5-stars +! Alejandro and Chef Dani made our first experience at Babette Miami truly amazing. We thought that if somebody names their restaurant Babette should be someone who loves food and it is true! Branzino and the duck were perfect. The chocolate/miso sauce for the duck was spectacular. And the double-chocolate dessert, with Venezuelan carenero chocolate. OMG.
The charm, the food, the vibes, the love story. Babette is a such a gem. My bestie and I hosted our birthday dinner there and Alex was not only amazing to work with, but she nailed every single detail that we asked for and I am picky. The chef created the tasting menu and recommended wine pairings along the way and the wine was SPOT ON. They have relationships with smaller vineyards and so we got to try wine that you wouldn’t be able to find otherwise. The food was impeccable. Every course came out on time and there were no bumps along the way. Every single guest was not only impressed, but left with their hearts and stomachs full. Thank you Babette for your passion and love for food and wine 🫶🏽😘
Everything outstanding. Went there for late lunch to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary. Best meal we have had in quite a few years…and we surely have been places!!😂 Alejandro treated us like royalty. Everything perfect, from A to Z. We asked for a chewy red wine, he Recommended a rare vintage Valle de Guadalupe (Mexico) Monte Xanic Gran Ricardo…outstanding. Surprisingly reasonable mark-up ❤️ In fact, the whole experience was better than having our own chef catering. Merits 2-3 Michelin stars. Not cheap, but worth every $$$
I first want to mention how much I adore the film *Babette’s Feast*, so the restaurant’s name, Babette, instantly captured my heart. My appreciation for the place really blossomed during a dinner outing with my sister. Our night was truly spectacular! The food was excellent—definitely try the beet tartare as an appetizer; you won’t regret it! The service was outstanding as well. A big thank you to our server from Madrid 😉 for making our evening so enjoyable!

Incredible service— so attentive! The food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced for the quality. The vibe is great too; old historic house renovated into a restaurant/party space. We got the crab truffle flan as an appetizer, I got the Ricotta ravioli & my boyfriend got the Colorado lamb french rack. Both were so good!! They also made espresso martinis for us, they were great!! Will definitely be coming back
Charming, romantic French restaurant in Coral Gables. The interior is Baroque and very unique. It felt like dining in a small restaurant in Paris. Food was delicious and the service staff were attentive. They had a good bread course to start with warm, freshly baked bread and whipped/shaved butter. The tartars were delicious, and the steak was a good size and well cooked. Whole meal was delicious. The owners are very nice and gave us a gift as we left. Great hospitality.

What a great find! It’s like dining in a Michelin star restaurant in Provence. Met the chef Dani n his partner Alex n discovered he was one of the chefs of the bouley restaurant in nyc, one of my favorites. The food is divine. From the mushroom forager with fresh black truffles, strawberry gazpacho, crab flan(superb), the lamb rack, the lobster and the tarte tatin, every dish is presented beautifully n tastes incredible. The service is impeccable yet friendly. The restaurant is in this bougainvillea covered house. The outdoor courtyard sidewalk dining is romantic. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Babette took over the space in La Jolla and transformed it to a cozy and remarkable restaurant. Everything we had was excellent, especially the truffle gnocchi, carrot soup, and the suckling pig. What stood out most though was the service. We were recommended an incredible wine and we were attended to in a warm and caring manner. Definitely give this place a try!
We chose Babette to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and we simply could not have made a better choice. From the intimate and beautifully appointed dining room to the attentive and knowledgeable staff, our experience was memorable. The food was truly delicious - from the French onion soup, hangar steak and pork cutlet to the classically prepared tatin - we enjoyed every morsel. As a bonus we had an opportunity to meet Chef Dani and Alex, the designer and chief experience officer. An incredible addition to our Coral Gables culinary scene. The ambiance is 5 stars- cozy, great lighting, with candles and fresh flowers. It’s intimate yet so comfortable. The food is great (especially the steak) and the wine is excellent. Would ask what the chef recommends with your dish as they are all very knowledge with pairing the wine with your cuisine.
Babette Miami is one of those places you leave already wanting to come back. Alex and Dani have such a warm, cozy vibe, and the food is honestly so good. The venison was unreal and the chocolate dessert with kumquat was a perfect finish. After dinner we went to Romeo next door for drinks, and it was such a fun way to end the night!
Atmosphere was excellent -quiet, understated decor. Very relaxing. Service was very good, some minor snafus that need to be cleaned up if the service is to match an amazing meal. Food was superb - this is a hidden gem of a restaurant. You won’t find better in the area! Amuse bouche was an outstanding carrot and ginger soup - excellent. One of our party wanted to order an appetizer of it. Neither taste overwhelming the other - I was afraid the ginger would be too strong, but it was perfect, just enough but not too strong. Beet tartar was surprisingly excellent - not much of a beet person, but chopped up and a light slightly spicy dressing made me want to try to make it at home. Beef tartar was very good, but not at the level of the beet. Halibut was perfectly prepared, with a light sauce thankfully on the side (in case) but fortunately it was perfect with the fish. Suckling pig was PERFECT. Crispy skin but not too thick/tough, meat tender and juicy, not dried out, and a perfect sauce to accompany but not overwhelm the pig. We were too full to try anything but one dessert - flourless chocolate cake - also amazing. One of the best three restaurants that we have eaten at in Miami in the past three or four years

The room and table setting were beautiful. We were given a prefix menu due to our size and I found it hard to choose between the great options listed. Food was good, service was great, and the ambiance was on point. The upstairs lounge is a fun option for after dinner drinks.

Babette is a charming & cozy treasure of a restaurant with wonderful food and service! We were treated like welcome guests in the home of longtime friends, though it was just our first (but not our last) visit. Some shout outs to dishes we particularly loved-- the garden vegetable appetizer (fresh and the perfect start to the meal), the branzino (simply prepared & delicious), and the mussels (didn't try them but my husband loved them). This place is absolutely adorable. Wine was amazing and the bread was heavenly. The carrot soup they offered as a tasting was also delicious. I for thanks our French onion soup was ok but our mussels and lamb were inedible. We really wanted to love this place but the entrees failed the mark. The waiter was very nice and offered us the opportunity to order something us but we decided to pass.
