Honestly I was a little scared to even head to this Del Taco, with how bad some of the reviews are. Have to say, the food was not only fantastic, but the service was also top notch. Super fresh churros, tacos and quesadilla. All the sauces I asked for and a few more. Truly, the management must've done something about the poor reviews because my experience was the best from fast food I've experienced in YEARS. THANK YOU!

Never had them mess up an order, and its always fresh. Definitely the cheapest fast food place, you'll get the most for your money here. Once you order, they have the fastest drive-through no matter how many ppl are in front of you. Keep up the great work guys!

It's Del Taco. If you've ever been, you know how consistent they are: great, fresh, hot food and friendly service. Even when I'm far from home, always happy to spot a Del Taco - my happy place!

This Del taco CREW makes the best 1/2 lb been and cheese burritos. I go out of my way to get food from this location. Thanks for not being stingy with cheese! Scott rd / other Newport location barely give you any cheese. And crew is always polite / friendly. I barely give reviews but felt I should take a min to leave one. Now my burritos are cold.

Whoever it was that was on the crew tonight was the absolute best. These people were on top of it were not rude or patient and we’re polite and kind when I got my food as I got home the portions were amazing. The food look like it was done with care those people deserve a raise a good job and hell even a vacation. Their synergy is amazing and they deserve nothing but praise bless their hearts bless their souls and I wish them the best now you may think that this review is over the top, but it’s honestly not. I rarely review but when I do, it’s because it meant that much to me and I saw that not only were they patient because I had two separate payments but came home and my food looked amazing and well put together really made my night so much for taking the time to make sure my food is right even if it wasn’t necessarily something you were trying to do I still appreciate what came out of it. You guys are amazing.

This Del Taco is always busy. Only one time I did not receive some of my order and the manager corrected it immediately. The staff is friendly. Del Taco uses more fresh ingredients as compared to Taco Bell. The drive thru moves fast. Google says it is inside Stater Brothers, but it is not. They are separate buildings.

We went through their drive thru about 8:30pm. We pre-ordered in the parking lot area because the dine in doors were locked. It took awhile to get to the window. They were out of the shakes we ordered with no way to remove them from our prepaid bill. The cashier offered me two new types of drinks to try. Both were sprite with little flavored balls in the drinks. The two flavors are mango & cherry. Both were tasty and fun. She gave us a choice of colored straws that were angled with a wide opening to get those flavors to come up through the straw. I appreciate the extra effort spent to make up for the shakes. The staff was under pressure and fulfilled the orders with grace.

Went here late at night. Food was good. If there is anything I could say is wrong with this Del Taco, there looked to be one person working there when I went. The lady who was working had to do everything by herself. It might have taken a little longer than if there were more people, but she was solid.

The restaurant is fairly clean at all times. However on occasion their staff is short handed and the lobby area seems to suffer. Kitchen and Flores are taken care of as well. The cashier also helped prep the food but took the time to put gloves on in order to prevent cross contamination. Overall, speed of delivery of food was good but could have been better. More attention was focused on the drive thru and my order took a couple minutes longer to deliver.

Excellent customer service w/ Great Vibes from the cashier. My only complaints were... I asked for the largest size with my combo expecting macho fries in a cup,didn't happen... oh and I also had to get back in line just to ask for ketchup fory large fries .The last thing was that the table tops were clean, but the seats were NASTY. I had to shake the shredded cheese and lettuce off my pants when I left .

Yeah, a food was good. Customer service was good. The only thing I didn’t like was that they switched to screen and all my orders like everywhere I go there. It’s like custom-made and I can’t even like customize my order so if I can’t customize my order, it’s really not that good but we got somebody to help us.

Just ordered a couple burritos with Del Taco's mix or match 2 for $6 deal. I ordered the Classic grilled chicken burrito and the 8-layer veggie bean burrito. Both were ok. Also added the red sauce bean and cheese burrito for a $1.39. It came out to $8.04 with taxes. The guy at the drive-thru window had a little attitude. He gave me the bag and said goodbye. I looked in the bag for hot sauce, since none was offered. I wanted the del scorcho hot sauce which wasn't in the bag. So I had to get the guy's attention and ask for the del scorcho and he rolled his eyes before going to grab some packets. He didn't demonstrate a positive attitude.

Adding extra cheese or sauce means nothing to them. They just get more money, I get the same, basic, dry, bland tasting bean and cheese burrito. They're only good if you upgrade them to about double the price, and the worker there actually cares about the quality of the product they're making, like I did when I was a Del Taco employee back in the day. This location, like most, because of today's young workers that rarely care about their job, is not the best, but it's by my house, so I keep trying. Sometimes it's legit. Like today I just wanted an ice coffee and chicken taco, and my taco was bomb. It's crazy how you spend 8 bucks and the tacos are alright, but you buy one and it's the bomb. Also, the last two times I ordered on the app, I asked for del scorcho and mild. The first time, I got no sauce. The second time, I got the hottest. The drive thru girl in the morning is on top of her game there. Food is better earlier in the day, apparently. It gets a little bit hurtin' after the morning shift leaves.

Just go inside to order, you'll have better luck doing that. Drive though is very slow and basically makes this establishment's fast food title void. I don't know why, they are just never fast. But that is just the service, I gave this a three star because I always come back for the food, if I have time, ill wait.

The chicken strips were made. The fries were okay. They did not have buffalo sauce but they did have ranch all around. Okay, I did not go inside just through the drive-thru so I have no clue about the inside

I ordered two double Del they both had chopped bacon and chopped tomatoes they don't have tomato slices there? Or strips of bacon? Everything else there is on point they're pretty fast here the place is always packed they do cook your food good. UPDaTE... Went the other night the fries were double dunked they were horrible and cold and greasy. Ordered the double Dell with bacon.... Surprise no bacon. It was cooked like crap anyway.

For a quick bit of fast food it's not bad, but don't expect real tacos or anything extraordinary. The wait lines for this place are usually quite long and they have a bad habit of mixing up orders. It's happened to us quite a few times. But sometimes it's just hits the spot. Word of caution, avoid their greasy burritos.

It's okay, Del Taco is a bit or miss here. The drive through isn't that busy. Food quality is on par with every other location. Update: location is not open 24/7 like the website for this location states. The workers close up whenever they feel like. Sometimes it’s 12 sometimes it’s 2am. Either way, don’t be surprised if it’s closed.

Food was well prepared and fresh. However, the dining area was not clean and more than one table was dirty. Hadn't been wiped down and was sticky.

Love Del Taco... BUT... This place is too busy and understaffed! They have 2 self checkout kiosk, which I guess helps, but on a taco Tuesday, the actual taco deal isn't automatically applied to your order, so I'm disappointed about that. I wasn't able to talk to a manager since it took a long time for the cashier to finally help me. I didn't want my children's food to get cold, so I just walked out. You guys should have more staff on Tuesdays since it's always busy that day. Especially if someone needs help wth their order to be corrected.

Foods good but the hours are not correct at all. Showed up a couple times after working a late night shift and they say their systems are down. 6 nights of POS being down? Don’t really make sense to me.

This has to be one of the worst locations. The employees make this a 2 star. The orders are often wrong, you have to repeat your order several times and they cheap out on ingredients. Cash only today. But why put a sign or tell anyone while ordering? So you can sit in line to waste food and your time. This franchise owner should just give up and sell to someone competent of managing a restaurant.

My main problem with this del Taco is it says 24-hour drive-thru but when I try to go there the drive-thru is blocked off. I work odd hours so It's hard to find places to eat. I don't mind if the drive-thru is not 24 hours, but I wish it was advertised correctly so I didn't make the extra trip.

This location let's me down every time. Shirt staffed. I felt sorry for the 1 person I saw running the front. Slow drive through and unsalted fries. Missing menu items and poorly prepped items. There are way too many good places to eat in the area to waist money here.

My family likes Del Taco as far as fast food goes, and the food here is decent but THIS Location seems to have a problem getting orders right. The last 5 visits they have forgotten my chips 2x when ordering Guacamole, have left out a burrito from order,gotten a burrito wrong and did not upgrade our taco pack to del tacos twice. So frustrating!! Not sure if its bad help or bad trainer. Needless to say check your Orders!

Do not walk in unless you like to wait. They cater to drive-thru only. Review added for 7/17/23: Food was not as ordered. My husband asked for no sour cream, but they put sour cream on his burrito. I asked for easy sauce and it was only at the bottom of the burrito, which means I couldn't eat the bottom of the burrito. The French fries were wimpy, and half cooked. So tired of lousy fries from this place. To top it all off, they put the huge Epic burrito on top of my 1/2 lb burrito and fries, so they were squished. We need to quit giving them chances to do it right...smh

I didn't have the chance to purchase anything. After I placed my order and the girl gave me my total ($48.65) I gave her a $100 bill and she said " I don't have any change" and asked me do you have any smaller? I told her no and said I'm paying almost $50 and then she tells me well we don't accept $100 bills. I asked for a manager but she said she was one of them...so I cancelled my order and drove across street to the next Mexican Restaurant.

This is the most RUDE bunch of people working trying to service the public. I waited for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledge that I was standing there. They all just standing around. When my number was f in nallg called,the food was cold. Try a acting fish tacos cold. All the staff was young, except for one older lady , she just stood around watching. Another lady and young man came in together. They waited and stood there waiting to be acknowledge. Finally she threw her keys on the counter, and only then did someone say may I help you. Where is customer service skills. Atleast , acknowledge people. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION OF DELL TACO AGAIN.EVER .

Was picking up an order for uber eats, the girl told me food wasn't ready and would let me know when it was done so i waited. 15 minutes passes by and still nothing until a different guy asked me if I had been helped. Let him know i was picking up an order and he say oh it's this one (a bag that's been there for like 10 minutes already.) mind you the girl who said she'd let me know walked by me a bunch of times and never once said a thing. made me late delivering.

2 stars for the food being well done. But. We were in at 830 am. None of the tables were clean, benches or floors from the night prior. The trash was filled already. When we walked in behind one other person, the employee was washing the front floors, covered in water and soap. After we walked in he grabbed the lock mechanism off to lock the doors behind us visibly irradiated at for coming inside. He loudly tossed the lock holders on the counter and made it known he was mad. It was very uncomfortable for us. (Mind you the floor was covered from the door to the other end of the counter and the spare door was locked, so even if we went around we couldn't have gotten in). We did carefully go up into the dinning area and not across his work space as best as we could. One, I don't believe you are to cover the floor in water and soap ever. Two, the tables were filthy and the floors needed to be swept first. They still have the drink stain closed but take forever to get you a refill. While sitting we saw a water bug/cockroach on our side of the wall with the tables. It's dirty full of trash and food everywhere, so of course you're going to have bugs inside.

This location does not honor their advertised "now over 1/2 pound" sizes of certain burritos. We have a food scale ⚖️ at home and they were barely or under that. Some of the employees also seem to not like what they're doing and reflect that in their attitudes towards customers. Del Taco is not as busy as it used to be, so they have no good reason to be like that.

Everytime I come to drive thru order gets messed up one time I ordered two del beef burritos paid for them got home I had two bean burritos. Yesterday I ordered thru drive thru one of the items was a $7.00 box meal get home and it was missing the mini quesadilla check your orders before you leave drive thru when you get home its to late

I go to this store pretty often, 3 or 5 times a month and I can never get my receipt to input into the DelYeah rewards. All the other Del Taco's I visit seem to work, but if I don't have them scan my phone while I am there, I cannot input the purchase into the app. This has been an issue that has cost me a large amount of reward credits. Can anyone explain why at all the other locations the receipt work just fine and not here? John

Why offer dine in if you remain a lobby close, either the franchise is cheap to hire personal or the staff are just lazy, continue to use the pandemic shutdown policy, we’ve passed that let’s move forward people .

Stoped by here for lunch, I normally don't do fast food but I gave it a shot. The order taker was polite, seemed all was well until I got my order, I did not recieve my fries for my combo so got back in the drive thru line to correct the order and decided I wanted a chili fries also, I explained to the cashier if it was a plain chili frie and the frie they forgot in the new bag she said yes. When I got home Checked the chili fries it was jus fries no chili, the strawberry lemonades were so watered down it was disgusting, they also forgot my order of two tacos and ruined not mine but also my kids lunch no chilli fries and no tacos for my kids who I ordered for. Not sure of this is the worst DEL TACO or if I should jus give up on fast food in all. Triple check your bags and don't worry about cars behind you, hopefully the employees don't mind when you want to correct your order.

Tuesday and Thursday Taco night sounds great but they serve small tacos with very small amount of meat with more then plenty of lettuce in the center and cheese on top. Some of the tacos have one bite of meat and the rest of the tacos had lettuce and dry hard cheese. This Del Taco fast food store SUCKS!!!! This is not the first time they served botched orders. They can't even get a Del Taco party pack right. No more spending hard earned money at this sad del taco.

SANITARY ISSUES. Employees don’t wash hands after walking outside to their car to turn off car alarm. Karen(mgr) is ask HORRIBLE. Her customer service is trash along with the service. Was told it was there fault when their employee hands my order off to someone else & I ask for a refund she gives me attitude. The guy who gave my order away walks outside touching the entrance door & car keys to shut off his alarm, comes back inside & grabs a order of churros & puts them In a bag to a customer. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN.

It’s 8pm on a Friday. Guest are currently in the lobby ordering food. Drive thru is packed so i decided to go into the restaurant. The doors are locked. I knocked on the door due to the all the guest in the lobby. An employee approached me and said the lobby was closed. I asked when it closed due all the signage posted. I was informed that “it was closed now” due to them trying to influence their speed of service. All the employees were laughing as they obviously we’re just discriminating against me to enter the lobby. This is no way to run a business. You can not trick your speed of service in the drive thru by discriminating on people you allow in your lobby. Management needs to investigate what employees are doing on night shift at this location

Something is off about this place lately. The food has not been good. They also clean all of their stuff VERY early (again, this is new) so your options are limited on what you can order. Basically if it requires a grill 3 hours prior to closing they won't make your food. We will continue to go to the location off Scott Rd. moving forward. Far too many disappointments in the last few months.

I ordered fish tacos . Stupid me . They are minnow sized fish that are cooked till they turn into petrified wood . Fish that small need to fry for 30 seconds not 10 minutes . Avoid this place .

The voice at drive thru tried to talk me into buying more expensive things than a single cheese burger. In fact, she refused to sell me the single cheeseburger... because I asked for extra meat patty and extra sauce. I don't like all that cheese. No thanks. Pulled up to receive cold fries that were walked up by another employee from the back... delivered in a crumpled bag with the $8 burrito and $2.99 red burrito. Did they actually give me someone else's returned cold fries and food? Asked for new fresh hot fries and was met with looks of disgust. Wrong combo burrito too. I wanted the macho combo. So they took back the other combo burrito. Told me they'd put the money back on my card. They charged me $8 for a macho combo burrito. Isn't that more than their advertised price???

It's not fast or convenient. I've been here a few times and orders typically take 20-30 minutes. That is almost as long as most sit down places. Definitely not what you expect for a fast food joint.

Unbelievable. WORST RESTAURANT EVER. There cooks dont read tickets at all. I ordered thru doordash and my order was completely wrong. I literally took the $40 orser there and said this is all wrong they denied and sent me rudely away. I drove all the way down Newport the the newest Del Taco the manager was very nice explained it wad on deed that store and the manager there shouldnt have yelled at me the customer. I tried many times quietly but this store just doesnt care. Take the time to drive to another Del Taco. I promise for me to take this time its serious:(

Like some other reviewers have said, DONT COME HERE AT NIGHT. At first we found out they were out of chips, fries and carbonated drinks. We were hesitant but kept a positive attitude because some nights are crazy and it’s understandable. Then we got our food. It was FROZEN. The tortillas were frozen, the vegetables were frozen. It was inedible. We couldn’t just let it go. Whoever works at night needs to manage their shifts better, if I was the owner I would retrain or REPLACE them.

I waited in drive-thru for about 25 minutes when I finally pull up to order my shakes they told me their machine is down. Online it shows you can place the order for a shake. On the outside of the menu board it does not show they’re not serving shakes at the moment. When I pulled up to the window I asked to talk to the Manager she looked at me and walked away. Horrible customer service!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! This is the closest Del Taco to my house and so I’ve been here a few times and question why I continue to return!!! It’s the worst, ever! Drive thru is ALWAYS extra slow and the they cover up their timer! It took 27 mins and there was 4 cars in front of me! They obviously don’t follow Del Tacos standards because none of their food is up to standards whatsoever. Their management is horrible and the customer is never put first! Corporate really needs to step in and make some changes! Avoid this Del Taco!!!! 6/4/2020 I was here about a month ago and had the above issue and called corporate and they sent me a $10 voucher. Anyway, today I went to that Del taco with a positive attitude in hopes that I could use my $10 voucher without having any issues. Boy, was that a joke! I went to go use my voucher inside and the manager said their register wasn’t working and I would have to come back another time. I said that this voucher expires in a couple days and I didn’t want to come back and if there was something else they could do for me. After going round and round for about five minutes she suggested that I get back into my car and go through the drive-thru )which was 7 cars deep) because that register will take my Voucher. I was super upset and asked her why she couldn’t just walk over to the drive-thru register and put in my order and she said that she couldn’t interrupt the drive-thru girl taking orders. At this point I’m fuming. I ended up walking out, going home and calling corporate once again! Management has to step up their game! This is absolutely ridiculous!

Gotta say this is the worst Del Taco I've ever been to. Why you ask? They claim to be open 24 hours, yet every time I have attempted to visit them between the hours of midnight and 5 am, they claimed to be closed for end of day shift or something? And can't take any orders. The fact that I've visited this establishment multiple times and haven't even been able to order food is frankly ridiculous. And I am highly inclined to believe every negative review about this location.

Service not good at all I tried to order a value fiesta box and they said I could not Employees pick what you can order on the menu But it's available on the app And the manager stood there and justified it.....never going back to this del taco..... A manager was rude as well... And the food was made very poorly No green sauce on my burritos very little beans And there was barely anything in del taco taco....

Still the worst Del-Taco of all time, this location continues to break new bounds as to how awful a restaurant can be. It's mind boggling how atrocious this place truly is. I settle for this location probably once every two years because I know how much it blows. The food at this location is ALWAYS cold and missing ingredients, every single time I order here, and I mean every time, not just some times. Last night I ordered a classic chicken burrito and received nothing but lettuce and cheese wrapped in an ice cold tortilla, I'm not kidding.

I pull up to the drive through and master splinter not ran across the floor but WALKED like the rodent owned the place, thing is probably the store manager at this point! I informed the workers they checked and sure enough they saw it run back across..this place needs to be shut down they have rodents!

They served this "Meat" - that had the consistancy of dried out Dogfood. What is this? Unacceptable.

This is the worst location franchise. Always short staffed, staff always locks the door so people can't dine in. And it's dirty inside at all times, like old food on tables and floor dirty . Hard to believe they pass a health inspection. I had a 20' trailer so I walked to the door and the lady told me to try the drive thru see if I could make it. Not sure what's wrong with this location. This location somehow continues to be the worst Del Taco in history in all this time its been open. I don't know how its still in business. I always avoid this place but I live down the street and sometimes we just want some Del. But every single time the order is wrong and something is missing. This time three items were missing and the other items were not made as asked. I dont understand how one single Del Taco can mess up so badly every single time when no other one does.

I didn’t get my order correctly and I called they said they would replace it when I called. After picking up my son I’m heading back and hour later I go through the drive through and ask to speak with the manager because I had called. The manager accused me of lying and said that I came in through walk in when I called she said they close walk in at 10 p.m. I wasn’t going to make it there in 10 minutes. Then when I asked for more meat instead of getting free fries the manager says again she already replaced it and then asked how did I know about the free fries and I told her that she told me over the phone. I eventually got the burrito but because of how they are acting the employees and manager I am actually dreading eating it since I don’t know if they spit in it dropped the tortilla on purpose or didn’t wash their hands after touching anything that is dirty. This is by far the worst experience here.

This has to be the worst del taco I've ever been too and not just my opinion I've had other tell me del taco is ran poorly and I experienced it today ....literally nothing in the tacos all shell no meat and extra sauce was non existent and just not worth the money of $7.50 for three tacos...other locations never disappoint but this one definitely deserves the one star review so beware this location is just poorly ran by management

Ordered 2 mini shakes, sat in the drive thru around 7 mins waiting for someone to have us pay while our shakes sat on the counter right in front of us. Girl didn't even say sorry when she finally came to help us. 👎

The one on Newport next and menifee road is lousy. Horrible manager Maria! Disorganized. She threw my food to me after I asked her for some sauce packets. She was yelling at another customer who had been waiting 30 minutes. That customer merely asked for a refund. Unprofessional. Hostile. Unpleasant. Why should anyone spend their money at this particular location when we all have choices.

Tonight at 10:15pm i had the worst service the young lady at the drive had the worst attitude we asked for fresh fries and you can taste the difference she gave us whatever fries were left im guessing and put burnt " fresh " fries on top didnt even bother to put salt one of our crispy chicken tacos had the most smallest piece of chicken ever it was mostly just tortilla and when we asked for the hottest hot sauce she gave us mild and clamed thats all they had but as someone who managed a fast food restaurant i know theres ALWAYS boxes in the back with extra condiments. Overall worst experience ever. If you don't enjoy your job you shoudnt be working there or at least taking it out on the PAYING customers. I will be reporting this to the manager

Very dirty place. I go to the other del taco, on the other side of the freeway. Which is very clean. It is worth the drive. To be clean. The del taco at the corner of Murrieta and Newport, is not clean. To bad it is very close to me. Maybe they will clean it up ? Some day.

I went through the drive through and ordered two classic grilled chicken burritos and a chili cheese fry, no drink. The total came to 16$ and some change. After I paid for the food the drive through worker asked if I wanted hot sauce, I replied "yes, the hot please". She threw a hand full of mild into my bag. She tried to hand it to me and I said "No, I asked for hot sauce, can I please have hot" she told me the mild is the hot. I said ok well can I have some of the hotter kind then and she argued with me and kept insisting that the mild was the hottest sauce they had. Finally I had her show me all of the sauces they had and let her know I want the orange one labeled del inferno(that says HOT right above the name) and she hands me two packets. As of this whole scenario isn't enough I drive home with my food, change out of my work clothes, sit down and pull two bean and cheese burritos out of the bag instead of my chicken burritos. So I drive all the way back to dell taco to get a refund for my food. They can't give me the refund because the card I paid with is in my wallet that I left at home. I asked if he was serious when the manager said there was nothing he could do unless I came back again with the card(never offered to replace the food, or offer a gift card for the price of the meal) I walked out in frustration, realized I needed my receipt to make a complaint and walked back in to get it from the manager, but none of the employees would acknowledge me or give me the receipt back so after five minutes of standing and waiting I left. So now I've spent a bunch of time and gas driving back and forth, and 16$ for 2 bean and cheese burritos and some chili fries, and no receipt to file a complaint with corporate

Worst del taco I have been to. I waited a year to come back to this place and it's still terrible. Everything was stale, fries were soggy and tasted weird. The only decent thing was the iced tea. It almost seems like there is a saboteur working here. FYI del taco has always been my favorite fast food restaurant. I've probably visited 50 different ones in my adult life and this has got to be by far the worst one. If I didn't have my infant daughter I would have have gone back and got a refund, but instead I begrudgingly ate the tacos and threw away the rest. This place didn't even have hot sauce...good thing we save our extras. 4/28: Owner requested I follow up in the app with another review... I obliged but can only do a single item at a time. They sent a 7.50 credit for their restaurant...like I am going to go back here. There won't be a 3rd time for this place. I spent 18 bucks here.

I pulled up to order and immediately told to pull to the window cause they couldn't hear me. Then asked to order. I don't have the menu memorized so I just ordered what I remember. Then told to park in the front. The rude drive thu lady with hickies on her neck brought out my food and left before I could ask her for my card back. So I went inside to get my card and sauce. Terrible experience.

Smallest portions of any Del Taco I have ever been to. I tried it once several weeks ago and thought maybe it was just a one off so tried it again and it was the same. I love the classic chicken burrito and this particular Del Taco is so skimpy for the same price that I get bigger ones for at other locations. last time I eat here for sure.

whichever girl is working tonight, may 27, 2024 at around 12:15 am should have a stern talking to. my poor boyfriend went to get us some food. to start off, this girl was pretty rude to us. my bf ordered a fry and didn’t get it. so we got all the way home and it wasn’t in the bag. i then called the restaurant and the girl answered, and she did not care about the fact that we drove all the way home without his fry. she did not apologize or anything which was absolutely insane considering the fact that money was spent for a service and the service was lacking ! i understand that some items can be forgotten, i work at mcdonald’s for crying out loud but no one deserves to be treated that way. hope you reconsider who you hire and who you keep.

I was way overcharged on my order, and wrong sauces were given. Food itself wasn't bad, but service was slow, and $15 dollars for 3 items was asinine.

I remember when they built this Del Taco and was excited about it but ever since before covid, this location has been very bad at customer service, order is always wrong, I ask for two beef burritos with sour cream, I get home and one has it but the other didn't. The fries are always over cooked and taste like the oil is not fresh. Also waited in the drive thru line for over 20 min for them to tell me the shake machine was out of order. The staff presentation appearance was not great, one of the cooks placing products on the burrito shells and Taco shells etc only had one cooking glove on and hands, arms and face covered in tattoos, not discriminating someone who has multiple tattoo's that's very visible, it's just don't look presentable. Won't be eating here until some changes are made.

Every single time I've gone lately they get my order wrong. I had not been in years. What's happening. You would think that with a higher pay they would at least pay attention to orders.

Ordered two chicken tacos and Two burritos, Both chicken tacos were absolutely horrible. They gave me like the leftover burnt chicken (10pm) at first, I thought they gave me ground beef, I had to spit the food out of my mouth! Absolutely, horrible food! . There was more lettuce and cheese than chicken. The bean burritos tasted like absolutely horrible, the beans tasted stale! Absolutely horrible experience with Del taco! What a waste of $13.

They over charged me and asked me to come back to get a refund because the manager was on break! We said well I guess we will just wait here in the drive thru. Like wait your manager can't get up and just refund this?! All a sudden they gave us our money, weird. Our $50 worth of Del Taco was cold and the meat was over cooked. Such a waste of money to feed 6 people, you use to get way more for your buck, not a $9 breakfast burrito.

Soggy fries, not even cooked today, raw. Also soggy fish tacos and speed-racer service like take your food as fast as you can and go. Normally best crispy fries, but all around lousy today.

If I could give zero stars I would have. I stopped to grab a late night snack for my family. The young man working the drive thru was extremely polite but got my order wrong. However, once I corrected him he apologized and seemed to have corrected the order. When I made it home most of the items were wrong. I called to report it to the store manager. I wanted nothing in return more than just to notify them of the mistake to prevent it from happening to others moving forward. I spoke with a gentlemen who claimed to be the manager but failed to identify himself. This guy told me he does not give out his person information over the phone. When all I asked for was his name and he's acting like I asked for the last 4 of his social. Well I have it documented that I spoke with said manager around 11:45 pm Friday December 12th. So I'll allow corporate to deal with him when I call to file a formal complaint for his lack ot customer service skills and complete disregard for my issue!

Horrible customer service. I had ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and they gave me a steak quesadilla. It was Ash Wednesday and I don't eat meat. The guy gave me attitude when I asked for a new one. I ended up eating the meat quesadilla because he was just going to throw it out. I then asked for some ketchup and he just threw it on the counter and turned his back. As we were eating our dinner, I could hear him cussing behind the counter. Never going back. We were hoping to have a nice, quick dinner but this employee ruined it with his rude attitude.

I am absolutely astounded how this place can continually screw up as bad as they do. I went late through drive through and ordered an extra crispy fry and two snack tacos. Late at night with no cars behind me. Get the order and go home to eat which is no more than a couple minute drive down the street. I open the order and the fries are lukewarm at best with a uncooked but greased fry sitting on top. None of the fries are extra crispy. Half of them are actually room temp/cold. Snack tacos? The meat was the same temperature. There is absolutely ZERO chance that meat was held at a safe temp. It was cold under my finger. I will be filing a complaint with the health department. These employees are going to get someone sick. Corporate is getting an email as well. It would be one thing if this was a one off but it is CONSTANT that this place screws up. And then when they do screw up and we let them know, they give you all the attitude like we're the jerks for calling out their incompetence. This is not the first time they're screwed up my order but it will be the last. I will GLADLY drive to the other side up Menifee for Taco Bell. Hell, I'll go further than that and go to the other Del Taco off Scott instead.

Ordered the "EPIC GUAC" lol epic. They put a hard, unripened avocado in my burrito. It was not guac. They even laughed when they handed me my meal and I wasnt sure why at the time. Just kids playing games at $20/hr.

Food is always good, attitude of workers is a bit ridiculous. Never had an experience without them giving attitude . The younger girls are sweet and helpful though. Manager was helpful with questions about the app. Edit. For home from picking up my order forgot meat in tacos , barely any cheese mainly just letuce but not even enough to fill the shell. Tacos were half empty , . Chips for the nachos were stale, everything was sloppily put together , and even after asking if she got the extra taco(ordered for multiple people) they forgot multiple . Girl in drive through was still sweet unlike several other wprkers. Most likely won't be coming back.. the now poorly made food isn't worth the attitude received from counter workers when trying to fix their mistakes.

I went to Del Taco in Menifee on Newport and Murrieta. Their sign reads that the lobby is open until 10 pm. I had hungry teenagers in the car and the drive thru line was huge. It was 9:38 pm when we got there. I tried to go in and the door was locked. A employee was waving her arm for us to go through the drive thru. I was pointing at the sign that showed the dining area inside was open. She would not let us in. I want to speak with the franchise owner. This is unacceptable!!

do not come here. walked in and it stunk like bad armpit. also found a hair literally cooked and wrapped in my chicken. This place should not be open it’s so disgusting and is obviously doing nothing to improve.

Absolutely the worst Del Taco in all of Southern California. I have tried to go back several times over the last 10 years and I am alway missing part of my order or the food it inedible and the servers are nasty and rude. Avoid this place and keep heading east and grab some Wendy's they are amazing!!!

Not sure if its under new management or what but the food is all of a sudden TERRIBLE! They served us cold hard burritos as if made the day before and refrigerated til the next day. The guac was brown and the burger was as thin as a sheet of paper! Very disappointed and will NOT be going back!!!!
