my wife if she wanted a little finer place to eat (she obviously said yes) so we decided on PF Changs. First, the place is quite large, there's a small bar when you enter. There is quite an extensive menu of appetizers which include appetizers, sushi, and the traditional large entrees. I wanted to try something different than just traditional sweet and sour chicken so I ordered the honey chicken and my wife ordered the salt and pepper prawns. We also ordered crab wontons and a hot and sour soup to whet the appetite. The wontons came out first...nice and light, perfectly crispy and the filling was quite tasty. They also brought my hot and sour soup...but no wonton strips. I asked for them and they said they don't carry wonton strips. Excuse me?! I had to ask again...how do you not carry wonton strips in a Chinese cuisine restaurant. How? The soup alone was amazing...the sourness was perfect balanced with a little bit of heat, but it needs wonton strips! On to the entrees...my wife LOVED her prawns. They were quite large but plump and juicy; they didn't taste frozen. The chili sauce that accompanied them were a great complement. My honey chicken was par for the course... nothing stood out honestly. The chicken was tender and juicy however maybe just a little more crispiness to them...a little more salt maybe? More sweetness and tanginess? Something was missing.... The rice as well was bland...I know it's steamed but it felt like a side that was not going to be eaten...and we took it home and we didn't. The service is great... servers are attentive. However the place feels slightly cramped... especially if you're sitting in the tables in the middle of the room. So it's hit and miss...hit on the crab wontons and hot and sour soup...but miss on the no wonton strips! Hit on the prawns but a miss on the honey chicken...and it's a definite hit on your bank account lol.

The wait was only 10 minutes long, our server was very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was very nice, very Asian. I had the best strawberry lemonade I've ever tried. The sweet and sour chicken was ok, the shrimp dumplings were unbelievably salty, tuna sushi was kinda mediocre but I liked the sauce it came with, the white rice was very delicious though. solid coconut ice cream though!!Maybe it just isn't my type of food, would have to give them another chance..

I am a bit disappointed. I have had the opportunity to dine in a different P.F CHangs and I had some expectations, that weren't accomplished. Maybe it was perception but all tables look close and may cause a discomfort and narrow hallways. Additionally it was a bit noisy. Food taste was OK, but again, I felt disappointed, I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken and meat,vegetables was like 1/4 of the dish and the rest was Rice (It is not visible at first sight, I must admit that it was served so not to show) Staff and waiters were kind at all time. Although I didn't had a bad experience. I didn't get what I expected and probably won't be back.

The food is always amazing. Extra crispy dumplings, fried rice, and wonton soup, with peach Boba tea. as always, the food is fantastic. However, the Service is something else. I had to wait over 20 minutes just to be told my tea was being made, and that was after I had requested my check so I could pay my bill. I have a favorite waitress but when I come in and ask for her, they always tell me she’s not available or that she’s not there and they did that again today and she was. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to sit in her section. don’t think I’ll go back.

I go to P.F. Chang’s pretty often. I usually get their food to go, but today I had went to go see the South Pole lights so I decided to dine in at went around an hour before they close. I understand y’all closing in an hour, but that doesn’t mean they’re closed we ordered our food it felt like a server was rushing us she brings our food all at different times then brings my mom, the wrong food and forgets some of our food then I asked if we could have it she says do I really want it or she’ll just take it off our tab mine the tab is over $100 and my mom did tip her $20 still even though the service was horrible, she would bring something to the table and instantly trim her back when I had asked for desserts, she had made a face gave us drinks with no straws my glass of water was empty for most of the time we were there, I had a flag down our server I understand some people don’t have the best of days, but as being a server dealing with someone’s food really impact someone’s mood I was just really disappointed and sad because I really do enjoy their food but I so disappointed on how poorly my server treated me and my family definitely think it about twice when going next time

First ever to be disappointed in our meal. We ordered the lunch teriyaki chicken and it was so over the top sweet. We questioned whether we had been given the sweet and sour chicken by mistake but was told by our server that this was the way PFChangs made it. We have had the teriyaki chicken before and this was not it. Too sweet even for the sweet and sour.

Very disappointed with our first time at PF Changs today. Sunday at noon. Not busy, no wait. Our waiter was polite, knowledgeable and very professional. The restaurant is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Hubby and I ordered 2 lunch specials, Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken with white rice. The hot and sour soup looked fabulous, however it was rather bland for a hot and sour soup and we have had plenty of it throughout the years. The "spicy" Kung Pao Chicken had almost no spice and lacked a depth of flavor, and was missing many ingredients found in the traditional dish. My Mongolian beef was tough and chewy. And in my opinion, it was flavorless. When I added the soy sauce at the table, it greatly added some needed taste. My side salad was small, but did taste good and fresh. Based on this one visit, I don't think we will return. I understand this is not a typical Chinese restaurant and they do adjust their menus to make this an "upscale" fusion type Chinese restaurant. And I also understand white rice is a bit bland. That's when the flavor of the meat and the sauces come into play and can make or break a meal. Unfortunately, nothing about these two lunch specials were special.

Don’t ask people to make reservations if you’re not going to accommodate them at that time. Ridiculous how it’s almost been an hour and still haven’t received a text.

It had been a while since I had visited, but I was looking forward to it; and what I got was over-fried wantons, and lettuce wrap filling that tasted days old. I was going to order an entree, but decided against it based on what I had already eaten. I had great service, but I can't say that I'll be back ...

Completely overpriced, i been there 3 times in the last 10 years and every time is the same, floors are disgusting very sticky, restrooms diry, the food doesn’t even taste close to authentic, is so processed. The whole experience (our waitress was very nice) is not worth the price.

Very disappointed on my first and last visit to this restaurant. The service was good and so was the dumpling sauce…and that was it. The lo mein had no flavor, the Kung pao chicken was not spicy and kind of salty and had too much sauce. The glass iced water tasted pretty bad too; seems like it came out of a faucet in the wash room. Some pieces in my wife’s Mongolian beef were cooked medium rare. Panda’s Chinese is way much better and less than half the price. PF Chang’s food quality is “no bueno”.

Food was pretty good but hated seeing this older man with a man bun being so rude to this young girl at the bar always enjoyed the food but because of this experience I don’t think I can return just imagine how that man treats other wait staff /coworkers that’s ridiculous and uncalled for behavior

Got seated right away, sat for more than 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging we were there. I flagged down the manager to ask for help. The wine glasses on the table were beyond filthy. The place really needs an upgrade. Too many red flags 🚩 for an even worse bad experience. Counted as a loss and left to another restaurant.

I came for mine and my grandmother’s birthday. Our server was named Lauren and it was honestly one of the worst eating out experiences I’ve had in a very long time. She was super short. Cut off. Disrespectful. Not happy at all. Didn’t come to check on us once. And then immediately brings the check and tried to get rid of us once we’re finished with our food while we were planning to get some cake for our birthdays. Then tells us the presented cakes out front were whole cakes and not slices and to order off the regular dessert menue. So we reorder different things and my dessert comes out frozen in the middle. 70% of the small round cake was frozen. And when I had brought it to her attention, my grandma asked for a knife for me and she just gives me the knife without caring my cake slice was half frozen. Was an awful experience. Will not be coming back here.

Not busy, but loud... The waiter was a real piece of work. He bragged he worked there because of the higher average per seat cost than other restaurants. Then he set in to overcharge us at every turn. My wife and I each wanted a spring roll with our lunch special, but we also wanted rice. He told me the rolls are sold in pairs... two for $3.99 I think. Instead he charged us $5.99 each for rice, no charge for spring rolls. Look at the picture of my plate. The menu showed the firecracker shrimp and rice covering the plate and the shrimp were two shrimp high wall of shrimp I counted 10-12 pieces of shrimp in the picture. The waiter said he would make it up to me, brought 5 more shrimp... then charged me an additional $5 to give me less than the picture anyway. The picture of shrimp showed small shrimp, no big deal but giving me 1/2 what was pictured and charging an additional $5, no bueno. My firecracker shrimp ended up costing $18.99. My family and I have eaten at PF Changs many times nationwide. This restaurant should have its franchise license pulled.

The house salad dressing tasted like lime and it was awful. The veggie rolls sauce was not good, and the PF Chang’s spicy chicken was not spicy at all. The best was the fortune cookies. I paid $61.00 for two persons. I don’t mind, but the food was not good. I used to enjoyed coming here because the food was great. What happened?

Honestly, this place ranks among the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food quality was worse than frozen meals from the grocery store, which actually taste better than what was served here. The egg rolls were cold in the center, suggesting they were frozen and not heated to a proper temperature. When we sent them back, the replacements were only slightly warmer, even though the restaurant was only a quarter full. The main entrée was almost inedible, with poor-quality ingredients and undercooked vegetables that made it hard to enjoy. The only decent item was the egg drop soup if that. Even Panda Express as a fast food option offers better food and consistency. After visiting for the first time, I honestly cannot understand why this place is ever busy. It was definitely not worth the money or the time.
