We had a good breakfast at the Starlite which is also a hotel. There weren't many people dining even when we left around 11am. For the amount of reviews, we had higher hopes for the food and it was good but not great. They also gave us a free Pina colada to split and recommended writing a review so here it is!

Excellent place to have a breakfast! I've had the champions breakfast and it was great! Would prefer to have a separate plate for pancakes and a ketchup bottle but nonetheless it was a great experience. Lovely and friendly staff. Outside view beautiful as well since this is located in the Ocean drive.

Beautifully located on the South Miami beach restaurant strip. Burger perfectly seasoned with option of making it a bowl with no bun. Delicious 😋. Can’t say enough about the freshly cooked perfect curly fries. The Mojito was perfection and sauce on focaccia bread amazing. Chef and staff were very friendly and attentive. Honestly this place is really cute and really convenient. Music is really giving me good vibes and the food is truly freshly cooked and delicious. And our server Lisa she’s very delightful had so many laughs in the little time i spent before I toured more of South Beach Miami. Definitely coming back here! Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. The place was really good. The happy hour deal was a nice surprise as for $22 my wife and I had a large mojito and a large piña colada. The Cuban sandwich was really big and delicious. The service from Soledad was awesome. And the view. Right on Ocean Drive is the cherry on the cake. I really recommend this place.

When you want to suck on something this is the place to go! The Hookah was one of the better ones in Miami Beach. They have Al Fakher tabaco which is better than the other cheap stuff at other hookah bars. The chicken fingers were also incredible! Made fresh to order and did not disappoint. It’s a little expensive because of the location but 5/5 would return again.

This place is amazing. Tim the manger is so attentive to the customers. My mango margarita was perfect and the food was fresh and delicious. The hookah prices were soooo reasonable for South beach, the flavor was on point and even with a coal refill it wasn’t burnt. It’s right on the strip so you can people watch from the sidewalk and the street. 10 stars!!!

The drinks were ok I actually had to ask the manager not the mix up half my drink and throw the rest out… drinks are not cheap a small cup will run you with mandatory 20% service charge $22.00 while a large up to $55. While I was walking around Miami Beach, I felt so thirsty. I found the Starlite Cafe with excellent special frozen cocktails recommended by Rocio in a very kindly way. I tried one and then another and another, If you do not try you will never know how goos they are. Recommendend if you want to refresh your self in hot sunny days. As well they entertain us with special fish appetizers really tasty and fresh.

We came here on our honeymoon because they had a really great deal on Paella for 2 (2 for $40) and that was cheaper than any other restaurant nearby. It was good but the cheesecake we got was amazing. They gave us free champagne because we just got married. Really nice place!

We were walking by & Lucila was so friendly & told us to sit & she would take care of us. She was smiling the whole time, which was a breath of fresh air. We got drinks & my 15 yr old son got a Gelato which he said was the best he's ever tasted. My drink, a mango mojito, was a little bitter & the mint was a little overpowering because they used a little too much, but when I asked Lucia to put more mango flavor to add more sweetness to it, she didn't give me a hard time at all. It was such a pleasant experience because Lucila was an amazing server & did her job with a beautiful smile on her face the whole time!

Me and my friend has the absolute pleasure of being served by Augustin! He was so polite and didn’t make us wait too long for our food and drinks like some of the other local businesses. It’s also the most affordable restaurant I’ve seen during my entire trip here. I totally recommend going and if Augustin if your server you will not be disappointed!

A piece of Latin American culture right in the hot spot of Miami. Stumbled upon this lively but quiet place on Ocean Drive, and it's surprising how it was not so crowded. This place has great cocktails and seafood, made and presented with care and finesse. You can see the ocean from your seat, while you listen to lovely music and savor your food. Our server Soledad was particularly friendly, caring and helpful. 😇

Not sure how this place has such good reviews for being a brunch spot. Looks like it must be under new management considering the menu is completely different from what is shown in previous reviews. Food is served in paper baskets with plastic utensils. The prices have gone up. Omelette was mediocre with American cheese (not even real cheese). There wasn’t even butter for the toast. Shocked that this place charges relatively the same price as others on the beach blvd yet the service is way less. For a $25 breakfast, it was nothing special and wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again.

Don’t bother coming for breakfast Avocado toast advertised as smashed avocado on home made toast. Actually was Costco style Avocado paste on some sort of sliced bread from the supermarket. omelette okay, filled will the finest sliced american cheese the chef carefully unwrapped from plastic. crappy plastic plates and plastic forks and knives. coffee lids don’t fit, leaked all over my shirt and pants. waiters seemed unconcerned Welcome to Miami Beach

I showed up here with family of 8 after looking at so many 5 star reviews. The location is great because it’s on Ocean drive. And outdoor seating makes it so great to enjoy the view and cool breeze. However the service is bad and not scalable. Just two women taking orders as well as making beverages and heating pastries. Breakfast entrees cost $15 which is not too bad but given the portion size and quality of cutlery and plates, the cost is actually quite high. We spent ~ $200 but were not satiated. I am not sure how this cafe got 1000s of 5 star reviews. Management should pay attention.

I rarely ever leave negative review but I Ate here today had the breakfast sandwich is was absolutely terrible, the first one they bought out the bun was hard and stale, the second one they bought out the bun was still stale, when I would bite into it it would just crumble into pieces, the onions and pickles on the burger didn were not fresh, the sweet potatoe fries tasted like they have been refried or old. Not sure if they are trying to use up old food but it was a very poor experience I didn’t finish my burger … would not recommend, this food wasn’t servable. Wasn’t taken off the bill either. I just paid for it but… but absolutely not worth it. Please improve the quality of food

Most overpriced, low quality restaurant in South Beach. The breakfast offerings are misrepresented in the photos. I had the omelet expecting eggs as in the photo that they advertise, but no. All is served is cardboard boxes with take-out silverware. Like all the joints in South Beach, everyone is super nice to get you to sit, but once you sit, they forget you.
