It took a little time for this location to iron out some kinks when first opening (understandable), but with that being said, We love our Melissa Marco's! We have yet to receive a bad order. The pizza is always hot and fresh. I do wish they offered an option for fresh mushrooms instead of only canned. The wait time for pickups could be somewhat better, but so far the quality of food we have always gotten trumps the little extra time spent having to wait for pickup. We have placed multiple orders at our Marco's, and have no plans of going anywhere else for pizza. Keep up the great work, Marco's! :)

Update: Things have definitely improved since my first review a year ago. We get pizza from Marcos a lot now and don't have the garlic problem anymore. It's delicious! The crust is great but we've tried 4 different flavors of pizza and they've all had to much garlic. I hear it's under new management so we will keep trying and I guess start requesting no garlic. I just hate altering specialty pizzas since someone put thought into them enough to put them on the menu. Everything about Marcos has been great.

This place is AMAZING! The food is exceptional! Staff is always friendly and courteous. You won’t regret it. We have never been disappointed! hot, fresh and delicious! The crust is the best. Never too thick or too thin! Perfect!

We order take out on the Marco’s app a few times a month. It is always great. Today I got a free pizza but I didn’t understand the coupon so I went in the store to order and the employee that helped me was so kind and helpful!

We just moved to Melissa and were told we had to try Marco’s pizza. Had it for the first time last week for the cowboys game and by far the best pizza I’ve ever had! I mean thick crust, hot, & cheesy!! I mean come on, so delicious! We will definitely be back since we’re down the street! Thank you Marcos pizza for the experience!

Nobody is going to believe this review, because they will all expect the other pizza places in Melissa to be better—bigger names, better advertising, and so on. We have been to just about every pizza place in Melissa, (including the expensive flatbread place), several of the closer places in McKinney, and one or two in Anna. Marcos is THE place for pizza in Melissa. At least for our family. Maybe for yours, too. Toppings taste great, sauce is great, and the pizza is the right amount of crispy, never soggy. It’s my template ideal of what a traditional pizza should taste like! My husband reports that people inside the store were friendly and professional, and the place looked clean.

Husband wanted to try Marcos, and we decided to order take out since most negative reviews addressed delivery issues. Ordered the vegetarian, a pepperoni, wings and cinnamon bites for dessert. We LOVED everything! The best vegetarian pizza I've had. I eat pizza a few times a year, and the last Pizza Hut vegetarian pizza I had back in April was awful. This Marcos veggie pizza was delicious because the abundant toppings were fresh and the crust delicious. Husband was very happy with tasty buffalo wings. We both loved the cinnamon bites! My next cheat meal will be a veggie pizza pizza from Marcos!

This place had the best traditional pizza with a LOT of toppings. The workers made sure my pizza was correct before letting me leave, and they always ask if I was Parmesan or red pepper. They also always try to help me out with the best deals! Such as BOGO Tuesdays!!!! And lastly I have delivered once and the driver was supper fast! I would definitely reconmend!

Marcos is the best of the “fast food” pizza chains. I’ve had my share of all of them. Marcos has the best crust, sauce, and toppings. This pizza was hot, the sauce had enough spice, and the sausage was nice and chunky. The crust was crisp and not soggy. I’d take Marcos 10 times outa 10 over Dominoes or Papa John’s. This location was easy enough to get in and out of. The Melissa location is better than the locations in McKinney.

Food has been good but the last couple of times we've ordered delivery it was completed 30+ minutes before delivery and arrives cold. Turns out they're having to use DoorDash for their deliveries and DoorDash isn't doing a great job of communicating when they'll have a driver in their area. This location has great customer service and are being hamstrung by using a bad 3rd Party.

We ordered our pizza at 5:30pm and was told it would be about an hour. After waiting till 6:50pm we called and was told that it was on the way. 7:15pm I went ahead and fed my daughter and called again at 7:25pm. I was told that the driver was 6 minutes away when we live 2 min away and asked for the manager. We were told to call back in about 30min and told the person on the phone that they can take the pizza back and we were going to eat or she can leave it at no charge. The person said that it would be free which was nice but after two hours and being frustrated and hungry AF the driver arrived. I asked the driver if this was a common occurrence since the google reviews seem to show that it was and she said they were super busy. If that’s the case simply let the customer know that and give a realistic timeframe or ask if pick up would be okay with such a long wait. I would rather pick up or just order from somewhere else at that point. The communication would help alleviate the issues but the customer service and timeline given needs help at this location. Pizza is hit or miss, one was phenomenal, one was cold and not much on it and the last was warm but good.

Pizza is actually good. Big slices, lots of flavor, hot and fresh. We ordered on a night coming off a winter storm warning and they were SLAMMED. Staff was very overwhelmed and ended up waiting an additional 45min for pizza after email showed order was ready for pick up. Its a new place with definite kinks to work out. They have a great opportunity with only 2 other pizza restaurants in Melissa. Will be back at some point, but not until staff is properly trained and can handle being busy with out yelling at each other.

Ordered online right as they opened and tipped 20%… whoever delivered just left the pizza on my doorstep to get cold. I also ordered garlic sauce to go with my pizzas and wings, but received three ranches. The wings were also covered in ranch instead of garlic Parmesan sauce? It’s good, the service is just subpar.

This was "A Tale of Two Pizzas" for us. We tried Marco's for the first time by ordering an extra large sausage pizza and a large Pepperoni Magnifico. We loved the pepperoni pizza. It was covered in toppings and the crust was zesty and flavorful. The sausage pizza almost seemed like it came from a different store. There were a total of 14 pieces of sausage on the entire extra large pizza; incredibly sparse. The crust was dry and jerky-like in texture. We'd give the pepperoni pizza 4/5 and the sausage pizza 1/5. We loved the flavor of the sauce. But we're baffled by the difference of the crust between the two as well as the generosity vs. stinginess of toppings. We'll probably give it another try and hope that the sausage pizza was a fluke.

Ordered at 6:26pm with email updates and not delivered until 8:30pm. Called the store in Melissa to be informed that there is only one delivery driver. Poor customer service is the lack of accountability by the franchise owner. We will take our business elsewhere.

Update: the provided feedback website does not allow feedback for your store. We bought a couple of pizzas and some cheese sticks tonight. Absolutely disappointed with what we received. There was so much grease that even after removing the pizza from the box, there a puddle of grease. Out of concern we check the car and found that the box had drained out onto our car seats.

I came in to pick up my order. No one looked at me, checked in with me, cared that they had a customer. Finally when some other men walked in they were helped and I finally got to ask for my order! Incredibly terrible service. I’ll give two stars because the food is good, but I guess I’ll need to send my husband to make sure we get our food next time?? I’m fully concerned about the only female worker that was working, she was the only one that helped. Hopefully she’s in a safe work environment. We may just drive out to the McKinney one from now on. Good luck with this franchise!

Not sure if he’s got something going on but that not an excuse to throw boxes on the counter. Also when I had my Apple Pay up on my phone waiting for him to tell me the total he asked “are you going to pay?” I showed him my Apple Pay and he said “tap it then”. When he had taken my payment he walked away to the back and didn’t even give me a chance to ask for a receipt. Obviously a hormonal teenager isn’t going to stop me from ordering here again, it was just unfortunate…..

We have had Marcos at several other cities. I am not sure what is up with this location though. We have tried it two times in hopes it was just an off day during the last visit. Both times our pizza was made incorrectly, extra greasy bottom (never seen this before at other locations), and they didn't even taste good. I hope something changes because we typically love Marcos. We won't be coming back to this location.

We have been ordering from here for a year. Never had an issue until last night. I put in a preorder at 4:36 pm for 6:15 pm. Get an email at 6:22 saying it was delivered. Nothing was ever delivered. I called 4 times and kept getting told oh sorry it's out for delivery now......no pizza ever showed up and when I called to ask for a refund it seemed like that also isn't going to be happening because of the lack of service. I understand places get super busy but to just not even deliver or re deliver the second round of pizza because the first just never showed up is insane to me. I was supplying my babysitter and kids with pizza for the night but that never happened.

I ordered pizza at 6 pm and by 7:15 pm I called to get an update on the order since the system said it was read for me. I was told they did not know when they would deliver it. I asked them to remake it and I would come get it and they said it would be another hour since they are busy. I asked for our money back and conformation I got a refund and was told I would get an email. I did not get an email and when I asked the person on the phone for his name he refused to give it to me. I just wanted to write it down so if the refund did not come I could tell the manager who I spoke with. Ended up getting a manager, Frank and he also would not give the employees name however he did say the refund has been processed. The driver called and was very friendly he wanted to confirm the order was canceled and apologized. He also gave his name! I would give the driver a 5 star.

Their pizza is decent but we don’t have any other options for delivery with where we live. They’ve delivered to our home probably 6 or 7 times. Was told today that they could no longer deliver to us because they have a cap of 10 minutes driving and we’re 11 minutes from their location. I guess they’ll no longer get my business 🤷🏻‍♂️ UPDATE: 8/31/23. Decided to try again after I heard they were delivering to our area. Ordered my pizza at 6pm and was told it would be delivered in 35 min. At 7:15, I call Ed them to check on the pizza and they said the pizza was finished and they were waiting on the delivery drive. At 8:05, called again and checked. Pizza was “waiting” and still hadn’t left the store. Asked to cancel and just refund the money. Spoke to a manager and didn’t even get an apology for the pizza taking over 2 hours. Won’t be ordering from them again..

I recently had a terrible experience with Marco’s Pizza in Melissa, Texas. I called to address a messed-up order where my pizza was supposedly delivered to my address, but I never received it. This is the second time this has happened. When I asked for the employee's name and the regional manager's name, she rudely hung up on me, insisting I call back tomorrow to talk to someone else. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I will never order from Marco’s Pizza again.

Ordered delivery 2 times from them. First time they told me 30-45 min… called me back after an hour to tell me they couldn’t deliver because they don’t deliver anywhere farther than 8 minutes away. Spoiler alert, I live 5 min away. Had to go pick it up. Second time I was told 30 min.., took 2 hours. I called and asked for a refund or credit because I wasn’t happy. Manager told me she didn’t have the ability to do anything about it. Their service is terrible and management is pretty incompetent. Pizza ain’t bad, but not worth the dumpster fire they consider customer service. Will never order there again, I advise the same for anyone else, unless you order takeout. Update on 7/29… responded as instructed a couple days ago and have not received any response. You’re better off spending your money on lotto tickets, better odds at satisfactory results. Terrible business.

My wife came called 1hr ahead to order pizzas for the kids and I’m coming home from Plano walked in with a crowd of people waiting. Now give in take my wife said the pizza would be ready when I got there. I hear a manager in the back saying don’t worry about us and to help in the back. Very rude and not caring about costumers very bad business like and will not support them anymore.

A few things that went wrong with our order today. Initially I tried placing my order online and their app directed me to call the store. I did but I asked the manager to honor the coupon I had for online ordering which he did. I placed the order at 5:19pm and was told it would be about an hour. At 6:45pm I called back and asked for an update on our delivery and was told the driver is on his way. We live about 5 minutes from the store! At 7:10 I call them AGAIN and I’m not happy. We are 2 hours in from our ordering and I keep being told they’re on their way. So I asked for compensation which they agreed upon and was told yet again it’ll be 10 minutes before they get it delivered. Waited till 7:40 and called again when I was told that our order had been refunded and the delivery was returned back to the store! WHAT?!!! That is NOT what I asked for. After speaking with the manager our food was finally delivered just after 8pm. Almost 3 hours after we placed our order. There were items missing and our food tasted like it had been sitting in the hot box for a while. I know and understand that every business is struggling with staff however if you can’t deliver when you promise then say so! I would’ve chosen to either pick it up or order from somewhere else. Very poor time management and customer service. It’s a shame because their pizza is good but I will not choose to order from them again

I have been coming here for two and a half years and I guess its time to stop. Twice in a row Marcos has made the wrong order. Tonight I waited almost an hour four the wrong pizza. I drove to the store and there is two employees there without a single clue between them. No manager on duty, so no refund. I asked for a pen to write my number down for the GM, but no pens in the business. This is a complete joke and now Marcos owes me twenty five dollars plus pain and suffering... Paul should get a hold of me.

Absolutely the worst run operation ever!!! Ordered food estimated delivery 30 minutes. Hour later nothing call half a dozen times to be picked up and hung up 5 times and then Just on hold the last time. 20 minutes. Drive up there to figure out where food is to find one person working that says she is too busy to take calls and not sure where my food is. No offer to call driver or cancel order and refund. Who know if I will ever get food or a refund! Keep my money you’ll need it when you’re out of business!

I have consistently ordered from this location due to its convenience, but my experience tonight was completely unacceptable. I recorded the transaction on my phone to document the inappropriate behavior of the manager, Frank, in case he tries to dispute how he spoke to me. My Door Dasher, a lovely and kind woman, was unfairly chased out of the establishment because Frank claimed she didn’t confirm the order—a task that is his responsibility before handing over any food. His rudeness and unprofessionalism were shocking. When I called to address the way he terrorized this hardworking woman, I was appalled by his attitude. Thankfully, she had the courage to speak up about her experience. I strongly advise against visiting this location; it urgently needs to be restaffed or shut down entirely. I will be escalating this matter to corporate. I have also been made aware that management has been verbally abusing female staff members, which I have personally witnessed on previous visits. It is unacceptable that Frank continues his abusive behavior.

This franchise does not care about the customer at all! I ordered online, and pre paid then arrived 30 min later, and they had no idea where the order was. They said they didn't receive it. They had to relay the question to 4 different employees to get it right thanks to the young lady who saved the day.Even after they found it, I still had to wait another 20 min, no credit, free soda or anything. They didn't even have napkins. When I came home to my suprise, my half n half pizza was not right with the majority one way, and we had to cut it so that it divided properly. Not to mention, it was requested that way because my family member was intolerant of the other ingredients. I called and asked for the manager as he was there and saw all the issues I had from the beginning. Instead of offering a credit or anything else, he asked rudely what you want me to do, you constantly complaining and some additional rude and nasty words I won't use here. This was my first time ever odering from this place and definitely will be the last. Do yourself a favor and drive further to Mckinney as this behavior has to be because there is no other location close by.

This franchise does not care about the customer at all! I ordered online, and pre paid then arrived 30 min later, and they had no idea where the order was. They said they didn't receive it. They had to relay the question to 4 different employees to get it right thanks to the young lady who saved the day.Even after they found it, I still had to wait another 20 min, no credit, free soda or anything. They didn't even have napkins. When I came home to my suprise, my half n half pizza was not right with the majority one way, and we had to cut it so that it divided properly. Not to mention, it was requested that way because my family member was intolerant of the other ingredients. I called and asked for the manager as he was there and saw all the issues I had from the beginning. Instead of offering a credit or anything else, he asked rudely what you want me to do, you constantly complaining and some additional rude and nasty words I won't use here. This was my first time ever odering from this place and definitely will be the last. Do yourself a favor and drive further to Mckinney as this behavior has to be because there is no other location close by.

Ordered online. Came to the store for pickup at 10:30 on a Thursday (you know, the day they’re open at 10:00). The store is closed and now my 80 dollars is gone. Thanks, Marcos.

Not sure what happened but the quality has really gone downhill in the last few months. This is twice now we've had really bad pizza from here. Besides being luke warm, the pizza (All Meat) and wings were really bland and the thin crust tasted like cardboard. For $45 just for a lrg and buffalo wings including tip, we will not be ordering anymore from this location.

Horrible Experience at Marco's Pizza in Melissa, TX I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality at Marco's Pizza in Melissa, TX. Our recent order was a complete disaster from start to finish. First, the pizza we received was not fresh, and the salad had black olives on it, despite us specifically requesting they be removed. We also paid extra for garlic sauce cups, which were missing from our order, and upgraded to their Parmesan crust, which was not done correctly. When we called to express our dissatisfaction, we spoke to the new GM, hoping for a resolution. Instead, we were met with rudeness and a complete lack of customer service. The GM constantly spoke over my fiancé and me, refusing to acknowledge their mistakes. He repeatedly told us to check our order before leaving, rather than taking responsibility for the errors. I am currently injured and unable to move around easily, which is why we ordered food for convenience. This situation has been a major inconvenience, with my fiancé having to drive back to the store to try and resolve the issue. Despite our efforts, the GM refused to offer any credit or compensation without returning the entire order. This lack of empathy and understanding was truly disappointing. We are now eating dinner at 9:30 PM, two hours late, with a one-year-old and an injury. The GM's dismissive attitude and refusal to accept feedback were outrageous. I asked the GM, as he continued to speak over me, if he thought that being in his leadership role, receiving feedback was critical in order for his team's performance and alignment to be on target. He acknowledged yes, but then continued to speak over me again and again, followed by the statement, "It's as simple as check your order, ma'am." We have lived in Melissa for four years and understand that Marco's Pizza recently went through a leadership change. Unfortunately, this is the experience we get with the new team. Marco's Pizza in Melissa, TX has lost our business, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Doordash delivery was terrible. Rude service. Was on hold with Marcos for about 30 minutes to be told nothing. Pizza was cold and late and we were not informed of anything. Also impossible to give this store feedback. They are not listed on Marco's main website to submit feedback or file a complaint.

We have had Marcos at several other cities. I am not sure what is up with this location though. We have tried it two times in hopes it was just an off day during the last visit. Both times our pizza was made incorrectly, extra greasy bottom (never seen this before at other locations), and they didn't even taste good. I hope something changes because we typically love Marcos. We won't be coming back to this location.
