Flanigan's is a popular spot known for its great food, friendly staff (Melanie, Steve, Tara, Xavian, Freddy), and lively atmosphere. Many rave about the amazing wings and great prices, especially the burger and fries special. Some negative reviews mention inconsistent service and occasional issues with food quality.
Tip: Visit during weekdays for the wings special or the burger and fries combo before 4 PM for a great deal.

I frequented this location until I got pregnant. I love the drink deals and the food is always absolutely 🔥fire. When I get Jen, Damaris, Edward, or even Annamarie? At the bar i KNOW I'm in great hands. I want to visit again, soon, I'm just worried that the pregnant taste buds will not agree.🤷♀️
Of all the locations in Miami, this one has the best vibes. It's common to have a wait for a table on weekends, but the wait feels short; While you wait, You can take a short walk to Big Daddy's Liquors; Their stores offer a wide selection of beer, wine, and spirits. The chicken wings and nachos are a must-try. Good service and fast order.
I love eating at flannigans for lunch or dinner pretty much any day of the week. For lunch monday through friday , they have different specials. For example , my favorite on monday order a picture of blue moon and you get a large plate of hearty nachos loaded. It's for two or three friends as an appetizer while they're waiting for their delicious burger. As an Added bonusIf you purchase liquor at big daddy's next door your purchases go towards a gift card for lunch at any of the flannigans locations.
Marinne is very energetic and attentif, always recondizing. We really enjoy out time with her.
Flanigan’s has always been one of my favorite go-to spots, and this visit was no exception! The prices are reasonable, and the food is consistently great. This time, we tried the burger special and the prime rib special—both of which are my personal favorites. As always, the dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. The service was excellent, just as it’s been in my past visits. Flanigan’s continues to deliver great food, great value, and a great experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place to enjoy a meal!
The waitress I had was super friendly and was extremely helpful in recommending the drink specials and food accommodations. I had s Texas burger for the first time and it was stellar! The flavor of the meat itself was satisfying enough lol. I’d recommend this place on a day such as Monday-Wednesday it’s not packed at all and service is quick and efficient! We all know Flanigans is known for its high capacity =P.
Love this place! Great food and service. Also, extremely reasonable prices especially considering this restaurant is in Coconut Grove-Miami.
Great food and good prices. Nice staff that knows what they are doing.
My favorite location by far. Bartenders are very attentive and great at getting your orders out. Garlic rolls are great and Joe's meal deal is CLUTCH! Bartenders are always giving the best recs and they treat everyone like regulars. Makes me wanna spend the extra 15 minutes driving to this location just to eat here and watch the games. Dessert is always a must as long as they keep that brownie ice cream! Those rib rolls are a staple every time i go! Highly recommend!!!
It's a must to have lunch at Flanigans when around the area. Special KUDOS to Gina G., who always has a smile. Great food and service!!!
Tara, Royce, and Amy are amazing they make you feel part of the family. Also the manager Angel keeps everything on point!!! I have been to almost every flanigans in Florida and nothing compares!! The food is always perfect and consistent.
Victor is the best. Attentive and just genuinely wanting you to have a good time. Lexi was also very kind passing by making sure we had everything we needed. There’s a reason why most locals say this is the best flanigans.
Favorite go to place when visiting South Florida. Best lunch menu all around, love the Joe's Pale Ale on draft, have visited 7 different locations and this is our favorite. Love the burgers, chicken salad, seafood gumbo and clam chowder. Friendly staff and very efficient. Bought gift cards for our friends.
I love coming here. I’m always coming to eat the delicious rib rolls and those garlic rolls are sooo good. Me and my boyfriend always look forward to eat them. I’ve had the nachos before and they’re really good but the thing is that it’s a BIG plate. Like huge. We never finish it but when we do that’s how you know we were hungry for real. I really recommend getting the fire cracker shrimp as well, and those burgers are big and juicy as well! If you guys have room, I also recommend getting the the Banzai brownie, it’s the most softest and delicious dessert i’ve had there. Enjoy !
Nice place to be. Free parking available inside the premises but there are limited spaces. I believe there is a parking at rear where the liquor store is but I'm not quite sure because I found parking at the bar. Very safe surroundings. They had full house by the time we arrived and I understand it is like that almost all the time. We had to put down our names on the waiting list and it took like half an hour to be seated. It is said it is recommended to book ahead of arrival so once the customer gets there there is no much of a waiting. I would say the waiting is worthy. They had music playing at a nice volume, you were able to speak with your companions. The facility is quite clean, great distribution of space. The only thing was that restrooms for men were out of service so they had these portable potties outside the premises. Service was great. The waitress was very kind. She asked constantly if everything was ok, if we needed something else. The food was amazing. We ordered full rack of baby back ribs and fries and it was flavorful. This dish can be shared with another person. Of course there are some more dishes but they are quite famous because of the ribs, so we did not have the chance to order any other thing from the menu to try. Prices are affordable. You can either pay cash or card. You can come here with friends, coworkers and/or family. You may wonder, would I recommend it to the point I'll come back? Of course.
Amazing experience at Flanigan’s! The food was delicious we ordered ribs, wings, and nachos, and everything came out hot and full of flavor. The atmosphere was super relaxed and family-friendly, perfect for a nice time. Also, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it!
During our Batchelor party, we decided to stop here for a late night dinner which ended up being a terrific decision. We enjoyed a large platter of Loaded Nachos and a pitcher of Iced Tea. The nachos had a healthy amount of toppings on them that didn't make the bottom of the bowl a greasy mess and the chips were hot and fresh. We followed this by all ordering from the "Joe's meal deals" which 2 of us ordered the Shrimp deal and the other two had the Full rack ribs deal. The amount of food you receive for the price made it truly feel like a deal with the delectable Garlic Rolls and fresh Ceaser salad and your entrée of choice. The Shrimp was piping hot with a perfectly crisp batter that was served alongside a massive helping of fries. The two that had ribs were both happy with their orders as the bones in their ribs effortlessly slid out of the tender meat that surrounded it. Everyone was thoroughly pleased with their meals, and they even had leftovers that they took home and ate the following morning cold due to just how good they were. A filling and relatively inexpensive meal was well received by everyone, so it pleases me to say that we can recommend this establishment to others looking for a late night bite and otherwise.
Marianne was our bartender… best experience we’ve had in Florida! She rocks in every aspect! Thank you!
Service and food were excellent. Every time we visit Deerfield we eat at Flanagan’s. We ordered surf and turf, the swordfish and a cheese burger and everything was delicious and fresh. We went with a party of six and had no issues what so ever, we were seated outside which was very nice. Service was excellent, our waitress was very outgoing and friendly.they have a very good menu with a few specials, we ordered a pitcher of beer and and received a free loaded nachos.Prices were very reasonable.
🌴🍽️ Flannigan's Coconut Grove Review: A Culinary Adventure Awaits! 🍽️🌴 So I recently ventured into Flannigan's Coconut Grove, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a tropical paradise where the only thing missing was a parrot on my shoulder and a drink in hand (the drink came soon enough, don’t worry). First off, the atmosphere is so laid-back that if you sat down for brunch, you might accidentally wake up just in time for dinner. Seriously, it’s a place where time pauses; I half-expected a sloth to serve me my drink! Now let’s talk about the menu. Flannigan's has so many delicious options that it felt like I was swiping right on a dating app—each dish tempting me until I finally settled on the Ribs. Yes, please! Swipe right on those BBQ delights! The flavor explosion was so intense I half-expected fireworks; my taste buds were definitely on a holiday. And the service? Superb! It felt like I was being waited on by my best friends—if my best friends were super attentive and skilled at balancing trays. They checked in at just the right moments, not like that one friend who texts you in the middle of a meeting asking about dinner plans. Sidetrack, Craig—this one’s for you. Now, if you’re looking for Instagram-worthy moments, Flannigan's has got you covered. Between the vibrant decor and the colorful cocktails, my phone's memory was filled with snapshots of foods and drinks that looked so good, they'd make even Gordon Ramsay crack a smile (and possibly praise the chef!). In conclusion, if you're in Coconut Grove and are looking for a place that serves delicious food while making you feel like you're on a permanent holiday, Flannigan's is calling your name. Just watch out for the nachos—they're so good you might end up having nacho nightmares (because you'll dream about them for days!). So grab your crew, dive into some ribs , and let Flannigan’s whisk you away on a flavor-filled journey. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! 🍻✨
If you like RIBs that FALL off the bone. The Chicken & Ribs combo is my Favorite. Sports Bar Cool Hangout restaurant all in one...
Hopefully the next time I go back my experience will be better. The whole night was hectic because the wait was so long and the place was so packed, but what ruined the night was my girlfriends salmon was extremely undercooked. Edit: Went back a few nights ago and was totally redeemed of my experience. There wasn't much of a wait time, the food came out promptly and was cooked perfect.
My BFF and I went to Flanigan’s in Coconut Grove to catch up and have a late lunch. Our servers name was Al and he was very friendly and an excellent server. Our food and drinks were delivered quickly and everything was yummy. Al was super attentive and funny. We had a fantastic time and the Key Lime Pie presentation was amazing. Thanks Al and Flanigan’s we will be return for sure!
Angelica is the sweetest server I ever had and I have been coming here for 5+ years. She made sure everything was perfect and continuously checked on our table. She deserves a raise
Flanagan is always fantastic when it comes to food. A pure Florida staple. Sometimes the service is slow because of how busy it is, but they do a good job of trying to move it along Bathrooms are usually pretty chaotic with paper everywhere, but it is clean in terms of the toilets in the urinals, but there are so many people there that you can’t control the paper that’s everywhere But I would highly recommend Parking is terrible so you have to find street parking
This place had a great server. The young fella was top notch. The wings are always great and the burger was really good too. FREE parking is rare in this area so that was a bonus.
I always have a great experience thanks to the amazing service from my server, Grace. Not only is she friendly and professional every time, but she always remember my order, which makes me feel like a truly valued customer. It’s the little things like that attention to detail and consistency that really stand out. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Top-notch service every single visit!
Best Flanigans ever.I love to go there on Wednesdays to get my free wings. Food is super yummy. All servers are nice, inviting and professional. Good job guys!
We had an amazing experience at Flanigan’s thanks to the incredible team behind the bar! Gina, Alley and Marianne were absolutely fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. The food was delicious, but honestly, the service was even better. To top it off, the manager Richard personally stopped by to check in and make sure everything was going great — a small gesture that made a big impression. You can really tell the staff here cares about their guests. Can’t wait to come back!
Our Uber driver recommended Flanigan's and we're so glad he did! The atmosphere was great, our server Roberto was awesome and the food was delicious! Their ribs, special batter fried shrimp, and the banzai brownie were wonderful! 10/10!
Ive been in health care and the service industry. Service was phenomenal. Nick was amazing as our guide tonight and i wish he actually taught a class on service! We appreciate the evening as my family and myself celebrated my birthday. We are grateful for a great night!
A true local spot. Best place for ribs in town. Service is excellent but expect to wait to get seated during busy times. Full rack+ fries + pitcher of beer is the tried and true at this place. Don't forget to take your Flannigan's signature green cup home. There's no home in South Florida without one of these cups.
We received excellent service. After our meal, I accidentally left my jacket behind, which had my wallet and passport inside. When we returned about 30 minutes later, they told us it had been taken to security and handed it back to us. I can’t thank these wonderful people enough. Sending warm greetings and love from Turkey!
“I had an excellent experience at Flanigan’s. The atmosphere is very cozy, perfect for family or friends. The service was attentive — our table was served quickly and with a friendly attitude. The food looked great and tasted amazing: dishes were juicy, well-seasoned, and fresh. I also liked the drink options and the daily specials — it shows the restaurant really cares about variety and quality. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the generous portions. I left completely satisfied and looking forward to coming back.”
Historic Flanigans, fun local campy restaurant & bar. Great service, value on food depending on your pick, featured drinks and great happy hour pricing. No reservations & popular, so go early (& get the Nachos!)
Reading reviews online saying this place was great, I went and was very very happy with the food, service and ambiance. The food is exceptional, as is the kindness of the staff. The ribs were phenomenal. It's a very local place. I'll definitely be back!
Flanigan's is quite the high energy bar & grill. There were celebratory tables all over - birthdays with singing servers, and general drink-fueled revelry. The house music was a fairly loud mix of classic/progressive rock and...dance pop. No joke! I dug the Yes and Pink Floyd. As for the food we enjoyed fish sandwiches and fried shrimp along with generous helpings of hot curly fries. The menu is large. Prices were quite reasonable. Service was great. There are many photos of fish and fishermen on the walls. In from Ohio, this was a great dinner the night before our cruise.
Oh my. We came into town to go to the IU football game. Googled places to eat. This came up. It was the best wings I have ever had. The staff was amazing even with our gear on. We loved it so much we went back our last night in town. Best ever.
Went for early lunch at 11am. There was a line by the time we left at 1215. Surely testament to Flanigan’s. The food was delish, the service was fabulous (thanks Xavian) and the price not to be believed. When was the last time you had a 10 oz burger with lots of fries for $7? Recommend the spicy margarita also. (No judgement on day drinking we are on vacation!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The main reason why I went to eat here is the ridiculous 1-star review left by "Aylin Guillen" 4 months ago. I read it aloud for my companions in the silly voice from "inconceivable" guy from princess bride. She saw a roach, in Florida, had a complete breakdown, and wanted a discount. LOL. This place is great. Lunch special is amazing. Beer prices are great and the selection is decent. Daily specials and happy hour can't be beat. Atmosphere is very welcoming and down-to-earth. There's a liquor store next door. Aylin's only other review is 5 stars, and it's for IHOP. That was all I needed to read. Thank you Aylin! Without you I might never have tried Flanigan's and I absolutely love it.
Flanigan’s never fails Going to Flanigan’s is always a guarantee of great food and an excellent experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with that classic touch that makes it feel like a place you always want to return to. It’s spacious, comfortable, and full of good energy, perfect for both family outings and friendly gatherings. The service is consistently great, fast, and attentive. You can tell the team truly cares about keeping the quality and guest experience high, even during busy hours. The food is the real highlight. The ribs are simply outstanding, always with the same unforgettable flavor, juicy and perfectly smoked. The coleslaw and shrimp crackers are the perfect sides to complete an amazing meal. I’ve been to several Flanigan’s locations, and what keeps me coming back is the consistency. No matter which one you visit, you’ll always find great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.
I loved this place. It is so convenient, it is cheap and you can actually get really decent food and cheap drinks. During weekdays they have a wings special. You can get a salad, wings, fries, garlic rolls AND a beer for like $18-$19. Cannot beat that. Wings were actually delicious. Even the salad was tasty.
Was told to visit before I leave Miami and boy, I was not disappointed! Amazing vibes and good music! Everyone very friendly! Visited on a Tuesday and was packed. Melanie and Steve at the reception was great! Tara made sure the drinks were cold and flowing! Truly great staff! Food came out quick and quality food too! Highly highly recommend this place! Was so good, sitting here for a second time! Thanks Amy for the friendly service on my second visit and Jailynn at the door! 🙌🙌🙌
I visited Flanigan’s on a weekday and was really impressed by their special offer — a burger and fries combo for just $7 before 4 PM. That’s honestly a great deal! The burger was delicious and definitely worth trying. After the meal, we ordered dessert, but unfortunately it wasn’t that good, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The place itself has a really cool vibe — it feels like a bar, with a lively and relaxed atmosphere. Overall, I think it’s a great spot for lunch!
Drink prices were very good. Had something I liked as their special. Bartender was attentive and came right over despite it being very busy. Adequately staffed and everyone was hustling. Very loud environment. Fun place
First time in Miami. We were recommended to this restaurant by the front desk worker at our hotel. What interest my family was the fact that they had a really good seafood menu cause we love seafood and it was reasonably priced. 6 of us ordered and not one dish was over $20 it was below. So that was good. I ordered the Rib Rolls dirty rice and Caesar. Some ordered the Philly steak, shrimp scampi, and shrimp pesto and the fried shrimp with baked potatoes. The fried shrimp was so flavorful and well coated. Everything was delicious this will be a place we’ll visit again on our next visit.
All The Food Was Good. Stopped in for dinner on the way to the Hotel Arya. Ordered the Tumbleweed Onions for an appetizer, a Flanitini for a drink, and the ribeye as an entree. The onions were thin and crispy, and golden fried. These were served with a honey mustard sauce. I found the sauce to be a tad bit sweet, but the thin and light crispy onions complemented them well. This is on me for not reading the description well enough beforehand, but the Flanitini continued the sweet theme from the app before. It was almost a bit like drinking a milk shake laced with vodka. Good if you keep an open mind, but a bit sweet for me. I ordered the ribeye with black beans and rice. The rice and beans were spot on. I only added a touch of salt to taste. The Ribeye was also spot on, no additions needed, and was cooked to medium temp as ordered. I have two general complaints, the first was that everything seemed to be a little bit shy of hot (but not quite lukewarm) and my table had some stuck on food that I had to scrape off with a napkin. I won't go crazy about the decor as pretty much all restaurants are themed and you'll either like the theme or not. In this case, this was an Irish theme (as the name would suggest) so lots of shamrocks, green, and leprechauns. Ok, but not particularly my style. Service was timely, friendly, and accurate. No complaints on this end. Overall, it was a good experience and I would eat there again.
It is a good place for sports bar type of food wings nachos and lots more They have weekly menu specials available through out the week. Discounts on alcohol also available during specials hours
The food was good as usual. Service was better. The appetizer came out really fast. The food arrived shortly after. The check was over $100, and this month, you can get a $20 gift card to use from January through March with a purchase of $100+. Please note that you are not allowed to use the QR Code to pay your bill IF you want to get the $20 gift card. Management had to correct this issue with our payment so we could receive our gift card, but it was almost like pulling hairs. The parking is still an issue; most of the parking lot has illegally parked vehicles. It's still a sports bar atmosphere. The wait time was about 20 minutes, especially during happy hour on a weekend with Florida football teams playing on the televisions,
Good establishment if you’re in for something fast. They get backed up and busy so it tends to make things feel sluggish but they’ll get to you if the drinks don’t first
We loved the food, especially the baby back ribs and nachos. Everyone was attentive and welcoming. We had a late dinner. If you take kids it's best to be seated outside cause the music gets very loud after 8. But overall great place. We'll come back!!!!
As someone who’s not a Miami native, I never quite understood the Flanigan’s hype until today. I met a friend for lunch there, and she sold me with the $6.99 lunch special! Yes, $6.99! You can barely get a value meal at McDonald’s for that. And to top it off, the deal includes a drink! I went with the soup and sandwich special, choosing the seafood gumbo, krab salad sandwich, and sweetened iced tea. My waiter, Alejandro, a true Miami native, was incredibly knowledgeable. He filled me in on the daily specials, drink deals, and the fact that Flanigan’s stays open until 5 a.m. I can already see a late-night trip to Flanigan’s in my future. Mainly for the people watching, of course! The only downside? Parking. This place is so popular that the lot stays full, forcing you to hunt for street parking. But honestly, even paying for parking is worth it at these prices!
Beer for $3. My Cajun chicken pasta was just ok. Good portion size and price. The 10 oz new York strip was a good size and really afforable
Mary Jane was amazing — truly kind, warm, and incredibly pleasant. She made our experience so much better. Unfortunately, the hostess Sarah was the opposite. She treated us very poorly and insisted there were no available tables, even though there were plenty of open spots. I politely pointed them out and asked her to come check, but she just repeated over and over that there was ‘no space.’ It was an unnecessary and unpleasant attitude that really affected out visit.
We come here often and we like it! We had chicken salad and fish fingers with black beans on white rice! Both delicious. Today Nickolas was our server and he was friendly, attentive and helpful. First class service! Thanks Nic for being awesome!
First time dining here so didn't know what to expect. It's a lot! The bar music was loud and flashing lights everywhere, lots of tvs. Food was delicious, wait team was super friendly but had a lot on their plates. Very fun time, if you know what to expect.
Food was good, but the service was so bad this time that we may not return. The servers just seemed to not be knowledgeable at all. It started with us ordering waters for our two kids and the server telling us that we would be charged $3.99 for the kids' waters if they used a souvenir cup. We have been to Flanigan's dozens of times and have never been charged for a souvenir cup. Plus, we were going to order them meals from the kids menu anyway, which includes a drink with a souvenir cup. Then, when the dessert came, we told the server about my son's oat and honey allergy and asked if the cheesecake had oats or honey. She didn't know and turned to a woman next to her with a green shirt on (assistant manager maybe?) who proceeded to argue with me about whether or not my son could have wheat or barley.... I clearly told her oats, which are not the same as wheat, but she still didn't understand. She then told us to not risk giving him the cheesecake without even going to the kitchen to ask. Unfortunately, this was not our first bad experience with servers that were not knowledgeable about how to handle allergens. We struggled with this at the Pinecrest location as well when I was unable to eat dairy or soy. The staff don't seem to know what ingredients are in their food or how to find out this information.
This place isn't really a seafood joint - great service and accommodating for a large party but food wasn't there- maintenance dining at best
Great restaurant, but I wish they showed prime rib steak was after 4pm MUCH more clearly. It was in literally smallest fine print. I couldn't order it because I came in around 1pm. So disappointed about that.
I love this flannigans my issue is I was there tonight for the UM game. I ordered food and some drinks and hung out in the outside area. My baby was playing outside with another little girl and they were playing with the mulch. This one employee kept coming by and telling us to please stop our children from playing with the mulch. I thought it was funny because there are so many adults in the area getting drunk I thought wow shouldn't you be worried for the other people in this place. Five minutes later the same guy is outside taking his shirt off ready to fight some other homeless looking guy. I was happy that the homeless guy was getting t kicked out but it made me a little worried about who makes decisions at this flannigans. This guy was walking around telling a two year old TWICE not to throw mulch on sidewalk and then 30 minutes later is also taking his shirt off trying to fight a homeless person. I'm so confused.
We had a large group more than 10, on a Saturday night. It was a 45min wait to get seated even though we were told on the phone we could get seated right away. Our soda drinks were not offered for refills. The ribs and salads were good but the clam chowder was below average and the fries were over salted. Prices were below average for this area.
Everyone has bad days but customers shouldn’t feel them. The hostess interaction at Flanigan’s Coconut Grove (Laura and Viviana) was unnecessarily cold and dismissive. Hospitality starts with hospitality. Do better
BEWARE. Whoever was wearing the Miami Dolphins hat today needs to be fired immediately and banished from any serving job. he was extremely rude and slammed the plates on our table, super aggressive. On top of that, he scoffed when we gave him the tip he deserved (by the way, we were being way too generous for the service). The food was good, but also we were starving so. They also sat us next to a door that was slamming into my partners arm super hard throughout the entire night. beware of that short, rude man with the dolphin’s hat … I’ve worked serving jobs before and would never ever in my life treat a customer that way… Very unprofessional
On October 17, 2025 I visited the coconut grove location Located at 2721 Bird ave. Miami, Florida 33133. Around 3:15, me and my spouse sat at the bar and was greeted by Gina whom was our waiter. My spouse had a pink Stanley water bottle. Ms. Gina mentioned that no open containers were allowed to be at the bar so she gave her a Flanigan's to go bag so she could put the water bottle in the bag. She then proceeded to take our drink orders. At some point my spouse took a sip of her water then went to the restroom. After her sip of water from the Stanley I took it and proceeded to place it back in the bag Ms. Gina gave us, while doing this she immediately said "I already told your friend your not allowed to have open containers at the bar" I then replied understand, it's just water and I'm putting it back in the bag. The conversation escalated, so I asked for a manager due to ms. Gina's unprofessional tone and demeanor. The manager came from the kitchen without greeting or formally asking what the issue was and just said "hey we can't have open containers at the bar, I can lose my license. Before even getting a word out, he responds I'm not going to argue with you and you're not going to go back and forth with me. In frustration I replied "I will speak to you if I want, you are the manager", he said well she was just doing her job, I then replied if that was the case then she should have never tried to circumvent company policy. He immediately walked away and said get out, don't serve him. I will be submitting a formal complaint with the corporate office. I do understand company policy and have no issues following directions. I'm a faithful patron of this amazing restaurant. But the lack of professionalism and customer service from these two employees was disappointing and is not a reflection of the many other flanigans I have frequented in south Florida.
From all the Flanigan’s locations I’ve visited over the years, this was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had. From the start, simply getting service for our table of six was a challenge. Our waitress appeared visibly annoyed and overwhelmed, which made the entire table uncomfortable, we didn’t even feel at ease asking for basic things like napkins, which were never provided to begin with. When it came time to order, the experience only worsened. The waitress seemed rushed, disinterested, and inattentive. After our food arrived, she never once checked in to see if everything was okay. We had ordered hot wings and naturally needed extra napkins, but when we asked, she casually dropped them onto my partner’s shoulder for me to grab, an action that felt careless and disrespectful. To make matters worse, what appeared to be the manager came around offering $20 gift certificates to all tables. One of our guests happened to have a $40 certificate to apply to our bill, and we were told that if we used it, we would need to return the new one they had just given us for a future visit. The manager even came back to retrieve it. The entire exchange was awkward and unprofessional, leaving us all stunned. I’ve always enjoyed Flanigan’s and have dined at multiple locations, but this visit was truly unacceptable. The lack of basic service, courtesy, and professionalism made it one of the strangest and worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Food was amazing as always but our service was not. Freddy(Alfred) not once during our time eating came over to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. My water cup was empty for atleast 10 minutes, finally asked for water, which I shouldn’t have to do, and then he forgets to bring us the water, and we needed napkins. I usually don’t leave reviews but that needs to be fixed.
We recently visited Miami with my husband and friend, we searched for a good restaurant on Google and chose this restaurant with high reviews and high ratings. The atmosphere was nice but the service was a total fiasco from the first entrance! The welcome hostess at the entrance greeted us so coldly that we were surprised. Then they showed us a table, we didn't want to choose because it was in a cramped space, we didn't want to sit at the table the waiter had chosen, he got a bit nervous because we didn't sit at the table he had chosen, it was written on his face. He took us again to a different table 'of his choice' and at least it was more comfortable. We ordered 1 hamburger and 2 steaks, the hamburger was good but the steaks were cold so we didn't like the taste of the meat, we asked them to heat the meat and we could see the dissatisfied look on their faces and we didn't like it! We wanted to eat our food and leave very quickly, it was uncomfortable. If you don't want to do this job, you should look for another job.
We come here at least once a week and I turned and my elbow knocked over the glass and bartender accuse me being drunk. I was very upset because I definitely was not it was a accident. Used to be our favorite spot to go.
Online and phone takeout is constantly closed, restaurant constantly at capacity, never an open barstool. I want to love it because it’s next to my house but wow it’s actually impossible :(
I ordered an IPA, but what I received was not the correct beer. When I pointed it out, instead of addressing the mistake, the attitude I got from the staff made the situation even worse. It’s unacceptable for a place that wants to keep customers to serve the wrong drink and then dismiss the concern. If management allows this kind of service to continue, they’ll lose loyal customers. I would not recommend this spot unless they take accountability and train their staff to actually listen and treat people with respect.
People working here are Karen’s. Went with my boyfriend that had an id from another country (his 34) and didn’t let him to even try my drink, told us that they are going to call the caps. I go out all over Miami. Non place have this policy that you need an American id. They didn’t even let him grab my drink to the table!! So crazy. Such a bad service.
I’ve been coming for years now and for the first time I was denied service. Flannigans is known for its amazing food and great service, yet this was the complete opposite. Stayed here for 2 hours and wasn’t served anything.
Known for their chicken wings… I think not!! Went there around 3:45 am (first time ever) and after apparently taking too long to order the bartender (with large holes in his ears) told us they are known for there amazing chicken wings. We order 10 get back to our Air B N B and these “wings” were BURNT to a CRISP. Disappointing, and we will never be back . If you are a restaurant food should be cooked just as good close to closing as it is first thing in the morning unless burnt is how they always cook their wings🤷🏻♀️ #ShouldhavewenttoMcDonalds!
I wish I could give ZERO stars, I have never had a bad experience at any Flanigan’s except this one. I waited over 2 hours for a table for my family, I asked the manager for help and was completely ignored. We asked 3 different times for assistance and we were told we are just waiting for a table to open up because another party was sitting at the table that apparently was the only table In the entire restaurant that could accommodate 10 People. We asked if we could split up the tables so we could fit 5 and 5… was told by the manager we would work on it. 20 minutes go by and never heard anything- meanwhile while we were waiting for an update they sit a table OF 10 PEOPLE!!!! Completely unacceptable and terrible customer service. We ended up leaving after waiting and being pushed to the side and ignored.
Been a Customer here for over 35 years On duty Hostess (815pm today) and Chris, very unprofessional and sarcastic when addressing wait time concerns of over 1.5 hours, stating we should address it with Corporate. Female Manager handled our concerns quickly and efficiently Richard (Manager) just doesn’t care anymore after 25 plus years at this location Food and table service still amazing Please don’t change the customer service that has had us returning for so many years.
The food was good and met expectations, but the service made this a very uncomfortable experience. Me and my friends are tourists and came in simply to enjoy a meal, but the server who attended us was rude and showed a discriminatory attitude from the start. He gave us trouble for showing our Colombian passports as identification and claimed that without a U.S. ID we were not allowed to be there, which was both incorrect and humiliating. All of us have valid tourist visas and legal status. He also made inappropriate comments related to immigration that were completely out of line for a customer service setting. It’s especially disappointing to be treated this way while visiting and supporting local businesses. The food was fine, but the service was unacceptable. Management should seriously improve staff training on respectful treatment of guests and international visitors.
Juliette, the Rude Waitress On our last night in Miami, we decided to dine at Flanigan’s Seafood Bar & Grill in Coconut Grove, located at 2721 Bird Ave, Miami, Florida 33133. Without a doubt, it was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Our waitress, Juliette, was dismissive, disrespectful, and extremely rude, which only made the experience worse. She clearly needs an etiquette lesson on how to speak to customers without a condescending attitude. The food was dry and overcooked. Ironically, the best items we had were the free appetizers—garlic buns, onion strings, and nachos. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they are completely intoxicated and have a stomach of steel. Very disappointed.
Hi, I eat lunch here three times a week. Never had a problem always excellent, Harbor this time I started the bar and the Lady or the server would not serve me unless I gave her my name. I cannot believe what just happened
I would like to bring to your attention a concern regarding a server named Victor, who is often seen wearing a hat. During my visit, his behavior toward customers was extremely rude and unprofessional. He appeared easily irritated and responded with noticeable frustration over minor matters, which created a very uncomfortable dining experience. Customer service requires patience, professionalism, and respect, and unfortunately, his conduct did not reflect those standards. It was disappointing and concerning to experience this level of attitude in a customer-facing role. I hope management can address this matter appropriately to ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment for all guests.
Always completely packed. Each time I come here, I head towards the bar. Always completely packed. ONCE I sat down and nobody approached me to ask me what I wanted. It was about a 5 minute wait. Experiences like this don't make me want to come here at all. Miller's Ale House? 100% completely different experience
The customer service is terrible. The waiter was upset and made it seem as if I was ordering the food for free. The reheated pork ribs were horrible and tasteless! This is literally the first time I've been to this place where I've received such poor service. When I finished clearing the table, a plate fell on my clothes. It definitely all starts with the staff. This girl was not friendly at all!
Absolutely DISGUSTING. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. The moment we sat down, we noticed a ROACH crawling in our booth . We told the staff immediately, and all they offered was to move us one booth over. ONE. BOOTH. OVER. As if the roach problem stops at a single table. No apology. No urgency. No care for the fact that there are bugs in their dining area where people eat food. It wasn’t until we brought it up AGAIN that they even considered doing anything about the bill. We had to ask for a discount or any sort of accountability and even then, it felt like we were inconveniencing them for expecting basic cleanliness and decency. This place should be shut down and inspected immediately. I don’t care how good you think the food might be no meal is worth risking your health in a place that clearly doesn’t care about sanitation or customer service. Never coming back.
