The food and atmosphere of this place is great. We went for dinner and there was about a 20 minute wait they were busy. It was worth the wait. The wild west shrimp appetizer was huge. My order of the parmesan crusted chicken was perfect. The waiter was very nice, fast and efficient. We will be back!

The Longhorn Steakhouse in Austin, TX (on South I-35, near Slaughter Rd.) is even better than our home town LongHorn in GA! The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! If you ever have the opportunity to eat there, be sure to ask for the waiter, Daniel. He not only can answer any steak questions or concerns you may have but he is also very thorough and expedites service like few I've seen. Thanks for the great food during our travels!!!

The steaks we got were ok not as good as I expected from a steakhouse but I will say we did get the cheap steak. Now the ribs on the other hand were amazing. Best pork ribs i think I've had and the mashed potatoes were very good as well and super creamy. The buffalo sauce for the wings i think would be better without what seemed like possibly lime but may have been something else. Just had a zestiness to it that has a hint of lime i think and that killed it for me but the wings alone were great. Definitely get the bread and butter it is good. The soda machines seemed to add to much carbonation so the soda were bad tasting but they wouldn't listen to the wait staff when they told them. Went here with a group of friends (6 of us total) a little under an hour before closing. We knew it was a bit rushed but decided to try anyway. The hostess seemed bothered that we showed up as she looked around, checked her watch, and hesitantly seated us. However, when we got seated our experience completely changed. Greg was our server and he was very polite and attentive. He made sure our orders were correct and that we were never missing anything. The food was delicious, I asked for a medium rare NY strip and it was grilled perfectly. The corn on the cob was also fantastic! At the end of the meal, Greg made sure our bill was accurate and got us to go boxes without ever making us feel rushed. Overall, it was a great dining experience with a small hiccup. We would definitely return and ask for Greg!

The steaks were juicy and full of flavor, and the sides were just as delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their quality. Absolutely love coming here for dinner and special events. The food is always delicious and the staff is always top tier! It is a little pricey but you can't go wrong with a dinner here. Always worth the price!

1-1/2 hr wait on Valentine’s Day is a little excessive but to be expected. They knocked the horns off, and grazed the steak with a little fire. Damn the t bone was good. It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I will return soon. Folks I recommend this place damn good steak.

I love the food here appetizers mushrooms with cheese. I usually get the salmon with shrimp and broccoli mash. I am very satisfied with the food and staff very attentive. Bread and butter seal the deal. Awesome place to go after work conference.

Longhorn has never failed to deliver a juicy and flavorful ribeye at a great price. I've paid three times as much for ribeyes elsewhere that fall short of taste/don't compare. I wouldn't recommend the brussels sprouts or the tonion, but the brisket queso is delicious, okra is crispy, and the Texas margarita is always a good deal at $6.49.

Great food, everything was tasty. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is amazing, a must try! The service was fast and the staff is very friendly. Overall a nice atmosphere and great steaks. My only small complaint is I ordered my steak medium well and it came closer to medium but it was juicy. The server explained that the steak with bone in come out closer to medium but that would have been helpful to know beforehand. Our group had a good time.

I got the filet mignon and it’s my favorite here, well seasoned and delicious 😋 the bread is great and I recommend the strawberry salad and fries as the sides!

Enjoyed our dinner with family. I ordered the 9oz filet mignon with asparagus and mash potatoes for sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and was tasty. My Jack n Coke was delicious too. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and presentable and so was the restroom.

Went already to several longhorn locations but at this particular one I had the best experience so far. All of them are good and the taste is basically the same. But at this location the service was just astounding. Super fast and super nice. Preferred a ribeye steak with corn on the knob and fries. The food was super delicious. The steak was cooked on point and super juicy. Had a four sixes IPA which was also super delicious - if you like IPA bears. Definitely my favorite longhorn location now.

Service was great, atmosphere was okay watched football game and celebrated my kiddos good grades. The server was polite, funny and always there when you needed her. Husband had the steak, I had teriyaki chicken and of course kiddo chicken tenders fries. The bartender was a little loud and upset someone was sat in her area and let the entire bar area know about it. She was a little rude about it. So I calmly asked if it was because we were sat near there we can go some where else. Our waitress said no. It is so unfortunate that people are so unhappy and have to act this way and others hear it.

I've eaten at this location several times and I've never had a poor experience. Even when we have had large family events here, service was still on point. They have an open parking lot and their front door is wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is decorated in a cowboy country theme. Their mixed drinks are normally poured heavily. I love their sweet tea! Their food is always cooked to perfection and tasty. They recently stopped serving the prime rib steak. That was one of our favorite meals so we are super sad about that one. They did bring back the street corn and lamb chops !

Brandon and the manager here were amazing. We had a little problem with our order but they rectified the problem and were more than awesome!! Will come back for sure. We didn’t make a big deal about it either. But they still made sure it was correct.

I have never had a steak here that wasn't cooked the way I ordered. I always get the filet medium rare. My wife gets the filet and lobster and agrees that for the buck, it is as good as you can get. We eat at much more expensive steakhouses, and really feel like we are throwing our money away most times. I also love the chicken fried steak here. It is Nolan Ryan beef. Tender, crispy. Definitely hard to find decent chicken fried steak. Usually greasy, tough, or some pre-fab frozen t.v. dinner. Good place to have a beer or drink if you like sports as well.

I LOVE this place!! The food is delicious and they have an excellent wine selection. Perfect for date night or girl's night. Their porterhouse steak is my absolute favorite. This visit was good. Waited about 10 minutes, Waiter was very good, on his A game. Floor under table had salad thrown down, but manager had it cleaned after sitting. We’d not been here before and we had recently had one of the best ribeyes of our lives while in south Texas. Needless to say, my husband and I each ordered the ribeye, the 12 and 20oz. They were cooked to perfection, medium rare as we requested and seasoned so well. Food was good, but slightly under seasoned for my taste, but the stuffed mushrooms were awesome! Our server was very attentive and everything was clean, though kinda dated and in need of refreshing. My steak was not to the requested temperature though they did offer to refire, I declined, because I understand it would be too the looking of most and I didn't want it overcooked at that point. So my honest opinion was for the lunch service... It is a bit overpriced, but if you want a steak, it is a good steak, just be clear what you want.

Waited about 30 minutes to be seated but it was Friday night in Austin, so... We both ordered Jack & Coke which was surprisingly heavy on the Jack. We didn't mind. Our waiter brought bread & butter but no knife which I thought was odd but pulled mine out of my flatware wrap and used it. I ordered the chop steak which came with a salad and I chose the Caesar. Good size, full of flavor and arrived at the table quickly. I requested mashed potatoes as my side item but it showed up with steamed broccoli. 🥦 Hmmm. The expediter insisted it was mine and forced the plate into position in front of me, as if to say, "Not my problem." Our waiter brought my mashed potatoes right away and I ended up keeping the broccoli as well which was actually quite delicious and cooked perfectly. I would order it in the future. My steak was a bit overdone and if weren't for being drown in brown gavy, mushrooms and onions, wouldn't have been very flavorful. The mashed potatoes are whipped full of air which makes for an odd mouth feel and again, not a lot of flavor without butter, salt and pepper. Hubs ordered the same but didn't want a salad so was offered a second side and he chose fried okra. I've never had fried okra either whole or cut at an angle in quite large pieces but it was very tasty and I would order it again. Service was very good.

This was a late night stop for me. Ordered the steak medium but I guess they do a thicker pink cut here. They were able to take it back and correct it for me. I'm a huge Brussel sprouts fan and loves that it was crispy while still having that flavor to it. There were some older leaves in the salad but nothing to send back bc I went at a later time than most. I had Alysa (sp?) and she took great care of me.

This was my first time at a longhorn steakhouse and I was not disappointed! I got the lemon chicken, grilled corn, and the seasoned rice pilaf. Everything was absolutely delicious except the lemon on the chicken was a little too heavy...Otherwise I greatly enjoyed my meal and I will definitely be coming back!

This Longhorn is well-located, right off of the highway. Decoration is Texan-themed and never disappoints. Their menu is varied and offer some affordable lunch options. Food is good, just not great. We had a few different plates, and the shrimp on top of a bed of rice was probably the best.

We thought if we could just get away from that area it wouldn't be bad but somehow in the dining room it was even worse. Honestly it smells like water damage that hasn't been remediated. We couldn't stay, it was too strong. We've been before and the food was really enjoyable, but we cannot handle eating in a space that smells like this. Hope they fix this issue.

This was my First dine-in visit to a restaurant since all the COVID cray that started back in March. We went during non-peak hours which was around 3:30p-4:00p, so there was only one other table there. Service was good. My filet was cooked perfectly, however, it was over salted along with my asparagus, and baked potato, which was disappointing. My Tito's Bloddy Mary's were well made, and dessert was good. I had not been there in over 6 years and I remember the food being over salted back then as well. The food is good, however it just needs a lot less salt, this is why I am only giving it 3 stars instead of 4.

Worst ribeye steaks we ever ate. If there is a lower grade steak than select these were it. Both ordered medium rare, one was cooked correctly one was medium well to almost well done. Very lean, no marbling, no flavor at all.

You should know better. There's absolutely nothing good about this place. Food is disgusting. And it's not cheap. Service is bad. Going here just tells me you are classless and don't know any better. You can get better steak or cheaper steak or better and cheaper steak. Better service. I'm just heartbroken when I get invited here once every year. And the funny thing is it's Texas so it's actually pretty easy to get really good meat. Services screwed up every single time I come here. Slow and they mess up the orders and they forget food. Not smart enough to bring you water when they serve food until your cocktails are ready so you're choking for 15 minutes. But The most importantly it's just not good steak. And they cover it with some disgusting seasoning and use too much of it. Anybody who knows good steak knows it's salt and pepper and that's it. And even then it's grossly over salted. Last two times I went I had to send it back for being too salty. And I love salt. Like I actually travel with my own. Basically if you go here you're uneducated. Because you can get better cheaper and with better service. No excuses. Life is too short. What are you doing?

The restaurant had a very sour musty smell. Our menu's were sticky and dirty and so is the table! The highest end wine on the menu was a screw-top Caymus that tasted terrible. The okra was like choking down an enormous fried dill pickle and way too salty. The green parts of the salad had lots of brown old Parts on it. But I will say our fillet steak was phenomenal.

We've been avoiding going to this restaurant because we've never had a favorable experience there. The service has been generally poor (inexperienced servers with seemingly little-to-no understanding of true customer service), INCREDIBLY salty food, and steaks that needed to be sent back on several occasions. We spoke with the manager/supervisor in those instances, and they were very kind and apologetic, and we're thankful for that, but still decided not to go back. We received a Longhorn gift card for Christmas, so we ordered two meals for curbside pickup tonight. The food was, again, very disappointing. I ordered the pork chops and they were dry and very tough. I'm glad I requested easy on the seasoning because, in spite of that, they were still very salty. My wife ordered the chop steak and could not finish it because of how salty it was (and she generally likes salt). The bread that came with the meal was hard as a rock and did not taste even remotely fresh. We are very disappointed in the food (and service) at this particular Longhorn location.

Holy shit. It’s like the staff were trying to one up each other on who could get the lowest tip. Ordered medium, got it well done. Took a solid 10 minutes after the steak came out to bring out the bread and only because I asked about it. Another 10 minutes after that for one of the sides and only because I had to ask again. Got treated like a bother. Shockingly rude. If my child acted that way to a stranger, I’d be embarrassed, let alone at work in a service centered role.

Food Poisoning and Terrible Service – Stay Away! I used to love this restaurant when it first opened as a LongHorn Steakhouse. The steaks were always cooked perfectly, and the service was top-notch. However, over the past six to nine months, the quality has plummeted. The tables are dirty, the place smells musty, and the overall atmosphere has become quite unpleasant. On my last visit, I found food on my fork, had to send it back, and the steak was over-seasoned and overcooked. To make matters worse, my brother ended up with severe food poisoning after eating there. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a decline in a place that used to be our favorite. I really hope management steps in to turn things around, but for now, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

Recently had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse and what an unpleasant experience we had. First thing, our server was good, understanding. Secondly, we initially got sat at a booth, that was not cleaned (silverware, food, wrappers underneath the table) and had an unpleasant smell. We moved to a different table that was also dirty but not as bad. Got our food quickly, just to send it back due to a raw/rare steak (requested med- rare) and a sweet potato not fully cooked through. Bread was extremely tough. Overall not a great experience, due to the uncleanliness of the restaurant, trash and previous parties food & utensils left underneath a table we got sat at, smell of booth/area, & food quality.

Order food tonight online waited outside for curbside for about an hour then was told my order was given to somebody Else.After talking to manager who kept putting us off with rude unprofessional service. Instead of taking care the Mistake their staff did he advised us that it will take 45 more minutes this manager did nothing to resolve situations. this location has gone downhill with unprofessional management, the discouragement after getting off of hard days of work to order a meal here which customers who are the backbone of establishments like this, have no decency to cater to the public with a courtesy of proper etiquette at the end of the day without customers, no establishment will continue to run or make any probability when you have shitty service shitty food and a shitty location

Highly disappointed with my curbside/online experience!!! I placed the order via phone with Taylor. She hung up and I received a link to pay, so I called back as I didn’t see my loaded mash nor extras for my salad. She ensured she would take care of it, so i went ahead and paid! My husband arrived and they took the payment AGAIN, but slightly different amount. He mentioned it and 2 separate ladies came out and advised they didn’t see 2 charges. I sent him the pending transactions screenshot and he spoke with a third person named David Williams who was the manager. He argued my husband up and down that they didn’t charge twice!! However, we were ALL looking at the two transactions. He advised us to contact our bank( mind you it was Sunday @ 6pm). By then, it had been 35 minutes my husband was sitting in curbside pick up with our food in the car getting cold, missing items such as the gravy for the Chicken Fried Chicken, or cheese , crouton’s and dressing , as well as items such as bacon, cheese and sour cream for loaded potatoes, while being charged twice and two different accounts!!!! I do NOT recommend this location, unless you want inaccurate food, 35 mins in curbside for order that was supposed to be ready and double charges to your bank account!!!
