This Regios is always on point. Fresh amazing half chicken and yes the wonderful green sauce. Recently changed their red salsa and it is so much better than the previous. Two great salsas now.

I have posted about other Pollo Regio locations and I always have a positive experience. Their food is always excellent and the service is always friendly. HOWEVER, I went to the Mckinney location for the first time today and I have to say that I was so pleasantly surprised that their service was a step above the ALREADY great service I've gotten at the other locations. Claudia made sure to accommodate a special request I had and my order was ready in minutes (very few at that). Everyone had a smile and seemed to enjoy the job they were doing and where they were. Such a joy. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Pollo Regio for always giving such great food and such great employees that enjoy their job.

I’ve been coming here for my cheat day for the past year and I gotta say, everything is delicious. From the chicken to the tacos, it’s all delicious. If you go through the drive through and get a guy named Fernando - you know you’re going to be taken care of. If you want to know what Fernando looks like, he’s the one that looks like a super model and has the perfect radio voice.

Amazing food like always, I really like enjoying this fresh food. It's on my way from my work to my job so it's a perfect spot to get to go fresh whole chicken. The drive-thru girl is always really kind with a nice smile everybody is there is very polite. I will keep on coming back for a very long time.

Pollo Regio never dissapoints. I always get the 4 piece combo. The grilled chicken is flavorful and delicious, tortillas are nice, and the grilled onion gives it that extra something special. The salsa verde and salsa habanero are also delicious and properly spicy.

I have ate at this chain before and thought the food was really good. I’m in town on business and wanted to try the restaurant here. The parking lot was packed and it was standing room only inside. I ordered chicken tacos to go, because there was no where to sit. The salsa bar offers mild to hot to very hot salsas. Of course I got the hot salsa. It took about 5-7 minutes and my food was ready. They provided limes, grilled and chopped onions. These are some of the best tacos I have ever had! Super delicious, full of flavor and authentic as it gets. There is also a drive-through if you want to grab your food and go. I will be returning for more soon. I highly recommend this place if you love authentic Mexican food.

1st time visiting a Pollo Regio. Best chicken soup I've eaten in years. Paired it with a side of charro beans, which were also very good. Definitely going back again.

Claudia took my order and was extremely helpful! I placed a large, somewhat complicated order for ~10 people and she didn't miss a thing. This pollo asado is excellent and one of my favorite places to visit. My only issue is that their online order system was broken and they don't allow you to call ahead to order. That should change because placing large orders in person is a hassle for everyone (restaurant staff and customers).

Try the carne asada tacos as well; we tried them for the first time last week and they are truly delicious I do have to say, the reason I wouldn’t give it a 5 star rating on food is because we’ve been customers long enough to notice the rice and beans deteriorate in quality. The last 5-10 times we’ve been to pollo regio we’ve noticed the rice is extremely sticky and beans are bland. Other than that we will keep coming back and hoping the sides get better. I’m African-American. I went into get some chicken yesterday and I stood there and the girl that took my order was doing something else and so the other girl made my order and then the girl that took my order came back and took the food out of the bag and put something else in it, and when I got home, the chicken was old and dry. The tortillas were old and stuffed together Like crackers. I love eating that Pollo Rego, it’s a damn shame that they want to give me some old chicken instead of giving me the fresh stuff

Well, I have never been to polio Reggio, and I decided today at the church was going to be the day that I will try them. And I have my taste but sit on them, but when I pulled up to the drive-through after almost 5 minutes, no one came to the speaker. I said hello and excuse me a few times, and still no response, so I drove off. I definitely won’t go out of my way to try to come to this location again. I was just trying to get a quick bite after church and before work. Highly disappointed.

Chicken was raw not fully cooked. Then; the worst part is that most the hot sauces were bad. Look at the picture the meat does not come off of the bone. Especially their green sauce that typically is very good. (It’s the only reason I eat the chicken here) I told the lady and she changed them out. But the one she put out is bitter about to go bad too. Lol. This location is by far the worst. The best one is on Lake June in Dallas.

As a business owner I usually NEVER write a bad review on a business as I know the struggles ….. however in this case I must….. we pulled on the drive through. Order the chicken pay for it and we’re told it would be 10 minutes. We were told that at 4:57 pm. We got our order at 5:40 pm that is 43 minutes later and we did mint get our order right. 2 extra items that we payed for more were not included in the package. Very disappointed with their service!!

Went through the drive thru, and waited about 30 min to even get up to the pay window. There was only 2 cars in front of me. Came home, and the torta had bare minimum meat. Was going to let it go, but then when we went to eat the quesadillas we kept biting into small bones that we had to spit out. So we just ended up not even trying to eat the rest.

Pregnancy cravings hit and I came to this location and ordered 2 baked potatoes with barbacoa for me and hubby, when we got home ready to dig in the potatoes were still raw. Mind you I live in Princeton so going back for a refund wasn’t an option. Not to mention they shorted us on 2 order’s of rice. What a waste of 30$ never coming here ever again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to come either. First time eating out in a long time and I was reminded why I usually cook dinner.

I ordered the half chicken with the two sides and I got fries as one of the sides and they were cold, and stale, and hard, they were pretty gross, I wouldn’t get the fries.

Pollo regio is getting ridiculous with their prices. I understand prices have gone up, but it is ridiculous that they are charging an extra $1.50 for asada and plus so little meat and charging a lot. They are ripping you off, basically stealing your money and giving you nothing. Customer service is pretty good. The rest is a disappointment.

I've been to this place once to dine in and NEVERRRRR again. Recently I went there to pick up a doordash order twice and the manager or whomever she was seems like she does not like BLACK PEOPLE or such because each time I went there to pick up an order to doordash, she always has this crazy disgusted look on her face when speaking to her and she will just stare at you the whole time thinking you don't notice that she's looking at you. I've been doing doordash for a few years and I know how things supposed to go and when u pick up an order, she wants you to write your can on the receipt and to confirm the order right in front of her on your phone as if you will steal the person food and then she will make sure that u confirm it but what's crazy is that anybody else that's NOT BLACK goes there to pick up an order, she doesn't do that to them. The next time she tries that again, I just might have to pop her face across the counter.

If you run out of chicken and it's going to take 40 min to fulfill an order you let the people know beforehand at the drive thru . Not let them wait for 40 min and counting infront of your store without an explanation. Worst Pollo Regio I've ever been to and I love this place. Finally got our food and it's good like always.

I regret ever coming here. We spent $50 and the food was an absolute disappointment. The chicken was dry, burnt, and had no seasoning at all — it honestly tasted like it had been sitting out too long or cooked with no care. For a place that’s supposed to be known for flavorful grilled chicken, this was the complete opposite. The staff themselves were okay, but decent service doesn’t make up for terrible food. When you spend that much money, you expect at least something edible and enjoyable, but this was a waste. We left hungry, frustrated, and wishing we had gone literally anywhere else. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was such a bad experience that I felt like people should know before wasting their money like we did. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Today I went inside and same thing, an employee that was on brake came to help, the guy in charge was just standing doing nothing. Why change something that was doing great , don't get that at all. I’m so disappointed I’ve been a loyal cost to Pollo Regio today I got a coupon code on my app. I was super excited to stop after work and pick up some food for me and my children and my husband upon doing so my app glitched the cashier saw the app and told me to re-download it, so I did, I even showed her the email I stepped to one side and told her to take care of the customers and she kept exiling rolling her eyes and asking me if there was anything else I was going to order. I told her kindly to be patient and I tried to download re-download the app she was so condescending I felt so embarrassed. I told her to go ahead and place the order without the coupon again she said ok and was laughing and joking with her coworkers, not paying attention to me or Trying to be helpful when I went to get a bag of chips for my order she told me that I had to buy them. I didn’t understand why because I had ordered so much food and I saw all the customers getting the bags and was told they were complementary. The other lady said that they were complementary which I know is true because I’ve dined here many many times, she kept laughing and joking and pointing I felt so uncomfortable I just grab my food and I left. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but this is so uncalled, I doubt will ever be back to this establishment again. Nayeli was sooo rude!!! And I saw on my recite she charged me 1.50 also!! Wow … tip: if your having a bad day please leave the bad energy at home! You ruined our dinning experience

Update *** decided to give them another chance on 02/27/25 and I regret it so much. Ordered at the drive through and repeated my order twice. The worker taking my order even repeated it back to me and fter waiting for about 25 minutes for my food I get it and drive off. I stopped for gas and while I waited I decided to check my food and guess what? It was wrong!!!! The receipt showed exactly what I ordered but it was WRONG! So I went back and had to wait about 5 minutes to get taken care of and they then had to remake my order and wait another 20 minutes again. Let's just say this place is a huge disappointment and there goes an entire lunch break wasted waiting for food. I will never come back to this location again. If I could give yall a 0 I would do it in a heart beat!
