Opinions de Thai House II Restaurant Miami
For fantastic food, ambiance and service this is one of my favorite places to go to. First if you decide to eat in, you shall notice the detailed extravagant wood work from the moment you are about to step inside starting from the front doors, to the walls, furniture etc. And it is spacious. Second, everyone is totally friendly and the service is great. You are received with smiles. I have been coming here for years and when I am in the mood not to cook or wanting Thai food or sushi, I come here. The food has great taste and it is fresh always and they are consistent in their quality. The sushi are of great size.
August, 2023. I've been to this place few times, each of them excellent food and service. Rolls are extraordinary, Red curry 5 stars, Pad Thai delicious and prices are fair, I would say even cheaper than many inferior quality places in this area. I fully recommend this place. I don't understand why some reviewers give them 1 star, this is not the case and far from fair. After being a few times I found consistency in quality and good service.
I loved my 1st visit, 7pm on a Wed, quite Thai ambience with dim lighting and soft music. Perfect for DATE NIGHT. Full wine/liquor/beer/sake 🍶 bar and fresh raw sushi bar. My waiters name was Nu, he really “Nu” the menu 🍱 I had the American Beauty Roll 🍣 It’s off the menu but the Sushi Chef Mo made it per request, Fresh Tuna and avocado 🥑 was so delicious (see pics) The Shrimp spring rolls were fresh crispy & tasty with the sweet sauce. Count me as a regular
Had a great dinner with my wife last week. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was great! I had the fried shrimp and veggies with a side of miso soup, very tasty! I highly recommend if you are in the area and are in the mood for Thai food.
Some of the best Pan-Asian food I have had in awhile. Both Japanese and Thai menu items were very tasty and cooked exactly how you want it done in terms of spice. The teriyaki was fantastic as well I had to bring some extra sauce home! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated.
This restaurant has been known and visited by us for 25 years. It's always delicious here and we love it. We just liked the atmosphere before the interior design was rebuilt, when there were tables on the floor and we took off our shoes and sat on cushions, putting our feet in the recesses in the floor. We enjoy enjoying delicious food or ordering from there to home.
The first word that comes to mind is WOW! The service was outstanding, and the experience was made even better by the incredible food and atmosphere. To truly savor it all, I believe great company is a must. On this particular evening, I had the pleasure of being joined by my brothers from MRD. Now, about the restaurant—let me just say, the food was exceptional! The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious, and the fried fish quickly became the star of the night, sparking lively conversations at the table. If you haven’t visited this place yet, it’s time to try something new! Check it out, enjoy, and may God also be your company on your day or night.
⸻ 🌟 5-Star Review for Thai House 2 🌟 If you’re craving authentic Thai flavor with unforgettable energy, Thai House 2 is a hidden gem that absolutely delivers. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported — the vibrant atmosphere, warm hospitality, and rich aromas truly made it feel like I was dining in Thailand. Let’s talk food: The fried rice is out of this world — perfectly seasoned, with a savory depth that had me savoring every bite. But the real star appetizer? The Thai shrimp rolls. Crispy on the outside, bursting with flavor on the inside — they’re a must-try, no exceptions. And the red curry? Easily the best in Florida. The balance of spice, creaminess, and bold Thai herbs is perfection. You can taste the care and authenticity in every spoonful. Thai House 2 isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Whether you’re a Thai food lover or just exploring, this place will win you over in one visit. I can’t wait to go back!
We were a party of 12 people and got seated immediately, no wait. The food was amazing! Sushi was perfect, and service was great!
We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, and we love it. The lunch specials are not only very affordable, but you get plenty of delicious food. We also always order the fried wonton and fresh rolls. 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Restaurant offers a unique experience with the different types of decoration and designs, the service is outstanding, the food was awesome my wife and I enjoyed the sushi rolls Sakura, dragon rolls, and volcano rolls. We try the Panang curry duck even my 8 year old daughter enjoyed it was delicious, also the chicken and shrimp coconut soup was delicious, the prices are very affordable, was very surprised. Manager Kim was very nice and polite. OVER ALL BEST FOOD I HAD FOR FATHER'S DAY IN A LONG TIME, I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. THANK YOU 😊
Great food, great service! Pineapple fried rice was delicious! My husband had stir fried veggies in a ginger sauce. He loved it! Easily makes 2 meals.
Best service ever. Vegan and GF options available!
Best Thai in the area !! James top tier service thank you my friend
I’m not going to go on and on here. If you love Thai meals, just come here. The price doesn’t scream, “we want to gut you and clean you out”; rather, it is fair. Also, the food portions were a little more than I could finish in one sitting. Finally, the curry we had was simply unreal. Noel was our server, and his suggestions were on point, and he went above beyond in his courteousness.
If you’re looking for a go to spot where you know you will get great Thai food I recommend this place. I have now eaten there 4 times. 3 dine in and 1 take out and the quality does not change. The sushi is fresh and fair priced the rolls are big which makes you feel like you’re getting your moneys worth. For me the curry’s are amazing perfect seasonings and spice everytime! We have yet to encounter bad service everyone is nice and you will always be greeted with a smile! We will be back soon!
Curry chicken mild is to die for. Super delicious
Nice place, good food and good service, very affordable with plenty of parking
I didn't know this place was here until recently and my wife and I love it. I got the spicy chicken and the curry chicken and the Thai iced tea and everything was amazing. I highly recommend this place to friends and family. If you like Thai food, this is the spot to be.
It feels like a little corner of Bangkok in this spacious eatery in North Miami Beach at one end of !63rd St., an avenue in the Miami area famous for all kinds of Asian food. Four of us had dinner catching up with each other and appreciated the low volume of the music here. But the food is the real draw, authentic and sometimes downright special. The shrimp tempura lobster dish arrives with the tail in a martini glass -- a fun presentation for a fancy dish. We also enjoyed a delicious Crispy Noodles appetizer (generous portion) and the Pad Kee Mow Chicken. A fun offering is a sake sampler, a flight of 3 different sakes for $12. We also admired the authentic decor, with some astounding wood carving. All in all, a delightful iplace.
Absolutely love this place! My mom and I go once every two weeks. She gets the beef red curry and LOVES it and I try a new plate each time and have not regret it. We also Uber Eats from here and food always arrives in great condition.
Been coming here for many years this place is consistently amazing. Friendly great staff and delicious food. Hidden gem for sure
BRING BACK THE BEEF SATAY! I've been going there since i was 5 years old.. it was my favorite place.. Brought my son there and its his favorite place.. we always order the BEEF SATAY (family tradition).... called yesterday and they REMOVED it from the menu... PUT IT BACK!!!
I recently dined solo at Thai House 2, and it was a fantastic experience! As a newcomer to the area and a big fan of Thai food, I was thrilled to find a place that served dishes I genuinely enjoy. I had the Thai iced coffee, wonton soup, and curry with white rice—all of which were absolutely delicious, and I had plenty to take home. The service was excellent; the waiter was attentive, refilling my water frequently and ensuring I had everything I needed. He even offered to pack my leftovers and included extra rice for my curry, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, I highly recommend Thai House 2 and will definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu!"
The food here is magnificent! We got the short rib massaman curry which was the star of the show. The ribs fell off the bone and the curry was so flavorful. We also got the fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and pork: very tasty. And the pad Thai with shrimp and pork. If you like pad Thai you will enjoy this. The wait staff was very attentive and the atmosphere is lovely. We will definitely return in the future.
Outstanding thai food...consistently great! Service is also attentive and friendly. Love this place!!
This is legit Thai! They only use white meat for their chicken so no fatty meat which is awesome. The fried rice had an option of brown and had great flavor. The fried chicken wontons were delicious. If someone rated this place a 1 they must have removed their tongue before eating or they frequent Applebee's. Definitely will be back.
I placed an in person to go order and despite there being a storm surge that knocked the power out, they quickly completed my order and the pineapple fried rice, rangoons and spring rolls I ordered were delicious! The staff was very hospitable too. Definitely would return here to dine in.
Came in as a walk-in with my boyfriend. Very friendly service and no wait. We ordered the Thai fries and spring rolls with sauce as an appetizer then the Spicy Green and Red curry with 🍚. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. He also took a polaroid of the both of us! Overall would definitely come back to dine in or take out!
I love Thai food because it can be extremely spicy- “Thai Hot!” At Thai House II, it took several visit before the same waiter was able to convince the cook to make my preferred “Pad Kra-Prao Gai” more than “Thai Hot,” and it was! This kept me coming back for more! The food at Thai House II is very good, from the soups and appetizers, to the main entrees and deserts! Everything I’ve ever selected turned out to be just as good, if not better, than the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in other major cities. I recommend Thai House II since you can never go wrong. The food is excellent, service is excellent, bathrooms are clean, parking is more than sufficient. Thanks again Thai House II. See you again soon!
We had the steamed pork dumplings, Boston roll, California roll and stir fried chicken with vegetable medley. All of our food was great! Our server was friendly and patient with us as we took our time trying to figure out what to order.
Excellent food and even better service. Been going here for over 20 years. By far the best Thai food I have ever had.
Food is delicious!!! The fried rice is one of the best I’ve had besides the authentic Thai one. The shrimp pad tai was also out of this world. I don’t recommend you order wine. My Rose was not good at all but that might be my fault for ordering it at a Thai place.. the service was quick and good. Overall my new fave Thai spot
Thai House II offers a unique dining experience surrounded by captivating artwork. Our meal was enjoyed at a intricately carved wooden table, adding to the charm of the ambiance. The standout dishes included the exceptional pad thai and delectable vegetable spring rolls. Overall, a visit to Thai House II promises both visual and culinary delights.
Been many times and they never fail to deliver a great meal. Today I was there for lunch and decided on a combination special as did my friend. I had Pad Thai with Sushi and he had Chicken Curry with Sushi. Both were delicious! The sushi was especially well prepared with the fish being buttery smooth. The Pad Thai, as expected, was also excellent. If you're in North Miami (or even across town) and want great Thai, this is your place!
The lunch specials are a great deal!! And for the price the food still tastes so fresh. Great attentive service. Couldn’t ask for a better lunch. We were out in abt 45 mins
thai house 2 is the bestttt thai you will find in the area. the food is always so fresh & delicious. the employees are so kind & attentive. ive been going here since i was sa kid and it never fails! cant wait to come back again and again and again. also takeout is always quick and reliable. well packaged & amazing portions!
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was great. We had the Green Curry Chicken, Volcano roll, Fresh Rolls, Shumai, Pad Kee Mao Noodles and Thai Donuts. All were really well prepared and came to our table quickly. Will definitely go back and try on items on the menu.
The ambience and service is very good. Our server was polite and gave us some good recommendations since we were vegetarians. The food was great, but was slightly too much on the sweeter side which brings down the flavor a lot. I ordered the panang curry vegetarian with white rice.
The food is good. The flavors are there! We have been twice BUT, I have to tell you guys we did get a little sick the last time we were there. We had Tom Ka, Pad Thai, & sushi... Not sure what we got sick from so just eat with caution. The service is okay but they are forgetful. The bathroom is clean. We will be giving this place a rest for a while though.
Great place and service. The food needs a little work to have a more flavorful experience. Overall was a great experience, just think that Thai cuisine has a wider range of flavors.
The food here was pretty good. We got the shrimp shumai which was outstanding. And then we got pad Thai with shrimp which was more than competent. The interior looked really cool with hand carved wood doors and stuff so I would say the atmosphere was really good. We actually got our stuff to go. I don't think you can go wrong with this place. I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could. It was good but just didn't quite make five stars for me.
The food here tastes great, but the service is not so good. Our server didn't bother to check on us the entire time but yet expected us to tip him.
Took my fiance and her son there for his belated birthday. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We always enjoy going there and we will continue to come back in the future.
The food and service are good. They have a lot of options to choose from. Would eat here again.
Just riding in the neighborhood, and we came across the Thai House. We stopped in to see what the food was about and to try another Thai restaurant. We tried the chicken & shrimp dumplings, shrimp spring rolls, and the Pad Thai chicken & shrimp. The food was delicious 10/10😁
The restaurant had a nice ambiance, filled with cultural themed artwork throughout it. The staff was fully attentive, observant, and friendly. The dining tables were nicely separated so you did not feel too close to the next table. There was a steady flow of diverse customers flowing in. The menu provides a variety of offerings and beverages also include hot teas and alcohol. I ordered a rice dish. It was good, but, could have been very good with more flavor added, and less gummy. It did not take long for the food to arrive from the kitchen. Overall, it was a good dining experience, and was reasonably priced.
Good staff service, nice decoration, accessible prices and various dishes are enough for 2 people (like the Pad Thai). Would not recommend the dumpling with chicken, pork and shrimp (it just tasted like pork). I’ve had better Pad Thai elsewhere - it just wasn’t memorable and the actual pasta was too soft for my taste. The chicken teriyaki sauce tasted more like honey than teriyaki and it was coarse, not smooth. Is it bad? No. Would I come back again? No.
I got the hot green tea was great. I also got the beef stir fry was going to keep it easy but this is where it all went wrong for me. Beef stir fry showed up with beef over rice…. I asked about this and the waiter told me I have to request the vegetables. In deep thought I can see why this may be a default policy but still very odd. The meat was seasoned nicely.
Been coming here for 20 years. Always excellent food. Just the water is tasting better then anywhere else (I have bought the same filtration system at home). The salmon is very fresh. Pad thai is delicious. Rainbow roll excellent. Service always top notch. UPDATE: the price has been going up but too much. Chicken curry $16.75 or thai house salad $6.95?? Come on...
Tenía mayores expectativas en la calidad y sabor de la comida; un reto a superar.
El restaurant tiene olor a húmedo. Atienden muy bien pero la comida no es muy buena. Ni de sabor ni con la presentación
I got take out today spent $50 on a bunch of food. I am so disappointed. It was below average. For Asian food this is not a good choice. Maybe their thai food is better but don’t waste your time with the sushi, or any of the Asian dishes.
I ordered take-out. I ordered panang chicken, chicken fried rice, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were soft and mushy. We didn't enjoy them. Awful.. They were thrown out. There was hardly any vegetables in the other two dishes. Very dissatisfied with the food for the money paid. I won't be eating from this restaurant again.
Pad thai noodles were super dry and had no sauce on them.. if you look at right side of photo they are just plain noodles.
We have not been ordering from Thai House II for a while. We know they have been in business for many years. However, the quality of foods are not acceptable. Especially their prices are expensive. We ordered the dragon roll, which it has tempura shrimp inside. The shrimp was over fired, which it was hard and not crispy at all. We also ordered the Lad Na, which kind of like Chow Fun chinese noodle. It was not good at all. The sauce was watery and too sweet. The Chinese broccoli was so dry, hard, and not fresh (see picture). I cannot eat it. The Pineapple Fried Rice was okay from the overall order, but there were no pineapple in the fried rice. Our overall experience was disappointed and will not order again. We gave them a 2.0 out of 10 🤦🏻♂️
Go anywhere else in Miami. The coconut curry soup was full of oil because reheated. I spoke to the manager, cousin of the owner, he told me I was complaining too much about the soup. Also ordered tuna lobster roll the tuna was shredded and the lobster in was so small you couldn’t find it.
Food was good staff was racist and made comments about me and my girl only ordering lunch style portions. They stared and laugh while we ate. Like not our fault u make 11.00 an hour. So if u want lunch or a person of color don't bother. Other wise food actually is good. Oooo yeah they also refused to make a drink I ordered. Peace
Visiting from out of state and decided to try pad thai with beef. The beef was leather. There were 6 small pieces of beef in the entire meal. The taste was off and very oily. I ordered on uber eats and it was prepared fast and delivered quickly. There were no utensils included. It was the worst Thai food I have ever had and I didn't even eat half of it. Only plus was that it came with white rice that I did eat and was cooked well. Would not recommend.
The worst pad Thai I’ve ever tried. Half of the noodles was burned (and I mean not only taste-like, but color-like too), it’s all covered with black dots of ash, very fatty, not sure if they add any sauce, but if they did you can’t taste it at all. Absolutely disgusting! Impossible to eat! Spring rolls also contain mostly dough, you can barely see and taste any veggies. And in addition they are also too fatty. So if you’re a fan of a crazy oily dough, that causes you stomachache then you might enjoy it. The only decent thing in our order was a miso soup (which is impossible to ruin). And again, it wasn’t good, it was decent. Highly unsatisfied. Would not recommend! The food there doesn’t cost a penny. And for their price you expect it to be at least decent, not totally burnt and fatty based!
Hi, I wanted to share some feedback about my recent takeout order. I ordered pineapple fried rice and pad thai but asked for them to be vegetarian — the meat was removed. I was surprised to see an extra charge of about $8 added for making them vegetarian, as no one mentioned there would be an upcharge for removing ingredients. I also ordered a papaya salad, but the container was mostly filled with iceberg lettuce and only a small portion of papaya salad. Overall, the food quality and transparency about pricing were disappointing. I wanted to let you know because I’ve enjoyed Thai food often, but this experience has made me hesitant to order again here.
