We were told there is an app to get where points can be applied for discounts on food in the future. Please ask the staff if you stop in to eat. My hubby was gifted money for these meals. What we saw is Very sanitized and clean. No dirty vacant tables. Yarelli, our waitress, made our night ! First time eating here and she quickly covered our needs letting us know there were free chips and salsa with our requested sugar free ice tea with lemons and sweetener. The meals were expertly made with every detail per description in the menu. The waiters brought our hot, mouth watering food out with expertise too. ladies at the register made us feel welcomed too. Also all staff dressed clean, orderly and have a friendly persona per employee. Wait time to eat was minimal. Today is August 22, 2025.

We had the shrimp tacos, the Rodriguez dinner with chicken on the nachos. Both were fantastic. All the food came out so quick and hot. The chips are thin salty and crispy!!! The green and red sauce are both delicious! The happy hour Cadillac margaritas were very good.

Wonderful food. Fantastic Green Sauce Great place to eat. The only thing is that they need to brighten up the restaurant. I will absolutely visit every time I'm in Baytown!!! The dish I had was grilled chicken covered with Queso, Shrimp and Crawfish Tails. Absolutely Delicious!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic service from Tony our waiter. He could not have been more professional and fast with service. Beer and beverages never ran out, and after 3 days fishing good fast service is important. Food was phenomenal (we all had the stuffed avocados and highly recommended it). Will definitely make this the go to restaurant for our fishing trips down here. Would definitely recommend this place if you like tex-mex and great service. Also free ice cream at meals end only helps sweeten the deal.

One of the places I been trying to try out. Arrived and Dalson was very helpful, asked for recommendations and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had pollo marisco and the tacos al carbon, great options. Amazing taste. Mixed drink are well made, portions are a little small for the price but it's normal at a restaurant. Definitely recommend a visit

We’ve been going to iggys for years now. My absolute favorite place! Customer service is on point and the food is mouth watering good! Highly recommend. My favorites are chicken enchiladas, fajita nachos, and the fajita meal. Free ice cream machine is a plus too :)

I've been coming to this place for close to 20 years. The food and service have always been amazing. I'm really loving the new drink selections. The food always comes to the table quick and hot. Service is always on par with Jailey. Highly recommend if you like tex mex.

It's a good family place, even has a covered kids play area outside. Has a separate bar area with lots of TV's showing sports. The food is good and good quality plus quantity. I would definitely eat here again.

Our server Kaylee was vibrant, friendly and she provided great service. I was on my way back to Dallas and stopped here to eat. I ordered half fajita nachos bc I can’t take home leftovers (portion sizes are very large). Just FYI the costs on half orders does not mean half cost. It was only one dollar ($1) less than a full order. Grateful for food, server, and fellowship with my friends. My only suggestion to the management is to lower your cost for half the food.

Im more than sure I won't go to this restaurant anymore because of what i seen. I seen a waiter approach a hostess and tried to kiss her but she hit him to get away. This happened a little after 1pm they can check the cameras. I dont want to be part of any illegal activity. She did say she was ok

Visited 1-7-2026 around 3:00. Service was fantastic! We didn't care for the food. It was greasy. The cheese dip and chips was good. We loved the sweet tea. The atmosphere was nice, resturaunt was clean.

Lunch at the bar top. It was fine. Second time I've eaten there. Pretty much the same opinion. The seating feels so cramped even sitting at a bar chair. Everyone is too close to my personal bubble. The bartender does a good job. There's a stigma attached to sitting at the bar and not ordering alcohol. I don't drink, but it's usually more private at the bar, and have to ability to engage with others if the situation arises. Great food though.

Guess my waitress was tired. She did ask to leave early and we got another young lady who was very attentive. However ; our original server messed up our order ~ which the new server corrected . But I guess she did the right thing and went home . It was obvious that she was overwhelmed or tired . I didn't really enjoy my meal because by the time it was corrected, I was full of chips & salsa. Just not overly impressed with my past 3 visits. I use to rave of the service & food .

This is a well-traveled, WORN Tex-Mex restaurant. Sat in a booth and sank DOWN into a bottomless seat that used to have some padding. The ceiling fan above us rattled, hummed and vibrated the whole lunch. The stuffed avocado I ordered arrived loaded with processed, melted cheese. The quality of food has absolutely decreased and somewhat rapidly. I'm the type of person that finds what I like and sticks to it. With that being said, I ordered the same meal for about the fifth time. Unfortunately I had to return my food and request a food refund. The manager did kindly offer to remake it but I declined. I would like to note that the waitress and to-go attendee had an attitude. It's as if they try to get snappy first, and expecting you to follow suit. It's unprofessional, distasteful, and not cute. The rice was hard and overcooked. The cooks obviously forgot to shred the "shredded chicken" enchiladas and season them. Honestly the food is becoming more tasteless and not even worth almost $20 per plate. Everyone wants a "tip" for doing the bare minimum but customer service and food quality needs to be addressed before asking for more money for already overpriced mediocre food. It's unfortunate but I would recommend El Toro for Tex-Mex over Iguana Joe's.

Not my kind of Mexican food. The place is not clean. Sticky floors and menus. The do have a bar and it looks like folks like the play area for their children.

BEWARE!!! Let me start by saying I (used to) LOVE Iguana Joe’s. I (used to) eat there frequently. I went Sunday (2/22/26) on National Margarita Day. I sat on the patio and was served by Mason (he was great). I ordered the chicken chimichanga with double rice. The next day, Monday I woke up with projectile vomiting that progressed into “fluids” coming out of both ends at the same time (if you catch my drift). It was classic salmonella food poisoning. Iguana Joe’s was the only meal I had Sunday. I called today to let them know and the conversation went like this: Iguana Joe’s: “Hello, how can I help you” Me: “Hello! I’m calling to speak to a manager” Iguana Joe’s: “How can I help you?” Me: “Is this a manager?” Iguana Joe’s: “Yes. How can I help you” Me: “I was calling to notify you that I dined in on Sunday, ordered the chicken chimichanga and got food poisoning the next day. I just don’t want anyone else to get sick” Iguana Joe’s: “Okay” After getting sick, I googled “Iguana Joe’s food poisoning” and discovered I am just one of many. Be careful and stay healthy.

Got take out for 4 people. The food wasn't good like it used to be. Tasted like it was out of the microwave. They gave us five bags of chips and a couple of 2oz sample size about 1oz of red sauce in each no green sauce in my order. Why give 5 bags of chips if you're only giving out 1oz very small sample of sauce? I guess eating chips with no sauce is ok with this place. They keep hiding behind its a sample or they don't do that why. Also didn't give us any forks or napkins with the order. Guess they did have a sample fork and napkins. Cutting corners but still over charging. Got charged extra for take out and this is how they treat customers.

I am not the type to write reviews. I’ve never written a review even when food wasn’t good. We ordered food here for the first time tonight. It’s a bit on the pricier side but we didn’t mind. When we opened our box of nachos, I thought it was a joke. This was $21. Yes, you read that right. $21 for about 9-10 pieces of tortillas chips of nachos. This is absolutely ridiculous and a huge rip off. Will never order from here again.
