This is your local neighborhood Thai restaurant. The staff makes you feel like family, very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and well priced. I highly recommend them.

The salad is fresh. We ordered lunch specials including salad or soup, a fried dumpling, and rice with curry. The rice is 1/2 bowel amount. The mansamin curry is too sour for me. But the Thai curry is pretty good.

One plate after the other, the ladies brought our orders on time. They eve explained to us the ingredients and how to use the little grill that came with the Thai satee... so cool!!! We had as appetizer the Thai Satee: so good! And so cute the presentation. I don't think I've ever had steak with peanut sauce....! Amazing! And the cucumbers in honey... mmm mmm mmm!!! Then, we ordered the Dynamite, the Kimchee and the I Love Lucy rolls. The Dynamite is a must! That one was 🔥(we are getting it again when we return... which will be soon...)!!! Then the Kimchee: great flavor! This one has conch, I was curious about that! No regrets, people! It was amazing. And then, I love Lucy came to our table... thought we couldn't make it... but we did!!! Oooh! The shrimp, with avocado,, and crab,, oooh! Just Amazing 👏! Best trio evaaaa!!! We'll be back! But I wanna try some Thai food next time!!

This place is excellent for sushi and Thai. The rolls are big, tasty, and fresh. This is not a place where you get overpriced sushi the size of a Rolo on fancy plates. The service is always friendly and attentive. We order takeout from here at least once a week. Most sushi places in Miami are overpriced, and the sushi isn't that great. This place has been around this long for a reason.

He had a large chicken and shrimp Tom coconut milk which was filled with chicken and lots of shrimp and absolutely delicious and wonderful fresh vegetables. I had the sushi caliente which was delightful. It is tempura fish with lettuce and avocado and their spicy mayo. I was quite thrilled. We had good wait-service as well. The bathrooms were nice and clean, too.

Always a fantastic time. Great sushi, great staff and the restaurant is always very clean. For covid they have taken every measure to keep us and themselves safe and I love that. I love the staff who I've seen always happy to see me and many I feel get the pleasure of a warm greeting just like I do. Never have I had a bad experience there and visit here as often as I can.

I ordered the Green Curry. They asked how hot I wanted it, 1,2,3,4 or Thai. I had level 4, hint: don't order Thai, unless you are. But this was so good and just the spice, as I like it very spicy. Also ordered Pad-thai, very good, but the Green Curry was the star.

Bangkok City has a new owner and if you thought the food was good before it's even better now. The new owner is committed to bringing authentic Thai food to Pelham! Excellent food, really nice folks who want the customers to have an even better experience!

I am very biased when it comes to Bangkok city. My family has been going to the restaurant for years. The food is out of this world delicious. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The staff is very nice and is always making sure you have refills and food on the table. Overall 10/10 in my eyes

We went here after a long long day at a market. The service is very attentive. We were seated quickly. My sister order the Katsu chicken dinner and my bf and I both had pad Thai. We also ordered some Thai spring roll and a salmon skin hand roll for appetizers. Both were amazing. The Katsu chicken was huge and came with so much (salad, rice and more). The pad Thai portion was so big I had enough to eat for lunch the next day. My bf loved the pad Thai so much. We would definitely come here again.

I’ve been coming here my whole life. Tang and the staff are some of the best in Miami. Welcoming, warm, and on the ball. This place has been consistent for decades and as they have expanded, they maintain quality. You can find some truly authentic and delicious Thai dishes here. The selection is vast! Best duck curry in Miami. Plenty of vegetarian options. Pad woon sen, mee krob, basil pork, thai omelette, spicy papaya salad (som tum), satay, Lobster tempura roll is great on the “Japanese” menu. Absolutely a must try for any Miami resident who loves Thai food.

Long time established family owned/run restaurant, been eating here for over 20+years. Always accommodating, fresh/delicious, traditional Thai food + fresh sushi/sashimi, plenty of seats, well known though so there may be a wait at times. Thai iced coffee is always nice, hard to have just one lol. Full bellies & happy faces all around each & every time. 🤪👍👍

My husband and I love coming here for the Crispy duck and the 'I love Lucy roll'. I love the ladies here. They are always so sweet to my older kid and my infant baby. They're kind and fast workers. Food is great.

This place is like eating at home. Everyone is so warm and inviting. All servers work in tandem, which makes the experience just amazing. The food is really good and if you want authentic taste and spices you will really enjoy this place.

First, the service was amazing. Secondly, I am not a curry fan. We ordered curry chicken fried rice and curry chicken soup. I was expecting to hate it but was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were perfectly seasoned. The curry level was perfectly balanced. I will definitely return to try other dishes.

The Thai cuisine is extremely delicious. Although the storefront of this restaurant looks humble from the outside, inside, haha, it's small but complete. The Thai food tastes very authentic and is one of the best Thai meals I've ever had. Its lunch menu is good in quality and low in price, and the platings are also very exquisite. This is a Thai restaurant that I highly recommend.

This place has great consistency with delicious food! It’s family owned, which I love even more. The volcano cHicken is one of my favorite hot dishes. Very good and authentic, I liked the volcano chicken which was very crispy, the chicken teriyaki and the chicken pad thai. Just a tip is too not order so much food because it does come in large portions so it is perfect for sharing amongst large groups.

Ever since I was a little girl, this has been my go to sushi and noodle spot in Miami. The staff and owners are so kind and the fish is always super fresh. The portions are way bigger than expected and the prices are just right. In addition to their delicious sushi menu, they have great noodle and Thai dishes.

We have been going here for a long time. Every single time we are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome! Every employee who works here is so amazing and the service is definitely a highlight. The food is incredible. The I love lucy roll is a classic and is soooo good. We recently tried the Super Tuna roll and it was amazing. The duck is very crispy and to die for. Every sauce we have tried (a lot of them) works amazing with the duck. The fried rice is also incredible. The Thai donuts are an amazing way to end the meal and they are always so light and airy. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and you have to come here. You won’t regret it!

Great Thai food. Pad Thai is awesome and doing Thailand's national dish well is benchmark for any Thai restaurant. We always order the Bangkok Duck as well which is cooked perfectly in that it is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and comes in a sweet & savory brown sauce.

We've been coming here for decades. Never have we been disappointed. The staff is wonderful, always accommodating and friendly. We recently celebrated my mother's birthday there and they were great. They have an extensive menu and something for everyone. This place is a must if you want fresh, flavorful Thai and Japanese food.

This is my favorite restaurant in Miami Dade. The owner is awesome and very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is vast, and I haven't tried anything that wasn't good. My favorite restaurant in Miami. Amazingly delicious and nutritious Asian food. My favorite duck Masaman curry, fried squid, and American dream 2. I get stomach ache if I eat low quality food, but I never get stomach upset here. My whole family loves this restaurant. Will keep this place as my favorite restaurant!

This tiny gem of a restaurant hit all the right spots. The sushi was fresh and the green curry was one of the best I’ve had. I must add that we were a party of 3 and ordered vegan/vegetarian options.

This was a good stop. I forgot to picture the fish sashimi I ordered but pictures the left overs. I ordered the spicy conch, the lobster rolls and the sashimi appetizer. The food was very filling. Adding the vegetables made the digestion take longer. I was still tasting the food hours later which is helpful. This meal was very healthy and I enjoyed this stop. I do recommend

This Miami gem created delicious and beautiful catering for our party! We hosted a bridal shower for 20+ people, and, at the bride-to-be’s request, we ordered sushi, spring rolls and other delicacies. The restaurant punctually delivered 2 phenomenal sushi boats (one was almost 3 feet long!) artfully arranged, with a stunning variety of fresh sushi and sashimi; The boats themselves were a work of art and the most gorgeous and delectable centerpieces a party could hope for. The guests were so impressed and we looked like rock star hostesses!!

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for more than 12 years and you still get the same authentic and delicious food. Highly recommend the red curry and chicken fried rice. The service is also amazing. Dine in or take out!

It might of been because this was the first place I’ve been to for sushi, but I’ve been chasing the deliciousness of their “I Love Lucy” roll ever since I been. Absolutely delicious sushi, but steer away from their corn soup. Their pad Thai and Thai tea are also very good. Overall 8.7/10.

Delicious food had by everyone in my group. Their sushi rolls are huge. You decide how much spiciness you want in your meal, the food came out lightning fast, and everything was fresh and tasty. In addition to the food being great the service was amazing. We came with our 16 month old baby and everyone in there seemed so excited and happy to see her. Our waitress played peek-a-boo while we ate and they made fast friends.

Family favorite! Fresh vegetables, great flavors, fresh sushi, and the staff are so kind and attentive. We have ordered in & out from here and its always a pleasure. The food is always fresh!

Pretty good food. Odd odor, but we thought it was just the food. We were a party of like 8 and they sat us next to the kitchen doors when there were so many more tables they could've pushed together for us. The food was so good I ordered the Lucy Roll, wish it could've been smaller, but that was also my fault for not specifying I forgot to ask if they make them big. Might come back and try some more food, but my party was satisfied with the meal.

The food is very good here. Imho a 4.5 just because some things are only okay... The busser and food runner are great but the server is not so much that's why I only give the service a 3... The atmosphere speaks for itself.

I have never eaten here before and decided to grab some takeout. I'm so glad I did. The lady at the front was so cheerful and nice. I love the atmosphere, it's very cozy. I ordered shrimp pad Thai for two. It was fresh and delicious. We must come back and eat there soon.

Always an enjoyable lunch. Corn chowder soup is a favorite as well as the hot & sour soup. Try the Thai Style Basil; it's the one that comes with the fried egg on top.

Great food, fast and friendly service, and nice atmosphere. We strongly recommend the pas thai, basil duck, and the thai version of the fried rice. The tempura and gyozas were ok. We might come back to try the curries and maybe also the hot maki sushi as they also offer some japanese dishes.

The quality of the food is excellent and very tasty. Servings are generous, and prices are reasonable. However, the place seems to be several decades old, and very little (if any) money has been reinvested into decor and maintenance.

The food was delicious, a little more on the pricey side. They have Thai food and sushi. There was only one server for the entire place from what we could see, so it took more than 45 minutes for them to take our order. We've been here before so we were willing to wait. Love the atmosphere, it's a quaint little place.

A staple of Thai and sushi food in South Miami. The restaurant has been around longer than I can remember at least 25 years if not longer. Would be better to think of it as a really good Thai place that also serves decent sushi. The Thai dishes were served at the proper spiciness requested. The wasabi served with the sushi was barely flavorful at all. The basil beef Thai was especially good. However there have been corners cut to save money. The aquarium that had been there for at least a decade is gone because of the cost and the shrimp chips given to one as they sit down are now for purchase only unless you order the two dishes they come with. Rice used to be served out of a giant pot and now is given in tiny bowls. When you ask for more sometimes you're begrudgingly given one and sometimes you're asked why when you haven't finished every piece from the small bowl you recieved earlier. Curry with no rice is like soccer with no soccer ball. It's unfortunate and while I will still patronize the restaurant I will be thinking of how it used to be run unfortunately. There were also a number of flies around our food and no one did anything to help us get them away from our food.

The Tom Yum and Tom Ka soups were good,but the other food had way too much sugar in it. Especially the Pad Thai, we couldn't eat it. Tasted like a bland dessert. Even the Beef Thai basil was sweet

The soup serving was too small for the price we paid for. We ordered the curry, the duck, the fried squid and the Lucille ball sushi. The sushi was great and the squid was great as well. Was surprised by the sushi because it looked more like a soup than anything. It was just the bamboo shoots and 1-2 slices of green/ red bell pepper.

This place has gone down in quality quite a bit. We ordered our usual fried rice and it had loose shrimp tails all up in it in tiny pieces so every bite had shell in it. It was practically inedible. We also ordered the volcano shrimp which wasn’t supposed to have mushrooms in it, but they added them and I’m allergic so I couldn’t have it. The chicken to replace it was tough and exceedingly chewy. It was not a good experience at all.

I’m giving them two stars because the service was good and the coconut soup was very tasty yet the chicken Pad Thai was horrible. It had a bright orange color unlike any other I have seen and it tasted super sweet with a hint of something old…I told the server it wasn’t good and she kindly replaced the dish with another one with the same Pad Thai noodles but different sauce…this time it had a mixture between a burnt taste and the old flavor. Most likely the noodles weren’t good. I really wanted to like this place but it was a let down.

Food is good. Service is also good. They surprised popped us with an 18% tip on the bill. Nowhere was it written that 18% would be added to the bill. That’s kinda sleazy. And they also added a line called “additional tip”, meaning they wanted more tip, which I considered double sleazy. Before getting the bill I was ready to give a generous tip but my experience became a turn off when I saw the tip added to bill.

This is the third time that we place an order for takeout and every time we go to pick it up we always ask is everything there? We don’t wanna have to take out all the items out of a neatly package bag to check to make sure that nothing is missing. Well, this is the third time that we now get back home and things are missing. It happens every time their food is good however, their attention to detail is poor. This restaurant always forgets something of my order. It’s upsetting because you get home and you don’t wanna do anything except eat your food. We always have to waste time driving all the way back to get the missing items because they won’t even refund you over the phone. I think this is our sign to find another sushi place that we can frequently order from without any problems. If you do order from these people, I highly suggest to take out all of your items in front of them out of the bag and make sure that they aren’t missing anything in your order because I guarantee something will be missing.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years, but unfortunately, my recent visit left me very disappointed. The quality of the food has declined significantly — portions are noticeably smaller, and the flavors just aren’t what they used to be. Prices have gone up quite a bit, which I could understand if the experience matched the cost, but sadly it doesn’t. The service was mediocre at best, and it’s clear they’re cutting costs at every corner. It’s really disappointing to see such a decline in a place I used to enjoy so much. Sadly, I doubt I’ll be returning.

The serving size was good but the food quality was not like real Thai food and if your looking to eat here with a couple friends be aware that they charge gratitude for a party of 2 or more which is 15% on top of the bill I do not recommend this place I would rather get McDonald or go to a fancy restaurant

Visited Today 02/14/2025 Valentines Day.. Service is OK, PORTIONS ARE GOOD , But the Main Course WAS HORRENDOUS The CHICKEN-PAD-THAI , IS SO SWEET IS UNEATABLE, THE CHICKEN PIECES ARE SO DRIED..... WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE.. Sadly its couple blocks from our Home.

They add gratuity on 2 people .. what a rip off !!! When asked to remove which they did after argument as food was not up to par for us . Service was OK . Later also when we paid she gave me slip to add tip .. pad thai was sweet even when asked for spicy . They charging $16 for basic food and want gratuity on top for 2 ppl also

We stoped going here about 10 years ago when we found a hair in the food…After giving them the benefit of the doubt ten years later, it happened again on the first visit. The odds of this are almost incalculable. This place needs to be closed down.
