Loved it when it was a buffet years ago. Current owners aren't to friendly. I've shied away. Great wall on south main street would be the best spot for chinese food if i had any recommendations worth the drive.

I got the chicken with mixed vegetables, which is a simple enough dish. While the portion was decent, there was no broccoli. Not one piece. It was just chinese cabbage with a few pieces of carrot and a few snow peas thrown in. I have never in my life had a mixed vegetable dish from a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t come with broccoli. Very bizarre.

The food is good and the service friendly. However the last few visits have been disappointing as yesterday an order of chicken and mixed veggies came with no chicken and the previous visit had a complete mistake between various orders. Giving it one more chance before trying elsewhere.

The food is good in taste and price. I come here regularly, but I can't get over this sketchy guy who is always hanging out and drives a pickup truck with a huge CB radio. With the latest encounter, I will be eating elsewhere.

The best part of the meal was the rice. The spring rolls were pure grease, and the boneless ribs tasted off.

Did not get what I ordered. Ate the rice out of what they gave me. Three slimy slices of chicken were in the chicken chow mein that they sent mostly old onions, tons of carrots and cabbage. The fried noodles that they sent to go with it were so greasy and old they were also inedible.

Always had a good experience until I tried to order food through the website that it took me to and they never made it specific that it was pick up only . Why would I order through a delivery service . And pay 42 dollars for me to not be able to get my food or a refund . will not be coming here again they need to take Yelp and grubhub off of there services If they no longer have those services . I am highly unsatisfied and the place didn’t even try to make an attempt to help me .

Discusting and gross old orange chicken meal. The rice tasted like dish soap was added to it. I ordered chicken teriyaki never made it in the bag. I wouldn't recommend this nasty food for even animal consumption. Total waste of money. Only, gave it one star because I couldn't leave a review w no stars.

Seems like in this restaurant tge cook stretches the ingredients in their recipes. I wonder how they earn an award for best general t'sos chicken when it is so bland. I ordered this combination just because I thought was worth to try an awarded plate in a place I have never been. The rice lacks ingredients. It only has few pieces of pork. The chicken is too crispy for this recipe and the sauce isn't thick and flavorful. I looked on Google before entering this place and I guess I got fooled by the 4.5 stars. Im from out of town and was in a rush. I didnt get to read the reviews so now I got to see I'm not the only disappointed one. At least the place is clean and we were nicely welcomed. Well, never again. By the way, worst general t'sos chicken.😝

The worst Chinese food we have had in Connecticut. Was driving through Middletown and did a quick search "best Chinese food Middletown" and this place came up with a 4.5 star rating so thought we would give it a try. Mind you, a total of 17 reviews and should have realized that is a small amount of reviews. Not sure who reviewed and actually ate at this place but the food is AWFUL as in bland. Reminded me of the take out Chinese in Brooklyn, NY, where most people order fried chicken wings and French fries. Arrived here and person in front of me ordered chicken wings and pork fried rice - should have known and left immediately. Ordered several dishes including the worst general tso chicken we ever had, fried rice that was 99% yellow rice with a couple of pieces of pork, a special that was recommended - chicken and shrimp in special sauce that was supposed to be spicy but had no spice and no taste and one piece of shrimp that was the side of a dime, chicken lo mein which should be renamed tasteless sodium lo mein.... Calling out other reviewers as this place is awful. Maybe they were high where most anything tastes good?! Family of five that will never be back!
