I used to come here more often when I went to Wesleyan but at this place the service is always great! I recently came back and forgot my usual order so i tried to pick my own poke bowl. The worker was so patient and they don’t shy away from putting all the ingredients you want! Generous portions and great quality I def reccomend. I got the large with three protein and now they have spam! They also have boba happy hour (: from 3-5pm

The Pokebowls were top notch. Definitely a fairly authentic spot to get Hawaiian Pokebowls. They also have spam masubi and some classic Hawaiian canned juices. Give this place a look. The staff were very friendly as well.

My friend and I met up for dinner at this restaurant. It was her turn to pick and she suggested Pokemoto. I had never had a poke-bowl before, so I figured we might as well try it out. It is kind of like a Subway set up, but for pokebowls. I ordered a make my own poke-bowl, so I got to choose everything that went in the bowl. We had the option of brown rice or sushi rice (I think that is what it was called? It's like white rice, but with some extra seasoning). Then for the protein. Tons of seafood options, so I got the chicken and a dash of tofu (not a big seafood person). I thought about getting the breaded chicken, but they said it would take about 10 minutes to cook and I didn't want to wait that long to eat. My friend did get the breaded chicken and she said it was worth the wait. The other items I added were some edamame, sweet onion, a seaweed option (I forgot the name, but it was the black one), an umami sauce, mango, pineapple, and a couple other things. Then I watched as they tossed it together and placed it on the rice. Lastly, the toppings I ordered were the carrots, wantons, and a bit of ginger. (You can see my friend got the one with the quacamole in the picture attached) It was delicious! I was nervous about my selections, but I don't think I could have gone wrong. The employees did a great job of explaining everything and suggesting some options when I was unsure. I was a little surprised by the price, a little over 18$, but I did get a large bowl and I think if I had gotten some different types of seafood it would have been a bit more worth the price. The door is on the inside of the Main Street Market. The atmosphere is fantastic. The sun shining in on a warm afternoon was a perfect place to sit and catch up with my friend, although it does get hot sitting in the sun for about an hour.

Excellent food, selection, & so fresh!!! Miso soup really is great! & a regular size is enough for dinner & lunch 2moro! Update: poke bowl was awesome again! But i gotta say the japanese battered chicken had been sitting there awhile & it wasnt even warm.

I love this place! We did GrubHub pickup for two hefty poke bowls and were very satisfied. Everything was very fresh, the portion was large and they allow for a lot of different toppings and extras too, which makes it very filling. They had a deal with GH and we had a $10 credit so we paid $15 for two large lunches! Also, the piece de resistance is really the bag that our meal came in. I looked at it just now and realized it was hand drawn and not printed. I love little touches like that and will definitely be ordering from here again.

I recently started working down the road in Portland and I am absolutely obsessed with this wonderful establishment. It takes all I have for me to no want to eat some poke on a daily basis. The ingredients are so fresh, the sauces so flavorful and my Grubhub orders are always on time. Thanks for helping me get through the week Pokemoto!! I love you all.

it’s pretty good. there’s another post about someone getting a small portion size. i didn’t have that problem. I like that they recycle. They have a a high chair yet the music selection had swearing in it and just wasn’t family friendly or that pleasant. Same with one of the staff and their use of language. But the staff was friendly and did a great job with my order.

Great service and food. I’m guessing it was the owner that handled my order because he really knew his stuff. Answered all questions and was very friendly. Fresh, delicious ingredients. Half priced fresh boba tea during happy hour. Excellent convenient location on Main Street. If you like poke bowls then you’re in the right spot. The only thing is the place could use more regular cleaning of their tables and maybe some shades for the windows during the summer.

Good portions are not equal as I got two poke burritos and one came out with a lot of stale white rice and very little protein and the second burrito had half the rice. The ingredients are not fresh at this location. In addition, the bathroom was disgusting with no paper towels or air drier.

DON'T GO HERE, NOT WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! This is actually a long overdue bad review. Officially not going to this place anymore. I kept giving this place the benefit of the doubt because the first 4 or so bowls were pretty good and filled up how they should be. But not anymore. Idk what happened, new management, new employees, idk. All I do know is that the bowls are getting smaller and smaller every time I go. When I get 3 proteins and a bunch of mix ins, my bowl should be filled up pretty well. When I get 3 proteins and a bunch of mix ins, aaand add an extra protein, my bowl should be to the top for sure and maybe even a little over the top level and be mounded into the lid that you use which bows upward as if you're going to fill over the top of the bowl. so this crap I've been getting the past 4-5 visits is absolutely inexcusable, especially for $20+ PER BOWL. tonight i got 4 proteins and the bowl was BARELY half full! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! i won't be returning to this location. time to take my business to the rival on the other side of town. THIS PLACE HAS BECOME A RIP OFF. Edit: I can't respond to the owners reply so I'm editing my initial comment to respond. No I don't need to contact you on your personal line, we can have our conversation here for the public to see how nonsense your business is and how you're trying to cover it up. Why does it matter if I order in person or online? The bowl should be properly filled no matter how someone orders. Nothing was "mixed up", your employees just simply do not give "generous portions", probably because they are instructed to not give too much. And yes my wife did say something about the bowl the last time she picked up our order (which is that bowl I pictured that was 4 protiens but barely half full) and she was told that if she wanted more meat in the bowl she'd have to pay for another protein. So, how exactly are you "known for giving generous portions and often cannot close the bowl" when I literally posted a picture of my 4 PROTEIN BOWL THAT WAS BARELY HALF FULL? Please explain that to me. Maybe I just don't know what "generous portion" and "cannot close the bowl" means. Look at my picture again and tell me that's a generous portion where the bowl can't close. And if you want to tell me it must be an isolated incident, I'd be more than happy to leave another review with all my "generously portioned" 3-4 protien bowls, along with screenshots of the time/date stamps proving they're all different days.
