My favourite meal in Mexico by far!! We ate like royalty. The food was beyond fabulous, as was the wine and service. Run by a beautiful Italian family that clearly have a deep passion for their National cuisine. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor beautiful. We enjoyed delicious homemade ravioli & Gnocci (so soft! Melts in your mouth!) - but the starters were also an experience in themselves! If we had stayed longer we would have come back ever night for sure. Could not recommend a restaurant more 🙌

A nice italian restaurant near the City center. It has a beautiful backyard, where you can take a seat and escape from the noise of the city. They have lot of pasta options from you can choose from. We really enjoyed our meal and time there. Worth the visit!

Fantastic Italian, beautiful interior and lovely Italian owners. Burrata salad to start was gorgeous. Local burrata produced in Merida by Italian community. Meatball gnocchi was great. Had carbonara which was good but slightly lacked seasoning, salt and pepper were added. Delighted we visited on our short stay in Merida. Best of luck to the owners !!

French/Italian restaurant. Decent ravioli, the fettuccine was average. Pasta Greicia was almost good. Steak Au poivre weak in flavour. They were 8 people dining and the kitchen was slammed. Older POS so bill split was glacial. Will not return.

For the love of god. If you sell pasta, please know what al dente is. There is nothing simpler than putting a timer and taking out the pasta at the right moment and nothing worse than carelessly leaving the pasta too long so that it resembles a soup more than a pasta. The sauce was also watery and with bland taste. To be fair we had previously had a good pasta here, but this one was no more than a 4.3. Last time ordering from here RESPONSE: point taken on the delivery, but if you know it will cook more, then please adjust the cook time accordingly!

Came here for some bites with my buddies. The food was wonderful their deserts were great. But due to the seasons, me and my friends all left with many mosquito stings, store manager mention they are doing something about it. Hopefully, they sort it out as the food were really good. AMEX accepted 🤣

This restaurant has been combined with another called “Zinc,” so we had a bit of confusion finding Carboni. It seems new management or a merger with Zinc has completely changed Carboni. The menu is completely different than what we saw online prior to coming — and so were the pictures of food versus what we received. We decided to stay - the server was very kind. Unfortunately their food was not good. My wife and I both ordered pasta and it was so incredibly overcooked it barely held its shape. We had the polpette and carbonara and both were very disappointing and unappetizing. Neither of us finished our food despite being quite hungry. I hope they improve the quality of their food as it is a very cute spot.

We came here because it’s one of the few places in Mérida with gluten-free pasta. Upon arrival I was told the only thing that was gluten-free and vegetarian was spaghetti with tomato sauce. (Something I could have made at home, and I probably should have). The pasta was undercooked and the “sauce” had no substance, it was as if they opened a can of tomato paste and added it to the noodles. My spouse’s meal was also disappointing: fettuccine and one large meatball. The “meatball” tasted like meatloaf, there was hardly any sauce, and they gave him stale bread. All this for $500 pesos.

I went to Carboni 2 times a year ago and those were the best pastas I’ve had in a long time. Amazing taste on the 4 plates we took, great wine and service. I just went back at their new location and this was the worst pastas I’ve had in a long time. From 100 to 0. The place doesn’t have any charm anymore, and the 4 plates were bad. Sauce liquide et fade et mauvais cocktails. Malheureusement nous n’y retournons plus.
