I can't understand the negative reviews. Yes this place is busy but that's because it is the best fast food spot around. I have a sensitive stomach and generally can't eat fast food but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the burger. And the fries were hot and salty yum!! First time having a blizzard and now I am hooked.... omg strawberry cheesecake! We ordered and sat in the restaurant. I was impressed the the cleanliness and level of service considering how busy they were. This is a brand new store that is learning how to work as a team and will iron out the kinks. It is refreshing to have a local business with so much passion and heart.

Our overall experience was great! The food was good, the service was great. Unfortunately my fiancé and I had a flat tire when we came out and it looked like foul play. The manager was super great! She brought out ice cream for us while we waiting for a tow truck! She did not have to do that by any means. Her kindness definitely helped us make life of the situation. She now has 2 customers for life!!!

It is very delicious food and Its fresh. one thing I really liked about this place the owner was very caring and nice also she was doing an interview with each member of her employees. she knew each one of their names and knew what there job was she made it very clear to them she noticed the other things that they did besides their job. And her questions were caring questions they all seem very happy answered her questions very well very impressed. I hope all owners do that and I hope she keeps it up. But any I Will come back I really liked my burger. :)

Went here the other night. I got a blizzard and it was great! What was even more impressive was the staff. There was a lady in front of me at the drive thru I was able to hear rudely addressing the staff because of missed bacon on a previous order. They offered to make it right by giving the items missed for free as well as additional items. The lady ordered a bunch more items and expected everything. No matter how rude and argumentative she got the man that dealt w the order and the lady at the woman ( I think she was the owner) did not lose her cool. She went above and beyond. High class staff and a great product. Glad to have them in the neighborhood

Absolutely amazing ice cream, they indefinitely live up to their standard of high quality ice cream. Nothing over extravagant just plain and simple GREAT ice cream. Their burgers are good as well, I personally respect how they use simple ingredients to make good food They do live up to the slogan of " It's not fast food, its fan food."

I love DQ. I've been to several, this one has incredibly nice staff. Everyone is so accommodating. The food was perfect. And of course my blizzard was fabulously turned upside down. I just love everything about it. It was also quite clean.

I grew up on DQ food and desserts. Was excited to see this new establishment so close to home. Still love the food and their triple chocolate brownie.

On our way home from dinner my wife spotted this Dairy Queen on Route 112 so I told her the ice cream's great we used to get these on our road trips when I was a kid. After treating me to dinner for our unofficial anniversary (yes, I went Dutch and there was a mix-up with the table reservation) I got her a Banana Split Sundae, an Oreo brownie sundae for my 4 year old, and a peanut fudge sundae for myself. We sat in the parking lot and enjoyed the night away as if we were on our way back from a long drive to the east and back!

I go here for the Blizzards. The fries are ok but the pretzel sticks are awesome. The staff is always friendly and despite long lines, very quick. I love that they have snack sized blizzards so i can get my fix without having to do an iron man competition to burn it off. Just a half marathon;-)

Probably the nicest interior of a fast good restaurant that I've been to, extremely clean. Service was great, they brought my order to the table almost immediately after ordering. Food was good enough, can't beat the $5 lunch combo with an ice cream.

Food here is always great. The restaurant is always clean. And of course the ice cream is always tasty. And watching them flip the cup upside down and nothing falls out never gets old

Very good lunch specials. You can't go wrong when you get a barbeque bacon burger, fries, a drink, and ice cream sundae for $5! The food actually tastes good too. I have had their Blizzards which are vanilla soft ice cream mixed with all kinds of different toppings. Some I tried were just average while others were really good. I recommend the raspberry Godiva chocolate Blizzard. They are usually very busy but they woke fast and you don't have to wait too long. I always go in and don't use the drive through.

It is about a 20-minute drive from my home to this DQ, but I'm so glad I made the trip. When ordering at the drive-thru around 9PM, the staff member at the window was so friendly and patient and told me it was ok to take extra time to decide what to order (there was no one on line behind me at the time, but they still didn't make me feel rushed). They took my name for the order, and every staff member I interacted with from the order speaker to the window communicated with me by name. They did the signature "flip" to show me that the Blizzard doesn't come out of the cup when turned upside-down (which was amusing) and then not only asked if I wanted lids, but also marked the bottom of each Blizzard with an identifier of what flavor it was so that they could be quickly and easily dispersed to my family members when I got home. Not only were they nice, but the service was super quick! This was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had in the food/dining industry. The staff here is top-notch. I'll certainly recommend this DQ and will definitely be going back.

Awesome..first off their burgers are always hot. The food is great. And even though sometimes when you pull up the line may seem long ..but they move pretty darn fast.. Wayyy faster than any other fast food I been to, never waited more than 10 mins to order and thats with me at the end of the parking kot waiting on line. And they always get the order correct. Consistency in great service, food prep and great tasting food is key and very hard to find. Everything is always oacked neatly and spill free. In my top ten of great places with great service. And that flameburger is amazing. A+

DQ has great staff. Starting with Debbie the manager. Debbie is very friendly and accommodating. She's super patient and makes sure that you have the best experience. 😊 I also LOVE the Rotisserie Chicken Salad. It's so healthy and fresh!!! Do yourself a favor and TRY IT! 😋

Went to this Dairy Queen for the first time and my experience was excellent and food was delicious and my server Kathleen was so kind.

The owner and staff are super friendly and uber helpful. This coupled with good food and ice cream, just the perfect ending to a long day.

I only use the drive thru but they're always quick and friendly. Orders are always correct. The only problem I've encountered is that more than once the person taking my money has no clue how to give the correct change. They've actually asked me what I'm supposed to get back. Other than that my experiences have been very positive.

I ordered takeout of the wild alaskan fish sandwich, and I was happy with it. The fish fillet was bigger than the bun, so the portion size was good and large. If you scan the app when you make a purchase, you get points you can redeem for free items such as fries, chicken strips, Blizzard treat, etc. There are also limited deals that show coupon codes for something off the order, but these are limited compared to deals on other similar fast food apps. However, the point rewards system is awesome.

Nice clean family friendly establishment, it has your assortment of fast food choices, which are pretty good, the ice cream is really good too. Service is fast, and friendly. If I have one complaint is that the building is on the small side, so if you do go there during lunch hours and you would like to dine in, finding a seat could be a problem.

First time there was awesome. The Blizzards were yummy, the sandwiches were delicious, and they have really good convenient ways to take ice cream home. Highly recommend this for Blizzards.

I found a young, pretty caring African American who explained well and served me with respect and dignity. Food was so delicious. I was so happy. I love it I got a salad today for the 1st time and I must say for a fast food restaurant well done the salad was crisp grill chicken was juicy. Busy. Needed a cake. They had a few good choices where other ice cream places had cakes that looked old and almost all 1 flavors DQ had different flavors and was an easy in and out to get what we needed.

I'm disappointed that the Orange Julius line was discontinued for standard smoothie flavors I could get anywhere else that sells smoothies. Great shakes and Blizzards, though, and the burgers are good. I tried the cinnamon roll shake this time. Highly recommend.

Its good but I wish the inside was open like 90% of the rest of the fast food industry has it. PLUS they don't accept DQ gift cards as a firm of payment if you do pick up option through the app which I wanted to use last week. Other than these 2 issues DQ is very good!!

Their ice cream, blizzards, shakes and frozen treats are second to none, they are absolutely delicious. They also have decent chicken and fries there as well. One complaint I will give though is about the burgers. I've tasted lots of burgers but Dairy Queens have to be the most bland and tasteless burgers I've ever had. All in all, great place for ice cream, but don't go there for dinner or lunch. If you have to then get the chicken n fries.

You can never go wrong with a Blizzard but they offer a wide variety of frozen treats. I go there primarily for the ice cream though they offer a fast food menu as well. One unique side menu item is fried cheese curds. It's basically small odd shaped mozzarella nuggets but more buttery and flour coated rather than Panko crumbs. Can get crowded a peak times so plan wisely.

The ice cream is good haven't tried any of the food but there was one issue with the blizzard my husband ordered. They didn't add any brownie pieces like requested. Still an overall decent visit.

My first experience at DQ was alright. My family and I enjoyed the ice cream. The food was pretty basic. Nothing special about what they serve but its not a bad place to stop for a quick bite and some delicious ice creams.

Like a little kid I just can't resist asking to stop the car for a dairy Queen even when I don't want ice cream! So I got a kids meal and have to say that the chicken was fried spectacularly got a nice healthy banana on the side skip the Cherry coated bomb try the chocolate one the Cherry kind of tastes like Robitussin but I kind of knew that before I ordered it I was being hopeful..lol

Staff are always sweet! Finally had a burger, at it is ranked in the top three. I love the variety of blizzards. Our kids love coming here for a treat.

I was pleasantly surprised, the food was really good. Better than other fast foods - though still fast food so keep that in mind. One star off cause our table could have been cleaner, but it was packed and someone just got up for us to be able to sit. They are new, so I hope the food continues to be good going forward.

They are very quick and courteous here. Never had any problems and I love to come here for their blizzards! A must try! They serve you at your table and that is a plus for a fast food restaurant. They will also come outside to find you and clear some mess off your table as you proceed. Overall enjoyable experience, especially for their blizzard!

The double cheeseburger meal is better than Burger King's. More importantly, Deanna treated me like she's known me many years. She was friendly, knowlegeable, and highly personable. She's an asset to DQ and I wouldn't be surprised if guests come back just for her. I know I will. -R.P.

Have not been to D.Q. In a very long time. Took my daughter there for a different place to eat. She loved it. Food was very good for “fast food”. We both had chicken tenders with fries. Only complaint, the dining area was filthy. Had to clean the table we sat at, as our food was being served. Great experience over all and all. It put a smile on my daughter’s face, made me fell good. Both with a full stomach.

This location is actually one of the best ones on Long Island, the food actually comes out hot fresh and good. However, I only give it 2 stars due too the odd staff/management issues I see every visit. I do not know whom it is, but one of the female manager in the establishment is very rude to the employees, when she's mad, you know it by embarrassingly yelling at them in front of customers. Not only is it a turn off to the employees but a turn of to the guests at a family friendly location. However, you don't have to worry about the drama because according to the store manager or owner you can't eat inside anymore because of a sign on the door saying some customers are "incompetent"

It was good.. there was a lot of people but the service was kind of slow.. and once i finally got my food, the French fries were hard and cold .. and they’re very very cheap with their ice cream toppings but when you ask for extra they charge you .25 cents and still looks like it did before you paid for extra.. they really need to fix that.. but their ice cream is really good !!! Second visit. It was pretty busy, but not a long wait to place our order. We grabbed a table and waited. Slight wait, was a little surprised they brought out our dessert before our food. I had chicken ranch sandwich. It was juicy, but honestly still prefer BK original chicken sandwich over this. I had Fudge filled cookie. I enjoyed it.

I'm going to give this review three stars right now and that's because I'm familiar with Dairy Queen on Long Island but not because of this particular Dairy Queen in Medford. The reason I say that is this place was so crowded because it had just open it was hard to get serviced properly at the counter. I knew they were going through a growing phase and certainly in time I'm sure everything will settle and they will do just fine I'll come back to this review again after I revisit the establishment but I'm sure it will be fine.

I’m pretty sure it was Gabriel I was speaking to and he says it’s 6.15. I pull up to the window after what seems 5 minutes and the girl at the register literally says “it’s 7.30” not even a hello. I’m looking at her confused cause I was told a different price & her stank attitude shocked me. but I give her the money to realize I didn’t give her the coupon. So I tell her that and she says she can’t do anything about it because she already put it in. So I’m not the type of person to complain but I did for tonight because if it said 6.15 and I pull up to the window you should say “hey can I see the coupon”, not “it’s 7.30”. Food is great but this girl needs to work on her customer service skills. Thanks to Gabriel for fixing the problem.

I went to the drive thru earlier today, & got the dynamite burger, and I asked for an extra side of the sauce that comes on it (I wanted to dip the pretzels I got in it) and they said they can’t do that. Found that strange considering every other fast food place does that. Also, who puts the sauce on the top bun, and then the lettuce?? My first bite the whole sandwhich fell apart. Interesting place, probably won’t go back though.

I love DQ milkshakes; however, I ordered a medium vanilla milkshake, took one sip and got a mouthful of air. I took another sip and as the milkshake began to settle I realized the cup was filled with foam and not much else. I am annoyed and very disappointed! Do better DQ.

I was so excited when they opened this D.Q. But the staff and management of this place is lousy. Everyone is confused...the 16 year olds who just got their working cards are too busy turning serving trays and doing tricks. The ice cream is handled without gloves. Its only good for ice cream. Id never eat here.

Went to the drive thru so I wouldn't have to get out of the car. Fortunately, I checked my order and was missing an item. I parked out front and went in and got the missing item. Then on my way out, I realized that they didn't give me the sauce for that item. So on my trip to the drive thru, I had to go inside twice to get my complete order. This was my first and last visit to this location.

French fries boring and tasted like old oil. Fried Chicken sandwich tasteless, burgers were tasty. Desserts tasted like a mix gone wrong. Soda machine drinks watered down. Very disappointing meal and tables were all dirty. If the front is dirty can not imagine the back. Will Never go there again.

I went back today after going for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I liked the first visit because we were in and out in 10 minutes (during a busy time; around 6:00). But this second visit was not as good. Came in and paid at 7:45, got our ice cream in about 5 minutes but it took almost a half hour of waiting for our food. We ordered the hot wings (4 pc) the meal basket. Thankfully someone on the staff realized we were waiting for that long and came over and got us our food. Unfortunately when we left, the ice cream was pretty melted and it ended up mostly on my girlfriend and my car on the way home. The food was okay but the amount of fries was pretty small for a medium meal (looked like it was thrown together because they forgot to make it), and the Texas toast was mostly bread and butter. I don’t expect it to be perfect, but was really let down after a good first impression.

In their defense, I think maybe I was TOO excited to eat at Dairy Queen, as I haven't been to one in many years. I'm not sure if it's always been so underwhelming, or if I've just lost my childlike sense of wonder--but whatever the reason, my DQ days are behind me. The burger I got was gross, the soda was watered down, and I guess there was a sauce ration going on because it was battle to get an adequate amount of much needed sauce. If you can make it to the Taco Bell or McDonald's, go their instead. If you're craving a Blizzard, there's a Ralph's not too far away.

Definitely my go-to DQ. Food is always fresh and tasty; employees are always nice. However, there is this one young woman, who I believe is the manager. She has blackish-brownish hair, definitely on the younger side. She is EXTREMELY nasty to the employees, who are already under pressure. Not sure if it's an "over-power" type feeling, but she was rude to the employees. Constructive criticism is one thing, especially in a fast food business, but belittling your employees and trying to argue with them because they made a mistake is another thing. These employees are top notch, and work their hardest and their most best, especially in a Friday evening rush. They way she spoke to them was completely uncalled for. I believe she has to be spoken to, maybe to "tone it down" a little. I know being in the food business is stressful, especially as a manager, but you DO NOT have to take it out on the employees. They're the backbones of the establishment. Show them some respect.

First off it's annoying online you can't edit drinks. It only gives three choices. They forgot one of my 4 chicken tender boxes I go back in and get pretty much accused of lying and told to bring back in the two bags. So I go back out rip boxes from my kids and husband that were eating to prove what I in fact said was true the did not put it in bag. Not to mention I had two drink trays and 2 food bags they could not give large bag to put food so it was easier to carry out!!!Ridiculous I won't be back

Never had dairy queen before. This was my first, and definitely last visit. Everyone in my party got food poisoning. When we called to advise management, I was told "well we didn't get any other complaints"

Terrible customer service- they messed up my order and gave me one set of pretzel sticks instead of two. I went back in the drive thru line and waited 20 minutes on it because the restaurant portion is closed due to covid. By this point my kids were screaming so much I just split the one order between the two of them. I finally get to the window and let them know they forgot one order- they ask for my receipt. I give it to them. Then they asked to see the bag- I hand them the now empty bag. They said both orders were put in the bag- I told them there were only three pretzels so that is one order. They just stared at me. I said, “who in their right mind would wait in line for 20 minutes for pretzels?” My three year old was hysterically crying at this point so I just said forget it and drove off. I will never go there again. So rude.

Besides the 6 poorly made hamburgers they have on their menus...which by the way if you go to an actual Dairy Queen is pretty embarrassing. Their gravy is legit milk with gravy powder....disgusting and poorly made. They need to shut down for a day and either properly train employees how to make food or revamp their menu.....don't waste your money on the food and just get ice cream.

Took my son for lunch yesterday and it was a terrible experience. Tables inside are barely big enough for children (I am 6'1" average build and could barely squeeze in). Soda machines were disgusting and obviously had not been cleaned in some time (soda tasted off as well). Floor was incredibly slippery. Service was poor as everyone seemed miserable to be there and it showed with the quality of our food. Food quality was not great either. I have been to other DQs in the US and this was by far the worst.

This location sucks. They handed me two melted bliizzards and when I asked them I wanted them to remake it or give me my money back, they said I needed to call my bank and that there was nothing they could do.

Unfortunately this location does NOT take any coupons. It doesn't matter if it's in separate orders, separate people, a group of people... They don't take ANY coupons. Shirley does. If you want to use a coupon then you'll need to go there. One star. *I am unsure if you can use their coupons in their app but so far absolutely no physical coupons or codes at this location.

Not very hospital or friendly. Workers told me to be quiet at the table. Likee, this is a fast food establishment there’s gonna be some noise. They also rushed my friend when she was ordering. Also chairs were gross we had to wipe them. Good fries tho but paying extra for more than one sauce is wild to me.

The lady who helped me was so rude and I thought she literally wanted to hit me, I ordered a shake and then I wanted to change and she immediately said that it was made I don’t know about you, but they don’t have shakes pre made. Then she was slamming the window back-and-forth aggressively which I really don’t appreciate. this was the location for Medford in New York. Don’t go here unless you wanna be yelled at.-Benjamin Defranco

I would give 0 stars if I could. I spent $74 on a large drive through order on free cone day. When I got to the window. I was told I can not add my free cone to my order at the window and I would have to drive back around. Now as you can imagine it was packed… so I had to wait 20 minutes just for 2 free ice cream cones! Drive through person said it’s not her problem, she just works here. Probably will take my money to Shirley location next time!!

When I came home from picking up food at this dairy queen, look at what they served me. Absolutely ridiculous!

If I could give zero stars I would I can say I’m more upset than angry with the way me and my disabled clients were treated. The staff and owner were so rude to us until they saw the different abilities the fact that they thought It was ok to treat us with no respect until they saw the different abilities has me livid we felt discriminated against and disrespected we were just trying to have a nice lunch you tried to make up for it but the damage was done I hope this a lesson to the owner patty and the staff have kinder eyes next time and don’t judge everything you see at first glance. Do better next time
