This is the best El Pollo Loco super friendly staff! However the customers there are very rude, lot of entitled, impatient folks don't give workers and respect. When you go make sure you try tostada salad very delicious. Good service, workers deserve a raise for what they have to endure each day!

Went thru drive thru so atmosphere was not an issue. Bought dinner and lunch for the next day. Especially like their chicken bowls and family dinner menu and healthy side selections. Chicken is always tasty. Prices reasonable.

The person who took my order also prepared my order as well. He was nice and very professional. I think he name was Michael. He asked if I wanted anything else and was very pleasant.

Delicious food, quick service, clean atmosphere and reasonably priced Menu. What more can one ask for. I've had a great meal with my 2 grandsons ages 10&12 for under 20.00. Now who can argue with that.

Upon entering I was gladly greeted by employees and made to feel at home!! Olga was the one who took my order and she was so nice and patient as I had never visited before and needed time to decide what to order. The restaurant was super clean and my order was made within minutes. Very glad I came to this location.

I've eaten here for years now, and it's a cut above their other locations. Everyone's kind and polite, and the food tastes great. If you're strapped for cash, the BRC is cheap but great with their salsa. Definitely recommend you give this restaurant a shot.

I had just visited this location for the second time after moving to the area and I wanna say this particular El Pollo Loco has some of the friendliest employees I’ve ever experienced. The last time I visited the girl at the drive thru was super sweet and apologetic that they had a shortage on an item I’d ordered and still made sure what I was able to order was perfect before I left. This time too, the employee Richard, who was also working the drive thru, was super enthusiastic, very sweet, and also made sure everything I ordered, extra sauces included, made it into the bag. This was never the typical experience at the previous locations I’ve visited. I used to be work in a restaurant and also did to-gos myself and I have to emphasize Richard (and the other girl I wish I caught the name of) definitely deserve some recognition for their incredible customer service and attitude especially with them being behind the drive thru window. Will be glad to return in the future and I look forward to the chance to thank the two of them in person 💕

El Pollo Loco in Menifee, CA is the best El Pollo Loco I have ever been to. It’s extremely clean, great deals and the manager Olga Gonzales runs this franchise to absolute perfection! The staff is extremely friendly and the food is fantastic!!!

Well I don't really ever eat here and wanted to get something different for the kids. I was very pleasantly surprised by all the food we got. Trying to take 3 teenagers to eat is always a chore and i think we finally found a place were we will all eat. The service was good and the store was nice and clean. The food was done pretty fast and we had a good size order. The prices were also very good for the food we got. I will be heading back here for sure in the future.

Despite the long line behind us, the young man taking our order took the time to help my Mom with her app for the restaurant to get her points & explain how it worked. 5 stars for that alone. The food was good. So good, I didnt need dressing for my salad.

Everyone here is so kind! I was greeted warmly as soon as I came in for my pickup order. I had 6 drinks and food to carry by myself so Gill helped me carry to my car. I had accidentally dropped my drink and Gill helped me with that also. I appreciate the kindness!

I normally take my food to-go but I was with family and they wanted to eat inside. They were nice and gave me extra plates and utensils. It sucks that there's extra sauce pricing, but I can't pass up their creamy cilantro dressing. I don't use it for a tostada, I use it as a dip for my chicken lol

Food is always so good the team is as friendly as always. The manager latrese is pretty awesome I noticed the kid in front of me didn't have enough to pay for his meal so she gave him a discount to be able to afford it. That is the true definition of running a business and great customer service that kid was so happy made my day.

So I live like 8 minutes away from this pollo loco and every time I go, super fast service.. Today they accidentally forgot my salad dressing, and I didn’t realize until I got home. I called them asking if i could come pick one up and they apologized about the mistake and told me to come get one.. I got there 10 minutes later and the lady who previously took my order apologized and gave me 2 creamy cilantro dressings and a whole other side salad… that was very sweet of her, and I never get upset at restaurant employees for making mistakes because I’m a waitress myself and I know how it is., great customer service I love coming here!!

WOW!!! Had a very tasty quick lunch bite here. We had the Double Chicken Toastada Bowl! Super yummy! I usually don't like or enjoy fast food. This didn't taste like fast food at all! Thank you El Pollo Loco...

They think the pico and guuc green sauce is made of gold. I asked for 3 or 4 time what they normally give and willing to pay for it. Got home with a 16 piece family meal and got a total of 6 tiny little containers of sauces.

Typical El Pollo Loco food (fast food burritos). The drive thru seems to move slowly, they appear to be understaffed. The staff is usually friendly. Haven't had any issues with wrong orders.

El Pollo Loco exhibits consistent quality, never disappoints me. The chicken and side dishes seem to taste perfect and have the perfect food temperature at selected locations tho. I attribute that to perhaps refrigeration or thawing prior to cooking? rushing the cooking times? maybe different cooking equipment amongst locations? The prices are affordable; you can either get value menu items or get a whole bucket of chicken and feed the family for approx $20.

Last time I ate at an El Pollo Loco I was a kid and I've been wanting to go ever since leaving Cali over 15 years ago. Honestly was delicious but not as delicious as it was back then. Still a favorite of mine though.

The fire-grilled chicken here is usually tasty and has a nice smoky flavor. It’s a good spot for a quick meal that feels a little healthier than other fast food. Most of the time, the service is fast and the restaurant is clean.

The tacos al carbón were delicious. My wife loves the chicken tortilla soup. Tasted fresh and good value. Birria tacos are good but they run out A LOT and the staff doesn't always have the best attitude.

Placed 2 16 PC family meal orders. Took awhile, that's fine the chicken had to cook.. this was a walk in order.. when we got back 2 out of the 6 sides we're missing.. had to make another trip to complete order.

I've been to this location on 2 occasion's. I went twice because I wanted to give it a second chance. The 1st time my white meat was extremely dry. In my opinion way overcooked. It was a drive-through order. My 2nd visit my chicken which was dark Meat was not cooked all the way. The bone was still bleeding. However everything else was delicious. The only clean place that I seen and had access to which included the Salsa bar and drink area, seating area and bathroom. The counter where I ordered my food and the women's bathroom where the only clean areas as for as I was concerned. I will continue to go to This chain restaurant however not to this particular site.

I love their chicken breast so I come here often. I get good service from the girls because they’re always friendly and never have a problem with my order. Today some boy with glasses did not want to give me my mobile order I had placed in line as they were taking over 5+ with each car. It was my turn and he said I would have to go back in the drive thru and wait again. Confused because I only got two single items which shouldn’t take that long. A nice lady was working with him and she said she can make it as it was no big deal but as I went to the window the same guy with glasses annoyingly said the same thing and he didn’t want to give me my order! The girl behind him said she will give it to me so I don’t get why he had so much attitude to begin with. Not good customer service from that guy. Didn’t get his name but he had glasses and dark hair. Was working at 7:50pm. He needs better training and customer service he sucks

We placed an order for pickup arrived early and request salsas since I couldn't request them online and the salsa bar was closed. I got home and to my surprise, no salsas were added to my order! Please make salsas available to public that way next time I can get them my own.

Pollo Loco is not what it used to be. The chicken were always tender, and juicy. Maybe it was the cook, I don't now. My chicken that I ordered on a double chicken were dried, and had a burnt taste to it. It was terrible.

I went there around 4:00, no chicken for an hour. I tried again a few days later and it was 20 minutes until the chicken was ready. Food was just ok. I know this is a new business, but it seems like they could do a little better with planning. And the first time when there was no chicken, I was stuck in the line and it would have been a nice customer service gesture to offer a free drink or at least apologize for the inconvenience.

I'm not sure who's running this place but they are Penny pinching customers right out the door. Not enough avocado in my salad, extra for dressing? And when I tried redeeming points on the app? Didn't happen. What's the point of all the points?

Chicken pieces small and over cooked, never get order correct, even if you ask at pick up window. I bought 4 meals and asked for green sauce, they gave me 1. ... my churros were bare. :( I've never left a restaurant review before, but El Pollo Loco has always been one of my favorites, and the last few months, service has been a bit weird. Usually the order isn't very wrong, if at all, but this time, it was very off. I ordered 2 churros, which have not a crumb of cinnamon sugar, 2 pork carnitas tacos, that have no sauce + oddly chopped veggies, and an avocado chicken burrito for my breakfast tomorrow. I'm really hoping my burrito is good as always. I understand the pressure of keeping food such a high quality while simultaneously being a frequented fast food place in a city like Menifee, but working too fast and not being organized enough to give your customers correct meals is more damaging to your amount of returning customers than having to go a bit slower to give them what they're paying for. however, I have a feeling they may be understaffed for the amount of people they need to serve at once from what i can see of fhe kitchen each time i go, and that's not the employees fault. I really hope my churros are able to be rolled in sugar because of better working habits/conditions next time I go, but I also hope the workers are doing okay. Sometimes bad food quality and/or service indicates the employees aren't feeling well, not that they're lazy.

Waited 25 minuets for our order. Went up to the counter to ask. 3 employees were standing around at the cashier's with no one in line and ignored me for 5 mins. Then finally came up. I asked where our two small family orders were, he seemed confused as he looked around. Then I pointed out our order in the shelf near the cook station and awkwardly said to himself, "oh it's here." I asked how long has it been there as he brought it over. (30 mins after ordering with only 1 other couple inside). I noticed there was cheese and sour cream on the order that was not supposed too. Day down and ALL the food was cold. Sent it back and waited for the order to be done again.

This 0lace needs better management. It's the dinner hour and cars are lined up in the drive-thru waiting over 30 minutes. I walked inside to see one cook working the chicken. 75% of what was on the grill was uncooked. Someone needs to work on time management. Especially during a predictably high dinner rush.

This trip to El Pollo Loco was bad. The drive thru line was long like an In-n-Out would be, but it wasn't moving. My wife and I thought we would just park and order online and walk in to pick up. We ordered and waited and when it was time, she went to pick up the food, but they had locked their doors with a note stating to call them. Others were waiting outside as well and it was around 45 degrees outside. You could see people shivering while they wait; it was weird. Once she called, a lady came out and gave her food and said everything was in the bag, except she was handed a drink and we didn't order one. She immediately looked in the bag and called back to her that it wasn't hers after she walked away. She took the food from us and gave it to someone else. The employee got locked out while handing out the food and couldn't get back inside. She stood out in the cold like the rest of us, knocking and knocking, trying to get a coworker to open the door for her. About 5 min or so and she was back inside. People were frustrated and cold waiting for their food. Though our order was ready per online, we got it about 15 minutes later. We were missing our sauces and tortillas from our order and the chicken was really dry. The experience was bad and we suffered with others, if it was waiting in the cold or if they were stuck in the drive thru line. I wouldn't recommend eating here unless maybe it is slow and you only want your food via the drive-thru.

I got the double chicken tostada meal and the chicken was mostly dry and hard to eat!! I was looking forward to eating this and now it is such a disappointment l!! Also I wanted an extra dressing and it was .97 extra and it was very watery not thick and creamy like it had been in the past. Also no tomato in this or cheese that I can see? So really didn’t need to purchase the extra dressing because the dressing is watery and saturates everything really fast. I drove through. I think that is why my food wasn’t as nicely put together like last time I went and I sat inside.

Just went through the drive threw and asked for extra dressing for both of my salads. (Decided on this location for the covienence considering I have two small kiddos and it's easier to keep them in the car during the heat. ) Got up to the window and asked again if the extra dressings were in the bag, she stated yes! Got home and NO extra dressings! Also add that the past couple times the dressing seem to be watered down along with the Mac n cheese, just not he same thick consistency at all. We will be going back to another location.

This Pollo Loco is seriously one of the worst locations I have been to specifically pertaining to their customer service. Their staff needs training. They stand around talking about personal issues as us customers are waiting at the register to be helped. On top of waiting for them to finish there conversation they got my order completely wrong only to find out when I got home. Such a beautiful facility but staff makes your experience very dull & painful. I rather drive to the Lake Elsinore location who go above & beyond for their customers.

The service was horrible I sat at the window where you place your order 15 minutes no other cars in front of me had to drive up to the pay window to put in my order. all that they messed up my order I had to turn around and go back make them fix it. The little manager on duty was nasty had to calm her down and let her know she was not going to be disrespectful to me. Horrible service. This is the one in Menifee California. 3/16/2022 they have never contacted me to MAKE IT RIGH!

So today I decided to try Pollo loco in Menifee . Homeless people are supposed to be able to buy food now with Ebt . Today I witnessed the front door locked and you were forced to go thru drive thru . I took the person thru in my car and they were told to back to front door..When asking why doors were locked and was told they have been open all day. I felt so bad that they were putting them thru extra . Instead was told they would check the camera Huh? Wow Asked if they could place the order and they would walk around , because spent already 10 min to get up to order and now stuck in between cars smh . She was rude . Not accommodating at all . It was clearly their mistake. The least you could do is get the meal ready so when they get out of drive thru and come inside its not a long wait . She wanted to debate and go back and forth . The food was never received I didnt even want to spend my money bcuz they needed to catch a bus . They have enough problems already smh . At least we can do is lighten the situation ya never know what a person is going thru. I got APPLEBEES instead 😋

Beware!! They use old dried out chicken on their salads. I’ve given them 3 attempts going thru the drive up around 11:30 am and old chicken every time. I feel they didn’t use the chicken the day before, so they save it and use the following day for the first salads they sell. Also the dressing use to be thick with flavor, now it’s watered down with no flavor. I won’t be visiting this business again…..not all El Pollos are the same since I get great salads at other locations.

I paid for extra things in my burrito I not only got no extra items I paid for they also give me the wrong burrito.The management on the night crew is the worst I have ever seen, honestly don’t think the manager is ever there to regulate. My other came out to 15$ and I got nothing of what I paid for and this isn’t the first time this has happened to me; don’t eat here. You can get a better quality meal for 7$ at jack in the box and they’ll actually get the whole order right every time.

I ask for extra creamy cilantro and I also mention to charge me if there was an extra cost. I checked my bag and they didn't give me anything. Ordered through mobile at 4:05 pm. Pickup in the dining room was 4:18 pm. Arrived at the store at 4:15 pm and the dining room was closed apparently since 11:30 am (sign on the door said as much). Was forced to sit in drive thru. Arrived at the window at 4:50 pm. Was handed cold food and beverages with completely melted ice. This is the second time within a month this location has done exactly this same thing.

The lobby is consistently closed. They routinely run out of chicken. The latest is ordering online, for pickup, walking to the lobby door, to see a sign that says ‘Drive-Thru’ only. So now we have to sit in the drive-thru line for our online order. Makes no sense. I’d more understanding if they’d just shut off the online ordering if need be.

So this is a drive thru and drives thrus are supposed to be quick and easy. However, I waited fifteen minutes for my order In The drive thru then to find out my order isn't even what I ordered. What I received was a thigh leg Mac and cheese and coleslaw which leaked all over the inside of the tray the food was kept in. What I ordered was a four piece meal with Mac and cheese, salad, and flour tortillas. Unacceptable!

Don’t mind the wait (more than 25 mins) if the food is fresh but was given wrong order (a breast and 3 skinny wings instead of 2 breasts and a wing) and to top it off chicken looked liked it was cooked in 8 hours before. I love pollo loco just not this location! As a matter of fact I might never go to pollo loco again. I ordered a family feast and love your green salsa. I asked for 3 salsas and was rudely told they had a salsa shortage and could not give me more than one…but for an extra $5.00 they could sell me a pint. Really, I don’t want to take a pint of salsa home just want salsa for my meal. Unbelievable! Now I should mention the individual was RUDE and ARGUMENTATIVE. If I could give this place a negative star, I would. Corporate really need to check in on this location. I'm not the first customer to place an order online and was unable to pick it up. After not getting the meal I paid for, the restaurant stated they are not able to refund me my money. I now have to go out of my way to call my bank to void the transaction. Shame on you ALL.

The thighs were smaller than the legs? Small chicken pieces then they forget the sauces for my salad the last few times I went back once and gave me a 20% discount but for anything under $10??? I usually buy family meals. I hope they get better and the chicken pieces get larger or I may have to go back to the Murrieta restaurant.

Ordered an 8 piece family meal. The chicken was over cooked or old. Tasted like I was chewing rubber. Maybe after lunch left overs? Paid extra for two cilantro lime sauce but, it was only 1/4 full. Cheap owners want to save every penny but, in the long run will lose money with the poor food quality. I've had it in Orange County and it's always good there. Won't come to this location again. Employees were as expected and friendly.

I go to the this one because it's 2 miles from my house. Customer service is horrible they actually need, new management, it's been this way - way to long 7 out of 10 times I either DO NOT get the meal i ordered (it's wrong) or they're out of chicken breast. How does El pollo loco run out of chicken breast every other time I go there. I go to a different one 15 miles out of my way to get a normal two breast and a wing plate. It's just straight terrible customer service in every which way, Good thing I'm not the manager, I would change that place into the number one store in a heartbeat...

I wanted to share my experience at this particular location. I will not be coming back. I came to this location earlier this week and ordered food it was average and not as fresh as other locations. However, it’s the closest one to my house approximately 15 mins away. I noticed the chicken always seems dry, maybe old? My churros had no cinnamon and sugar. Whatever, stuff happens. On my second visit this week I ordered the following. 4 churros, Chipotle Chicken avocado burrito, 2 chicken salads. After leaving with my order I went to drop off my daughters salad and churros at her place of work. I then noticed salsa was everywhere -!and my burrito packaging was open - which caused soggy tortilla. Not to mention not a single salad dressing for the 2 salads. My daughter decided to keep her (1) salad and churros. I returned to the store to see what my options were. I preferred a refund of the remaining items but would have also accepted the items remade with the dressing. I was met by the manager on duty Lucia. I explained what happened to Lucia and she was not apologetic, she didn’t sympathize with me. She questioned me and said, “it came like this?” I replied Yes. She acted like I was inconveniencing her the entire time. I’m shocked at the lack of customer service and leadership from Lucia. Lucia does not belong in ANY role as a leader or customer service. I am disgusted by her behavior. I asked if there is a way to contact a supervisor of hers she said I can email corporate. I completed my survey, emailed corporate and am writing this review. I hope this review not only reaches someone and aids in a retraining of Lucia but let’s other possible patrons know to not stop into this location unless you was a disappointing and below average experience.

I ordered a big family meal and also tried to order the bigger sides and manager (short female) would not sell me the bigger size container saying that they are not in the system to sell. Which doesn't make any sense. I have bought them at other El Pollo Loco locations. This is the first time coming here to this location. I do understand that every location is different owner. I guess some owners are more stingy than others. SMH

We ordered ahead for curbside pickup. They never brought our food. We had to go inside. The staff were very rude and horribly organized. We got our order wrong. Normally we’d just go inside and fix it but that was not going to happen. We even wrote El pollo of our experience and they were as generic as can be. We won’t be coming back to this location.

Online ordering is useless. You still need to wait in the Drive-Thru line so your food will be cold. They won't print their store number or survey ID on the receipt. So you can't review them. Great business model. No bad news is good news.

The drive thru guy Issac has put a MASSIVE dent in that atmosphere. Why would you out someone so miserable there. He made my experience garage! I dont ever wana go back there. I asked for chicken and he said there was a 45min wait. No problem. I told him I wasn't going to order and that I'll just pass through. Mind you, I was patiently waiting in line for about 15mins because I was stuck in between lines. Again no problem. As I'm there waiting. I thought to myself maybe I'll just grab some mash potatoes because they're so good and then go buy some deli chicken and call it a night. Issac made it seem like I ordered 70 pieces of chicken r I ght before closing time. Made me feel like garbage. Please remove him from the windows. He doesn't deserve to be there. I'm done going to this place if he's there.

I came inside and The lady “Latrice” was extremely rude and short handed with me. I was trying to order my food and she had an extremely rude attitude from the start. She made it seem like asking for salsa was an issue, as well as asking for straw, and utensils. She sighed and sounded annoyed when I asked to change my order to 3 pc combo meal instead of an 2pc and when someone came to help me she was being rude to the other employee as well. She’s very unprofessional and seemed to cause a lot of turmoil within the back which delayed my food coming out. She’s very very rude and treated me as if I was wasting her time. Probably never coming back to this store, she made it unwelcoming and a hostile environment and I’m a customer so I could imagine how her employees feel. I just wanted food and I felt like I was the issue. It took me 8-12 minutes to get my food and she kept leaving the front unattended. I asked her when my food was coming out because I have to go to work (I’m on my lunch break) she told me “it will be out when it’s ready” and gave me a stank face. Very rude! very unprofessional! very loud practically yelling. She yelled in the back “3PC chicken they changed there mind” rolled her eyes and looked at me with a stank face as if asking her to do her job was chore. Hopefully next time I come Robert is there to serve me. I come often and he is always happy to serve, extremely kind, and in a good mood.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a BRC with extra cheese she tells me it’s an extra charge I said no problem every time I go there I ask for this and they always charge me but never give me extra cheese it’s so frustrating with prices these days u pay for something you expect them to do and they never do it disappointed

NEW REVIEW (Rating decrease): Was really disappointed that the tostada chicken salad had 2-3 day old dried up nasty chicken in it, as I watched them cook fresh chicken on the grill. What's the point in serving day old food - except to lose business. Do better. OLD REVIEW: Tuesday good. On the healthier side.

Got a tostada and taco el carbon. They must have been out of thigh meat because the taco had dry dry dry breast meat. The tostada also. This location is notorious for drawer chicken and obviously pre cooking a grip of breast meat and keeping it in the warmer. I attached a picture of my dry old chicken. We ended up making eggs for dinner. Thanks EPL

It’s happened way too many times where they served me burnt rice and chicken. I’ve complained to the manager about it and she was apologetic and recooked the rice and chicken. I came back a different day and it happened again so we no longer go there anymore. So unfortunately I have to drive a little further out to the murrieta location which I’ve never gotten burnt rice from there. I don’t know how the menifee location staff members have gotten away with serving their customers burnt food. I am sure I am not the only one. They need to fire all of the managers and retrain all of their staff members on how to properly cook the food without overcooking it.

After waiting over 40 minutes in the drive thru, and paying something like $8.99, I get basically two greasy fried corn tortillas. So sad especially when I just left stater brothers where I picked up my Easter prime rib for $6.99 a pound. Hummm $6.99 for a pound of prime beef or $8.99 for two fried corn tortillas. Get a grip El Pollo or at the very least speed up your drive thru and serve good quality food like advertised in your ads. Otherwise jack in the box has 2 tacos filled 4x as much for $1.29 also DISCUSTING but at least has some filling in it. My goodness WAKE up or shut down. Stop wasting peoples time and money!!!!! It's not rocket science
