Delicious Indian food - Idli vada sambar, paneer chilly, fish vindaloo and mango custard. Also their space is amazing, clean and stylish. Very decent staff and professional attitude.
Chicken tikka burger which is the newest item on their menu was delicious! Butter chicken & paneer tikka masala was good as well. The Gajar halwa & masala chai here are a must try very tasty!
I used to have a lot of prejudices about Indian cuisine. I was particularly apprehensive about the abundance of spices and curry. I can confidently say that this place shatters all stereotypes. The ingredients harmonize beautifully, and the dishes will even appeal to those who don't enjoy culinary experiments. Most dishes from the main menu will look visually similar to each other. The meat will resemble a stew, incredibly tender and well-cooked, accompanied by plain rice and flatbreads. For appetizers, you can try something like meat pastries. They contain spices and are slightly salty, but when you taste them with one of the two sauces, they transform into a completely different flavor. The place is fantastic, and the people working there are very pleasant.
This is my 4th time coming here. Their food is sooo good 😊 Every I came here, I wrote a review but they seemed to have disappeared so I’m writing a new one. I ordered the chicken biryani because my server Amid recommended it. Amid was very courteous and attentive. If you like Indian food, this is one of the best 😋
I moved to Lake Forest a few years back and have been looking for a good Indian restaurant, and this is it! Ambiance is classy and inviting, employees are nice and accommodating, and the food is excellent! Give it a try!
Came in for the lunch menu. 2 items w/rice, both chicken, both in a sauce, both unique and tasty 😋 Included with the Lunch Special is naan (2 pieces). I went plain, but they do have options. Service: pleasant service with a smile.
This place is my one and only indian resturant to go to at lease twice a week , i get garlic naan bread and chicken khadai , if they are reading my review they will know me , this place is by far the cleanest , food is very good and exceptional , listen people , this place i highly highly recommend it .

I've been coming to this place for the last couple of months and honestly, I don't think I need to ever go to another Indian food spot because this is my "go to" spot from now until the end of time. The food is amazing. Its rich and delicious and they don't hold back on the spiciness. I feel like I could breath fire but I can't stop myself from eating because it's so flavorful. There's a lot of places that just make their food super spicy while compromising the flavor of the food... This is not one of those places! The food is spicy and rich in flavor! It's an amazing balance. The staff is amazing toothed! They always greet me with a smile and they're super respect. Their restaurant looks SPOTLESS! It goes to show that they take great pride in their work! Tonight, they were kind enough to have my try their new Tika Masala burger and honestly, I was confused. Tika Masala, as a burger? Sounds crazy but also, it sounds delicious and it didn't disappoint! Their Tika Masala is my go to dish and having it on a burger was excellent! If you are a local to this area and you haven't come to this place, you're doing yourself a disservice! Thanks again! ~Alex
We were in the area and wanted Indian food. This was the closest place. I thought I may have made a mistake when I walked in, it was empty and they had the TV on a cartoon channel, loud. The servers were very nice, and the food was fantastic! We got Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo both with medium spice and they had so much flavor. The naan was ok, the paratha was better. I would definitely come back for take out!
Sattva Indian Rasoi offers a sublime culinary experience, blending authentic flavors with modern finesse. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, rich in spice and soul, reflecting true Indian hospitality. The ambiance is warm, the service impeccable, and the food consistently elevates tradition. A hidden gem worth savoring.
Super nice place! The food was amazing all around from starters to the mains. The bread is great and is a must get. The Indian beers they also have are worth trying and add a little extra to the meal. Quality service as well. The ambiance was great, very casual and relaxed. Good place for friends or family. Probably one of the best Indian places in south Orange County. Highly recommended coming to this place and trying a little of everything. You won't be disappointed! Some of the most traditional tasting Indian food I've had.
I’m not very experienced in a whole lot of Indian food. I’ve been to maybe 4-5 restaurants. This place is my favorite so far! The staff is very friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. The food is amazing!!! If it’s authentic or not I’m not to sure since I’ve never been to India, but this food is fire. I’ve been to this spot about 3 times and every time the food has been on point. For the price you sure get a lot. I usually have some leftovers for lunch the next day. I live 50 miles away and come here every time I’m in the area. If you’ve never had Indian food you can always ask for suggestions from the server. They are always willing to help you find a tasty meal.
One of the better Indian restaurants for curries and masala. Biriyani not so much. I always get take out.
Sattva provides an excellent dining experience that is both welcoming and rich in authentic taste. Upon entering, the atmosphere feels serene and inviting. The Chicken Tikka Masala is undoubtedly one of the finest renditions of this traditional dish available. The chicken is tender and infused with a smoky flavor from the tandoor, thoroughly soaking up the marinade's essence. It is served in a luxurious, creamy tomato-based sauce that balances savory and slightly sweet notes, with just the right amount of spice to enhance its complexity without overwhelming the taste buds. You'll certainly want something to scoop up every last bit, which leads us to the Garlic Naan. It pairs perfectly with the tikka masala—aromatic, flavorful, and immensely satisfying.
Yummy Indian restaurant! Got take out for dinner. The pizza was just ok. But the curry was great! The mint chutney and yogurt was delicious! Will be coming back to try the lamb tikka and a few other dishes for sure!
This place is amazing! The food is tasty and there are so many options for me since I have to eat gluten free. Their vegetable Malai kofta is gluten-free and so flavorful, the only restaurant I've ever been to that has it gluten free. We will definitely be back! Yummy chana masala. The menu is very clearly four for anyone with food restrictions. Think you everyone at Sattva!

Ordered late in the day. Got the butter chicken and lamb saag. Butter chicken was great, no surprise there. First time getting lamb saag; big cubes of lamb and very tender (no bones or sinews like a lot of places). 5/5 on the food alone, but extra points for being open until 10PM in the 949.

The perfectly crispy mixed vegetable pakoda and flavorful Gobi Manchurian that hit all the right spicy-tangy notes( could have made them few smaller bite size portion)The vegetarian platter was generous and well-seasoned, and the fresh tandoori roti paired beautifully with everything. Every dish tasted good, but the portions were so hearty that we couldn’t finish it all. There was a complimentary dessert at the end. I think it was custard with fruits I was not sure 😆
These guys deliver a taste of Indian straight to your table. Many savory dishes to choose from that will sure make your mouth water and tingle. And boy are they generous with their servings. I got the chicken 65, which are succulent pieces of boneless chicken fried and cooked in 65 spices. This will sure make your mouth tingle, even at the mildest level! A bit salty however. I got the butter chicken, which are boneless cubes of white meat cooked and creamy sauce and butter. Very tender and fresh, comes with rice. Polish off any leftover sauce with your choice of plain, garlic, or buttery naan bread. Great service and the clean interior, with Indian music playing in the background.
I asked them to make it really spicy and boy did they ever. Spiciest food I’ve ever had in my life. And if you know me that’s saying a lot. So spicy my chest hurt for two hours after. I am saying this with laughter, don’t get me wrong. I asked for it that way, so that’s on me. Kudos to them for taking me seriously! Spice aside, the chana saag and gobi Manchurian were pretty fantastic. Some of the best I’ve had. Rice could have used some seasoning. Prices were awesome. Service was nice enough. No toilet paper with I went in the bathroom though. I had to tell someone to put a roll in there and it took a while. Didn’t look very kindly on that. I would still go back though (or order delivery). Food was worth it.

a stylish spot for indian food in mission viejo but the food didn’t really hit and the prices make it tough to want to come back tandoori chicken: skip super dry which made it hard to enjoy. kinda disappointing curry: maybe? it was fine. had decent flavor but nothing memorable garlic nann: get! always love me a good garlic naan and this was great to have with the curry the space inside is nice and well decorated which was cool but it was so empty and quiet when i went... felt a little awkward. prices were pretty high too for what you get. probably wouldn’t return food: 5/10 service: 6/10 atmosphere: 6/10 value: 4/10

I recently ordered both veg and chicken biryani from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The biryani was overwhelmingly spicy with no real flavor or depth—just heat for the sake of it. It lacked the rich aroma, taste, and balance that a good biryani should have. Honestly, if biryani is not your specialty, it's better not to include it on the menu. This place clearly isn’t meant for biryani lovers. I would recommend trying some other dishes instead.
