Happy hour has great drinks and apps. The carbonara and mushroom croquetas, and the braised mussels were so delicious , we ate them before I was able to snap a picture. The grilled snapper sandwich is light and packed with flavor. Bartenders are masters of their craft. Making my paper plane exactly how I like it and their garden gimlet will have you ordering a second round. This restaurant is warm and inviting. Great spot for any occasion!
This Coral Gables establishment kind of snuck up on me. I hadn’t heard of it, and didn’t know it once existed (in a different iteration though). I’m happy to find it now in its current elegant state. The bar is beautiful and would make a great backdrop to a date night. The restaurant was full of people enjoying their happy hour. They have other specials that run throughout the week. We ordered a couple of dishes to share but I will say the stand out was the mussels. The sauce was outstanding, we wanted to sop up every last bit. The bartender Harry was a breath of fresh air.
First time at Sra. Martinez and I made it just in time for the very last day of Michelle Bernstein’s famous Fried Chicken. Absolutely delicious—every bite disappeared from the plate. The carbonara croquetas were a fantastic starter, and service at the bar was ESTUPENDO! Great experience overall.
Harry the bartender was great! We came here during the day just to have a drink, to try it out. And we will definitely be back. The Xmas pop up was exceptional! Buy Harry is what made the whole experience fantastic. Thank you!
Fantastic! Everything is amazing; food, service and ambiance. Every appetizer we ordered was incredible. Btw, you actually get more croquetas than what appears in our photo but we couldn’t stop devouring them lol. They have a great $60 menu I highly recommend and had live music last night on a Friday. This place is a must, we will be returning soon.
Amazing place for dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. Happy hour and special menus are definitely worth checking out. Had the spice menu where you get an appetizer, main course and dessert for $60. The DJ was spinning some great tunes all night. Definitely want to check out the weekend live band someday.
This was our first time to dine at Sra Martinez. I have to admit it was an amazing experience! The quality of the food, the service and the ambience is awesome. Very lively and happening place. Chef Michelle and her husband David are extreme good hosts and very down to earth. On a separate note I love the soflo tv show on Saturdays. Never miss it. Highly recommend the restaurant!!
Went for lunch on Friday. Pet friendly. Our waiter, Dairo, was excellent. Had Miami Spice, Greek salad, salmon and pudding with chocolate and rum infused raisins. Fantastic. The family had chicken dish and a double cheeseburger with a unique baked Alaska. Negroni and sangria were all great. Excellent service. Our waiter was very helpful with selections and recommendations. Highly recommended!
I came here for happy hour with a group of friends and had a great time. They accommodated a group of 8 by the bar. The service was amazing. The waiter was patient and provided suggestions. The staff also refilled our waters all the time and removed the empty plates without us noticing. To drink, I tried the passionfruit margarita. The first time I had it, it was very good. The second time it tasted different. The waiter offered to bring me another but I declined. To eat, I had mushroom croquetas, tuna carpaccio, truffle chips, roast beets and crispy eggplant chips. Everything was delicious. The mushroom croquetas may be one of the best croquetas I’ve had. And the tuna carpaccio was fresh and light. The roast beets were tasty and delicious. All the chips were flavorful. They also had live music, which I loved. The bathrooms were also very clean. I would definitely return here as I liked the ambiance, service and food.
Amazing time as always! Make sure to get your drinks done by Harry. On point! Thank you Sra. Martinez for an exceptional culinary experience.
Had a great time visiting for the first time Sra. Martínez. We had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Bernstein and Sr. Martinez. We started with drinks at the bar. Bartender (young, tall and from Islas Canarias- forgot his name) was pleasant to talk to and he even took our drinks to our table. The hostess was also very friendly and helped us get a table even though we did not have reservations. Our waiter Leandro was beyond our expectations. H explained in detail special and was attentive all thru our meal. Will go back.
Took the family to Sra Martinez for the first time this evening as we wanted to come here for several months. The menu looked amazing and we wanted to try the oxtail paella with bone marrow. Additionally, we had the Greek salad and cuttlefish appetizers and the freshly delivered lamb chops with mint sauce. The food was breathtaking to look at with the presentation and every bite was bursting with exceptional flavor. We finished the evening off with a fantastic Baked Alaska dessert. The atmosphere was very trendy and relaxing with a great live band playing jazz music. As great as the food and atmosphere was, the service was the best we have ever had. The attention to detail by the staff with cleaning the tables, refilling drinks and getting the food hot on the table was unparalleled. Pedro was an amazing server and we highly recommend asking for him to serve your table as you won’t be disappointed. Finally, Jorge was first class all the way. His recommendations were spot on and he took his time and care to visit us often. Their entire staff go above and beyond for their customers and we will be coming back regularly. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible.

As a self-proclaimed foodie and critic, I was ecstatic to try Sra. Martinez's Miami Spice dinner menu. Let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations in every way! We ordered The Carpaccio to start and it was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures—tender beef tenderloin, peppery arugula, sharp parmesan, and earthy truffle dressing. The Ossobuco Paella was a true showstopper with perfectly cooked rice, succulent seafood, and bold Spanish flavors. For dessert, we indulged in the rich and creamy Flan de Coco and the classic Tres Leches Cake—both utterly divine! Also very important this wasn’t your tasting Miami Spice limited portion size, these were the real size! What truly set this dinner apart was the exceptional service. The chef took the time to visit our table and discuss his culinary creations, while the GM (Belen ❤️) graciously guided us through each course. Their passion for food and hospitality shone through in every interaction. In short, Sra. Martinez offers a memorable Miami Spice experience that celebrates Spanish cuisine with flawless execution and impeccable service. Highly recommended!"

Harry was the absolute best and made our yearly girls night unforgettable! The holiday pop up and live music were an unexpected yet lovely cherry on top. Mushroom croquettes are a must try~
Our first visit to Sra. Martinez was one of the most memorable dining experiences of our lives. We had ten people and co-owner Señor Martinez suggested we enjoy the Taste of the Gables selections family style. Everything was exceptional. First, in the spirit of the Spanish theme, I ordered an off menu cocktail, a Vermouth Preparado. Not only was it delicious it was presented to the table by the bartender. The cocktails on the menu were also very creative and tasty. The apps included the chicken liver pate, Carbonara Croquetas, Tuna Carpaccio and Feta Greek..Ish Salad was all so yummy. The mains included Wood Roasted Duck with mole, Hanger Steak with Chimichurru, Mushroom Shwrama and a Covina Filet. All passed the eye roll test, my favorite was the duck. The wines included a 2022 Mondeuse and a delicious Cab Franc from Argentina. Dessert included a dark chocolate Bread Pudding with rum soaked raisins, yeah. The service was just as good if not better. Belen, David and team took great care of us. They even brought out all the Chefs. My only note is the water had a weird taste. Loved they participate with the in kind App. Definitely will be back and can't wait to try the other locations.
We will be back! Fantastic service, food, ambiance. Our server, I think his name was Jamal was wonderful. The side servers and runners tried to be invisible. Clearly all trained to perfection. Additionally, we met Alexander, one of the managers on a table touch. He was so friendly and open. Absolutely lovely human. And one of the co owners Dávid, I think is how it’s spelled. He’s the one that worked so hard to get the restaurant opened. Again showed his experience one of the appetizers wasn’t my cup of tea, it was done to perfection but I’m autistic so it was a texture thing. He immediately offered me anything else. Had that item moved away from me. We’ve eaten at great restaurants, by world renowned chefs. This was Michelin level service. I’m impressed. Update July 30, 2025. Our Yamil we fantastic the service was excellent. We came for Wednesday night fried chicken and it did not disappoint. We met David Martinez and he was amazing and so friendly. This is our new neighborhood date night favorite. We even caught a quick glimpse of Michelle. Made the night perfect
My wife and I went to Sra Martínez expecting it to be good.. but WOW, it surpassed our expectations by a lot. Everything from the attentive service from the moment you walk in, to the amazing and delicious food, and can’t forget the live music which was a nice touch. From the appetizers all the way to dessert, each plate we got, just got better and better. Special shout out to our sever, Pedro. Pedro made us feel right at home and made sure we never needed anything as well as giving us great recommendations. Another thing that set this restaurant apart from many others, was the fact that the owners were present. Not only were they present, but very involved. From greeting guests upon arrival and making you feel welcomed, to bringing food to tables and just overall making sure everyone was happy and enjoying their meal and having a good time. No one skipped a beat. The only thing we were disappointed at was that we hadn’t been to this restaurant sooner! Congrats to the Sra Martinez team for the great hospitality and amazing food, we’ll be back many more times!

I went with a group of 12 to try the oxtail paella I’d heard so much about. It was delicious. It really has a wonderful flavor and was cooked perfectly. Everyone loved their food and this was from a group of foodies. The service was fantastic (compliments to Rodrigo) which was impressive given the size of our group. The band was a little too loud but we were right next to it. Bottom line is this is another great addition to the coral gables restaurant scene. I would go back in a minute.
Romantic, fun, casual with elevated flavors. Awesome happy hour prices. Get both croquetas, you won’t regret it. Service was amazing and friendly. Live music was a nice vibe, not too loud. The staff are experts around here, and we’re so friendly and interactive. Perfect for date night!
Went to Sra Martinez on Sat 2/7. We went in around 7pm, we were only going for some drinks and maybe an app or 2 . We sat at the bar, our bartender Harry immediately offered water and menus. We ordered a couple of cocktails. They were fantastic. His attention to service was excellent. We went with the croquetas and patatas bravas. They were excellent. And decided to get the fried artichokes, these were also tasty along with the dipping sauce. Our drinks were Chocolate Negroni and a vodka lemon basil smash, both made expertly. We really enjoyed the live music and ambience. Will definitely come back with more time to experience dinner.
We stopped by for happy hour and had an amazing experience. Diego was a wonderful server! He was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable (miss that in Miami) The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. The food was delicious! We ordered the burger, mussels, croquetas(mushroom is a must!)and arroz negro, and everything was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!
Sra. Martínez delivers on every level. Incredible food, bold flavors, and beautifully executed dishes. The service is polished and warm, making the whole experience feel effortless. Shoutout to Harry behind the bar for next-level cocktails, and major props to Belu and the management team for running such a tight, thoughtful operation. A must-visit if you care about great food, great drinks, and great energy.
Small portions like tapas so make sure you order many. Food is well prepared and they have bone marrow and chicken liver which is kind of exotic. Overall the place is nice. It was empty when I came there but I recommend.
🌿🍸 Sra. Martinez is a happy hour gem hiding in plain sight in Coral Gables—right next to Graziano’s, with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it front door. Step inside and you’re met with a chic, earthy vibe—dusty pinks, lush greens, and just the right amount of charm. As a gin girl, I shocked myself by preferring the Aviation over the Gimlet (who even am I?). Food-wise, the carbonara croquetas are a must—crispy, creamy perfection. Happy hour bites cover all moods: roasted beets with labneh, crispy artichokes, pan con tomate, a full-on burger, truffle chips, cheese plate… the works. Already plotting a return for Miami Spice and some live music—because good food + good tunes is the ultimate combo.
11/08/2025 Experience is a virtue, and the professional growth this restaurant has achieved is evident throughout its journey, right in the heart of Coral Gables. Food. Congratulations on the new dishes, such as the endive salad and the ceviche. The croquettes remain a classic, though the dish could benefit from a slightly more refined texture on the palate. Service. A special mention goes to Rodrigo, who served our table with great professionalism and consistent attention to ensure the satisfaction of every guest. Ambience. The restaurant was three-quarters full on a Saturday afternoon — a pleasantly surprising sign. However, the live music did not fully match the level and style the establishment aims to project. Conclusion. Without a doubt, a highly recommended spot. Its diverse culinary offering, combined with Italian-inspired décor, creates the perfect setting for a romantic and memorable evening. As a final suggestion, it would be worth reviewing the wine list to ensure it aligns more closely with the quality of the cuisine. 12/27/2024 New Restaurant in Coral Gables: High Expectations, Mixed Results A restaurant promising a Spanish-inspired experience but falling short in execution. Food: Among the dishes tried, only the fried eggplant stood out for its flavor and texture. The rest suffered from overly spiced flavors, incorrect temperatures, and overcooking issues. While there’s an effort to innovate, the execution lacks precision. Service: Excellent. The staff is well-trained, providing impeccable customer service with great attention to detail. Their professionalism enhances the overall experience. Ambiance: The venue features a sober, traditional design with an Italian flair that’s visually appealing. The bar has the potential to become a popular spot, although some of the initial buzz might be due to the restaurant's novelty. Conclusion: While the service and ambiance are strong points, the menu requires adjustments to meet diners' expectations. A review of the dishes could make a significant difference for this promising establishment.

I was honestly underwhelmed by my Friday night visit. The sangria was too whiskey‑forward for my taste so I’d skip it. The Greek salad was surprisingly great, though it felt a bit random for a Spanish place. The patatas bravas were okay. The mashed potatoes came in a tiny portion and were very bland. The snapper filet itself was fine, but the capers weren’t even crispy. The bread pudding for dessert was also not great. Overall, everything felt mediocre. On the positive side, our server was nice and the live music added to the atmosphere. Maybe this place is better suited for happy hour or lunch, but based on this dinner, I’m not rushing back anytime soon.
