Wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious (even the vegetarian dishes!), the meat and the sides were wonderful, the staff was kind and attentive and the space is beautiful. The only downside was the dessert - we shared a layered chocolate cake which was left unfinished. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely be returning!
We had a great dining experience here! We ordered the 1.3kg tomahawk steak along with appetizers of tongue, sashimi-style meat, and a fresh salad. Everything was absolutely delicious the quality of the meat stood out right away, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was attentive and the staff were polite, making sure we had what we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was also spot on, cozy yet lively, which really added to the overall experience. The only thing that felt a bit odd was at the end, when we asked for the bill, the table butler mentioned that the service charge was not included. While it wasn’t a big issue, it came across as slightly unusual since most places usually clarify this upfront. Overall, though, the food and experience were fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for top-quality steak and a great night out.
A very good steakhouse that brings Argentinean quality to Milan. The restaurant has 4 branches throughout the city. The menus are the same. The design of the restaurants is different. We like to go to the branch in ARENA the most. Our starter is beef carpaccio with foie gras, a dream dish. Along with the starters, bread and 4 local dips are always served. Then continue to the meat platter. We vary each time with a different cut and everything is simply delicious. Along with the meat platter, you will receive a variety of side dishes, from a freshly cut vegetable salad to a perfect sweet potato puree. So for all meat lovers, it's time to reserve a place.
We had a corporate dinner here. Since we were almost 20 people, we had a separate room just for us and it was great. So we could go around the table, talk with colleagues without bothering other guests. Arrived first, I was accompanied to the bar and offered a glass of wine. The host seemed a bit too busy and important by the way he behaved hehe but the blond guy at the Flores bar was very nice and smiley. Once we all got to the table, the food started to arrive. All the food was good but what wasn’t very comfortable is that they put the plates in the middle of the table, so we had to manage ourselves with how many people and from what side of the table we have to share a dish. This way some of us couldn’t taste some dishes as it wasn’t enough. I prefer when everyone has its own plate with a bite of everything, like a degustation. Anyways, a beautiful place with good food.
One of my go to places when I on biz trip to Milan. Definitely make sure you make a reservation ahead of time! For the past 6 months been there 3 times. The best part of it they have round table for a bigger group which make it so much easier to talk to everyone during dinner. As for starters you must have is the foie gras with raw beef. The beef is so tender it just melts in your mouth! With that hint of salt that you taste at the end finishes off this appetitser on a perfect note. If you have a bigger party feel free to try to enpanada to share just to have some pastry. When it comes the mains, if you have a bigger party definitely go for the tomahawk or the tbone. If a smaller party I would recommend 2 cuts. Make sure to remove or move the meat to the side of the hot plate onces it is served to avoid overcooked meat
The food here is superb! Excellent menu, knowledgeable sommelier, and worth every penny. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. For the red, have the Montelcino, you won’t regret it.
Very cool restaurant with rich and tasty menu. Considered one of the romantic places in Milan. Prices are okay for the quality and the quantity (big portions). A very reccomanded place for meatlovers!
We had food orgasm and one of the best steaks in our life! The lomo/fillet was beautifully done and soooo goood! Important: if you are ordering anything from the grill section, it comes with 5 complimentary side dishes (mashed potato, sweet potato purée, tomato and cucumber salad, French fries and potato salad), so do not order any other side dishes. The portion is very generous!
Dinner with friends, it was an amazing experienced to dine in this Argentinian Resto El Porteño, the service, the foods, the meat, from appetizer to desserts its like heaven, the meat lovers will enjoy every bites. Bravo and two thumbs up

The interior decor & atmosphere really brings you back to Buenos Aires. Attentive service & the food was amazing! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious & even better than some asados we’ve had in Argentina. Complimenti!
El Porteno is one of the best, if not "the" best Steak House around Milan. Their meats are seasoned just right, and all our steaks were done perfectly to what we requested. This is Argentinian style cuts, there does not appear to be NY strip on the menu 😂. My favorite here is the boneless house special ribeye steak. Next is their equivalent of the porterhouse, then the filet. If you order the beef rib, it comes in a fancy presentation rack. The wine list is also very extensive, good work on the sommelier's part. There are wine from €10s to €1000s, enough to satisfy wide ranging tastes. When you receive the bill, they bring this enormous candy / lollipop tree to complete the evening. Yes this is not as sophisticated as those other Michelin and Milanese cuisine restaurants that we have come to try in Milan, but coming from NYC, it really satisfied our craving for traditional steak house fare.

Amazing food, from the starters to the meat! Very nice wine menu as well. The only thing that doesn't seem great in a restaurant like this is having a waiter that took 5 mins to open a bottle of wine because he didn't have the experience (something really simple) and also the fact that another waiter while listening to us ordering food was making baloons with a chewing gum, a true disservice to a great food experience.
I had dinner at the restaurant last Friday and I had the best meat in town for dinner. The venue is amazing, the style of the interiors are very classy and aesthetic. The service I must say wasn’t the best I was expecting. Me and my friends like and value the gratitude and smiling of the waiters, that we didn’t really find at this venue. We respect the fact that they’re working and it’s not always easy to be happy during work but we also don’t enjoy to be served without having even a minimal consideration. It would be better seeing the staff enjoying the company of the guests and giving a bit more attention on the service. For the rest it’s the place to be with some friends or for a date, the food quality is one of the best I’ve ever seen in Milan.

We went to have dinner on Saturday.. Waiting times with a reservation were too high. Service was honestly slower than average (comparing to the Gourmet near Duomo). Argentinian cuts are amazing, without a doubt. The waiter should pay attention when serving to make sure the cooking point of the meat is even and as requested. This Porteño isn’t as intimate as the Gourmet one, and we had the misfortune of having a group of guys yelling from 22:00 til closure. We had to ask to switch tables because we couldn’t even talk because of all the screaming.
Good beef and newly all kinds of beef can be found. Good wine selection, surely, good service ! Perfect ! The portion of side dishes already can feed me well ! Bee there already three times and would like to go again !
There are several cuts of meat available. Range goes from tasty to soft meat. I suggest to improve side dishes, it’s low quantity and choice.

Came here on a Friday night with some friends, first impression was a very chic and lively place. Before our table was ready we enjoyed a superb negroni 😍 later we had some starters and for the main course we went for the 1,5kg Filet - wow Imagine that 🤩 the whole filet piece from a beef!!! Never saw that one before on a menu! It was so delicious, cooked and seasoned to perfection- pure heaven! 😋😋😋😍😍😍 however that night the service was subpar, the sides were not served with the main dish we asked for it and were told it will be served soon, yet the only place where we saw them was on the invoice at the end - a big no no especially the lame excuse from our servant. On the plus side she wanted to offer some negronis, but we were too full. Anyway my friends told me they came here 5 times already and it was never like this. 🤷🏿♂️ well I will be back for sure, maybe it was just bad luck.

Place looks amazing, but unfortunately the food was bad and the service was very slow and quite unprofessional. We had several types of steaks, but nothing was good. We even had to return one dish because it wasn't hot enough... I would not recommend this place to any meat lover.
