Good hamburgers and bomb a** fries!! No play area for the children though (play pens were supposedly full of germs and vomit). They do have two tables with tablets of some sort for your children to use while they eat if the tables are available. The service is pretty expedited. Restrooms are clean and hardly ever is there homeless folk outside asking for spare change.

I don’t eat McDonald’s food all that often these days, but when I do, it’s pure nostalgia! Growing up on it, McDonald’s always hits home with those classic flavors. It’s like a little trip down memory lane with every bite. Nowadays, though, I’m more of an iced coffee kind of guy. Their iced coffee is always bomb—reliable, smooth, and hits the spot every time. Plus, with the McDonald’s app, it’s only a dollar! You can count me in for a coupon, LOL. Whether it’s for that nostalgic bite or my go-to iced coffee fix, McDonald’s is still a solid choice when I need something quick and familiar.

Dropped in after a baseball tournament. Service was excellent!! The manager had to deal with a male who complained about his large fries. "They don't match the picture, I want my fries full like that menu picture" Customers in line tried to explain IT'S JUST A PICTURE, THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE. The staff and Manager handled themselves perfectly. He moaned and complained for a good 15 minutes!!!

I've been going to this McDonald's for a little over eight years now and every time I go whether it'll be morning noon or night there's always a family atmosphere with the employees as well as the customers. I really love this place. It's like my second home. I really appreciate everybody that works there. For all the managers as well as employees great job thank you very much for making this McDonald's a special one.

This is the McD’s to go to in the area. Worth a bit longer drive if you are West and North and close to other locations and have had inconsistent experiences. We switched to this location and are glad we did. Consistently good!

Normally, we only use the drive thru for MacDonalds coffee (We find it to be the best around). The order-taking is easy, and the drive-thru is fast and convenient. We give kudos to all the employees, but a special "Shout-Out" to Alba, who normally works the first cashier window. She is always up-beat, and always has a nice word or so to say. She is a "people person", and should be considered for a supervisory position. However, if she were to receive that promotion, we probably would b\never see her again at the window, which would be our loss.

They were busy when I arrived around noon and the line was not terribly slow. One of the nuggets I had was a bit stale but everything else was “McDonalds quality” whatever that means to you.

Only issue was going through the drive thru. It was empty when we got there, we waited probably 30 seconds, it was complete silence, and then another truck pulled up into the other drive thru spot. Their order was taken first and a few seconds later someone comes to take our order. Besides that everything else was fine. Service and food was fast and courteous

There is no more refills on drinks and the prices have gone way up at this McDonald's. They are trying to be fancy when it is just a McDonald's no matter how you dress it up. It's like putting lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig no matter what.

The food is what it is. The breakfast sandwiches being what brings me here. Morning Coffee is super important to me. But it is only good here once in a while. It is a gamble!! Some days it is the yummy bold coffee that I prefer over specialty coffee shops. But in effort to get people out quicker they will pour your coffee before it is done brewing. So your cup of coffee is like mud. If you get the su subsequent cups of coffee you get dirty dish water not coffee. When ever the coffee is perfect they deserve 5 stars.

This last visit i was lucky to get a new employee at the cash Register. I am a very understanding customer so no pressure. She seemed nerveous and she did get part of my order wrong but only because she didn't input it correctly. She was trying. She did give me the wrong change back but i let her know. The thing that upset me was how she was being treated by her manager. No patience with her whatsoever! I seen everything. I speak spanish and i am sure the young cashier didnt but i understood as the manager shared her frustration with another employee a few steps away. Instead stand beside her and professionally correct her and gain trust so if she has questions she can feel comfortable to ask. Other than that food was 7/10.

Now that we order on-line there's less employees to help you place your order when you walk in. NOT EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO ORDER ON-LINE. I ORDERED ON-LINE and got my food Some people don't order on-line and no one is at the register to take their. One guy came in and they told him to order at the kiosk and he was upset and left. Why can't there be an employee at the register to take orders? Not everyone is computer savvy. Have someone take orders at the register. Also, have a competent manager to oversee that the immature employees be courteous and polite when they walk in to place an order . Make this McDonald's in Montclair CA on Central be courteous and welcoming to customers that walk in. I felt sad for the customer that came in and they told him to do it on the screen.

Just by sitting here for five minutes, I can see that this place is pretty chaotic. There were several messed-up orders, and three customers approached the counter with complaints in no time. The management could really use some improvement to help their team get it together. They do put in the effort, but some customers can be quite difficult.

My family has been going to this location for years, but it certainly has changed. The staff is flipping, they rarely say welcome to McDonald’s and thank you, and asking for condiments and extra napkins. Seems like a crime with their attitude when you do ask. This has been our experience, mainly through the drive-through and when you call to State an issue. With the food, they actually expect you to bring the food back? Who does that it does not convey trust nor customer loyalty. And when you try to explain your disposition at the drive-through window, the employees take to their cell phones to record the interaction as well as allowing the automatic drive-through window to close in your face. This is the most unfriendly and disrespectful McDonald’s location in the immediate 91763 area.

Service was fast in drive-thru but when they get it wrong and I have to exit my car to complain, what does it matter? Also, the employees don't seem to know their own specials. We had to repeat our order like 4 times and emphasize that its from their world wide menu for them to get a clue. The burger was good but hardly any sauce for the price and the chili cheesey fries were even worse. Hardly any topping at all... it was hard to find the cheese? For $3.65 I'd rather order elsewhere. Also, the employees seemed to have an attitude over their mistake even though they wasted my time... the associate who redid my sandwich just through it together and handed it to me. I won't be going back to this location any time soon.

Everything was wrong with my order this evening. Wrong drinks, missing food items, etc. It's possible that I got someone else's order but i didn't notice till I got home 20 minutes later. Perhaps there's a new staff on board or someone is just not paying attention. Better luck next time I suppose.

This McDonald's has been streamed down to the bare essentials, no more soda fountain and one register for customer ordering. They are trying to force customers to order by kiosks. They also do not offer soda refills, you want a refill then you will need to purchase a soda at regular price. I think McDonald's is trying to drive away it's customers with high prices and minimal service, I for one will not be returning.

Very busy location Clean Well lit Staff appears to move slow It was fairly busy when I arrived at 10:57 a.m. to pick up a Doordash order. However, I was told they didn't have it. I contacted Doordash Support and was instructed to place order I notified customer of situation. She thanked me for the update. When I went to place order the employee in the front asked for the Order Number. I was told it had been received and order would be completed. It turned out to be a very long wait and notified customer again. During my wait I observed the employees in the front and back appear to move rather slow despite the fact the Manager was working alongside them. I also observed and heard an employee totally dismiss a customer who had walked in and asked if anyone was taking orders since there was nobody in the front. The employee replied she was on her break and proceeded to walk past into the back of restaurant. It appeared employee was part of Management by their uniform. The customer got visibly upset and walked out. Totally unacceptable. I would not have the blamed the customer if she would have asked for the Manager. But she didn't. If a Mystery Shopper would have seen and heard all of this they would have given this location a very low score. In total I waited 29 minutes! I proceeded to deliver order. Customer was not upset and very understanding. I would hesitate to return to this location again.

If you DON’T want a cappuccino or latte, then this is the McDonald’s for you. 50% of the time I want to order a latte, their machine is broken. The drive thru staff are friendly and nice, but make sure to check your order before driving off. They’ve given me incomplete orders in the past. I didn’t realize it until I was home so I didn’t drive back. After it happening a handful of times, I learned my lesson to check before driving off. Just last week I had paid for two extra sauces that were not added to my bag until I noticed. Why do I still go here sometimes after 1.5 years of their machines being broken and missing items? They’re conveniently located to my home.

What inside to order my food. There was only one person in front of me. They got done with their order then I waited over 5 minutes before being helped. They were all running around doing this and that. I handed them a survey coupon I did a few days ago. They weren't sure what to do. The gal was looking all over for the manager. And that took some time. This location was very unorganized. As I waited, the line grew longer. And this was at around 11:00 a.m. I'm glad I wasn't there around noon time. They really need to get their act together.

No public soda fountain. Locked restrooms. All guests are instructed to use kiosks, thus cash only. Cleanliness is fine. This is mostly for drive thru and Uber, not for people looking to actually sit and eat for a decent while.

The food was good and fresh. Drinks didn't have any ice. Went to the counter for a refill and was told they don't do refills. I made a small stink about that not being posted or else I would have gotten a large drink instead. I walked away and a rogue employee offered to get me a refill. When I went back to the counter to get the refill the employee who told me no refill asked if I needed anything, I said I'm waiting for my refill. She rudely responded "i told you we dont do refills" and I let her know someone was getting me one and she darted to the back to stop my refill from being completed. She had such little regard for the other employees that she walked past the employee who was walking by with my drink. I understand franchisees can make their own rules but at least post them up front. When walking out the rude employee was taking orders and when she realized they spoke Spanish she just walked to the back yelling whose taking their order they don't speak English in a rude and hostile voice. People who don't speak English are not defective.

The vibe was just so far gone in this place. ! Maybe because it doesn't feel like mcdonalds anymore. Especially since they took out the fountain drink area.. and I'm sorry the meat was salty in the mcdouble and plus it was just sloppy put together. ..I know it's a cheap burger to some people but there others we care to have food look like they put some effort to make it look good since we are still pulling money out of our pocket . And for the same price or maybe a few cents more I can go to another fast food spot and get a better quality instead..

So I ordered 4 filet o fish sandwiches with extra tartar sauce. It was 30 cents extra for each. When I got home and looked them they had just two small dots of tartar sauce. This was way less than it should normally have. Very disappointed that they dont care and have no quality control.

The workers at this location are so lazy every time I order my food they get it wrong and they don’t even give you sauces. When you do the breakfast. You have to make sure you stop and check the bag and make sure everything‘s there.

I’ve been here twice since moving to the area and it’s been disappointing each time. Both times I’ve been encountered rude people while giving my order in the drive thru. Then, each time my order has been missing items. First time, my order was completely wrong and I didn’t realize and had to drive back (considering it was about $15). When I went in to get it corrected, I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get what I actually ordered (bought the food and receipt with me). Today, I went back thinking it might’ve been a rough day and same thing. Drive thru employee was rude and then I get my meal and it’s missing items. Considering last time, I decided to just take the L. I always do my best to be nice since I understand what they might be going through on the day to day but damn 😭😭

Boyfriend and I went here for lunch. When they called our number, our drinks weren’t ready. We had to await about 5 minutes just for our drinks and when we received them, one was a medium. I ordered a Large and my boyfriend ordered a large meal, which to our knowledge means large fry AND drink. We were told “well it says medium on the receipt.” Then, when we look at the food, the large fry was missing. Had to wait a couple more minutes for that. Told my boyfriend next time we should just get a refund on that meal and go to chipotle instead. Would have better food and better service.

tried calling multiple times, i ordered large fries and i didn’t not get a single soft fry, all fries were hard and crunchy to bite on. the boy that was working the on the drive thru side sounded like he hated to be there. i called to let the manager know, the manager Alexis, didn’t get her last name because “i didn’t need to know” according to her. when i told her about the fries being too hard she asked “did you ask for your fries to be fresh?” i didn’t know you had to ask for your food to be fresh. If Alexis is the manager and her attitude being like that then i can only imagine what the rest of the staff is like. don’t go to this mcdonald’s!

Update 02/28/20 Once again, asked specifically for an extra sweet sweet tea and they gave me unsweetened tea. Unbelievable that they can't handle simple requests like that, down from 3 stars... I requested no pickles no onions and God a good mouthful of them. Not happy I also receive soggy fries , And my fountain drink was extra sweet., I keep going to McDonald's because I grew up Enjoying McDonald's. But now things have Changed so much that when you go through the drive-through your napkins are all Bunched up. What can I say. You know it's bad when McDonald's let's you down. I never have very high expectations of McDonald's but you usually know what your gonna get. 10 minutes for our order,...burgers cold cheese was never melted, mcnuggets Luke warm fries room temp. Oh and I don't mask but these guys are supposed too I guess but really look foolish with masks down off your noses.

Worst McDonalds in the area. I gave visited no less than 10 times when no ice cream was available. It is always a coincidence that it is past 7:00 pm. The employees are always happy to tell you that their machine is down. Very convenient. Early cleaning of the ice cream machine means they can leave a bit earlier. Screw the customer. This franchise needs an audit.

Walked in and trash was on the floor and tables. The food order was wrong, missing drinks for both the kids meals and my own. Listening to other people receive their orders, and they too got things missing from order.

Some machines not working. Not good location.. I went through the drive-thru to order just some vanilla Ice-cream and they said Ice machine was not working. I told my wife "oh man how are we going to get out of here now" (because it is a two lane drive-thru and we had already waited for a while just to get to the order station)...and out of nowhere the employee taking the orders said "just drive". I mean ...I do know that..it was just an expression given to my wife not her. I will not be coming back to a location that has such poor customer service training.

Waited 30 minutes for food and the girl taking the orders to the car was like oh that’s your order??we gave it to the other guy??? The order literally has a number of where we are parked and this rude lady literally gave someone else parked in a DIFFERENT parking space our food and then she acted shocked?? She tried to blame US. Just had Uber eats delivery an food was horrible an cold. Even the McRib wasn't evenly put on the bread. This was one of the most worst times I got food from this McDonald's. Paying over 30 dollars including delivery you would expect better. The problem is when you hiring just anyone especially when managers are not checking the quality of the workers.

Horrible customer service. Staff kept ignoring me and other customers. I asked for fresh fries and they added so much salt intentionally. I watched them do it. I kept hearing are those the fresh fries. I will not return to this location. Worst experience.

Terrible customer service the cashier does more talking than doing work. The managers there clearly run a bad operation. Got employees with air pods in. As a manager myself I know stuff like that isn't tolerated. Training Managers really need to fix their crew. Gets worse every time I come here

Very bad service. Workers at the window ignored me. Pulled up to drive thru 10 till 9pm lights were ALL ON and two cars ahead just ordered but the speaker came on to me saying they were closed. I couldn't back up and move out so I had to pull foward and wait for the cars ahead of me pick up their order. Bad customer service.

This is a homeless haven. Not sure why but this place is crawling with unhoused. Put up signs "no loitering" play music, it is proven some music will deter loitering. Unsanitary patio, food inspector may need to be called. Used the app but still expensive. Manager grow a pair. Will not be visiting here.

I went thru the drive, & order a 40 piece chicken nugget bundle for my kids. It was a WORST NIGHTMARE when my son took a bite & there was a clogged of hair in the chicken nuggets. It was in multiple chicken nuggets. I really wish I took a pic. This place is outrageous, and the staff doesn’t know how to handle customer care especially the managers here. Very unprofessional. The health department really needs to look into this place! It’s a JOKE! When us has customers are spending 40dollars & can’t even get correct food, or food that doesn’t contain anything. It’s so disappointing. Especially with the unprofessionalism. The staff needs to be removed, & new staff needs to be hired to make this place better! CALLING ON DIRECT MANAGER & HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO MAKE CHANGES!!!!

Corporate greed at its finest here. No refills. Cashier has to let you into restroom. Bathroom hardly stocked. Understaffed. I would neither want to work here or return as a customer. If you want a firsthand look at how companies in this country are stealing more of your money and giving you less and trying to normalize it, then come take a good look. What a shameful and miserable place. This is America.

This review is specifically for the night crew and even more specifically the person working the drive through order taking at 9:54pm on Monday Jan 26 2026. It is not necessary to ask “is that all” rudely, after every single item we order. The food is as always decent for late night fast food cause nothing else is open in montclair at night, but the service is AS ALWAYS horrible.

I went to this location 3 times very dissatisfied the lady gave me a mc chicken with mayo all over the outside of the sandwich it was a mayo chicken sandwich the lady had a bad attitude when I spoke on the sandwich the fries taste unfresh every time the McDoubles are dry and that location makes my stomach hurt bad every time I do not recommend this location

Today 1/30/26 I went to McDonalds and the drive thru was empty. Never seen this location like that. I reach the window to pay for my food and the lady tells me they only have nickels and I say ok. She then tells me see will owe me 61 cent. I told her oh noooo. That was ghetto. How were you going to pay me back miss? I don’t know you not am I an avid McDonald eater. This blew my mind. On top of that the prices have increased while the food portions are smaller. Is McDonalds doing ok?

Never gets order right and when you order food in drive-thru you always have to wait at a number to get your food because it's never ready. The wait time for getting your food through drive-thru is always more than 15 minutes

We went throught drive thru and i told the lady my code for my points she didnt give me my points . We order happy meal and big mack meal and 4 piece chicken nuggets . They only gave us one sauce for everything didnt even offer us any condiments or didnt even greet us right. When they charge for our food the girl said i couldnt see . This McDonald’s is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in my life and that’s coming from an ex McDonald’s employee. They do not file any of their actual guidelines. The food was served to me that was stale and obviously nasty. So when I returned it, they tried to exchange it for a cheaper biscuit and after asking for a refund ended up leaving with my sandwich no refund and it tasted horrible the place was fill with homeless people and was definently not clean i asked an employee to wipe a table and she still managed to leave jelly all over it McDonalds corporations standards used to be so much higher

This is the 3rd time we've gotten our food and have been unhappy. The first time we got a happy meal, and in the happy meal was only tarter sauce, had to go back, that was just weird. The second time, they forgot our fries, I said screw it. This time, the fries were cold, and old, we had to park in #2 to wait for our old food. And the happy meal was from Halloween after Halloween. I genuinely don't think they care. We will not go back. You should know all this before you go!!!! Sad, we live up the street, and my Granddaughter loves McDonald's.

I gave this McDonald’s three chances. The first time, they charged me twice for one order. The second time, my burger was burnt. And the third time, I ordered a combo meal plus a juice, but instead of giving me both, they just replaced the coffee in the combo with the juice. So where did the coffee I paid for go? I was there for lunch around 1:30pm and it was slow however I was told to wait in front for my food. I was there for a few minutes and thought that’s weird no one else was waiting and no people inside. I came inside and African American girl asked me what I wanted I said my food. My Big Mac meal was sitting there by itself and she handed it to me. I asked why? She squinted her brow and said she was trying to find someone to bring it out to me. The employees were socializing while my food sat there getting cold. They just wanted to make me wait outside. I will never ever go back there. Rude and if they can do that what else would they do to my/our food? Makes you wonder.

This location used to be decent, but ever since they switched over to the digital ordering the service has really gone down. You place orders for mobile pickup and they’re never ready on time. You place orders inside and they take forever. There’s never anyone around to help out. Drive thru is about as decent as any McDonald’s drive thru. McDonald’s should really reconsider being fully digital because it makes for terrible service. Not at just this location, but all locations

Ordered a McFlurry through the app. Was told the machine was down and to process a refund through the app. The app says all refunds must be handled through the store... We are paying these kids $20 an hour for what? Trash service and misinformation.

When someone walks up to ask a question, they scatter like mice. They make eye contact but look away very quickly. Dang, all I needed was a bag. Then, you could proceed to the conversation with your coworkers. I get it overwhelming working with ungrateful customers. But until they treat their customers better, they may still receive the same treatment I witnessed. I know you guys got the fancy kiosks and don't like to take orders from your customers. But you will continue to have the days you deserve until you have some smiles and kindness. I'm just saying.
