Whether you're exploring Miami's diverse culinary scene or seeking a memorable dining experience, Lagniappe is your go-to destination for a taste of the South in a vibrant Miami setting.
Lagniappe is a popular spot with a great outdoor patio and live music, especially jazz and folk. Customers enjoy the ambiance and self-service cheese and wine. A major drawback is the limited bathroom facilities, leading to long waits.
Tip: Enjoy the live music and outdoor patio, but be prepared for potential waits for the restroom.

Loved checking out this place. Definitely a different antique place. We came too early to see the live music however it was still a fun vibe for drinking. I loved they also allowed you to pick your cheese for charcuterie and then put it together for you. Such a cool concept. Wine tasted great! It's a fun place to check out if youre visiting Miami and looking for a unique way to spend some time.
Lagniappe is such a lovely place to meet up with friends and enjoy a great glass of wine. It’s the perfect spot to relax while sharing a charcuterie board with cheeses and prosciutto. The atmosphere is cozy, lively, and fun — you often end up meeting new and interesting people. One of the best things about this place is its beautiful outdoor garden seating with string lights, which creates a warm and magical vibe, especially at night. It truly feels like a hidden gem in the middle of the city. It does get very busy, so it’s best to arrive early because finding a table can be difficult. However, it’s absolutely worth it. Its central location is another big plus — if you want to continue the night afterward, you’re already right in the heart of Miami. I really love this place and highly recommend it, especially for a fun and memorable time with friends.
Always a good time here, one can tell by the way it’s always packed. Beautiful patio to enjoy some wine, a charcuterie board, and a nice conversation. Occasionally, we sit inside and enjoy the music, but it could be challenging if you are trying to have a conversation, worth it though. We especially love how well priced everything is, there are only a few places left with Lagniappe’s vibe, and none truly like it. Miami has seen an increase in wine bars over the last 5 years, but there is something nostalgic and beautiful about this place. It continues to be at the top of my list.
The charcuterie is amazing! Also the server was so nice. I went with 1 other person and we thought “oh this isn’t that much cheese or meat, we should grab more” the staff kindly told us we definitely don’t need so much. Thankful they told us because we couldn’t eat what we did get. But oh it was so good and such a fun concept for a quick bite! There are also some really good and fun beer selections!
Beautiful place to drink and taste wine. I loved the concept. The place looks like it was a house before. With the lobby being the main jazz place where you can see live music. It is free to entrance you only pay for what you consume. Now after you order in the entrance they will arrange your charcuterie board. The outside is basically like an outside backyard with a bunch of chairs. No music outside which was VERY LAME and thus why I give it a bit lower rating. All and all very delicious wine at very affordable prices. Food is good prices too.
Loved this spot, such a great ambiance and vibe. The wines, meat and cheese selections were perfect. Highly recommend for a date or chill night with friends
Was awesome but PACKED - but it didnt take away from the experience for me. Went for the blues band Mojo Hands but stayed for the wine and charcuterie. Recommend you go early if you want to secure seating
The atmosphere of the venue is truly amazing. If you’re in Miami and want to experience a European vibe, this place should definitely be among your top choices. The concept is that as soon as you enter, you’re welcomed by cheese and wine sections. You can pick your desired items, create a plate, and choose your wine. After paying at the counter, you move on to the seating area. We loved the concept and would rate it a solid 5 out of 5. We tried a cheese platter, six different wines, red meat, white meat, and vegetables, and everything was quite excellent. The red meat, in particular, was outstanding. Just a note: bringing your own drinks from outside is not allowed. The only downside of the venue was the extremely loud music. Apart from the live music, the noise in the garden area was also very loud, making it hard to hear our friends. We had to shout to communicate, which made us wish for a quieter setting. Despite this, it’s still worth a visit overall.
Always the most incredible live jazzy type bands! I come in here every chance I get for an ear-gasm. One time I heard a jazz inspired Pink Floyd band here that blew my mind. I absolutely love this lil low lit jazzy vibe, this frequency makes me so happy 😁
Love Love Love. Great selection of wine and cheeses! Amazing space to sit, talk, relax and reconnect with your friends. Will be back. Highly recommend you to try this wine
Saying I love this place is an understatement. The atmosphere is unmatched, mood lighting, live music, good wine, and good company. The service is excellent. There’s one bartender in particular who is such a sweetie. It’s a beautiful cross generation meeting ground. Highly recommend.
To say you’re a Miami resident and never been to Lagniappe should not be used in the same sentence. You walk in to a New Orleans style live music wine bar. A fridge on your right is LOADED with all kinds of cheeses and cured meats. A really thorough selection. Then straight ahead of you is a huge wall of wine. Prices of all levels and from all locations worldwide. You then get loaded up on wine and charcuterie And head outside to a relaxing outdoor patio/ lounge setup. Really amazing spot. A+++
We love this place. It really take advantage of the outdoor space and now that the weather is cooling off we are looking to outdoor dining more. The wine selection is on point and the vibes are good.
What a great place to go for some wine and charcuterie! You pick your bottle of wine, your cheeses and your meats and they will build a board for you! The seating outside is super cute and charming, and inside (although there's not much room) there is live music. Definitely recommend this place for a date, birthday, or just a night with friends
What an incredible find. Easily my new favorite wine bar in all of South Florida. There’s something magical about this place, the atmosphere is welcoming and the eclectic decor makes you feel right at home. I will definitely be making a visit the next time I’m in Miami or when family and friends are in town.
I am crazy about this place! The set up is so much fun. It's easy to be social due to the communal tables, or keep to yourself if you want to enjoy your food and drinks in peace. The food choices aren't vast, but the quality of the food is good. The wine choices are plentiful and diverse. And there's great music. You should DEFINITELY go!!
One of the best places I’ve being to in Miami. Place is absolute magic, lovely vibe, amazing service, unique modern bohemian decoration. RECOMMEND for any type of date.
Is a really good place, you could go with friends and have a really pleasant moment. The place work easy, choose the wine between red, white, rose or sparkling, then select the cheeses, parmesano, blue, manchego, etc, then select jam, prosciutto and finally you pay. The guys in the bar add bread, olive and jelly! I recommend this place 100%
Very cool lounge in Wynnwood. There is live music and a large seating area in the back. I love that you can pick your own wine bottle, as well as cheese and meats. The vibe is very relaxed, there are lots of large groups enjoying a social evening together. It's a very cool spot. I absolutely recommend checking Lagniappe out when you are in Miami.
If you like wine, good company, and an outdoors garden setting this is the place to go. It’s extremely enjoyable and beautiful. You can choose wine bottles between $20-$100 and share with friends. My group of 8 also shared a cheese platter and it was delicious. My favorite was the truffle pecorino. It’s mostly self serve but everything is well organized and fast. You can catch some live music inside too. Dog friendly (probably the best part) and well located. We did try some of their beers as well. They were ok. Wouldn’t recommend going there for beer. Wine is best. 🍷 Would love to come back. Perfect for celebration, a casual get together or a romantic day with someone.
Just had an incredible night at a jazz club in Miami! The wine was flowing, the charcuterie was delicious, and the live music was out of this world. The trumpeter channeled his inner Louis Armstrong and blew us away with his playing, while the piano player worked himself into a frenzy. The entire band was hot and heavy, and the atmosphere was electric. Such a great time, everyone was really feeling the music and enjoying themselves. Can't wait to go back!" 🎶🍷🎹 #MiamiJazz #LiveMusic #GoodVibes #LouisArmstrong #JazzClub
Absolutely loved this place. It was exactly as described in other reviews. Great vibe, awesome concept, build your own charcuterie w/ good vicarious selectios, not a bad price, nice selections of wines, good live music, good crowd with a wide range of ages. Suggestion: arrive early to get a spot. Nice safe parking around the corner. Overall, FANTASTIC place to get out, people watch and converse with your friends.
agniappe is pure magic. From the moment I stepped into this effortlessly cool, New Orleans-inspired wine bar, I knew I was in for something special. The backyard patio, strung with twinkling lights and filled with mismatched furniture, felt like a secret garden of live music and great conversation. The wine selection? Impeccable. The charcuterie and cheese? A dream. There’s something about picking your own bottle, grabbing a plate of perfectly curated bites, and settling into a cozy corner while live jazz fills the air—it’s an experience, not just a night out. For a first-timer, Lagniappe exceeded every expectation. It’s unpretentious, vibrant, and full of energy. Whether you’re catching up with friends or simply savoring the moment, this place is a Miami must. Can’t wait to
This was the highlight of our weekend in Miami. We stopped in late looking for a nice glass of wine and were pleasantly transported to another world in the outdoor patio. We missed the music, but felt connected to a beautiful community of friends and families enjoying every moment until they're too tired to stay awake. Michael at the register made our evening sharing ideas, reads, and tips on wine. We'll definitely be back and hope it never changes.
I’d describe it more as a wine bar and a fantastic hangout spot. They’re more popular for wine and charcuterie boards but also have bbq to order which is delicious. Great variety of wine offered by glass or bottle. Also friendly staff, they’d kindly help you find what you like and let you taste it before purchasing. You can customize your charcuterie board by choosing the cheese and meats from the fridge, they’ll assemble it for you if you’d like to. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend! Great vibe and music, beautiful vintage European decor inside and a huge backyard with flexible sitting. The only reason for giving a 4 on service is that it’s self-service and could be a long line for order/pick up during busy time.
Perfect place to drink wine, in a relaxed atmosphere, european style patio, casual unpretentious. Most of the crowd is young and they play nice jazz inside.
A truly unique experience for wine enthusiasts awaits at Lagniappe. Select your wine from an extensive array of options and regions, complemented by the freedom to choose your charcuterie, cheese, and meat from their fridge. The indoor setting boasts a classic, vintage design, and there's a spacious backyard. Whether it's a cozy date night or a gathering with friends, this place is perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone.
Talk about a class establishment. This place has all the things you need: alligators, Abita beer, the Voodoo Bar, and some ceiling tiles that are painted. I would give it a 5 star on the atmosphere but my ex-gyalfriend denied a proposal from me right in front of my parents (both of which are on dialysis). Would recommend this place to my best friend (if I had one).
Counter service food, beer & wine place. Pick your own cheese and meats from coolers at the front (every packaged item has a separate price on it). Then take it up to the front and for $5 they add bread, fig spread and olives AND they will cut and prepare your charcuterie board for you. They have a beer garden in the patio area as well as an extra wine cooler. They offer samples of wines that they already have open inside. Bottles of wine are pricey but worth it in comparison to buying glasses of wine. Self seating and no server so you spend as much time as you want here. Live music every night from 9pm-Midnight!
Always have a great time here. Perfect for dates, happy hour or really anything. Great selection of wines at a decent price. Food options are limited but always good and love rhe cheese selection too! No reservations so you have to go early to find a place. Always good place for wine
Came upon Lagniappe more or less by accident. We were staying at a motel just around the corner. A happy, happy accident. We were initially confused about how to enter but when we did we were hit by a wall of noise and chaos. And we were not really sure what the deal was. We struck up a conversation with Daniel who explained about the "Pick a bottle, pick your charcuterie experience. But also explained that you can buy by the glass too. Daniel also discussed with us our wine preferences to advise on the best choice from the current open bottles. We chose by the glass, although by the end of the evening it would probably have been more economical to have bought a bottle! We both had rare steak churrasco from the service bar in the next room. Possibly the best meal we had in 2 weeks of our road trip from New Orleans to Key West and back to Miami. Simple but tasty and cooked just right for us. We struggled to find a table but luckily another couple were happy to share with us. When we got up to go we had barely stood up before others had grabbed our chairs! It is a very popular place. There was live music from a country group, Low Ground, that I would describe as blue grass inspired. Hopefully, they agree. Due to the long day I had had with driving, jet skiing and snorkeling I was fighting with sleep during the end of their set but that was NOT due to the quality of their music but my frailty. We both very much enjoyed their set and stayed until they finished at midnight. At which point we left. No idea how long it is open to but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Always on point! This place never disappoints. Great atmosphere. Amazing wine selection and even better hang out spot. You pick the wine and you pick the horderves. The outdoor sitting is always the best and of course they have a great jazz style band in the front. THE BEST casual hangout in Miami 😍
This quaint little restaurant is a hidden gem. They have a wine and cheese room with a very nice selection. They will plate your selection with olives, baguette bread, fig jam. No table service here. Pick your table, go up and pick your food and drink and they will text you when it's ready. They have ice machines and you can get your own buckets of ice. Very reasonably priced.
Only had a couple of glasses of wine, the place was packed so couldn’t say much for service as it was basically queuing to get a drink but friendly enough. The vibe of the place is amazing and as for food we might try it in another visit. Looked amazing tho. Great parking.
Excellent patio to go and chill with friends..or family….They play live music inside..(is small though..but nice..Good variety of wines and beer(but not the classics)..Food doesn’t get the 5 stars ‘cause is not a food restaurant..but you do choose the cheeses and hams that you want..charcuterie like..Go early or you risk it to stay up until you get a table…
Wow, what an incredible experience! The moment I walked into this place, I was transported to a world of smooth jazz and sophistication. The live jazz music was top-notch, with talented musicians who knew how to create a lively atmosphere. The music was soulful and captivating, and I found myself getting lost in the rhythm. The ambiance was cozy with a warm and inviting decor that made me feel like I was in a secret speakeasy. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to come back for more! 5 stars and a standing ovation! 🎶👏
Lagniappe is a fun local spot where you can pick your meet and cheeses from a fridge, and then they add olives, bread, and jam for only $5 and plate it! The outside seating area feels like a jungle and they have plenty of seating. Great place to play cards or just chat with friends. The inside part had live jazz music but was just smaller and had limited seating.
Nice place to chill, nice charcuterie and wine selection. It gets pretty busy so be patient, it can also be hard to get a table specially for bigger parties.
Very cute and cozy place. I enjoyed my wine and charcuterie. Was hard to find seating but once we did things were great
This place has so much to offer to locals and visitors!! Not only do they have over 150 different varieties of wines, but the live music makes it that much better. The inside seating is pretty tight, however the outdoor seating offers a variety of large and small tables and chairs. They also have many cheese and cold cuts platters. The ordering is straightforward and quick. If you're looking for a great atmosphere to hang out with friends or listen to good music and sip a glass of wine, this is your place.
This place is so good and so cool I came two nights in a row. Night one sat solo: bought a Carlsberg, ordered skirt steak, and people watched. Night two: came with a friend and got a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate to share. As a solo lady then with a friend I felt pretty ok walking from the Hampton Inn down the block to here and back; however, didn’t stay past dusk.
This winery is such a beautiful spot with the most charming aesthetic—I absolutely love it. The mix of random chairs all around is so funny but also adds to the character and vibe of the place. It has an antique feel that makes the whole experience cozy and unique. The charcuterie boards are great since you get to pick and customize them exactly how you want, which makes it even better. Overall, it’s the perfect spot to come with a group, enjoy each other’s company, and sip on some great wine. P.S the jam is AMAZINGG!
This bar is a cool and unique spot, perfect for a fun night out or a laid-back evening with friends. Inside, there’s great music and a lively vibe, while outside, the spacious patio offers a more relaxed atmosphere, ideal for unwinding and sharing good moments. One of the best things about this place is the great prices, especially for wine lovers, as they have a solid selection. But what really makes it stand out is that you can create your own charcuterie board, choosing from a variety of cheeses, meats, and accompaniments to customize it just the way you like. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the music inside or chill out in the patio, this spot has something for everyone. Great ambiance, good prices, and the perfect mix of energy and relaxation—definitely worth checking out!
Highly recommended!! I recently visited with a group of friends for the first time, although I had heard a lot about the place from my friends who have been here before. It was a Thursday night, bustling with people chatting and enjoying their time. The music was excellent, creating a perfect ambiance. The selection of wines was impressive, and the charcuterie boards were absolutely fantastic. Everything was spectacular, and I can’t wait to return for more unforgettable nights like this!
Beautiful local spot. Remember coming here the week they opened... so much has changed in this city, but one thing that hasn't is the consistency of this spot. Always a great time. Just gets way too packed these days.
Very cool, must see/visit lounge if you're in the Wynwood/Downtown Miami area! Can't comment on the food or service, because I went to hear the live entertainment on a Saturday night, and they were packed both inside and on the GINORMOUS beer garden outside. I understand they have live entertainment 7 nights a week. There was no cover charge when I visited, and I sense there wouldn't be on other nights as well. This place has a very European charm to it. It had a really good looking, hip, elegant, primarily young crowd there. From what I could see, the menu was limited to mainly charcuterie cold cuts. You should definitely check it out!!
Very cozy, loved the decor and vibe. There's a refrigerator where you can select cheeses and meats. They will plate it for you beautifully. Great place to have drinks and listen to music! First time visiting and a band called Carlos and the Experience was playing. They were incredible and felt like I walked into an amazing concert going on. There's also a huge patio area to sit out back. Definitely returning!💕
Lagniappe is perfect if you’re looking for a cozy spot with a great selection of wine and live music in Miami. The outdoor patio has a bohemian, relaxed vibe, ideal for spending the evening with friends or on a date. The concept of picking your own wine and building a cheese and charcuterie board makes the experience personal and unique. Plus, the live jazz and blues complete a charming night. Definitely a must-visit if you want to enjoy a laid-back evening with good wine and music.
If you’re looking for a place to take someone on a first date. I think this place is it. Very cozy/inmate setting. Definitely had a great time with my lady here. The wine selection is great however, as you know. You’re always going to pay an inflated price as oppose to total wine. I’d definitely go back! Cheers 🥂
Talk about a vibe. Sup Googler's, I'm back in mid town Miami after 4 years since my last tour came to have a business meeting with good friends talking about the future and what better of a place then here. The crowd itself is itself is so much privacy in such a crowded place. Talk about a successful business House bar and grill. Spectacular they have everything just right I have to give a lot of credit to the outside seating where I was spending my party at with the lights I really enjoyed the vibe. The right civil people are here. Great vibes everywhere. Something I don't say too much about all the reviews I have done around the United States but Il will be back.
I really enjoyed this place. At first I was bummed there was no inside seating available so we had to sit outside which turned out to be nice once we found a table. You may be able hear some of the live music from inside. It's not a good idea to go in a very large group since seating is scarce, so just know that as soon as someone leaves, you will have to hurry to claim their table for your party even if that means cleaning up after the last person. The outdoor lights and trees and nice breeze adds to the ambience of the restaurant, very nice! It looks like the owners took discarded tables and chairs (all in good condition), and placed them which is actually pretty cool; no two tables are alike. If you can get past that, you will have an enjoyable experience! The food was great and hot, and drinks were too, all fairly priced; average plate was about $17. The portions are a nice size, so you can share with one other person, and be satisfied. What you see here is a cheese and olive platter with bread (charcuterie), grilled chicken with sautéed spinach, grilled veggies, and please try the drinks pictured here. The restaurant crews are very nice, helpful, friendly and patient, and can keep up with their fast pace environment. I was thoroughly impressed. Just be patient, and know that the place is usually very packed, so you may have to scoot your chair in every now and then to allow other guests to squeeze through as they move about. So take a good group of friends with you or just you and your sweetie, and have fun, and take lots of pictures.
This is hands down my favorite place to have wine in all of Miami. When you first enter, you're greeted by a live band that's very good and perfect for the atmosphere. Then you get to choose your wine, not the largest selection, but it is very eclectic. Then you choose your meats and cheeses which are high quality. You pay for everything, they open your wine and send your food to the back to be placed in a charcuterie. The prices are more than affordable for Miami, in fact it's a great value. I also love the garden bar feel. Awesome place!!!!
The ambiance was sophisticated yet cozy, creating the perfect setting for wine enthusiasts. The extensive selection of wines, both local and international, catered to various palates. The knowledgeable staff offered expert recommendations, enhancing the tasting experience. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or a casual wine lover, this bar's diverse offerings and elegant atmosphere make it a top choice for a refined and enjoyable evening. One of my favorite places for a perfect Friday night in Miami!
Make sure to pick some cheese and meat and pay the $5 to have them plate it with bread, olives, and fig jam. They provide gluttonous amounts of jam and bread. This place had great live music, absolutely packed with exotic people everywhere, incredible wine and beer selection (the beer bar is in the back yard), unique art and furniture, unique setup, caring and motivated staff. If you want to endulge on bread and wine and people watch, this is the place. People of every age and walk of life were in attendance.
Very nice lounge/bar type of place. Great music and food. Loved an approach of picking your own cheeses from the freezer and have them cut it and serve on the plate. Also, great selection of wines that you get to select of shelves and it serve by the glass or a bottle. Very friendly environment …the whole place reminds me of east village in Manhattan, NY. Highly recommend.
It's one of the coolest spots I've been. And it is so chill that we keep going back in. The team is awesome and cordial and inviting. Pretty cool drink options and their finger platters are exactly what you need. Make sure you arrive on time. Cause it gets super litty, and you will be standing up for a while. Enjoy. Cause I know I did.
Places I love! Cozy and comfortable wine bar with live music, self serve charcuterie for the indoor seating and live music with order up service in a comfortable backyard setting complete with tropical trees and patio type seating. Lagniappe- a Cajun French word meaning a little extra; here at this homey wine/jazz bar you get a lot extra. Just don’t expect to be seated, nor served your food - it’s all a laid back system of self-serve with a lively atmosphere and great music. Good food from the kitchen too and a wide self serve beer selection all give this restaurant a vibe that makes you come back for more. I just wanted to sit here and take it all in. Love it. Even the cool artsy mailbox outside. I had a simple bratwurst sandwich that was really gourmet delicious.
Incredible place to listen to good Jazz and with its important variety of wines and delicatessens of cheeses and sausages they make the atmosphere very pleasant. We were lucky enough to listen to Jorge Glen playing jazz with his cuatro and it was one of the best shows we have seen. My thanks to that excellent jazz group and to Jorge Glen.
One of the coolest places in Miami very low-key relaxed great garden amazing service great selection of cheeses and meat and they even have dinner options like steak and fries at the bar. D at the front desk has great knowledge on wine selection and very hospitable. Highly recommended
Stopped by Lagniappe for a casual glass of wine and somehow ended up having one of those perfect nights Fantastic wine selection (dangerously easy to keep refilling), excellent charcuterie board options, and then—boom—live music kicks in and just seals the deal. The vibe is relaxed, a little magical, and exactly the kind of place where time accidentally disappears. Great wine, great food, great music… honestly, it’s the kind of spot that makes you say, “Yeah, this was a good decision.” Will absolutely be back.
I spent an evening at Lagniappe and it quickly became one of my favorite relaxed spots in Miami. The place has a charming backyard vibe with string lights, wooden tables, and lots of greenery, making it feel cozy and welcoming. What makes Lagniappe special is its casual wine bar concept. You can pick a bottle of wine from their large selection inside, then pair it with cheeses, charcuterie, or simple bites. Everything feels very laid-back and self-serve, which adds to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. Another highlight is the live music, usually jazz or acoustic sets, which creates a warm and intimate mood in the outdoor garden area. Sitting there with a glass of wine while listening to music under the lights feels very “old Miami” and authentic. Overall, Lagniappe is not a fancy place, but that’s exactly its charm. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends, enjoy good wine, and spend a cozy evening in a unique Miami setting
Lagniappe offers an experience with a lively atmosphere, live music, and a unique concept that makes the evening feel relaxed and fun. The staff truly stand out for being friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about the wine selections and recommended a fantastic option for our party. He remained professional, calm, and genuinely friendly even though the place was packed and he was extremely busy but he made the experience even more enjoyable. Javi also went above and beyond by helping us secure a table with five chairs, making us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality, keep up the great work!
100/10 for vibes, great wine and great ambience. Hard to get a table on weekends but if you come early should be easier. I will say I did feel slightly weird vibes from the lady at the counter because she would only give me one glass with the wine I purchased saying it was their rule but when I went back to my table to meet my friend who got wine outside they gave her 4 glasses. What’s that about?…stay consistent if not you’re going to make someone feel discriminated against. Don’t be picky and choosy (I understand it’s alcohol but then make it policy everyone follows)
Went here once and loved it so much I returned again in a short Miami trip. Great place to pick out your own meats and cheeses (reasonably priced) and split a bottle of wine. For $5, your charcuterie is plated and cut with bread and olives and jam. Impeccable vibe. Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to Jay who helped me charge my phone when it was completely dead and saved my night. He, and all the staff, were genuinely so kind.
This is not a restaurant nor a bar. But you will have a great time. They have a fridge where you can pick different cheeses and cold cuts, and some hot fun like churrasco and chicken. But the atmosphere is the best. Just find a place to seat and enjoy.
Lagniappe is one of the most charming spots in Miami. It certainly feels like you’ve stepped out of the city and into a cozy New Orleans backyard. I love the concept of picking out your own bottle of wine and building a custom charcuterie board from the fridge—it makes the night feel so personal. Sitting outside under the string lights with live jazz playing in the background is the perfect atmosphere for a date or a long catch-up with friends. It gets crowded on weekends, so get there early to snag one of the mismatched vintage couches!" The "Music & Atmosphere is really upbeat and the focus here is the jazz & energy. "If you’re tired of the same old typical 'ultra-loud' Miami club scene, Lagniappe is a breath of fresh air you need to unwind. The live jazz every night is top-tier, and the indoor parlor has such an authentic, soulful energy. We spent the night sharing a bottle of wine and some incredible grilled churrasco from the outdoor station. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and full of character. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear your friends talk while still enjoying a great live performance." I consider this place a five star for the best wine garden in the city! The self-service style is great—you grab your wine and cheese, they plate it beautifully for you with bread and jam, and you head to the massive outdoor patio. Pro tip: If you go on a Friday or Saturday, arrive before 8:00 PM if you want a table, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a table/ seat. Excellent wine selection at very fair prices for the area!"
Cool Neighborhood spot. Staff is friendly , and often they have live music. Beverage prices are fair and the place is packed most of the time especially towards mid / late of the week. No dress code and beer garden vibes. A nice contrast to the boogie rest of the city
Although it was difficult to find seating at first, it kind of adds to the vibe lol. We got lucky and met some amazing new friends—an experience that is probably “by design” from whoever came up with this model. Service was really fast, especially considering how packed it was, and very personal too. Gabby Alex, thank you so much! Your people skills are outstanding—you deserve the world. Great selection of wines, cheeses, prosciuttos, people, and chairs. Reasonably priced. We had a great date and we’ll be coming back. The -1 star is because smokers are everywhere. It is a pretty open, ventilated space, but they could have their own little area instead of ruining it for everyone else.
Lagniappe offers a truly unique wine and dine model unlike anything I've encountered before. There are no traditional waiters; the service is an efficient 'grab and pay' system for everything. We started with an amazing selection of artisan cheeses and charcuterie, followed by exploring their infinite wine selection. That evening, a live jazz band set the mood in the cozy upstairs loft/lounge. Outside, hundreds of people enjoyed the great atmosphere—it felt like a lively, yet intimate, gathering in a friend's garden. It’s a wonderful spot
Really nice atmosphere. Very laid back and relaxed. Friendly and helpful staff. So pressure environment from staff and patrons. I do strongly suggest this establishment start recycling bottles though. While I was there the servers throw empty bottles into the trash and not a recycling bag or bin. I think this definitely needs to be improved.
Great selection of wine and craft beer. Options to make your own charcuterie board with a great selection of cheeses and meats. Love the casual vibe and live music. I prefer it on a weeknight as the weekends attract a younger crowd.
This such a vibe. Real food single menu and plenty of people to mingle and watch. Lounge patio vubes and plenty of wine and cheese to keep you occupied. Inside there's a love band nice and cozy eclectic decor. Dim lights all around and ovwr all a great place to enjoy a late night dinner. I'd definitely recommend the steak. I personally would like more bread and maybe a dabble of jam on my plate but that's my only complaint. Or maybe just a basket of bread as we wait for the meal would be nice for the price. Oh and real silver wear would help to cut the steak!
So this is a wine restaurant; interesting concept. Pick your wine, build your own charcuterie board. Self service with paper plates, plastic ware. Wine glasses are real. Some draft options for beer. Very limited menu that you can order from steak, salmon, chicken. Seating is first come, first serve most outside. Lice music at 9p. If you like people watching this is the place.
It's catch 22. The place is gorgeous. You walk in wall to wall art. Live music inside. Walk to the patio. Gorgeous decor. Upscale atmosphere. However it's a self service. You have to pick your products for eating charcuterie style. Wines are super expensive. The Chilean wine Merlot was $38 . Then you give the food to them and they cut it out for you add bread and fig spread for $5.00 additional to whatever you spending and I want to say everything is served back to you. For my friend and I my receipt was close to $85. It's in the heart of Wynwood. And it's a once in a while experience.
Lindo bar de vinos en Wynwood con un ambiente relajado y un patio exterior espectacular lleno de plantas. Algunos días tocan bandas en vivo en la parte de adentro.
Sometimes, when I sit down to write a three - or four star review, I feel guilty and find a way to give it more credit than it merits, I find the "good" as best as I can. Maybe there was care and some hard work from a new owner that poured their heart on their new business, and I was able to feel it. And sometimes I don't feel like three stars are wrong or bad, especially when that's really what the experience earned. Lagniappe is the kind of trendy place that everyone wants to go to on any given night. This was this past Monday, and I went there to celebrate a friend's bday, and it was my first time. The one cordial employee who was kind and welcoming was the gentleman working the bar inside. I asked a group of servers as I got outside if they knew where my party might be sitting, and the response was, "Look around and find em" I get it now and understand that I shouldn't have expected anything else. Lagniappe is a wine and beer bar that, based on the setup I saw as I walked in, also provides live music entertainment. The outside area is just beautiful, a combination of "secret garden" meets "urban city." The train catching my eye every time it passed made it feel like I was in a somewhere else and not Miami. Hanging lights everywhere help set up the perfect picture. And, of course of it was littered with beautiful people that kept coming in as it got later and later. It felt like it was the place where everyone wanted to be. And even though I may not be one of those people, I gotta give it to them. They are doing something right if they can bring in the crowd they are bringing on a Monday night.
Como sitio de jazz casi ni cuenta. Pocas mesas. No es buena la acústica. El negocio es la terraza y música actual. La terraza esta bien por ser espaciosa. Todo muy venido a menos. La comida es muy mala. Esperas demasiado. Y el servicio casi inexistente. El negocio es tú prescencia. Musicalmente icalificable
My friends and I have been coming to this place for years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, but our experience last night was honestly degrading and dehumanizing There were eight of us in our group. As usual, we waited patiently for a table, sat down, and bought two bottles with plans to also order a charcuterie board, just like we always do. Over the years, we’ve spent hundreds of dollars here and have always supported this business. A little later, one of our friends showed up with a small package of cold capicola ham he had picked up from a supermarket. He just wanted to share something he liked with us, and it even fit the vibe of the place. Out of nowhere, a man with a mustache, wearing a hat and a t-shirt, came over and started yelling at us to stop what we were doing and leave immediately. Based on how casually he was dressed, we didn’t even realize he worked there at first. He accused us of being thieves and “stealing from the business” for bringing outside food. He made it sound like we had brought in an entire feast, when it was literally just a small pack of sliced meat that one person had brought to share. Our friend immediately apologized, took full responsibility, and even offered to leave so the rest of us could stay. Instead of accepting that, the man kept raising his voice, refusing to listen, and insisting that our entire group leave. His passive-aggressive attitude was extremely concerning and honestly a little scary. The whole situation felt way too hostile for such a small mistake. We completely understand that outside food isn’t allowed, but this could have easily been handled with a polite reminder or warning. Instead, we were yelled at and humiliated in front of other guests. When we calmly asked if we could at least finish the bottle we had just paid for, he refused and made us leave, wasting money on something we never got to enjoy. The way this was handled was completely unnecessary and demeaning. We made a small mistake, but the reaction we received was extreme and unprofessional. It’s really disappointing to be treated like that after being loyal customers for so long.
