Delicious! Absolutely delicious My husband and I have been looking for a local Chinese restaurant for like 6 years after moving from queens NY and when I tell you this place is fantastic.. trust me.. it’s fantastic! Best Chinese food I have had out here in Melville Long Island and I’ve tried every place… must try!!!

They are the best. But understaffed and everyone wants their food so I suggest calling and waiting on the phone to place an order. If you go in there during lunch without placing an order that's a rookie mistake. I get the lunch special and their sesame chicken is delicious! These people work hard and it shows in the quality of the food they serve so please have patience.

Friendly Staff and Efficient customer service. The food product this restaurant produces is excellent and Extremely tasty. I wouldn't be surprised if they open up Many more stores in different locations!! ; ) Highly recommend it for a delicious take-out experience. Two thumbs up overall, we are so Grateful to have Golden Express Chinese Restaurant around. Yummy in my tummy 🤗

This place is overall great. I visit farmingdale for a friend and order food from here EVERY TIME. The chicken wings have got to be the absolute best Chinese chicken wings ever! There's actually meat on the bone and the food is absolutely flavorful.

Pretty good Chinese American food all around. Split a few dishes last time I was here. The beef and chicken were pretty good quality. The veggies were very fresh. I love how convenient the location is.

Fine enough Chinese food. The chicken+broccoli, shrimp+broccoli, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, and veggie fried rice were all on point. Much better than some of the other Chinese food places in the area, but certainly nothing too special. This is likely my new go-to in lieu of anything better in the area. The people are quite friendly and always have a smile on their face too.

Update: they need to get their act together. Didn’t answer all day Saturday 11-13-21 and they finally answered around 5 pm. I placed an order and had to wait a half hour on the line to pick up my order because there was only 1 cook and only 1 person at front. She let the phone ring and ring at dinner time on a Saturday night!! I think they may be under new ownership or they don’t pay their staff a living wage so they quit. Piles of supplies and boxes stacked up to the ceiling and all over inside. I will not be going back anymore. Older review: I’ve been going to this takeout Chinese place for many years. The lo mein was beyond burnt. Didn’t realize it was possible to overcook noodles that badly. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly batter very little chicken. The chicken and string beans seemed edible. But the rest of the order unfortunately wasn’t.

The absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life beef and broccoli was disgusting. I threw the whole thing in the garbage. What a waste of 20 bucks.

If I could give negative stars I would on this restaurant, I paid for my food they’re credit card was having issues they wanted to charge me again I said no! But eventually gave in because I was going back to work and the old lady that was in the front grabbed my food back as if I was going to steal it. Please do your self a favor never ever come to this place horrible horrible service and thiefs

Was told it would be 20 minutes until the order would be ready for pickup. I got there in 25 and had to wait for 40 more minutes and still no food. I walked out and ordered from elsewhere. Lying about true time and making me wait for 40 EXTRA minutes is inexcusable. Avoid this place

Very nasty attitude. I call up to order soup and I can barely understand a word the person is saying. I go in and get a quart of chicken soup, which came out to $7.60. That is beyond outrageous and greedy. The restaurant was filthy and just so anyone is aware, they have a delivery fee and credit card fee, which they wrre doing before this whole credit card extra charging business started. I will never go here again.

The food was expensive as well and was not good. The place was also dirty and smelt bad which should’ve been a red flag. I was very disappointed.

Avoid this dirty place i ordered a taos chicken and fried rice i had to throw most of it out the rice smelled like rotted oil they used to cook it food was really bad and overall the place is very very dirty poor hygiene with the lady there there are much better chinese around this area hope this helps

Place is absolutely disgusting, I wouldn’t drink bottled water here, the kitchen is behind dirty plexiglass with cardboard boxes surrounding the counter and dirt all over the floor. I went to order food here and the lady behind the counter was beyond rude. I left I knew my food here wouldn’t be any good. AVOID
