Cute "off the beaten path" foodie restaraunt, all natural ingredients (great for Keto and other "Diet-ers" too). Had the Northern Caribbean Salad, Tuna was seared to perfection! Great taste, ingredients grown right in front of you! Love you can shell and eat pecans while you wait! ❤

*EDITED to FIVE stars My sandwich was a wrap and I would never order it another way after having it. Even the ketchup for the sweet potato fries is smoked. (Comes with bun version - separate with wrap) GO TRY THIS PLACE Was looking for a fast food alternative for lunch during my work day. This place has such potential once they've reached their full vision! As it is now, the menu is small but creative and interesting and the atmosphere (currently only outside seating while they update the interior) features a lush vegetable garden and a gravel yard with tables and umbrellas and string lights. Already kicking Sunday's butt for experience. I've got a pulled pork bbq sandwich as a wrap with BLACKBERRY bbq sauce I'm excited to try. But be patient with the setup and try out here and support these locals so Gueros Backyard can reach it's TRUE vision.

I love Guero's Backyard. It is one of the very few places in town that you can get delicious, fresh, healthy and a different style of food. I have tried almost everything on the menu from the purple pig sandwich to the sashimi grade ahi tuna tacos and I have never been disappointed. Guero's is also the perfect place to eat at if you want to sit outdoors. We eat there at the least, once a week. It makes me feel healthier when I leave lol.

Best tasting lunch you will get anywhere. Top tier food. Don't be confused by the appearance, just hop around back and take a look at the menu. You will not be disappointed

Perfect! The Chicken Piccata is our favorite. Cooked to perfection with a lovely beurre blanc sauce. The salad dressing was to die for. We are so lucky to have such a talented chef here in Seguin, there is no one who can compare. Thank you!

We tried Guero's/Private Chef Craig O last night for the first time and just LOVED our food. It was so easy to order, pick-up, and clean up. We had the trout with shrimp & rice. When we opened the warm meal, there was a wonderful surprise of asparagus that we didn't expect. YUMM! The wine sauce was soooo good and the trout was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to try more meals here.

Best Chicken Parm and Ribeye steak Ive ever had. They even have gourmet hot dogs that kick Nathans out the park. Homemade cooking from an actual home is impossible to beat. Give them a shout to have your dinner prepared once twice or seven times a week.

Fresh salad for me and delicious taco for my husband. We stopped there while passing through Seguin. Would definitely recommend and will go back! It is only outdoor seating so I would only recommend going on a nice sunny day. It was almost too cold for us to sit outside today, but being in the sunshine helped. Components of the salad are grown in the backyard seating area. So neat!

Stopped on the way to Seaworld with the fam. Pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service and really good food! I had the purple pig taco and it was good and filling. Kids liked it too. Don’t let the look steer you away. It was worth the stop.

Wonderful eatery! We stopped on the way home from San Antonio. I had the Purple Pig Tacos and they were superb! Many of offerings sounded great. Definitely a place to try!

The food here is so fresh and full of flavor! True unique dishes! We loved sitting in the garden to eat! Next time we are in the area, we will make it a point to come back! Highly recommended!

Amazing food, and such a broad array shown in the menu. This is my second time trying the food, the first was large office order and had samplings of almost all the appetizers, being that almost everything is made from scratch - down to the ketchup, sometimes they do run out of items. Everything was amazing, but today trying the Prime Rib sandwich, with sweet potato fries really helped me appreciate the food all the more. Cant wait to complete my tour of the menu.

Unable to do a proper review. Place was closed due to catering job they where doing. Which is fine, but let potential customers know about it. No sign on the door to indicate this. Double checked their Facebook page incase I missed something, no indication of it. Look forward to giving a proper review next time I'm in town and they are open.

Not seeing any way to get in (or instructions/directions to wait, etc.), I called the nuber posted here: disconnected/out of service. I called the (different) number on the sign posted, went to voicemail. For those of you that order over the phone: how/what number do you use? Because none I can see are working. I'd love to give the food a chance, but I'm not driving an hour for the place to -maybe- be open and not answer any phone calls.
