I'm not the easiest person to please when it comes to food, I found the chicken empanadas to be very delicious, I'll be returning for more, and looking forward to try some other things on their menu. From my experience it's definitely La Casita Del Sabor (The Little House of Flavor), many thumbs up. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service was because when I came in no one was at the counter and I had to wait a couple minutes. I took the time to look at the menu.

Food here is all fresh, everything is made in house and it shows. Some of the best guac I've ever had. We got the fajitas for 2 and the steak was tender and freakin delicious, chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and shrimp cooked absolutely perfect. Great spot, great vibes. We'll be back!

Food: Food was great! The mofongo was moist, plenty of chicharrón inside. Flavor was on point. They did not skimp out on portions!! Atmosphere: It was plain. Traditional wooden seats gave it a comfortable and back home feel. They do not serve alcohol but allow you to bring your own. Music was low, making it easy to speak. Service: The young man was polite and ready to serve. Overall: I would return. Price is reasonable based on portions. If portions were small, then I would say no go. But you must try.

Delicious!! Chef's kiss! My family and I were driving home from Mystic CT and ordered take out for the road. The man answering the phone made sure I got everything I wanted. Upon entering to pick up our food, the restaurant was beautiful inside and clean. I love the neon signs. I believe one said "cooking with love" or something along those lines, and I can guarantee you they definitely are "cooking with love". We ordered the tostones and added garlic sauce on the side, 3 chicken empanadas and the birria tacos. The best I had out to eat. The garlic sauce with the tostones and the juicy chicken inside the pillowy empanadas were so so good! The birria tacos had tender, moist beef inside. Most places I've had them the meat is overcooked. Not here! We wish you were closer! Almost 2 hours away from us but we will definitely make a day trip so we can eat your delicious food again! Keep cooking with love because your food is delicious! 😘

Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing that. Holy smokes what great food. Honestly a little blown away. The birria dip was amazing worked well with multiple dishes. The tacos are loaded and perfect for a quick meal. The fried chicken with rice and plantains is simply spectacular. Just gotta give it to this restaurant that they have hands down best Latin food in the area.

In all honesty this food takes me back to my childhood. The food taste just like home. 10 out of 10. If you are a fan of spanish food, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot. Make sure you try the Tres Leche.

It was AMAZING! The inside was beautiful! And the service was so good. I can't even EXPLAIN the food because it was to delicious. 10/10 I definitely recommend La Casita Del Sabor.

Excellent Latin offerings We tried the - fried snapper - shrimp entree - fish filet - Mofongo All very good. The shrimp filet was especially good. This is an excellent addition to Middletown’s culinary offerings. The service is excellent.

First time visiting and everything we got was delicious. Unfortunately our waitress was not friendly at all instead gave us an attitude from the moment we got into the door. Despite that, this place is a great place to visit and I would recommend it anytime.
