Prima di tutto vorrei lodare il fatto che nonostante il locale si trovi al centro della movida milanese, il servizio che abbiamo ricevuto e' stato cordiale, genuino e soprattutto senza alcuna pressione di andare via appena ingoiato il pasto come ormai sta succedendo in tutto il centro di Milano. Eravamo seduti fuori e si stava benissimo, ammirando il viavai di Largo la Foppa senza esserne travolti. Il cibo (per lo piu tradizionale) e' stato molto gradevole e i prezzi incredibilmente onesti. Ottima soluzione per una cena semplice ma di qualita' in questa zona.

Atmosfera tranquilla, cibo milanese e non solo di ottima qualità, proprietari sempre cortesi. Che dire di più? Torniamo spesso in questo accogliente ristorante e lo consigliamo davvero a tutti. Nel confermare le cinque stelle, mi sento di consigliare i fantastici risotti per esempio agli asparagi o radicchio ma anche gli gnocchi allo Zola e naturalmente la cotoletta milanese. A pochissimi passi fuori dalla confusione di Corso Garibaldi c’è questo posto che può sembrare freddo ed invece é molto accogliente. Servizio super veloce, cortese e simpatico. Cucina Milanese ma non solo. Una buona selezione di vini. Hanno accolto il mio cane senza alcuna esitazione. Prezzo abbordabilissimo. Una bella sorpresa

Che sia una rapida pausa pranzo, un lunch di lavoro, una cena romantica o un boccone al volo, Volta Street propone una scelta di altissima qualità che sposa parzialmente la tradizione culinaria milanese e più in generale l’ottima scelta variegata dell’ottima cucina italiana, presentata al meglio. Ambiente informale, comunque raffinato, servizio impeccabile, cortesia e simpatia garantite dalla splendida gestione del locale a cura di Livio ed Enrico, i fratelloni che ognuno di noi vorrebbe avere. One of the best places I’ve been to during my time in Italy. Staff is very friendly and helpful, there is an iPad that shows you all the dishes which was so helpful. Food came very fast and servings were huge (compared to the other places I’ve been to in Italy lol)! I got the spaghetti with tomato sauce and steak with peppercorn sauce, cooked perfectly. Highly recommend and I will be back when I come to visit Italy again.

Having been given “low” expectations for food in Milan we found this place close to our hotel and didn’t expect too much, but are pleased to report that we loved it here! Really good and fresh food and wine, super reasonably priced, and overall a lovely dinner. We thought it might be a tourist trap as they had iPads out with the menu but don’t fear! They are just genuinely trying to be helpful to you! And lots of locals here. Had the gnocchi, cotoletta, risotto, and osso buco. In particular we loved the risotto and the cotoletta Milanese will make me look differently at schnitzel forever. We had a lovely chat with the owner as well. Send your friends here. Grazie!!!

We stumbled upon Volta street restaurant run by two brothers in the corsa como Area that serves authentic Milanese food. We tried out their seafood pasta and their shrimp/zucchini Milanese risotto which was delicious. Their tomato bruschetta and tiramisu were delicious too. Their portions were good and the dinner was very reasonably priced. Since the menu was in Italian, it helped us understand what we were ordering when they showed us the pictures of each dish. Their customer service was exceptional, personal and warm. Plus, they were efficient and professional in their way of dealing with their customers. If you are in Milan, we would highly recommend this restaurant for great food and superb personal service at a reasonable price.

You should believe every positive thing already written in the comments. It is sn excellent place to have a good meal and feel comfortable - at very fair prices, which is not easy in Milano! We would definitely return here.

This is an amazing local gem of wholesome fresh home-style cooking. Only locals in the restaurant, which only adds to the flavor and attests to the quality. Ubicato ‘girato l’angolo’ dal mangimificio turistico meneghino, agevolmente raggiungibile, con tavoli anche all’aperto e frequentato essenzialmente da clienti autoctoni. Piatti alla milanese ben fatti al momento. Servizio adeguato, costi in linea con l’area. Calice di bianco da evitare.

Primo piatto e antipasto di pesce buoni e porzioni abbondanti, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo! Location comoda rispetto ai principali mezzi di trasporto in zona. Servizio da 5 stelle, gentilissimi e molto rapidi! Non conoscevo questo locale, dovrebbero farsi più pubblicità!

Ristorante molto consigliato tra quelli della zona Moscova-Garibaldi per l'ottima qualità. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della nostra cena: ossibuchi deliziosi, tagliata molto tenera e anche il dolce ai 3 cioccolati strepitoso. I primi non li abbiamo presi ma quelli visti agli altri tavoli ci sembravano invitanti. Personale cordiale, accogliente e pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche per poter assaggiare qualche primo piatto

Superb restaurant for a quiet day or night dining. I chose this place after seeing its good reviews and fellow customers weren’t wrong, the manager I think, with glasses was super friendly and accommodating, then knew that we were tourists so gave us a tablet with the food names and photos to help us decide. The Asian male waiter who also served our table was also very polite and helpful. We ordered a prawn pasta and also a seafood one, both hit the mark and my prawn were very meaty so the quality was there. I do have a knock a star sadly though as with our pastas we also ordered a breaded veal and we were anticipating it for several minutes and chased for it but unfortunately it was never put on the order which is quite disappointing. I would definitely come back though!

Bread as an appetizer was dry. And like we observed, olive oil is just for locals. But! The menu, the salmon was really pleasant. Tiramisu wasn't the best but it was still good.

Busy place but service was still excellent ~ Prices were okay and the food were great:) I could tell all the ingredients used were fresh and good!!!! Come if u want to try authentic family Italian cuisine!! I give 4 stars cuz the bread basket given at the very beginning seemed to be one leftover from other table:( (they changed it for us as soon as we required~)

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante durante un giorno settimanale. Ho optato per spaghetti alla carbonara che non erano nulla di speciale, troppo liquidi e la pancetta, tagliata sottilissima non era croccante nemmeno un po’. Ho aggiunto un piatto di zucchine saltate, semplici ma buone e per finire ho preso una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco molto sfiziosa, soprattutto il topping con pezzi di vera frutta. Mezza acqua gasata ed un caffè per 21€ totali. Non mi è ancora chiaro perchè la carbonara, prezzata a 8€ sul menù, l’ho pagata 12€, errore mio nel non averlo chiesto prima di essermene andato.
