Una cena di lavoro davvero piacevole. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la cucina: piatti curati, sapori equilibrati e una proposta che racconta l’India in chiave contemporanea con grande eleganza. Il servizio è stato impeccabile per tutta la serata, attento e professionale. Un ringraziamento speciale a Gaetano, che ci ha accolti con grande disponibilità e ci ha fatti sentire subito a nostro agio.
Viaggiando molto ho avuto l'opportunità di testare svariate cucine e giunto a cittamani devo dire che sono stato veramente stupito. Si vede che dietro a ogni piatto c'è un lungo lavoro che parte dalla progettazione alla realizzazione. Tutto ciò che ho assaggiato era buonissimo ma la cosa che mi stupisce di più è come in alcuni piatti si sia cercato di utilizzare qualche ingrediente della cucina italiana, il tutto molto ben riuscito quindi non rimane che fare i complimenti perchè questo aspetto è difficile da trovare, ci sono molte cucine che ti offrono i piatti tradizionali, qui il tradizionale c'è ma c'è anche qualche piatto che vuole avere una sua identità vera e propria. Se siete a Milano lo consiglio vivamente, in più personale molto competente e ben preparato, aspetto non da sottovalutare è che qui tutti ti accolgono con un sorriso. infine il locale è arredato in maniera perfetta, e tutto ciò con un buonissimo profumo al suo interno. P.s. chiederei di svelarmi il vostro segreto per il profumo che avete in sala, perchè veramente era un buonissimo profumo.
Posto sempre incredibile ed eccellente. Posizione eccellente e pochi passi da via Cavour e Montenapoleone, in super centro. Locale raffinato ed elegante ma neanche in modo esagerato, così da potersi cmq sentire a proprio agio. Il cibo è sempre stato eccellente tutte e 3 le volte che ci sono stato, probabilmente non è esattamente tipico indiano ma adattato ai gusti italiani ed in stile "gourmet" ma è indubbiamente eccellente come ricerca degli ingredienti, tecnica e gusto. Consiglio specialmente il branzino. Prezzo in linea con i locali di questo livello. Ottimi tutti i vari naan ma probabilmente preferisco quello al formaggio
Eccezionale!!!!! Che esperienza! Piatti introvabile negli altri ristoranti indiani, esperienze culinarie di qualità da ogni angolo dell’ India. Vale la pena. Situato in Brera. Bella la location tranquilla. Ampia la scelta di vini e alcolici.

Il menu propone piatti ricchi di sapori autentici ma con un tocco contemporaneo, curati nei minimi dettagli. Il servizio è impeccabile: lo staff è attento e preparato. Un’esperienza culinaria che va oltre il semplice pasto: Cittamani è un viaggio nei sapori dell’India con un’eleganza che lo rende unico a Milano. Assolutamente consigliato!
Un’esperienza indimenticabile al Cittamani – 5 stelle! Dopo alcuni viaggi a Milano, Cittamani è stato un ristorante che ho sempre avuto in sospeso, e l’esperienza è stata più di quanto mi aspettassi. L’atmosfera è elegante, curata e con un design unico, che trasmette immediatamente un senso di lusso e raffinatezza. È un luogo dove ogni dettaglio è pensato con cura e l’ambiente trasuda stile. I piatti sono una fusion perfetta di sapori. Ogni portata era non solo equilibrata nel gusto ma anche esteticamente impeccabile, un vero piacere per gli occhi e il palato. La cucina fusion è riuscita a sorprendermi ad ogni boccone, con un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione indiana e modernità. Un ringraziamento speciale va al personale, che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Parlavano anche spagnolo, un gesto che ho davvero apprezzato, anche se parlo l’italiano fluentemente. Questo piccolo tocco di attenzione fa la differenza. Il cocktail fusion preparato dal barman con tequila e cioccolato, mezcal reposado, peperoncino e albume è stato un vero spettacolo per il palato, con un equilibrio perfetto tra dolce e piccante. Un’esperienza unica. Inoltre, il vino siciliano Donnafugata, proveniente dal vulcano Etna, che mi è stato consigliato dopo aver esplorato diverse opzioni, è stato davvero speciale. Un vino che ha saputo completare l’esperienza culinaria, con un gusto unico e un equilibrio perfetto. Un vero capolavoro di ristorante che merita sicuramente un capriccio speciale. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci!

Il servizio è stato impeccabile fin dal nostro arrivo: il personale è stato accogliente, professionale e sempre attento a ogni nostra esigenza, senza mai risultare invadente. Cercavamo un ristorante indiano di livello e lo abbiamo trovato!!! Siamo stati già 3 volte e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Le pietanze sono di livello gourmet e i sapori sono ragionati e molto bilanciati rispetto a qualsiasi altro ristorante indiano a Milano, il menù cambia con un certa frequenza ma in ogni caso si mangia sempre bene. La location è davvero bella e alla sera l'atmosfera è davvero magica con i toni ambrati. Il personale è davvero pacato nei modi e sa consigliare bene. Il mio suggerimento è di condividere le portate per provare più sapori e di provare assolutamente l'agnello.
Apertura con un aperitivo, un Cittamani Sour davvero interessante. Al cibo, alla sua preparazione e impiattamento, ho dato il massimo dei voti e in parte lo dimostro con le foto dei piatti. Ho trovato i piatti bilanciati, con i prodotti base del piatto che esprimono al massimo il loro sapore. I condimenti esaltano i sapori senza coprirli. Il servizio all'altezza delle aspettative e un ottimo accompagnamento alla scelta del vino da parte di Rinzin, responsabile del locale ed esperto in materia. Non è la prima volta che ci vado e non sarà certo l'ultima. Esperienza da provare.

Everything was just perfect, I went a bit late just after the kitchen closed but still. Antonio was kind enough to let us in. The food was absolutely amazing for the fact that they have managed to bring it in Milan is surprisingly good. Waitress Pasang was really kind.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming without trying too hard—comfortable, tasteful, and perfectly tuned for conversation. Service deserves a special mention: genuinely kind, attentive, and gracefully present. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel looked after, not managed. And then there’s the pricing—frankly outperforming expectations. The quality-to-price ratio sits well above market average, delivering outstanding value without compromise. We were a group of couples, gathering for a “different” dinner before the holiday rush, and every single one of us left pleasantly—and honestly—surprised. Five years ago, with the same people, we had already enjoyed a very good experience here. Coming back now, the growth is undeniable: more confidence, more precision, more soul. We’ll be back. And this time, we won’t wait another five years.

One of the top Indian restaurants in Milan, this place never fails to impress with its genuine flavors. I regularly return for their perfectly cooked shrimp tandoori paired with brown rice, and I can't resist their naan — especially the chili cheese naan, which offers a delightful spicy kick balanced beautifully. To round off the meal, I often enjoy a warm cup of masala chai. While it’s not the absolute best I've tasted, it’s still pretty satisfying.
We celebrated Diwali 2025 in the most wonderful way at Cittamani Milano! The service was top-notch and the staff went above and beyond to make our event special. The food? Absolutely divine! Every bite was a flavor explosion. Kudos to the team for their cooperation and warm hospitality - they truly made our Diwali celebration unforgettable! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic Indian fine dine experience.
Lunch at Cittamani was simply amazing.. All the dishes we ordered were tasteful and full of flavors. The non-vegetarian Thali was delicious, we immediately recommended it to guests sitting beside us! We also had grilled chicken, butter chicken and rice all of which was so good. This is the one Indian restaurant you should visit in Milan Italy. It’s not that easy or common to find delicious, authentic and high quality Indian cuisine. It’s 8/10 and a must come back.
We were visiting Milan from Toronto and were on Day 10 in Italy. We were tired of having Italian food and were craving something Indian. Coming from Toronto which has incredible Indian food, we set our expectations low, but boy were we surprised. We LOVED our experience here. The restaurant is very nice for atmosphere and food. We are vegetarian and ordered the paneer Tikka and Aloo Puri dishes, super delicious. The presentation of the food was very nicely done as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. They brought out a complimentary appetizer for us to try as well which was delicious. I would highly recommend CITTAMANI to anyone with a craving for Indian food!
A very cool dinner experience. The manager and our server made excellent beverage and food recommendations to us. We probably spent 3.5 hours at dinner. Not only was the vibe really cool but the food was delicious and it LOOKED beautiful. I’m really glad I found this restaurant on Resy!

We wanted to try this place since it had great reviews and were craving Indian food after being pasta and pizza’d out. The chef delivered for sure! The dal makhani was amazing and perfectly spiced. The chicken tikka nannini was also very nice with the different textures of the nan/roti, arugula, chicken and chutneys. The Kala Mirch Chicken was tender and melted in your mouth. Kudos to the chef!
Probably the best Indian fine dine experience in whole Italy!! Authentic food with real Indian flavors. The manager and chefs were so warm and hospitable, which made the experience even more delightful. We tried veg thali, dal makhni, garlic nan and veg panini. Everything was delicious and reminded us of India :)
A beautifully curated menu that truly represents India - with dishes from all corners of the country, this is not your standard “curry restaurant”. The dishes are beautifully composed and absolutely authentic and delicious! It’s refreshing to finally ne served an offering different from the standard. As a vegetarian it was an extremely fulfilling and we heard the table next to us raving about the meat biryani. Overall a fantastic experience and we recommend this as a gorgeous authentic and unique place for any foodies who want to try good Indian food. Location is on a lovely old square, service is incredibly friendly and we found the decor elegant. We especially recommend the crunchy okra and all the starters / delicious! Wish we had had space for dessert - next time.
Cittamani by Ritu doesn’t need any introduction. She is a celebrity chef and she has a years of experience behind her. We ordered pepper chicken which was tender juicy and rightly grilled. Daal makani & kulcha reminds you off daal bukhara. Good experience. Authentic Indian food.

Ho voluto testare questo ristorante indiano, in chiave gourmet.. e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Ristorante molto tranquillo, con luci soffuse, danno un'atmosfera un po' "chic". I piatti serviti a prima vista potrebbero sembrare dei veri piatti "italiani" impiattati elegantemente, ma all'assaggio in bocca esplodono i veri sapori della cucina indiana, speziata e piccantina al punto giusto. Eravamo in 3 e abbiamo optato per fare un assaggio di 4 antipasti, in modo da assaggiare un po' di tutto, e 3 piatti principali.. Tra i piatti scelti non potrò dimenticare i bocconcini di pollo marinati nello yogurt e cotti nel tandoori.. la marinatura ha reso il pollo super tenero e la cottura nel tandoori ha esaltato quel gusto un po' affumicato che l'ha reso un piatto davvero squisito. Locale approvato!
Siamo stati a cena in due. Locale tranquillo, pulito e grande che non dà l’impressione di entrare in un ristorante indiano. Personale gentile e disponibile. I piatti sono ben presentati come impiattamento e con i sapori indiani riconoscibili . È un indiano milanesizzato di qualità e prezzo. Secondo me è molto caro, in due, con due portate a testa, niente dolce e un calice di vino abbiamo speso 160€ circa. Personalmente non ci tornerò, non è il mio genere di indiano.
The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The thali itself was tasty and well-prepared, but unfortunately it was served a bit cold. Overall, it was a good experience, though the food temperature could be improved.
Excellent flavors, presentation, atmosphere and service. Great vibes with many Indian motifs (like the colonial style chairs) without being overt. The only complaint would be portion sizes being a little too small - almost the size of Michelin tasting menus, but at a la carte prices. Would recommend that the restaurant considers revisiting some of those.
They are going for elegant Indian dining, that's clear to see. However, the place lacks gravitas in ambience to call it that. Slightly stuffy if I may say that. The service was fine. I got only vegetarian appetizers and they were fine too, although the portion was comically small. That said, flavors did not miss the mark.
Interesting find, the place had Indian cuisine but with a slight twist and a modern take. We enjoyed the pesarattu and the pav bhaji. Overall, the restaurant offered decently good food and we enjoyed it.
Ristorante che dovrebbe servire cibo indiano. Diciamo che riporta i sapori indiani rivisitati e gourmet. Grande pecca per me che e della tradizione indiana e nn servire infuzioni particolari che invece e molto tipico della cucina indiana
Ristorante indiano rivisitato in chiave gourmet, con piatti ricercati e nel complesso buoni. Il servizio però non è stato all’altezza: il cameriere è risultato piuttosto superbo e a tratti fastidioso, spesso sopra le righe e poco disponibile, con un atteggiamento che tendeva a imporre le scelte anziché consigliare. Sapevamo che non si trattasse di un indiano autentico ma di una proposta più gourmet, tuttavia ritengo che i prezzi siano eccessivi e non del tutto giustificati. Nel complesso una buona esperienza, ma non abbastanza da invogliarmi a tornare.
Tutto fumo e niente arrosto. Overpriced. Addendum in risposta alla proprietà: la prenotazione risale al 15/02/2025, immagino possiate facilmente verificare. Nel merito: la mia opinione è che il ristorante punti molto sull’immagine e sulla presentazione, ma che la qualità complessiva sia scarsa. Il prezzo, inoltre, risulta eccessivo. Il servizio è comunque stato cortese. Un tentativo maldestro di occidentalizzare la cucina indiana.
