Opinions de Alejandro's at Front Street Station Mesquite
Today is my birthday and my daughter was telling me about this place, 1st I was skeptical to go there, not sure about it then we were about to be there. The minute we walked in it was a satisfying feeling. The host was extremely good and polite. We order the food and was the bomb. Overall I am happy we were there. I recommend this place to others. Support your local businesses 😍😍
Nice, cozy restaurant in downtown Mesquite. Believe me when I say - get the elote! Omg it was so good. We also had the queso del campo, which was very good. The chips they bring to the table are better than most. For main course I had tequila lime chicken, boyfriend had chimichanga. Our server was nice. It was quiet when we got there at 5:45 on a Wednesday. When we were leaving around 7, it was getting much busier. We will definitely be back, lots more on the menu we want to try!
Caden is an amazing bartender, good food, cocktails, and overall service was solid. House frozen margarita was surprisingly good. Old fashioned was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Tonight was my 1st time visiting. From the time I walked in Kaden was like my personal bartender, even though he had several other customers. I received personal attention and the drinks were amazing, I forgot I needed to order food. Will definitely be back! Kaden is the heart of Alejandro’s! The food was really good once I remembered to order (stuffed guacamole). You won’t be steered wrong and one of kaden’s recommendations
Our first visit tonight. Love the layout. Service was great. I had Mahi Mahi, with cream lemon sauce to kill for. Large portions so you don't leave hungry. Will soon return. Great location, plenty of parking.
Alejandro’s is such an awesome spot on the mesquite square! If you haven’t been before, go check it out. Drinks are great, atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is great! Kaden is a wonderful bartender!! Go support this new amazing place in mesquite!! It’s up and coming!
Great food and service, this is a family owned restaurant that makes everything from scratch. If you want your food fast go to on the border, they will be happy to microwave your food. Yes there are growing pains as they are less than a year old have patience and your experience will be great.
First time foodies here! Definitely recommend the Del Campo Queso. The Pozole and Stuffed Avocados were a 10/10. Can’t wait to try the Sam Moon Fajitas next. Love the Chef cuisine and chill vibe. We will be returning customers!
5 stars! The food is delicious and I loved the inviting atmosphere and the friendly service. The food came out in a timely manner and the staff was very attentive and takes care of their customers! I recommend this place!
We love Alejandro's! The food and the staff are equally wonderful. Shrimp Tacos! Stuffed Avocado! Best Skinny Margarita in Dallas!
Great atmosphere, great salsa, food amazing..
As someone who has lived in Mesquite for 5 years now, I can't believe we hadn't noticed this place before now. We went here on a whim after craving elotes and looking up who around us had them. We sat at the bar just because it was easy and the bartender was amazing. I had the watermelon spritz and my husband had the El patron Margarita. Both were excellent. We started with the elotes of course. INCREDIBLE. The corn tasted fresh and the scoop of barbacoa inside of it definitely elevated the flavor. We ended up eating it as a dip for a chip so it was so delicious. The salsa is pretty great too. Not your typical tomato salsa. We then had the big Sam Bass fajita meal, which comes with grilled pork, beef, chicken, and bacon wrapped shrimp. Wow. I honestly didn't have the highest hopes because I'm pretty particular about beef fajitas, but these were great. The big test for me is whether or not you can bite through the beef without having to pull or tear, and you absolutely can. The flavor was great on all the items and putting it all together into a fajita was even better. If it hadn't have been so late at night we probably would have stayed and hung out for quite a while, but we closed down the place. I seriously can't wait to go back. Price-wise, I would say it's a little cheaper than the typical upper-end Mexican restaurant. And speaking with one of the owners, Jason, at the end was a delight. Can you tell I love this place? I'm sure we'll be back within a week. Highly recommend.
Came here for a customer dinner for the first time. Salsa was some of the best I've ever had, so flavorful. Queso and margaritas also very good. I had the stuffed avocado which was fantastic. Would for sure go again if I am in the area.
This is my favorite spot. Friendly staff, great food, and the bartender makes a wicked Whiskey Sour!
I can't put into words. The food was so amazing. Fresh and so good. We were there for a work function that was already hard. Saying goodbye to a coworker, leader, friend. The waiter was so amazing and kind.. he made it so nice. The food was clearly cooked fresh. Everything was amazing. Thank u for an amazing dining experience. Rachel recommended this place and I am so glad she did.
First time eating here and it definitely won't be my last! Food was excellent 👌 and the staff were very friendly. I will be recommending to me friends and family for sure.
We used Alejandro’s for a midday catering event for 70 people. The food was delicious and the presentation & setup was incredibly logical. If you cater often, you know what I mean by that. Jason was very easy to make arrangements with and made the process run seamlessly. We will absolutely be using their catering services again & recommend that you give them an opportunity as well.
This place is phenomenal! The staff are so kind, and the food tastes amazing! The salsa they serve is brown, which I usually don't like, but the salsa tasted great to me. The only thing I didn't like was that the tortillas were a little hard and the food was a little expensive. Nonetheless I highly recommend this place.
I really feel bad that I didn't take the time to take pictures of the food but it was so good we didn't even think about it. So my step daughters and I ate here the other night and I will say that the first time experience was AMAZING. Not really knowing what we wanted our server who was extremely friendly and helpful recommended to try one of the skillet appetizers that sounded weird but was extremely great ...it was queso with salsa and guacamole and sour cream all mixed together.... definitely will be getting this again. I also loved the salsa because not only because it tasted good but that they serve it heated which is the way I like it instead of cold like most places serve it. The sweet tea was just right. My step daughter ordered the fish tacos and wasn't the normal fried fish that people serve but apparently good because she tore those up. Now I ordered the chicken enchiladas but with queso and I will say everything was great including the rice which I normally don't eat but this actually had flavor but the queso that was used was extremely thick and I added some of the salsa to try and thin it out and give the cheese sauce some flavor but I just ended up eating the chicken filling instead. Other than that I definitely will be back and recommend this place to my friends and will post pictures later.
Always fresh. Always quick. Always delicious. Kayden has taken my order a few times and always delivers great service. Can be a bit more consistent on the salsa, but I definitely recommend Alejandro's.
My parents and I had an early dinner (3:00 pm) and it was quiet. I'm sure business would pick up later after everybody else gets off work. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server, Kaden, was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for Mexican food.
Great food, great service. Must go.
Delicous dessert that wasn't overly sweet, fast and polite service, food was out in record time with melt in your mouth tender meat and creamy stuffed avocado that was sauced perfectly. Been in Texas about 2 years now, best food I have had thus far, if you're looking for Mexican cuisine in the area definitely stop in for a bite.
We had lunch there and it was delicious! The Elote Appetizer was perfect and had just the right amount of spice. We also had the shrimp platter which had huge shrimp! Definitely recommend this restaurant. So nice to have another place to eat besides the same old boring restaurants in Mesquite.
Unbelievable! To find a restaurant of this extreme level and quality in down town Mesquite was stunning! I have eaten at a previous location years ago and it was fantastic, but this is a whole new level! The owner Alex is truly a master chef and I have a new go to restaurant! Isaac and Sienna were as sweet and professional as they could be!
Server was very friendly and answers questions about menu items. We were there in a Saturday around 5:30pm for dinner. We had chicken fajitas, street tacos, fish tacos, and kids chicken strips. All our food was fresh and hot. Chips and queso and guacamole were good too. CTM drink was very good and strong- limit 3. We will be back soon to try the burgers.
Was not a huge fan of at least what I ordered, chips and salsa are extremely good. Only reason for the 5 Stars is that Kaden was an excellent server, paid attention to the table, bussed the table accordingly and was extremely polite and accommodating. 10/10 did not have to ask him for anything as he stayed on top of his duties to our table. Thank you again!
The building itself isn’t too big so it’s very cozy inside, and when you get inside the people are just so nice! Then when you order the food it comes out so hot that even the table gets heated over time. Not to mention the taste is on par with higher classes restaurants. I came here once and I now plan on coming with many of my friends and partner. Thank y'all for coming to Mesquite and making delicious food.
I absolutely love this place to death!!!! when they came into the neighborhood, My husband and I were so excited! We frequent it 2-3 times a week. The owner's great. The employees are like family now! The food is greatThe atmosphere's great! When you walk in, You know everybody! If I could give it 10 stars, I would
The fajitas here are the thing of legend. I used to frequent their spot in Rockwall on Dalrock before it moved to Royce city. Last visit was 8 years ago. Came back with major anxiety for the first time since then, hoping it resembled the fajitas I used to devour. Wow. Like going back in time. Was then, and is today, the ABSOLUTE end all be all fajita in the dfw metroplex. But you must ask Alex to burn the veggies, it concentrates the salt flavor and sends it off the charts. You’ll be full but sad about it when you leave because you just wish you could fit one more. Congrats on the expansion Alex!
We love the addition of Alejandro's to the downtown Mesquite area and it has become a spot we regularly visit. The queso, elote, and stuffed avocado are our favorites and they have the best salsa. We hope Alejandro's calls Mesquite home for years to come. Update 2/21/25: We still love Alejandro's, and while my go-to seasonal order is the pozole, the new Mexican Pho gives it a run for its money. Highly recommend giving it a try while it is on the menu for a limited time!
come in almost daily for lunch and always here for dinner on fridays, front of house always makes me and my coworkers feel like family, back of house always gets our food out on time and they have a specials menu worth checking out. Hats off to Seanna and Kaden for making us lifetime customers
Food was excellent. Atmosphere was tasteful and cozy. Music was good and not too loud you had to talk loud to be heard. Server was friendly but forgot silverware. I would definitely go back. Everyone left satisfied.
We had a great experience. Dinner was so delicious! Kaden was amazing, very informative, kind and super respectful. Give this dude a raise!!!
A surprise for us, wasn't sure about this restaurant, but surprisingly really good food, price in line with other Mexican restaurants. Drinks were great. There were 7 of us dinning.
Food and service, as always, are exceptional. We try to sit at the bar where you can engage the bartenders and other guests in conversation. Three tv screens cater to sports fans. Definitely has that neighborhood feel & atmosphere, not like a chain restaurant. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Food is good. Complimentary chips and salsa, excellent taste. Had the street tacos chicken and al pastor (pork) and queso dip, they were good too. I didn't mind that the tacos didn't come with any sides but my friend did a little, so maybe others will mind too. But overall I recommend it. The place is small so probably not great for big parties. They also have outside sitting which is nice but probably not in the coming months.
Had the tequila tacos. 10/10 recommend them our waiter was polite and followed up with us. Excellent place for a quick lunch drinking work hours
Love the michelada, the combination of the food is these best. they are nice and kind 100%recommended.
I love this little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. The waitress and bartender that are usually there are super sweet and fun to talk to. They have a lunch menu, and the tacos are to die for! I usually get 2 orders of lunch tacos, a margarita, and I can't leave without having a shot or two for my waitress!
Every time I eat here (my office is also in Mesquite Square, so it is often), the food is great. Love the vibe too.
I dont write good reviews often but feel this place deserves more credit. Ive come here a few times and its usually pretty slow, slower than they deserve. Environment is friendly, music is country themed, servers are friendly and helpful, and the food is bomb! Street tacos are awesome! The fried avocado is amazing too. This place definitely deserves more customers. Come try it out.
I'm so elated to find such a great gym in mesquite. It has been our experience that we are highly disappointed with most places that open up with a lot of hype.... Couple weeks ago we randomly came across this place that's been here for 4 years. I can't believe we drove past this place for four years to be over charged and underserved. Jason is a great manager and all of his staff exceed in all expectations. The food is exceptional the services exceptional The atmosphere is very inviting and very comfortable.
Not sure how we’ve overlooked this little gem! The food was so good. My favorite was the elote!! A must try!! Our waitress Vickie was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back with the family.
Our Favorite Regular dine and drinks establishment. We have been regulars for a minute. We love the chips, hands down the best salsa anywhere but it is on the hot spicy side, just the way we like it. In fact we usually buy some take home. The menu is unique and simple, everything on it is good but the hamburger is off the chain, big enough to feed my wife and I. We sometimes order one and share it sometimes to go. They have the best stuffed shrimp and jalapeno anywhere. If you're hungry and want something really good enough for two three or four people get the Sam Bass fajitas. It has shrimp, beef, pork, and chicken Plus Diablo shrimp my favorite on top. You want me to disappointed I guarantee it. This isn't a huge place but it's a very cozy place with some of the best staff, Cooks but the bartender, Caden is one of a kind, a young man that is a hard-working and very likable human being. We consider him a friend and enjoy visiting with him while we're there. The place wouldn't be the same without him. There is another sweet young thing that has always so helpful and friendly, and funny. I feel ashamed that I can't remember her name but I a picture of her and okay so check them out. A good place for a drink, they have some badass margaritas, and lots of Wonderful drinks. Come by on a Friday and you might catch us. It has really helped transform that part of downtown. Only thing I can say negative about the place is there to go margaritas are too damn expensive and caught me off guard when I ordered a couple to go watch the band play. If I'd known I was going to spend $50 for two margaritas and tip, I would have gone without them. On the positive side they were huge and very good. Once a month they have outdoor concerts right behind it in the new Front Street Center with a stage area. Check it out it is very cool with an excellent vibe.
Kaden is excellent service handling the bar and waiter when it is a small crowd the time before dinner. Main cook (chef) from Vietnam excellent preparation of both my appetizer , elote, and my entree, Mahi Mahi with shrimp and more that served on a cast iron skillet where it is cooked on too. Portions are great, chips and salsa authentic Mexican dishes. The price for my Mahi Mahi with the size worth $27 Update I ordered to go for my late dinner and breakfast tomorrow, the same Mahi Mahi dish, yet I requested the chef to grill my veggies. The chef has been working with this hidden gem restaurant for over 16 years. He may be from Vietnam. However, he will meet with the customers who requested him that I asked to do the above noted on my update. Also, I let the Chef (I forgot to ask his name or I forgot his name) know that he cooked that Mahi Mahi excellent for I'm a Pacific Islander from Guam whom takes pride on how seafood is cooked and prepared too. Plus, I forgot to mention that I let Kaden know that I ate the chips with the elote, which he said he likes that way too. Finally, this restaurant gives military veteran discounts whom they verify with your ID too. I totally recommend this hidden gem authentic Mexican restaurant.
Was looking to treat myself and I scoped this place out on Google. Their site had fancy and exquisite looking plates so I HAD to check it out! Got there around 4 pm not too busy at that time. A nice young man named Kaden sat me at a lovely window booth looking out on the square on Main Street and promptly and politely took my order. The food came out very quick but was very fresh and just as fancy and exquisite as the pictures on Google! It tasted just as good as it looked! I had the tequila lime chicken plate for $15 and worth every penny! This place is super nice clean and very warm and inviting. Would be an ideal date spot for all ages and great for families and friend groups (they have large tables to accommodate big parties) or just a hungry person looking for good grub like me; as it offers a cozy yet modern and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and I’m so glad to have had the chance to sit and talk to Kaden, he was so refreshing to speak with and an absolutely amazing waiter/bartender! Keep chasing your dreams Kaden and well done all around Alejandro’s At Front Street Station! I will be back many many times to come! 🖤
I ordered from Alejandro’s through DoorDash, and my main concern is always the possibility of receiving someone else's meal or making mistakes with my order. However, Alejandro’s has never let that happen. They package the orders carefully, so I always know exactly what I'm getting, and I've never encountered an error with my order. I recently ordered their shredded chicken chimichanga, and it might just be my favorite meal ever. The chimichanga is not only delicious, but it has a generous size, and you can really taste the tender shredded chicken. Their queso sauce is even better! That's one of the main things I look forward to when I order from them.
This was our first time, they start you with chips and salsa, the salsa was home made excellent spicy but not too spicy. Then we ordered the Sam Bass Fajitas it had the beef chicken and pork, and bacon wrapped shrimp. The meat actually had flavor, real flavor and not bland like the chain restaurants, and the bacon wrapped shrimp all I can say is crispy bacon you can’t go wrong it’s pure genius. The beans, usually after trying the beans at a restaurant the next time in I tell them to not even bring them. That won’t happen here the beans are extremely delicious as a matter of fact for the first time ever I carried the beans home. Then we ended the dinner with sopapilla all I can say is just do it order them it’s worth it. So if you are tired of the everyday bland restaurants and you feel as if everywhere else is just the same food with different decor I recommend Alejandro’s you’ll be happy you did. A
The cool building and quaint setting in downtown Mesquite, TX is amazing! So glad they opened up in this historic building. We now have a very nice computer super close and we probably go there way too much! But it's soooo good! The food is prepared excellently by the chef and all the staff has been very good to us. If you like chips and queso, make sure to try one of their skillet versions. Absolutely superb!

Food was DELICIOUS.. Service was GREAT. Kaden was our server and he was a great server and made the BEST drinks.. we enjoyed all of our food and will be going back for another visit.. if you’re looking for GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE give them a try!!
What a great place in downtown Mesquite! My wife saw a Tik-Tok about it so we tried it for lunch. Long story short, we'll be back soon! I've never been a fan of refried beans so I always ask for no beans. However, my wife had the beans and raved about them. So I tried them... YUMMY! I asked the server to get me a bowl of the beans! I had the stuffed, grilled avocado which was very good. My wife had the steak fajitas and they were next level! I think we might have found our new favorite Mexican food joint!
We were there at lunch, there was a large party so service was a bit slow; I've heard plenty of other where speed isn't an issue, so that shouldn't be a regular concern. I had some great shrimp and it was worth waiting for anyway. Give it a try if you haven't, you'll be happy you did.
This establishment is in the historical downtown square of Mesquite. The bldg itself has its own colourful past. The decor is modern rustic. They have a large bar area where you can sit and watch the 3 tvs. Along the wall are table and chairs and in the middle are high boy tables and chairs. They can actually accommodate large groups They have an outdoor patio. Parking is limited, yet you can park across the street or behind them on the newly renovated Front Street. The music is country and Mexican. The staff was attentive. Now to the food. The menu is limited. Yet they offer complentary Sala and chips. Delicious. I had the Sour cream chicken enchiladas. Delicious. The fajitas were tasty. The bean soup, refried beans had a little too much lime in them, otherwise was tasty. So come on by and discover this hidden gem in downtown Mesquite.
I was seriously surprised by this place in the middle of downtown Mesquite...It has a rustic, casual vibe and the parking is good. There's an outdoor patio with live music, too. It would make for a great casual date night spot any day of the week. I started out with the salsa which is to die for! Seriously, if I didn't control myself, I would easily get full on the salsa and chips alone. It's the perfect consistency and SO flavorful! I ordered the shrimp tacos for my entree and omg, I will definitely order them again. I love anything shrimp and these do not disappoint. I want to try the sea bass next and the sopapillas. I'll definitely be back.

Service was kinda slow. But she was attentive - so my advice don’t go if in a hurry but definitely go if you have time to linger and enjoy the place. Pazole. Marinated chicken breast. Elote. Churros. 2 bar drinks. The food drinks all very good. My reason for 4 stars is the dessert was brought out before any of the food….. I will come back. When Not pressed for time. Everyone and everything was enjoyable.
Been coming here for almost a year, strictly for the exceptional service. Kaden has been a large part of our recurrence with his outstanding service and all he does for the restaurant. If you come here make sure to get him as your server or just sit at the bar and get both!
Appreciated them accommodating our large group on a Sunday after church where there were long wait times to be seated everywhere else nearby. I had the frozen pina colada w/ added mango topper & chicken chimichanga w/ added peppers & onions. I didn’t like that it came with no pico de gallo or sour cream & as a personal preference I would’ve liked another cheese inside besides Cheddar or whatever that was. Overall solid choice.
We visited on a recent Friday afternoon. The salsa had a great flavor and we really liked the campo queso. We had street tacos and chicken fajitas. The portions were generous and the food was good. We really enjoyed the massive sopapillas for dessert.
My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon, there was no one there when we arrived but people slowly started coming. It's a cute little restaurant, it has a warm rustic feel. Our server brought us chips and salsa, the salsa is good not too spicy. From the menu I ordered the Carne Asada Street Taco dinner and my husband the Front Street Fajita. My tacos were good, they come with charro beans and potatoes. The beans were overly salted, I was not able to eat them. The potatoes were my favorite. My husband's fajitas were pretty good too but he said the same about the beans and his rice was undercooked. Overall, it's a nice place but the food could of been better for the price. Service was great, they only had 1 person working and he did amazing! It's pretty pricey but we may give it another try sometime in the future...
Mahi Mahi was great with the veggies BUT THE STAR OF THE SHOW IS ....THAT SALSA AND CHIPS! I had to order the biggest salsa to take home. Love the service
I've been a couple times to try a few different things. I can't get over the taste of the rice and beans. I'm not sure what it is they add to those two food items but I am not a fan! Now, the service was awesome both times. The salsa was definitely a hit for me!! Sour cream enchiladas, not so much. Mahi Mahi was immaculate, like absolutely my favorite!!! Last night, we tried the Sam Bass Super Fajitas which was also a hit for me!!! The pork was super tender and juicy, bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious! I'll definitely skip on beans and rice moving forward but I will go back for the rest! Ah, can't forget the Queso Del Campo also a yes!!

We were the first ones to get there at 12pm and were the last table to get served.... There were only 2 other tables, it took them 1 hour to serve our food and over 30 minutes to take our order. The food was delicious but service, unfortunately was not!
For the past two visits. I was very disappointed in the service. They only had one waitress and a bartender waiting on tables aswell . It’s a shame because the food is good . I’m not a big fan on the bartender being a waiter aswell . It took about 20 mins to get my drink because of that issue
Kaden is awesome! Unfortunately the rest of the staff is subpar. The waitresses talk about people and are obnoxious. The drinks kept us coming back as the margaritas as phenomenal. Unfortunately I overheard the other staff. So sad to lose the best, actually only, margaritas that I ever loved. Sorry Kaden!
Food was excellent if you don't mind waiting an hour to get it. I don't know what the deal is with the cooks but you need to find some that have their acts together. Place was half full and another table that was already there were brought there food after we had already been there 35 minutes. There are other places with food just as good that wouldn't take any longer than 15 to 20 minutes during a rush.
First time trying this establishment that recently opened and they are good. The establishment is clean. It did take a little bit to get greeted and seated which was ok for me. It looks like there were 2 servers working for a Saturday lunch. Both were very friendly. Just a tad slow at times but if I was in a rush may not be good but I was okay with it. They still were doing their best as I can see. The food itself was very good. The chips were warm and great, the salsa was a lil spicier than I would like but it was tolerable. I really liked how it was not just your typical red salsa, it was a slight brownish color. Also ordered a small queso cup with ground beef which was surprisingly good and well seasoned, had a slight smokey flavor. I ordered the beef and chicken fajita, which came with beans, rice, fixing, and flour or corn tortillas. The beef by itself was really salty but having it with the fixins and flour tortilla balanced the saltiness. The borracho beans were super salty, I substituted the Mexican rice for Cilantro lime rice which unfortunately had a waxy taste/texture. For dessert, the sopapilla, which was awesome! It was light, flaky, and fried and you can put butter and drizzle honey yourself. The only thing that would top that dessert would have been vanilla icecream which they didn't have. Overall, I would come back to try other dishes. Would definitely come back for the warm chips, salsa, queso with meat, and sopapilla!

Service was great but the food, not so great. My husband liked the salsa. The queso tasted like velveeta. The charro beans were overpowered by beer. Couldn’t finish my refried beans bc they tasted like beer so I’m assuming they’re the charro beans smashed. Also, the restroom didn’t have a baby changing table. I hope they get better with time..
Sat quickly! Good chipd and salsa. Very nice staff. Queso was ehhh. Fajitas were gross and chewy. The Buracho beans were not really Buracho... they were just seasoned. Took a while to get the food.
Bad decision!!! We chose to dine at this restaurant due to the ratings, but our experience was a bad one. Cheese and sauces were Salty and tasted very processed. Steak skillet queso was thick and Salty with literally less than a teaspoon of Steak. Also ordered the stuffed avocados with Steak and the steak portion was the sane...about a teaspoon. I sent both the appetizer and entree back. Refrifd beans were super Salty and tasted like they were from the can. The strawberry magarita was horrible as well. It tasted like complete sugar. The veggies on my husband's chicken fajita were completely burned. He had to remove his meat from the skillet and eat if from a saucer instead. Such a disappointment! I'm not sure whether it's because their weekday cook isn't skilled or what, but even the food quality was bad. The only decent thing we enjoyed was the salsa. Oh, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp were Salty (cheap bacon) and overcooked. Ugh...never again!
Tex mex restaurant where they only play country music. Which sucks. They also like to keep the temperature at 76 which is pretty ridiculous considering the kitchen is open and it’s hot. The food is alright….nothing amazing. The drinks are on the sweeter side. Probably won’t come back.
The food was cold when I got it. The waitress cleaned 1/2 our table off and left the other 1/2 dirty. The sour cream sauce was bad. Not a good experience.
Food was really good but service was terrible is the reason for 2 star. It took over 20 minutes to get water to the table and we were stopping staff asking who was getting our drink and food order. I was never offered a refill and there was a 20% tip automatically added to our bill with a table of 6. The wait staff seemed very confused and unorganized. No way I would have tipped 20% for service this poor. We were in a hurry to get somewhere is the only reason we didn’t argue the bill.
The food here was really good, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Our server (a woman) seemed like she didn’t want to serve us from the moment we sat down. She was short, inattentive, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. It’s a shame, because the kitchen did a great job with the food, but the service really took away from the overall experience. Good food deserves better hospitality. We will not patron here again even though we are new to mesquite.
Service sub par, 15 minutes to get a beer, greesy fajita chimichanga not worth the 17 bucks, hot sauce meh, queso tasted out of a can, sopapias weren't right either. If we ever go back it would only be for a mixed drink not the food!

Visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. Seemed busy but we were sat immediately. Host brought us chips/salsa and then we waited for 15 mins before deciding to leave. At least 3 servers walked past us and never greeted us or took our drink order. If they were really busy we would understand but we could see all the servers standing in a hallway near the kitchen talking and hanging out. We would’ve even been fine with a simple, “I’ll be right with you”. Bad first impression for a new business. Don’t think we will be giving it another chance.
Salsa taste like nothing but peppers, the elotes tasted like chili peppers and runny watery ricos cheese sauce. We stayed hoping the entrees would be better.. no tasted like chili peppers no flavor everything looks the same and it tastes the same. Skimpy servings. I didn't eat ANY of their food I tasted it.....can't get the flavor out of my mouth. I didn't enjoy one single thing except the sweet little waitress. Spent 60 bucks on what smelled and tasted like vomit.
Friday lunchtime: new waitress. Couldn't answer questions about several menu items. Two guys sitting at the bar must have been owners/mgmt. Offered no help to clueless waitress. Food not good. Stuffed avocados looked like they had been eaten and given back up. Quesadilla not as good asTaco Cabana! Sad for my hometown of Mesquite! Horrible!
So my husband ordered the beef street tacos and they came out tasting like ammonia. I ordered the fish tacos and the fish was so overcooked that it was crumbling like dry chicken. No, flavor absolutely gross. Do not eat there The only thing that was even remotely decent about the place was the 2 servers. They were very friendly other than that the food was nasty
First time coming and probably won’t come back. Creepy guy staring at me at the bar..Food was ok but there was a horrible smell in the building that made me nauseous to the point I couldn’t finish my food. Please check into the odor.
