Everybody in Miami Beach walks around holding a box of Groovy's Pizza, I wanted to know what the hype was about so I walked in, and, as you might have guessed, this restaurant served pizza! It tasted amazing!

Great food and nice staff. If you are hungry and want a thick slice of Pizza that’s your place.

Bartender, Alisha, is awesome. Wings were delicious, ask for them extra crispy. Ok, look, this is a dive bar perfectly located in the heart of Lincoln road. Nice TVs, perfect for an important sporting event. Alisha even put the audio on for my Chicago Bears game. I live in Miami Beach since 2014 and I’m surprised this place doesn’t get better reviews. Ok the pizza is not great. Perhaps they should change the name of the place to Groovy Beers or Groovy Wings, because for a drink or wings, this place is just fine. 5 star dive bar!

Made a custom pizza Madium pie Mushroom were extremely fresh not from a can like most pizzerias does, oniona and fresh Basil ! It was very delicious!! Thank you will stop again when be back :)

Okay so this is the 2nd restaurant I've visited tonight... it's 3:30 am. I first went to this nasty wing place called Wing Spot on 13th and Washington, stay away!! I was so fed up that I decided to try this place on the end of Lincoln road mall around the corner from Zara.. mind you it is almost 4am... so I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs will caprese salad and I'm actually pleased. Obviously this isn't a 5 star restaurant but the food was good for the price and actually had the flavors I was craving. The tomatoes were very fresh(caprese). Thanks, will be returning on my next late night Netflix binge 😂 Singed, Hungry college student.

From denver, loved the huge slices of pizza!! Very affordable!! I tried the cheese slice, then the cheese with tomatoes and spinach. Im so happy we found this place. Cheap, delicious, and close to where we stayed!!

Huge slices of pizza for like $4.50 which was nice compared to how expensive other places are. Was a cool spot to end a night at and drink beers, eat outside, and people watch because there is a lot going on outside!

The kinda of pizza place that has you drooling over their pizza before it even comes out of the oven. May I just YuMmmmm. Their pizza slices are the size of their boxes. Massive and Amazing. Late night pizza when you have been drinking and you're super hungry at 4 AM. Not only for when you are drunk as it is Absolutely Delicioso!! 👍🏻😝 I highly recommend this to anyone close or nearby.

Was lucky enough to get a GREAT waiter, very personable and kind. He gave me baklava to take home because he saw how much I liked it! Pizza was great, ate two slices which I normally don't do. Give it a try!!

The Best Pizza in the World! Their service is very customer friendly. Their pizza has a thin delicious crust. Groovy's will spoil your appetite for pizza. I can't eat other major brands like I used to anymore. I rather drive the hour for pizza! Their pizza l, service, and laid back atmosphere is worth the drive.

This place was excellent!! We were visiting Miami and found this place on Google and decided to check it out. The pizza was AWESOME! The dough was amazingly fresh with a great flavor, the pepperoni was sliced nice and thin and the whole pizza was delicious! They even give you a little packet that has plates, forks, knives, napkins and a menu inside of a paper bag all ready to go with your food. Next time I come to Miami, I'm definitely going back!

Been here a few times and it's actually one of my favorite pizza spots. You just can't go wrong here. The staff is nice, I love the place, great location, good seating, and just good pizza. I never tried anything else bc I see that they also sell wings, burgers, fries, etc. Man I ordered one slice, extra cheese and ham. And boyyy it was literally the best ham n cheese pizza I've ever had. Literally!

Great Pizza! Just make sure to have them re-heat your slice long enough so the crust is crispy. We got a slice one time that was very doughy/undercooked. Still tasted good but not as good as it usually is

La verdad que excelente lugar para comer mucho por poco dinero. Una pizza completa o pie como le dicen ellos comienza desde los 17usd, y alcanza para 3 personas que comen mucho. Si tienen extremadamente mucha hambre, hay una opción más grande de pizza que suele salir entre 5 y 10usd más que la regular. Es inmensa, debe ser de un diámetro de 1 metro. De verdad, son enormes. Además si te parece muy cara la bebida, justo al lado hay un supermercado, y mientras uno compra la pizza, otro puede ir comprando cerveza 🍻 o algún otro tipo de bebida y ahorrar unos usd. La verdad que la atención, excelente, la persona que me atendió, me hizo chistes todo el tiempo, muy simpática. Sin quejas de este lugar. Suele estar muy concurrido, así que puedes llegar a esperar hasta 30 minutos si pides una pizza completa. No hay problema si hay que esperar vale la pena. Volvería siempre. Son una masa. It was my first time on Lincoln road. I was famished. It was hot AF and there was gourmet pizza EVERYWHERE. All I needed in my life was a greasy piece of regular pie. This fit the bill and then some. It was chill atmosphere, music was pumpin', and the restroom was secure! What more could you want except delish food. It was! Hot, greasy, and cheesy to the last bite. Can't wait to go back.

Tried veggie pizza slice. The taste was fine and we liked it, the price is little bit on a steeper side given that u r having a pizza slice and not a pizza. But given the hot location, I guess its expected.

Not your typical pizza parlour. The crust tastes home made and they aren't afraid to load up the cheese on these monsters. Very tasty, but a little tough to eat (I found it was falling apart). It's definitely fork and knife pizza. Good luck trying to eat a slice on the go.

The wings were great, the pizza was ok, but our server Freddy was short, impersonal, and barely checked in. Gratuity is added automatically to all checks, and so I guess the care that goes into good service wasn't a concern. There was also this man walking around that constantly harassed us about snow crabs and steak for another restaurant. He was sweating profusely, and apparently could not understand the cues to leave the table when we became uninterested. He came back continously. The $4 and $5 sodas are in cans and bottles and unrefillable. Don't get the sweet tea if you like brewed. Its Snapple. People were also smoking in the non smoking part of the restaurant. I noticed that the owner gives a copy and paste response to all complaints about his restaurant. Don't bother responding, train your servers to give better than good service, and stop allowing people to harass your customers while they are dining.

I came here for a Second time in less than 2 days because the Pizza was great! - pizza is defínete la 5/5 stars. However... This Guy in the Register is such an A***Hole. His name is Tiago/Diago something like that... And he makes your experience here Horrible. When I ordered a Sprite he gave me a bottle that was already opened and got Upset when I told him to change it. It's 1pm on a Sunday... And he makes me wait 30min for a Cheese pizza but Thats Not the problem. I have a LOT of patience. The problem is that he literally had no etiquette to Scream it at me when I was less than a meter away from his face. Made me feel very uncomfortable. --- when the pizza was ready he screamed at me again... While I was sitting at their tables inside and literally threw the box of the pizza in front of me... Which is why I decided to do this review. --- I'd rather spend triple the money for someone with manners than to come here and experience this again. ---- Ps: Tables, were really Dirty.

We ate here and regretted it. The pizza was not fresh at all, the dough was sweet and somewhat buttery- maybe that is a Florida thing, but as a New Yorker, it really did not work for me.

For pizza go to Spris or pizza rústica. The eggplant dip wasn’t the best. The cocktails were much better but pricey. Service was ok but forgetful.

If I could give -5 stars as a rating I would. Not only was the food horrible but the other groovys on 27th ave actually gives you fries with your sandwiches, this one doesn’t even consider it.

This place sells tickets for miami tours and Bahamas and I went inside to ask about how much Bahamas one day cruise would be he said $190 and he was very rude talking to my husband and to me and then I asked him for a card he gave me their card that says Bahamas tour is $159. So I asked him how in the world are you selling this for $190 and you card says $159 he said it says from and it didn’t so be careful they rib off. I didn’t end up buying it of course i bought it from someone else for $149 LOL.

AVOID!! Placed a late night order while staying at the Fontainebleau Hotel and waited an hour for it to be delivered only to find out that the driver gave it to some random people in the lobby. Horrible customer service and worst experience at a pizza place! Ever!

Terrible delivery experience, it’s been more than 2 hours the pizza still hasn’t arrived while I am only .4 miles away from the location. And I had called the place to check on the order and every time they made a different excuse.

The pizza and service were alright, until one of the employees came outside and started screaming at a family to leave for no reason.

I work at a pizza shop where all the ingredients are homemade so coming to this pizza shop was a huge disappointment. The cheese looked very questionable, and I couldn't eat the slice without all the cheese falling off or the bread breaking. I also spilled my soda because of a wobbly table I was sitting at, the waiter replaced it which was very nice but then he came back and said that his boss told him to take it back because spilling the soda was my fault. Unbelievable. Wouldn't recommend to anybody, save your money!!!!

GREAT PIzza! However I have to share my experience on March 13. Ordered a pizza for delivery received confirmation it would arrived 6:00pm it arrived 1 1/2 hours later and was COLD when I called the person answering the phone YELLED WHAT DO YOU EXPECT YOU LIVE 37 BLOCKS AWAY AND HUNG UP ON ME. I was shocked I paid $30 plus tip for a COLD pizza no apology. I give four stars for the pizza. UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!

Hi! i want to share with Horrible Experience with this Place, especially with Delivery Service! I'm working at the front desk in the Hotel Pestana, 1817 James Avenue. On Monday 6/3/2019 one of our guest ordered pizza pepperoni medium. When i worked, Delivery man arrived with pizza. He interrupted conversation with guest and said: let me give you pizza, because i have another orders!! it was so rude!! i gave him $20 dollars. Check was on $19.35. When he took the money he said, ; oh how much on check?? i show him check and he said OH I THOUGHT YOU HAVE A BIG HEART, BUT I SEE YOU DON'T HAVE!!! YOU LOOK GOOD BUT YOU HEART NOT GOOD, BUT ITS OK!!! AND i said, look i pay you not from my pocket, it's not my order!! All this things happen in front of guest. He even didn't think to apologize for his BEHAVIOR! in Lobby was other guests and our Operation Manager! Everybody hear what he said!! It was Shock. it was not my personal order, it was ORDER OF the Guest!!! i understood that he upset, because he didn't got TIPS! BUT I REPEAT IT WAS NOT MINE PERSONAL ORDER!!! You have to THINK before, to say something!!!

After the waitress asked the unfriendly manager if we can sit down and just have something to drink we were asked to leave the restaurant..simply a no-go, won't come again. We've been eating at Groovy's Pizza in Coconut Grove several times during the week and the staff there was very kind and friendly, everything was perfect there.

Too expensive for a less than an okay pizza. On Saturday march 23, We were walking in Lincoln Rd with family and friends and decided to try this pizza place. (4 people) Ordered a large 14" cheese pizza with one pinapple topping, , an order of chicken wings ( 10 Pcs) 2 teas and a 12 oz can of coke soda. $74.00 was just too much for a pizza that we all ate only half of what we served in the plate. It was not a good pizza at all. At Pizza Hut or Papa' Johns that would have been somewhere in the $25.00 to $35.00. $74.00 was just too much for a less than desirable Pizza.

I’m a local, been to the Resturant a handful of times because I live 4 blocks away. Tonight my 3 year old son fell and scraped his knee. I walked next door to the restaurant and asked politely for a paper napkin. Their response was that it’d cost me $1 for one paper napkin. I am beyond angry right now. I’ve never been so offended in my own city.

I wouldn't recommend going here. Found out they charged my card after they told me it declined and ended up paying in cash. I got the charge disputed, but took a while. There are other pizzerias around this area, so don't go here. Pizza isn't that great either, crust was stale and overpriced.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Some fat arrogant waiter with a mohawk and a mole on his cheek tried to scam me into a 20 percent tip when all he did was bring me water and a bucket of beers. I believe the receipt stated his name was Max M. I told him to change the tip to a generous 15 percent and he got angry and told me to get out of the restaurant. He even followed me outside the restaurant to continue his unwarranted behavior. Usually I don't take the advice of lazy, rude and arrogant waiters but I believe its a good idea to take his advice and not visit this lousy establishment again.

I'M OUTRAGED BY THE LACK OF HOSPITALITY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I ordered $20 plus dollars worth of food from Slice which is the platform they use to get orders at 2:22 am. Barely anywhere else is open and or delivers. I sat there starving trying to get a hold of the restaurant to know where my food is and no one is picking up. So i later at 4 decide to go to bed and just wait for the morning to see what went wrong. I call the next day and not only do they refuse to give me a refund but they tell me the fact that i did not get my food is not their problem. I contact Slice and they tell me they cant authorize a refund without the restaurants permission. So yesterday i call the restaurant once again to see if they would at least give me a coupon for the money that i paid for the food i did not get. when i call and ask for the manager the man on the phone hangs up. i call back and he hands the phone over, when i get on the line with the manager he tells me that they threw my meal away and will not be giving me the money back due to the fact that they made it and it doesn't really matter if i received or even looked at my food im still paying for it and will not be receiving nothing in return. As i was explaining to the manager that its my money that i worked for and in a sense what they were doing is theft, he yells at me, tells me he doesn't care what i do he's not giving me anything unless i pay full price for something else, tells me in taking up his time, tells me go bother Slice and hangs up in my face also refusing to pick up any of my later calls. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY!! Considering im a first time customer. The manager was no help and im sure its privately owned and there is no cooperate to complain to. THE WORST PIZZA PLACE ON MIAMI BEACH, THAT PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND BURNED TO THE FLOOR.!! ILL BE KEEPING MY BUSINESS AT PIZZA BAR MIAMI BEACH FOR NOW ON.

They didnt have much if selection of Pizza slices but they were big. The woman who served me was moving to fast that she didnt let me finish saying what I wanted to add to my pizza. Then I tried to order a drink to go with it, she walked away but then I had to ask again. Then I get outside and sit to finally eat my pizza and neither of us liked it and ended up tossing it. Wouldn't recommend this place or go back.

Don’t go. Horrible pizza. When they first brought it it was raw. The manager said they would cook it again. We told her they would overcook the cheese. And that’s exactly what happened—when they brought again it was raw and the cheese was over cooked. We asked the waiter to call the manager. 10 minutes later she came with the bill. She didn’t charge us for the pizza—but we still had to pay the 18% “mandatory gratuity.”

The pizza really was not that good at all and not worth the price. I will not be returning here and I will tell everyone I know not to ever buy pizza from here and I will tell them to tell everyone they know not to get pizza here as well. My main issue is that the restaurant does not give out free tap water which I’m pretty sure violates Florida statue 509.221. This is an extremely tainted practice because the area is very hot and humid and people need to drink. But the restaurant rather deny you a basic human right which is water and have you pay for a water bottle instead for their own profit. Overall a horrible experience, will never return.

The Women at this establishment seem extremely miserable. I don't know if its because they work at a pizza place or because of the mean and drunk people who come in, BUT the Professionalism IS NOT THERE especially in Regards to the Spanish Woman with the dark black hair. She's nasty and gave me a bad taste in my mouth I didn't even want to eat the pizza or pay. Her nasty disposition is all because I asked "can I pick my slice" she mouthed something nasty and sat my pizza below the register didn't even proceed to put it in the oven, she then snatched my Visa out my hand. I loved this pizza but I probably wont return I will be contacting management in the MORNING! NOBODY wants to spend their money with a establishment ridden with disgusting horrid souls! DO BETTER
