I've never been here before and was pleased that this is where we chose to have lunch. Food was delicious, inside seating area was cute and comfortable and the pie is so good. Definitely coming back here to get some more pies for Thanksgiving. My daughter said it was one of the best she ever had! Coming from a teenager, that says something.

We come to this Nations every chance we get when traveling. They have thee best burgers, hands down. Fries are awesome too. We take a slice of pie with us every single time, too. I’m still going to try their French toast which I’m sure is good. But, it’s hard to pass up the burgers when we’re here. Also, super friendly staff and clean, bright restaurant. I’m on the rewards program and the discounts are great.

I know this is not your normal commentary but the first thing that struck me about the restaurant was that the lighting was very well done and all the vases on the tables had real fresh flowers. Nice touch. We dined in. My comment on the onion rings is that I would have liked more onion rather than onion skin. Also a nice touch that they had plenty of different sauces to choose from and even had Tabasco and Cholula sauce. Prices were reasonable.

Very Good. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by two young ladies with welcoming smiles. They were eager to serve and that made me happy. You don't really see that anymore with people. So to be served this way, made me feel honor. Thank you for cultivating an atmosphere like that.

Took me back to the time of Good burgers!!!! Love the sauce and the cheese that melds with the meat! Fries are ok. Could cook a bit longer but they are tasty. Milkshakes are awesome. And a fried hotdog??? Delish!! Better than the Tracy location. Go Modesto!! Appreciate the sample of pie brought to the table. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere with fresh flowers on the table. 😻

It was my first time at this location and from the time I walked in to eating the last bite of my food, I had a great experience. I was greeted with a smile as I walked in and my food was hot and tasted delicious! I would definitely return to this location! Great Job!

Such great food! I brought both of my kids who are quite picky and they LOVED it! The burgers are nice and juicy and the pies taste home cooked! The inside is clean and the staff is incredibly nice!

This place and its employees have been nothing but fabulous since I started ordering here. I've gone in and picked up orders and also had deliveries. One time I did a doordash order and realized that I had left something off. So I called the restaurant and a very nice lady named Amyel added the item for me and didn't charge me because there was no way to charge me after my doordash order had already been submitted. I couldn't believe that they would be so nice! The restaurant is always clean. The food is always exactly as it has been since their original locations opened many years ago. Consistency breeds success! These people have it together. Good food. Friendly and very helpful employees. What more could you ask for in a burger ..breakfast ... pie place? 😁👍

I always have great service here... &;Amyel even had greater service today Sept 23rd 2025 but I already knew that cause everytime Ive encountered Amyel she has given/shown me great, great service.Great customer service courteouS is kind calm professional just seems like she is truly fit for customer service dealing with the Public cause she does it so well.Once again , with respect professionalism kindness courteous & calmness... i'm from the Bay area. The food was amazing as always. I’ve recently tried their chili cheese dog and I’m now hooked. So now it’s harder to decided between the bacon cheeseburger, the Three egger or the chili cheese dog. Shout out to Kendal for great service!!!!!!!

Had a great lunch here today! Tried the chili burger for the first time. The chili was good and not spicy, slightly sweet. The veggie burger was so delicious! I loved the patty and whole wheat bun was nice and soft. The fries were nice and crispy. We got an oreo milkshake and it was so good! The cookie pieces were yummy. The blueberry cheesecake had a great balance of tart and sweetness, and one slice is good for two people. For two people we spent like $45.

I used the mobile app to order my food and was delighted to find the food was ready to go when I arrived. When I first opened up the burger I was surprised to see it didn't look appealing. But when I put it all together and bit into it, I was reassured that it was a great burger. I had the strawberry tart with whipped cream. I enjoyed both items I ordered. I'm not from California any longer, I'm happy to be able to have a nation's burger.

Loved Nations since the only one available was in Tracy. It was a custom for my church to eat there on our way back from Oakland. It is pie heaven, I can watch McHenry traffic while I eat. Food is delish, a super addition to Modesto

Overpriced good food. $22.45 for a burger, fries and small shake. Yummy thou but worth it? Maybe once in awhile. Also their pies are awesome but I recommend buying the whole pie otherwise by the slice isn't worth it.

Food is good but expensive. Way too much mayo on the hamburgers and no combos. Everything is bought separately. The berry pie and cherry cheesecake were amazing. The sugar-free apple pie was bland.

The service was great everything was yummy. The pies are always delicious.My only complaint would be the cheeseburger the patty was thin and the burger was mostly veggies , not at all how I remember it being.

To be honest, haven’t had epic cheesecake in a long while. Just chain locales. At this time when local strawberry are available. Nation’s strawberry cheesecake is pretty tasty, moist, silky, and creamy consistency. Just decent quality. Must see. As always post wherever your wifey sends you to get strawberry cheese cake 🍰 until I run into another locale, what did you guys recommend?

Went for breakfast at 9 am. There were only 3 ladies working, which was kind of sad, they definitely looked like there should have been at least 5, given it was a Sunday morning. The coffee WAS TERRIBLE, I MEAN, HORRIBLE. I tried to switch to decaf instead, it was empty lol. The manager came out to check out the coffee containers, seen it was empty, left and never came back with a refill, or to create a new batch. The regular coffee tastes like burnt toast. Lol And only non dairy creamer was available, just yucky! The food was good though! Can't go wrong with Nation's breakfast, I grew up on it! But yeah, no ice tea in the dispenser either. Maybe they are just too short staffed to care. But the food is good!

I stopped by this Nation’s Giant Hamburgers because I was craving apple pie, the kind that’s warm, fresh, and comforting, like it just came out of the oven. That’s honestly what I expected by default. Instead, I was handed a cold slice. No one asked if I wanted it warmed up. I took a bite, assuming it would be warm, and it wasn’t. When I went back to ask if they could heat it up, I was told they couldn’t take it back because I had already bitten into it. I understand policies exist, but this felt like a customer service miss. A simple “Would you like that warmed up?” when ordering could have prevented the whole situation. It left me disappointed — not because of the pie itself, but because of how easily this could have been handled better.
