Abbiamo ordinato taglieri di affettati e formaggi misti locali, ossobuco con risotto alla milanese, costoletta: sono le loro specialità. Abbiamo bevuto benissimo. Il conto era più che onesto, personalmente mi aspettavo di pagare di più. Locale intimo e confortevole, atmosfera accogliente. Valerio è stato attento ad ogni nostra esigenza, complimenti a tutto il personale: ci avete fatti stare bene e vi adoro per questo! 💗

Il Ristorante Rosso Brera è una vera gemma nel cuore di Milano! Appena si entra, si viene accolti da un’atmosfera calda e curata nei dettagli, che unisce eleganza e comfort in modo impeccabile. Il personale è estremamente cordiale e professionale, sempre attento ma mai invadente: ti fanno sentire davvero un ospite speciale. La qualità del cibo è eccezionale , ingredienti freschissimi, piatti preparati con cura e presentati in modo impeccabile. Dall’antipasto al dolce, tutto è semplicemente perfetto. Ottima anche la selezione dei vini, con abbinamenti consigliati con competenza e gusto. Il servizio è rapido e preciso, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è assolutamente giusto per la qualità proposta. Sono stata ieri sera al ristorante Rosso Brera per il mio compleanno con delle amiche, ci siamo trovate benissimo, tutto squisito con materie prime di qualità e servizio perfetto. Al termine di tutto molto apprezzato anche il limoncello offerto dal cameriere che è stato molto disponibile per tutta la sera e ha saputo consigliarci al meglio sui piatti proposti. Consigliamo al proprietario del locale di dargli un aumento! 😜

Cute little restaurant tucked away in the end of a street. Awesome vibes for dinner, food was stunning, I had the stuffed zucchini for entree then the pesto pasta. The service was so nice, it was a warm night so the lady gave us hand fans, as we were sitting outside. Would recommend this to anyone 😍

We stumbled upon Rosso Brera after exploring the Duomo and it turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Milan. We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect, great people-watching, a cozy vibe, and just enough shade to relax and enjoy. The hospitality was amazing from start to finish, everyone was kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We ordered the risotto and the ham with ricotta dish. Both were delicious, the risotto was creamy and cooked just right, and the ham and ricotta combo was unexpectedly light and flavorful. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet high-quality spot near the heart of Milan, this is it. Definitely worth a visit!

Cosy place with classic milanese dishes. We tried cotoletta and risotto and both of them was delicious. Prices are adequate to quality and quantity. Big adventage of this place is its opening hour during siesta.

Amazing restaurant in central Milano with great food and service. I had the Gorgonzola mousse with fig, papadelle ragout and the tiramisu. They were all really amazing. I’ve tried many tiramisu in Italy but this is one of the best.

What a great discovery! We were looking for tortelli di zucca, and being the only restaurant around having them, we ended up here. We tried the baccala, the tortelli, the risotto and the tiramisu, and everything was delicious. We arrived at 12h and were the lucky first at the terrace. Don't wait too long to go as it was packed from 12h30. If you cannot arrived earlier and don't mind waiting, do so, the food is worth it. Also, I saw some reviews disappointed in the few choices in the menu. In my opinion, it means the food is of a better quality than restaurant with endless options.

Ristorante in Brera tipicamente milanese anche se un pò turistico come del resto tutti i locali in via brera e adiacenze.C'è molto spazio all'esterno, punto a favore le stufe perchè d'inverno si muore di freddo. Ero già stata anni fa e ricordavo un buonissimo antipasto di crostino con salsiccia cruda che ho ripreso con piacere e poi ho preso una semplice tartare di carne con senape e cipolla. Le persone con me hanno preso un risotto alla milanese e una pasta. Ci è piaciuto abbastanza.

Trattoria nel cuore di Brera, ottimo servizio, ottima mise en place, ottimo menu, ottima location, ottimo tutto. Metto 4 stelle perché alcune parti della cotoletta erano indietro di cottura ma per il resto veramente top, da ritornarci. La tartare è qualcosa di spettacolare e abbondante per una persona.

Atmosfera rilassante, luci soffuse, ambiente elegante. Personale simpatico e professionale. Cibo molto buono. Unico neo è la cura dei dettagli, in un locale del genere la tovaglia è d’obbligo! La tovaglietta di carta non si può proprio vedere ! Una rinfrescata al locale non farebbe male. Nel complesso molto buono. Prezzi non proprio economici, ma considerando la zona e la qualità, ci può stare.

Another reviewer who claimed they were from Italy said the ossobuco over risotto was the best they had so I decided to try it for myself. I left unimpressed. The risotto was premade and runny, the meat was tough. Great service and location, however.

Food is ok, waiters are ok, I just think it’s overpriced maybe because of the location. When I asked to the waiter what was I charged for additional 17.90€ because it was in italian, he said google it, was not very happy and explained it was for napkins, dishes and fork&knifes

Outdoor seating and there were no fans and poor sun shades. I was eaten ALIVE by mosquitos. 4 days later and I’m in bits. Be careful to sit outside. Staff cares very little and there are no deterrents around. Food was good - the egg truffle was amazing. I tried the “local favorite” the saffron risotto - it was ok- inconsistent rice textures.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and a very cozy atmosphere. Service is 10/10. The food was tasty. Tiramisu was excellent! A bit over priced for what you get in my opinion, but still worth a visit.

Abbiamo mangiato fuori ed è stato piacevole. Alcuni camerieri erano bravi e professionali, altri piuttosto disorientati, il servizio nel complesso non è stato particolarmente buono. I piatti buoni, ma niente di indimenticabile, né i migliori in fatto di cucina tipica milanese. I prezzi sono alti rispetto alla qualità che offrono.

Food was solala, risotto was super overcooked and missing on salt. Meat was okish but a little dry. Fennel salat smelled like nothing, not recommended. Waiters were okeish, had to tell twice for water and was on his mobilephone just in front of the restaurant. However, atmosphere was great. Typical italian restaurant and the above comments sound worse as they are. I would not recommend the place but I would not deny it eather.

Average taste food but the environment is really nice with great variety of tasty wines. Traditional risotto Milanese with bone marrow was average taste. Mix of cheese and salami was really nice . Tiramisu was good.

Stopped here for lunch in Brera Rosso Brera caught our attention due to a short line in front of the place, with the majority being locals. Although the waiters found a table for us quite fast, the service overall was not that remarkable. We were barely able to catch someone to make our order, needed to ask for olive oil, salt, and pepper, as well as had to ask for the bill at least twice - weird given such a turnover. Lunch menu has quite a lot of traditional options, including the regional Milanese dishes. Despite the wide choice, the food was quite bland and oily. Brera is a nice district which seems to offer some other better places for authentic Italian cuisine…

Il cibo era buono ma i camerieri assolutamente impreparati, chiediamo un calice di vino e ci propone tre vini non specificando le cantine di provenienza. Arriva il conto, rimaniamo perplesse per i 16€ per un calice di etna rosso, chiediamo chiarimenti al cameriere per capire la cantina di provenienza e la risposta del cameriere è “della Sicilia”.

Allora, parliamo di questo posto, Rosso Brera. Mamma mia. Un'esperienza che non dimenticherò mai, ma credetemi, non per i motivi giusti. Non ho mai, e dico MAI, incontrato un cameriere così maleducato in tutta la mia vita. Fin dal primo secondo ci ha trattati con un'aria di sufficienza, come se ci stesse facendo un favore enorme solo a respirare nella nostra direzione. Onestamente, avremmo dovuto alzarci e andarcene subito, perché vi assicuro che il cibo non valeva assolutamente la sua arroganza gigante. Ma il momento che non mi scorderò mai è stato quando ho chiesto delle semplicissime fette di limone. Apriti cielo. Questo tizio ha passato minuti INTERI a discutere con noi, sostenendo che il limone "non era appropriato" per il piatto che avevo ordinato. Ma stiamo scherzando? Senti bello, non sei tu lo chef. Il tuo lavoro è portarmi quello che ti chiedo, punto e basta. La cosa che mi fa più rabbia è che io ho lavorato in questo settore per decenni, ho fatto di tutto, dall'hostess al manager. Sono una cliente super tranquilla, sempre educata, una di quelle che non rompe mai le scatole. Volevo solo un po' di limone. Non avevo bisogno di una lezione di gastronomia e tanto meno di stare a discutere per minuti con un cameriere che è un cafone arrogante. Quindi sì, Rosso Brera. Indimenticabile, davvero.

Si mangia male e costa tanto. Un secondo a testa con 2 piatti di salumi, 3 bottiglie di rosso e una di prosecco in 9: 80€ a testa. Nessun piatto ha passato il voto 2/5. È ovviamente anche colpa nostra. Come italiani non si può andare in in tourist trap del genere perchè a uno di noi “piace la piazza”. Ma davvero se si toglie la location, non penso di aver mangiato peggio a milano.

I had the carbonara here and it was a huge disappointment. A proper carbonara should always be made with guanciale, yet they served it with bacon slapped on top. It’s unacceptable for an Italian restaurant — especially in Italy. The dish completely missed the authenticity. If you care about real carbonara, avoid this place !
