Opinions de A La Folie Cafe Miami
À la Folie Café was an absolute delight. We tried both a savory and a sweet crêpe, and each one was excellent in its own way. The savory Henrique crêpe was perfectly balanced—thin, tender crêpe with rich, satisfying fillings that felt hearty without being heavy. You can tell it’s made with care and quality ingredients. For dessert, the sweet crêpe was everything you want: warm, delicate, and generously finished with chocolate, without being overly sweet. It paired beautifully with a foamy cappuccino, which was smooth and comforting. Lovely outdoor café vibes, great coffee, and consistently delicious crêpes—this is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to, whether for brunch, dessert, or a relaxed coffee break. Highly recommend. ☕🥞✨
La Folie on Española Way is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is charming, the coffee is excellent, and the service is warm and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot to relax, people-watch, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in the heart of Miami Beach. Highly recommended!
It was absolutely an amazing experience! I’ve been hearing about this restaurant for a long time and just could make it! The crepe that I choose was with almond cream and was so delicious! Thank you for Brayan to serve me very well, he made my experience better with the correct picks!
A local recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! I could sit here and read a book all afternoon. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. I will definitely be back!
Best brunch in Miami! I tried twice during my trip~ every dishes I had were wonderful and amazing. Highly recommended!
One of the best places to eat around. The food is delicious and fair price. It took a while to prepare, but no more than 30min, and it worthed.
Such a cute little breakfast/brunch spot. Despite being on Española Way, it feels tucked away and private. I felt transported to a little cafe in France. The crepes are delicious and I definitely recommend the truffle gnocchi.
The most Delicious crêpes I’ve ever had in my entire life and I have been coming here For about 20 years.
I enjoyed to have breakfast at this place. I loved French style and soup was out of this world. I would definitely recommend homemade foie gras and French onion . Deserts are tasteful and very unique. I loved the rustic look of this cafe. I enjoyed reading the menu with the history of this place and some information about dishes served. I have to say thank to a very pleasant waitress who spoke French and added character to the whole experience.Great experience. I would come back without a doubt.
Great place for a date with wife. Freshly made gazpacho, great crepes, great beef medallions.
Amazing French food!! French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had
The best meal we had in Miami. It’s on a cozy street not far from the beach. Alejandro is the Best!!!
The food was GREAT! We loved everything we had. A very nice and attentive young lady was the only server for the entire restaurant, which kept becoming busier and busier, but she managed to be efficient enough that we didn't feel neglected, and she was quickly responsive to our requests. It was quite full inside, but there were a few outside tables, where it was very pleasant to sit for dinner. The restaurant's crêpe menu is quite extensive, and I love crêpes, but I didn't get to try them this time. I look forward to going back to try some. They all sounded delicious!
Really nice, quiet place at the end of the noisy Espanola way. Opposite of what happens in all espanola way, they don't push the menu to your face. Staff is really friendly, prices are reasonable. We had pork medallions, gnocchi and ice cream crepe. All came fast. We are happy with our experience at A La Folie and we recommend it.
This is an awesome spot to have a breakfast and enjoy a coffee. The outdoor area was very enjoyable. The service was amazing. I cannot recommend the crepes enough. They were a highlight of our meals in the area and very well done. Will definitely be stopping back when in the area again.
Came here for dinner/drinks and then for lunch the following day. Absolutely love this place. The ambience and food make me nostalgic for my time spent in Paris. Unexpected in the middle of South Beach. Highly recommend the pain au chocolat. Paired with a noisette or cappuccino, there is no better start to a day. The table bread is also incredible; light, fluffy, and crisp on the outside.
I adored this restaurant. First and foremost let’s talk about the fact that their menus are the same size as a newspaper and has stories about crepes so it feels as though you are truly reading a newspaper at a cafe in France. Secondly let’s talk about how much joy their food brought to my stomach, heart, and tastebuds. The gazpacho and gnocchi were beyond good. I finished with a crepe and surprisingly that was my least favorite dish. I think it’s because it was made more traditional than Americanized versions so it was a bit tougher than I expected. Additionally wished I had gotten a wine instead of a cocktail. If you visit Espanola Way and want great food in a homey environment, highly recommend a visit
Wish I would have taken pictures of the food we had there but I can say without a doubt that the steak that was on my sandwich was the most tender piece of perfection I have ever stumbled upon, this restaurant was a recommend to me by someone and I am so glad that we decided to eat here, absolutely delicious.
Loved this place! Right off of the extremely busy and noisy Espanola Way. I prefered this charming French Cafe. Extremely friendly staff let me check out the menu and seat myself outside on a beautiful, warm night. Seemingly very French, they gave me plenty of space to decide what I wanted to eat. I had a delicious red wine with dinner, although drinks seemed pretty pricey when compared to the food. In any case, a nice red wine went well with the food. I had an incredible potato dish (similar to a potato au gratin) and a delicious savory crepe with ham, mozzarella and sun dried tomato. The only dish I found very underwhelming was the beef medallion. Good was reasonably priced and it really was a very cute location with a little peace and quiet.
Perfect. This is the real deal. First time back to the beach for a visit to a creperie that I hadn't visited since before my 12 year old was born. Still quaint and charming. A little bit more decoration than I remember, and definitely feels like a spring cleaning/refresh would benefit, but I would probably miss the character that would be lost by a more curated collection. Love the sinple benches of stained plywood with comfortable and quaint cushions. Love the classic bistro chairs. Love the classic hex-tiled floor. Love the big painted windows. Loves the quaint quite tiny street, just off the SoBe bacchanal. The Breton (poached apple and caramel) crepe was subline, better than I recall. Love the cafe au lait is served in the classic bowl.
Quaint cafe on beautiful Espanola Way. I've been coming to A La Folie for nearly 9 years now, on and off, since I moved to Miami Beach about a two blocks from the cafe. Its very peaceful and calm in the morning, morning busy in the afternoon, and bustling and vibrant in the evenings. The food is always good. The staff is generally friendly. The local kitties abound and add to the charm. Its a great spot on Espanola and I hope they stay around for years to come.
Amazing cafe just a few blocks off of the main strip strip ocean drive. Started with a Savory Cordon bleu crepe and spicy lemonade (Lemonade with Jalapeño- very tasty) Ending with a sweet crepe with reduced pears with homemade almond paste and topped with almond slices, absolutely amazing flavors! Savory or Sweet, definitely worth the visit!!
We are from France and now living in Florida, and it's hard to find good French food here. We both had the tartiflette with Reblochon cheese, just like the traditional one, and it was EXCELLENT. This is the best tartiflette we have eaten so far. The service was also great! Thank you for this experience.
This French restaurant is such a quant place. The food is perfectly made. Fresh crepes. We had the Duck crepe. The flavors were sp delicious, with the sautéed mushrooms and tender duck. I recommend the cream pea soup, French onion soup and escargot to start with. We had a hot chocolate with orange liqueur. What a perfect warm drink to have with your meal. It was an even better date night because they had a live band play. What a surprise even for a Tuesday.
A French gem! A hole in the whole with one of the best Almond croissants you will eat. Not to mention the escargot, French onion soup, and fresh baquette. We had a great experience when we stopped for brunch. We got two cappuccinos and a fresh squeezed orange juice. The server greeted us with a smile and promptly seated us. Highly recommend. Will be back for more
I freaking love a high quality French restaurant. Visiting Paris is one of the greatest food experiences of my life so anything that comes close to that is going to be a strong recommendation. Escargot was perfect but the beef tartare was a little lacking to be honest. The flavors were all fantastic. And having buckwheat options for my gluten free wife was exciting for us to find, especially since it seems south beach is lacking in GF options - we still were unable to find gluten free pancakes anywhere within Miami Beach. The Normandy cider was also great btw.
It seems like your experience will depend on the owner’s presence. It’s overall a great place, and the only French restaurant in Miami Beach. It’s located in the very agreeable Española way, and boasts great dishes you won’t find elsewhere. I’d advise you to treat yourself with typical French stuff you can’t find elsewhere, the paté/rillettes, charcuterie, saucisse de morteau,etc.. but the staff seemed pretty inexperienced and uneducated about the French food, last time as they misunderstood the dishes we were asking for, thank God we know all of these or else we would’ve been eating pâté thinking it was rillettes. Also the œufs cocotte, although good, were completely cooked, the yolk is supposed to stay liquid in such dishes.
“If you’re looking for a phenomenal dining experience, look no further than A la Folie Cafe. Their menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering an incredible selection of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. it’s truly a must-visit destination for any food lover.” I love this place!
This is truly a FRENCH French cafe, please do not bring American expectations in. We had lunch dine-in and take away breakfast and both were delightful. We sat next to regulars at lunch who told us it was a special place and it is. The forestier and Suzette crepes were amazing. Holbox salad yummy. Gnocchi yummy but very rich. Chocolate fondant SO DECADENT and yummy. Fruit salad is a skip.
I am in love with everything about this place, from the sidewalk patio to the cognac bottles of water, it's got soul and amazing chefs :) Fernanda was our wonderful server, super attentive and helpful (not to mention adorable :) 🩵 Been here a couple times, always the best vibes, coffee, and food - haven’t been able to get off the incredible crepe menu yet - tried the ratatouille crepe with bacon and goat cheese today & wowwww 👌🏼⬆️🏆🥇🎖️🏅 Best one yet Thank you kitchen and waitstaff for another perfect meal! And thank you to whoever opened this gem
We wanted to get off the beaten path of ocean drive , Collins, etc and I was pleasantly surprised stumbling on this gem. It is exactly like the cafes of France and its quaint and cozy and the food is great. The menu is extensive. Shared plates. Salads. Sandwiches. Soups. Solid wine list. And they have gluten free options as well. The steak sandwich was perfectly prepared. Warm with great flavor. My salad was fresh. And the French onion soup was delicious. We had a strawberry banana smoothie and lemonade and they were refreshing. Overall great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend for casual eats.
This is an updated review. I had come here once before and wasnt impressed with the food. HOWEVER, today everything was perfection. I had an amazing mushroom crepe, on a rainy day, and could not be happier. The staff is really friendly and not pushing you out once you finish the meal. Thank you for this experience.
I LOVE this cozy French Cafe! So warm and inviting and just perfect! A live trumpet player sets the mood and ambience to a perfect 100!!! A must when in Miami Beach. Feels like you’re somewhere else. The food is great and the crepes are superb! Check this A La Folie Cafe...you WILL love it too!
À La Folie Café was one of the very first places I visited when I moved to Miami, and I instantly fell in love with it. Four years later, I still keep coming back, and it continues to be just as amazing. The food is consistently delicious, the vibe is cozy and relaxed, the music and décor genuinely transport you to France (it feels like a little corner of Paris right here in Miami), and the service has always been warm and friendly. The people, the flavors, the atmosphere, everything is simply spectacular. Today I returned after all this time, and it’s still incredible. I truly hope it never changes. ✨🇫🇷🥐
The staff are lay back and cool. Food was delicious and clean. Not heavy and not feeling guilty on the ingredients. The music playlist is smooth and relaxing. The drinks are also delightful and this will be my chic spot. I love how everything it antique and sustainable. Even the menu has character as a Christian Dior newspaper. Love everthing.
I wasn’t impressed by the food on Miami Beach in general but this little cafe next to our hotel proved to be my favorite spot for breakfast. 🥞 The pricing is very reasonable ($10-11 for sweet crepes and a bit more for savory ones) and the menus are printed in newspaper format, which I thought was very cute. The tea and coffee are served in bowls. The tea is loose leaf but a bit bland (this is more of a US problem tho).
What a jem on Espanola Way! It's back beyond the crazy. We sat outside and it was an eclectic awesome vibe. We were just going to get a drink and decided to get some food. It was all wonderful. Awesome wine recommendations and excellent service. The menu was well priced and there's such a variety of items from shared food to crepes to entrees.
We loved this place!! The coffee was good, the menu was reasonably priced, the food was so tasty. They are very busy, which makes it feel authentic… however, if you are in a hurry, you may want to save this place for when you can savor your time and meal. It’s worth the wait! For all those who complain about the added gratuity… all of Miami Beach has that.
This place is always on my top 5 in Miami. One of the best restaurant and hidden gem on Española way. Very romantic, quaint, charming, great food. Service could be really good or mediocre, depending of the server, but I love the food, ambience specially the nights that they have live music. I went for third time and I tried the onion soup, scargots with cheese, WOW. And the lava cake is one of the best that I tried ever.
The atmosphere was very beautiful and unique! It felt very cozy and comfortable, we sat on the garden area. The waitress was nice but the food took good amount of time to arrive and we were starving, we ordered french onion soup and steak sandwich both delicious! Will definitely go back when I visit south beach.
Prepared to be amazed. Very authentic French food. The crepes are the best we have tried in town. The menu has plates that we haven’t seen at other French places. We will come back to try the others. The service is great too, happy hour ends at 7:00 pm even on Saturday. The location is passed the busy part of española way so is quiet .
So lovely! We came here for brunch and ordered a latte, crapes and a salad. The watermelon goat cheese salad was perfect, nice and light. I love that their crêpes are gluten and lactose free, it is really hard to find dairy free crapes and this one was delicious and did not make my stomach hurt! It has such a cute European ambience on Espanola Way. They don’t take reservations so go early if you don’t want to wait!
Nicely tucked away at the end of Espanola way, this french bistro is a little authentic jewel. Excellent home made food, natural wines, friendly service and a cosy vibe both indoors as well as the terrace. We have been back multiple times and never been let down. Highly recommended 👌
We had breakfast here and it was a truly continental experience with excellent coffee and pastries. Try the royal and can share between two as amazing size, the eggs are also incredible. A must visit 😀
I love this little cafe in south beach. The crepes are delicious, the terrace on the side street is very quiet. I visit “à la folie” every time I visit Miami.
Classic French cafe with very tasty and fresh food! Like typical French people we ordered tartine (huge baguette with butter & jam; montagnard - savory breakfast dish. So good! Our 7 years old ordered butter & sugar crepe and enjoyed it so much. Cafe serves Lavazzo espresso. It is not bitter as it usually the case with this brand! The cafe is located in a cute spot on Espanola way! We will be back! Merci!
They hosted my birthday dinner with 20+ people. They made it so special and seemless and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect setting, the food was top tier and the staff pulled out all the stops. It was beautiful and the best birthday I’ve ever had!
My third time here! We ordered a savoury and sweet crepes and also the Holbox salad, everything was great!! And the service is adorable. The atmosphere is great for a cute date night, cute and relaxed.
Y Nice place !!!! Is perfecto 👌 para 2 y muy familiar .
Me gustó mucho dl estilo del lugar, tiene una vibra diferente, es muy agradable. Fuí por crepes y me gustaron mucho.
Very nice french café in the cutest street in South Beach. Very affordable prices.
My friends suggested this place for our last day in Miami. The food is French cafe style, my husband had a cordon blue style savory crepe, and I had a croque madame sandwich. All was good, the croquet madame was on a baguette as opposed to a brioche, but it was good. The only critique is that the food for four people took 45 minutes and they brought my husband the wrong crepe initially. They quickly within 5 minutes rectified the crepe situation, but was unclear why it took so long to make the food the first time and only 5 minutes to fix it. Most of the servers also had a sort of "I can't be bothered attitude." Regardless, it's a quaint place and the food is good, worth a try regardless.
A small French restaurant on Española way. You get to pick your table, either indoor or outdoor facing the quiet road. There are a variety of salad, sandwiches and other French things. I had a steak sandwich and it was very good. The only con of this place is that it is not kid friendly so better for an older crowd (not families with young kids). No high chairs or kids menu. We managed anyway. Staff was friendly.
À la Folie Café serves as a charming little slice of France nestled in Miami South Beach, offering a delightful culinary experience marred slightly by minor service issues. Pros - The ambiance mimics a quintessential French café, instantly whisking you off to the charming streets of Paris. - Clean and tidy interiors make the café a pleasant place to dine in. - The food, particularly the Croque Monsieur crepe, is delicious and authentically French, living up to its reputation. - Despite the bustling locale, the prices remain reasonable, making it great value for money. Cons - Customer service could be improved. It wasn't immediately clear whether it was table service, and we received no greeting upon entry despite visible staff availability. - Service time could be improved. It took a while for us to get served initially. - The Dijonaisse Chicken Crepe was a bit on the dry side, although it was still tasty. Overall, a visit to À la Folie Café is a pleasurable experience and definitely worth the occasional service hiccup
We got the ratatouille crepe (get the goat cheese otherwise it’s bout nourishing enough from a nutritional stance!) and the ham, mushroom and Swiss. The flour is delicious. Regarding service, I was disappointed that the waiter didn’t know where the goat cheese was sourced from. I wanted to know to what extent it was local. This place would be 5 stars all around if it was more organic and locally-sourced conscience.
Food was good. My husband’s salmon sandwich was tasty (good herbed mayo). Note: if you request any of the crepes with egg, don’t expect it to come the traditional way (with a drippy egg). Mine was baked in, leading to a quite dry jambon/oeuf/fromage/champignon crêpe. $62 for the crepe, sandwich and a sparkling water.
Unfortunately my experience wasn’t the best. I ordered an almond milk latte, which I didn’t really enjoy, and we only asked for one crêpe to share, but it took more than 40 minutes to arrive. The long wait completely affected the experience. Honestly, I wouldn’t go back because of the delay alone. At the very least, they could inform customers when the kitchen is running behind.
We were seated, no one came to take our order for 30+ minutes. They started taking orders for people who arrived after us. We ended up getting croissant to go because that was the quickest thing.
The atmosphere of this place is great, they have a cool french antique vibe. We got one sweet and one savory crepe. Although the sweet one was a hit, the savory one failed completely with rock hard prosciutto. They happily replaced it and we ordered a cheesy option with an overload of brie. The coffee was good and the staff was friendly. I think you could find a better brunch spot.
We ordered the beef medallion plate and ratatouille side. Food was great but honestly such a terrible experience with how many flies were around us. I could barely enjoy how good the food was because I was busy fending off 6 flies alone at our table. I see other reviews are mostly outside or during the evening so maybe that makes a difference. But if you see customers swatting flies in the middle of a meal, maybe close the front door or move us outdoors where there’s a bit more of a breeze to avoid the flies.
One of the worst food experiences in Miami beach, unfortunately. In no way is this a french place, the tables were not clean, the service was very lazy to say the least and the food .... the crepes citron-cukre had the mixture of sugar and CITRIC ACID, the menu says butter crepe with sugar and LEMON, there was no lemon at all. Ohh and of course they charged you 20% of gratuity for the horrible food and service, so just be prepared and go nowhere near that place. P.S. the coffee and lemonade were also bad.
Terribly slow service, forced 18% gratuity for this terrible service and the restaurant itself was kind of gross. I sat inside and was shooing away flies the entire time. The table was dirty when I sat down. It was musty and warm, I can’t imagine it in the summer time. The food was just alright. I also spent most of my time searching for a waiter to bring us water, the check, or silverware. So that made it worse. They added a gratuity for their terrible service and when they swiped my card, had I not paid attention to my receipt, it would have been very easy to overlook and double tip. Will not be back, would not recommend.
Wanted to try a new French bistro and we were disappointed. On a high note, our waiter was very attentive and on top of things. The onion soup did not have the richness of the broth tipically expected. The bread was far from a fresh baguette and the cheese was skimpy and not the tasty gruyere. The onions were not caramelized, simply translucent. Two savory crepes on pancakes that looked and felt rubberish, almost like the Ethiopian bread but not as tasty.
I’ve always enjoyed coming to your café, but today the experience was unfortunately far below the standard I’m used to. There were construction works right next to my table and dust was falling on me, yet no one offered to move me even after other tables became available. I also felt uncomfortable being looked at sideways while I was simply finishing my coffee and working on my laptop. On top of that, the water glass had pink lipstick on it from the previous guest. I’m sharing this not as a complaint, but out of respect, because I genuinely love your place and would like to see the quality aligned with the level you aim to uphold.
While some of the food was enjoyable—specifically the crepe—the service was unfortunately unacceptable. We waited 40 minutes just to receive menus and place our order. Throughout the meal, we never received water, and one of our dishes never arrived at all, despite seeing surrounding tables receive multiple rounds of drinks and food. Given the premium pricing, the lack of basic hospitality was disappointing, and I unfortunately cannot recommend this cafe based on this experience, maybe it's an overall better experience when not so understaffed.
I used to go to this place in the past, about a year ago.. went back today and was so much disappointed both by the service and the food.. I ordered a Quiche Lorraine, and really the worst one I had, coming our from freezer and no tasty at all.. ordered a diet coke who came in a warm can and I had to wait for ice.. My friend ordered a croque madame and received a croque monsieur.. all wrong.. and 18% service automatically included on top of another +10% charges (taxes, conv fee, miami beach taxes..).. my last time at this location..
Place used to be great a year or two ago. Came back twice in 2025 and it was disappointing both times- crepes were cold and a bit hard. Particularly in the Belle Helene the pears and crepe were cold, they didn’t put any chocolate inside. Just sad compared to what it used to be. Standalone might have been 3 stars, but in comparison to what it used to be it’s just 2 The male waiter with glasses who speaks Spanish is efficient and super nice
My first surprise was that the menue of the brasserie that was visible at the entrance wasn't available in the evening. In the evening only some tapas stuff could be ordered and a few other things. I ordered only a salad and a beer. The salad only consisted of green lettuce, onions, croutons and a bit parmesan. The price for green leetuce was 18 USD before taxes and forced tips. Totally overpriced. The vinaigrette was very sour. So I ordered some bread which costed USD 4. All in all I paid with the automattically added service charge of 20%, USD 34 for some greens with a beer. Totally overpriced for a salad that wasn't particularily good. In addition they immediately brought the bill, despite the fact my beer glass was still half full.
We used to come here for 5 years because we loved the food, but after seeing a constant decrease in service and food quality, we decided this was our last visit. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited more than 40 minutes for our food. The service was terrible: we had to ask multiple times just to get water, and when we requested salt and pepper, nothing came. I eventually went to the counter myself, and it still took the waiter another 10 minutes to find them. The problem seems obvious: the staff were more focused on their phones than on their customers, and there appears to be no manager on site. Don’t waste your time going there. I rate it 2 stars because it used to be great, and the food is still passably OK.
I had one of the worst breakfast experiences of my life at this place. We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast, while three tables that arrived after us were served before we were. No one came to properly explain the delay or apologize. The person who appeared to be the manager showed very poor customer service. Instead of communicating professionally or checking on our table, he seemed indifferent to the situation and never took responsibility for the long wait. To make matters worse, they tried to automatically charge an 18% service fee, even though the service was clearly unacceptable. I had to ask for it to be removed. A breakfast place should understand that people expect quick and organized service in the morning, and unfortunately this restaurant completely failed at that. Very disappointing experience.
Horrible service. We had to leave the place because the waiter never take our order. Almost 20 mins seated and not even tap water.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a long time and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent visits this week were disappointing. The service from one server was noticeably poor, and on both visits I was overcharged — including a service charge added even though I was dining alone. I never mind leaving a tip (I usually do and I love supporting good service), but being charged extra without explanation feels dishonest and really took away from the experience. I hope this gets addressed, because I truly like this place and would love to come back to the level of service I used to receive.
If you want to spend $40 on two sad slices of brie, two slices of Emmental, a few crumbs of gorgonzola, a couple of crostini, and ham that tastes worse than the cheapest supermarket cold cuts — this is your spot. To make the plate look bigger, they buried everything under a pile of lettuce… and for some completely senseless reason, they also threw in random pickles, as if that would make it “French.” The so-called “charcuterie and cheese plate” was such a joke that after 5 minutes (with most of it untouched) we asked for the check. The waitress didn’t bother to ask why we weren’t eating or if something was wrong — she just dropped the bill. Overpriced, low-quality, bizarrely put together, and zero customer care. A complete scam.
I’ve been coming here for 7 years. The service seems to be going downhill over time. Today I was looking forward to a nice breakfast, rode my bike there. Sat for over 5 minutes with not one person coming up. I had to ask for ice water, and both servers were just standing there staring out the window. I got up and left before even getting any ice water. Horrible experience. It’s a shame because the place is so charming and I really enjoy the food. But I unfortunately will not be back after coming regularly for 7 years. They include service charge for terrible service.
The first time I tried this place the food was bad but I loved the sugar and butter crepe. It was the only thing I actually liked. Customer service could be better. I went back and ordered the crepe to go and I was exited to eat for the last time before I return to New York today, but as I opened the plate I see that my crepes are completely burnt and not eatable 😡 I was so disappointed and I tried to send them an email about it but it’s not even them on the contact info. I contacted the email provided as the “owner “ and I was told to contact the store which doesn’t make sense because why don’t you have a customer support information on the page. I contacted them so I wouldn’t have to leave a bad review but now I don’t have a choice. How can you even serve this!?
We came at around 11am today hoping to have nice French breakfast. We love French breakfast and have been to many places in Miami, unfortunately this is not our favorite. I read reviews before picking this spot because we usually go to Cafe Bastile and wanted to change it up, and a lot of people were giving props to the crepes. The main reason why I’m giving you one star rating it’s because the guys that you had working there today, number one were SO DISRESPECTFUL to the female employee that it was all they were worried about, they were making sexual and crazy disrespectful comments to this girl that I don’t know how one didn’t get slapped. Number two, the server was more worried about the jokes to this girl and cleaning than taking care of us. The guy in this picture is the reason why after ordering coffee and croissants we got up and left to eat somewhere else. He didn’t pay attention to us.. not sure if it was because he asked if he could speak in Spanish and we told him English was easier for us to understand, because his Spanish had a thick accent we couldn’t understand (coming from a family that has 2 different ethnic backgrounds) The croissants and the Madeline were AMAZING! But, this guy takes a simple order of cappuccino, espresso, 2 croissants, a Madeline and a ham and cheese croissant, he came back a couple of times so that we could remind him what he was missing(very bad!) also, when we talked to him he walked away like he was rushing to clean (the place was empty!!) and we had to repeat stuff because he would not listen or paid attention. He seems to love cleaning. But for dealing with the public, he’s awful. Someone that treats people like they are getting on the way of his cleaning shouldn’t be a server!!
I wish I could've tried the food and had an opportunity to experience the atmosphere, but instead we were greeted by incredibly rude staff. We were looking for a table for four we had some luggage with us. A member of staff rudely told us they could only serve a table of 3 in a nearly empty restaurant. We offered to sit outside in a rare cold morning, so that the luggage would not take space inside the restaurant, but this was also a problem. Apparently luggage could not be outside. The rude staff member was a middle-aged male.
