Best place in south Austin hands down. Pastor is delicious, machetes are huge good for 2 ppl. I have been coming here for like 3 yrs not a regular but everytime I come is so good.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican street food, this is the joint to go to. A gem hidden in south Austin, and you’d be a fool not to try it.

Perfection!!! The machete was delicious, I ask for half shrimp half steak, the meet was delicious and the shrimp well clean and well cooked.

Just tried this place for the first time and it was fantastic. The fish taco was the best but also enjoyed the chicken fajitas taco and pastor taco. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Also had an aguas frecas that I can't pronounce or spell but it was really good.

Got a Burro King Kong, which was absolutely delicious and huge! Was good for two meals. Very friendly and fast service. Highly recommend.

I love this place. Get a machetito with two choice of meats and share it or save some for later. Wonderful and friendly staff. They deserve your business

Great service, super friendly. Had the Azteca Machete. Good flavor, tortilla crisped just right, no complaints. This place made my crap day better. This is the spot.

I'm so glad I heard about this place and gave it a try! The prices and the quality of their food are really good! It's a small food truck tucked right next to Texaco. I couldn't find it so called and the really friendly person working there came out to the parking lot and waved me over! I went bc I wanted to try their Machete Tacos. SO delicious! I got the chicken in green sauce and my companion got the fried pork.We got the minis and they were 2 really good sized portions! We got a mango fresco to share (the drinks are BIG too) and it was so refreshing made with real mangos. I can't wait to go back, my mouth is watering thinking about it.

If you like large portions, this food trucks for you great prices , food is always top notch. Love seeing the plants around the trailer to has noice atmosphere.

I had came in not realizing that they had closed for the night and was about to leave. The gentleman noticed and told me that it was okay for me to order food despite of them being closed. I’m thankful for the nice service

I love Casita Nicole’s. I’ve eaten at the new and old location. Breakfast tacos, machetes, King Kong burrito… I dream about them they’re so good. Always get the agua Fresa

Wow the machete was incredible! Homemade corn tortilla filled with nicely cooked chicken and queso. They let me add mixed vegetables on one side and the vegetables were incredible. It was filled with stir fried carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and cooked onions (not raw thankfully). Came with a side of lettuce and lime wedges. How can we help them open up a brick and mortar restaurant! $13 for mini machete which was a great size. I shared with my partner.

This place is the truth. Went for lunch with friends and we all had our minds blown. We do taco lunches weekly to try different spots and this place holds its own in the top tier of what we've experienced. The tortillas for the machetes are thicker than regular tortillas and that's a good thing. Their texture is wonderful. The meats were excellent and the green salsa gives everything a nice flavorful kick. The Pambazo is a fried bread sandwich and the filling with the meat and potatoes in it was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend giving this place a shot for a lunch when you can. ... Update: I've been back several times and the Machetes are just as good as they always were. I especially like the tripas with both red and green salsa. You can be a pig and eat a whole one, or you can split it into 2 or 3 meals. Yes, it really is that big. Size wouldn't matter if it wasn't so very tasty, but it's delicious and enormous and both of those things are very good things.

My first Machete experience! These tacos are so unique and very large. The salsas were so tasty and helped enhance the tacos! Chicken Tinga was 10/10 - and Campechano was also so tasty. Highly recommend!

Had the Monster breakfast tacos and it was one of the best breakfast tacos I've had in South Austin. The size of a burrito and filled with eggs, potatoes, cheese, chorizo, bacon, beans all for $5. Can't wait to come back and check out the rest of their menu. Super friendly folks as well.

We came from Dallas to the Besame Mucho Fest ,and my boyfriend found this 💎 100% RECOMMENDED. I had a blue machete de chicharron prensado and floor de calabaza. I loved it! My boyfriend had a breakfast one with egg, chorizo and potatoes and he loved it too!!! They're BIG. I tried to finish mine, but I couldn't 😆

I liked the machete but I ordered rice on the side and it tasted freezerburnt.

The machete tacos are huge! You can get two mats and cheese in them before having to pay for extra sides. The food is prepared well, served hot and is delicious.

Love the machete tacos, I gave a 3 for atmosphere because it's a taco truck, don't get me wrong I love food trucks. I love the location because I'm close to manslaughter...

We were looking for the flor de calaza quesadilla, sad because they didn't haven't so I ended order a pambazo my daughter and partner order a machete, we took a piece of cheesecake home yummy, not to sweet. Thanks

Supporting small business is always great. The best machete and great size. Their online menu has different prices than what I was charged. But it’s because the old menu it’s posted. I noticed that all restaurants rise their prices because of inflation. Just wonder if it’s going to stay the same after inflation comes back down.

Located right by a gas station but there are patio tables. Machete is the thing to get here and it’s huge but they do have a mini option.

Food is very good. The sopes are great and the machete taco is worth it. Sometimes service is a little slow but that should be a sign of how good it is when you have a long line welp.had to downgrade a star today due to inconsistant hours. Google will claim open at 10 or close at 10 but would be shutdown at any given hour or day. Its a shame cause the food really is good 🙁 should update your schedule and give yoursel a few hours in the middle of day or afternoon. Just a suggestion

Came here for the machete taco and was not impressed. It was 40$ for 2 machete tacos okay lunch time. I was surprised bc the menu states 14$. Won’t be coming back here. Shoulda just went to sonic.

I went to this placec because it was highly recommended by a friend. I got to the window and was waiting for the man to take my order. When he finally decided to come to the window he just stared at me,I proceeded to ask if he took debit card,mind you there is a machine visible in the window of the trailor. He told me no they didnt take debit card.Not sure what was wrong with him or if he just didnt want my business but I hope when I decide to go try the food next time someone else is there and they will be happy to serve me.😟😞

Flys everywhere outside this food truck, couldnt eat my meal in peace. Flys going into the trailer because there are no screens. The machete quesdilla with a drink is $18. I'm sorry but this long diaper is flavorless and digusting to look at. See photos.
