We decided to try a new place for lunch and what a nice lunch it was. We were sat in a cute little window table. Started with a pear Martini and lobster bisque. The Lobster bisque was a delight and a experience on its own own. We had the shrimp dejohn and the salmon. They were both delicious. Couldn’t recommend this cute little place more.

Solid food and service. Been to Farina’s next door and food and service is very similar. Bar staff was attentive with professional drinks. Had appetizers. Good mussels and prawns. Good bread and red sauce. Excellent cozmo.

I'm going to keep this simple. GO HERE! I don't care if you are a food snob from NYC(no shade) this place is not to be missed. Menu: STELLAR Food: DELICIOUS, Ambience: NYC CALIBER, Decor: SLAP YOUR MAMA. There is a level to attention to detail you don't typically find. Do yourself a favor and go!! And the staff: MICHELLE (enough said).

We happened upon Rocco’s randomly and we are so happy we did! Simply, amazing! From the hostess, to the server, to the on-site owner-every single thing was top-notch. We cannot wait to go back.

Food is excellent. Oysters are fresh , coconut shrimp appetizer was outstanding. The shrimp were huge and served with an apricot sauce…. Freshest tomato salad …service outstanding..

Unreal steaks. Great service. A bit loud but not in a bad way. Great spot! Giaedineare Mac and cheese is outa this world.

Great food with a real chicago vibe

Surprised would be an understatement! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The quality of the meat was phenomenal—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Full spread and didn’t hold back. Started with oysters (definitely order the dozen—worth it!). For dinner, the Bone-In Ribeye (Velasco) sided it with mac & cheese, a baked potato, and a wedge salad with ranch—And to top it all off, the carrot cake made it a perfectly “balanced”. Also, the pear martini? Better than Gibsons (IYKYK). We seriously can’t wait to go back. What an incredible surprise!

The service was terrific! The food was excellent! I had the lamb and the rest of the table had the filet. I recommend the Gelato or the chocolate cake for dessert.

My wife and I have been in on many different occasions and we always request Bill or Kayla. The ribs are the best in town and the whole staff is fantastic. We love Cassie at the bar as well. Keep up the great work.Michigan City appreciates you.

Came in and had dinner with my wife last night on a spur of the moment when we realized all of our kids would be out of the house. Our server Kayla was beyond attentive and made excellent recommendations. Food, service and the dark wood bar make you feel like you’re in downtown Chicago. Will be back soon.

My wife and I have been here 3 times now with work associates- and we have yet to be let down! The drinks are great (espresso martinis are 9/10), service is spot on, and every meal we've tried has been amazing!

Pls read!! Food was alright, Steak Fritz is served with thick tomato slices? Got the “Fritz” a little later on. The truffle fries were great!! The prices of their food is a bit crazy to me, $52 for 8oz filet. Complimentary bread isn’t very complimentary, $8…. They never brought out one of our meals so we decided to just cancel that one meal entirely. They also brought out one of the sides to another one of our meals 20 or so mins after the food came out. Luckily they gave us some desert on the house. A bit crammed, pretty loud. But a nice spot nonetheless. We must’ve came in on a special night, a DJ appeared and the party officially started Lol. Still not 100% if this horrible smell was from the food or somewhere else but WOW it smelt like a cow pasture for a while… maybe it was the lamb or oysters next to us 🫠 Overall wasn’t bad, got great service. I don’t think we will be returning though… The whole paying for a bit of bread and just forgetting to bring out a whole meal isn’t for us.

It has all the ingredients but for me it lacked execution especially on the food and drink I received. I’m hoping to revisit and have a better experience as I was hoping for much more here at this price point. The staff was kind and attentive, and the space is beautiful inside.

Very disappointing, was hoping for a quality restaurant in our neighborhood but after three chances and close to $2,000.00 in expenditures ay their establishment I have given up on this store. First time they lost our reservation that was made 20 days in advance because we had out of town guests. They said they had important VIP guest at the booth we reserved, so they say us outside and nobody had the right cloths to be sitting outside in 60 degree weather but we went with it with the understanding that they would move us in when tables opened up. Never happened so our group spent 1,100.00 on a dinner that was not enjoyed due to drizzle and 60 degree temps. They gave us a pice of coconut cake to share with 6 people for the misunderstandings. Last night again we went to give them a shot again with three guests and failures happened again. They were out of mint jelly for the second time my wife wanted the lamb chops the reason we went. So she pivoted and had a nice steak fritz meal and was disappointed but happy. My guest had ordered the special steak stroganoff and enjoyed the meal. Came time to box up the leftovers and the busser gentleman took my guests plate and casserole dish full of leftovers andwe waited for box to come back never came, we asked and Bobby found out kid threw the full plate and casserole away, she was disapointed . My meal came I ordered the ribeye med rare temp was good but it was not good quality meat. I asked my friend to try it and she said "That's really tough for prime steak". I had about 4 bites and gave up on all the silverskin and grissle (Not Fat) in the steak. Took A bite of my loaded bake potato and it was literally ice cold, they microwave my potato and it came back in a soup of liquids and mush. Sorry owners have never been there one time that we were there. If this was a run of the mill steak house We would go back but at around $175.00 per person this is no good.

Despite Bobby doing his best, we waited an hour and a half AFTER our reservation. The air conditioning was broken, and everyone was sweating their rears off. My steak was over cooked. The owners ended up showing up, and did nothing. They could not have cared less. You have been warned.

Beautifully decorated. Drink was blah. Ordered bread as an appetizer and was given what taste like store bought rolls with some melted butter and herbs. Definitely not what you’d expect in a fresh bread basket. 🤢 we didn’t even end up ordering a meal because we were so turned off.

I don't normally leave reviews, good or bad, but I hope this rare review helps more than it hurts. Simply put, the team needs to step it up. Service was atrocious. Everyone has bad nights, and this was one of them. Drink orders took way to long, 20-30 minutes for a beer? Food was hit or miss and for the price point, it was disappointing. I see the potential of this restaurant, and I hope for nothing but the best for visitors to enjoy their time here while supporting local business. Please pull it together as I plan on a 2nd visit. A 3rd visit is in your hands.

We didn’t go to Rocco’s to listen to dance music at full blast. Food was good but server couldn’t hear our orders. Tell the older blonde haired bartender to turn the music down. Seriously learn how to read your customers.

Was going to eat here but it was extremely loud so went to farina Cafe instead. Much better.

Totally overrated.

Wife and I went here with in laws for valentine’s day and it was not a good experience at all. it was SO LOUD in there that it was overstimulating and i couldn’t hear anyone at my table speaking. our food also took forever and wasn’t very good. they did not have menu items available as advertised. we will not be returning.

made a reservation a week or two in advance for valentines day. i have never been prior but i have seen it a few times and decided the food looked worth it based on pictures. i specifically came for the jumbo lobster tail, which is on multiple of their online menus (still at this point is listed). they do not actually have it. could have and should have went somewhere else, the food we all ended up ordering wasn’t very good for the cost. also so small and so so loud inside it was hard to hear anything.

I had made reservations at this place at least a month in advance for Valentine's Day and my birthday, however, as I approached the restaurant and went inside it was clearly a packed house. After waiting at the front for at least 5 minutes to get checked in I realized that there were about 4 other couples waiting to get checked in with no host in sight. Even if I had reservations, I observed that every table was taken and honestly I doubt we'd ever sit at our reserved time. At his point I made the decision to just leave and go elsewhere. Maybe I'll try again in the future since I really was looking forward to try this place on my special day.
