I've been to alot of Yoshinoya restaurants in my day. This location is the best! The food, the employees are top notch. It has a drive through. Definitely recommend trying it out.
Greeted with smiles upon entering, Cashier told me about a special they were having to make my total cheaper. When another customer spilt her drink, napkins were given right away & the spill was cleaned up instantly.
Food cooking and food serving are definitely superior to other points. I am very satisfied.
The drive-thru is quick and the cashier was so nice. They had us park in front to wait for a large order, but they where quick.
Jordana is the sweetest rep I have ever come across. Made sure I had everything I needed at drive thru and was just very kind. A bright light. If every industry had a rep like her the world would be a better place. Food was good.

Came here order to go for my brother since he likes beef and teriyaki chicken bowl, it comes wit rice and veggie as well.. this place is nice and friendly like their customer service. Food here is great as well no complaint, think only in Cali has this place.

Zero atmosphere, good music and.,.an amazing meal. I had the small bowl with grilled tilapia. The fish portion was at least 4 oz. Add to that rice steamed vegetables and some wonderful seasoning an amazing value.

I tried the orange chicken and it's pretty bad. Panda express is better. Stick with the original beef. The noodle base is not as good as the rice. I ordered the Tokyo fried chicken with the spicy mayo. That chicken was chewy, stringy, greasy, over cooked and inedible. I ate half of one piece and tossed it out. How can that sell is beyond me. Never again.
Yes the serving portions are a scam, vs what they were, food taste good for being a large chain, everything's going up in prices and portions are getting smaller everywhere.

Pulled into this establishment after 10:00 they close at 11:00 was told that I couldn't use cash. I only had cash on me at the time. Never have I come across an establishment that does not take American currency that is absolutely ridiculous. I was told that they did their drawers already. Seems kind of irresponsible of a business they literally turnes down my business by not allowing me to pay with Cash.

My boyfriend and I bit into our chicken and it was chewy and raw. I was excited for my boyfriend to try Yoshinoya for the first time and we were disgusted. As far as the beef it was chewy, pale and bland. I am praying that I do not get food poisoning. Please check your orders and make sure your food isn’t raw ):
I have nearly 20M views. Stop constantly deleting my reviews; now people know you manipulate your ratings, less stars for you. My reviews for this place aren't that harsh but you can't handle light critiques. Food is usually good. I recommend the beef bowl; the thinly sliced beef is very tasty!!! (as long as the workers don't forget to season it) The floors have gotten cleaner, gj. Service is usually okay to good. The only thing they could improve is getting new upholstery for the bench seats, or hiring an upholstery cleaning service. I found this long hair with a white tip beneath my beef, stuck to the top of the rice. I'm not sure if it's synthetic or not because I can't tell which is the root or tip. It's more than double some grains of rice. If you have long fake lashes, you can have this back.
I was served with fly in my dish. Took it back to the store and the manager wasn't surprised. I had to raise my voice couple times before I heard the apology. I asked for beef bowl and I got fly bowl. Only reason I found the fly was because I didn't like the onions and was separating them. If I didn't separate the onions and started to eat, I wouldn't have found the fly.

With all do respect, came here ordering combo bowl and when I got to pay, I wanted to use my coupon and once they scan you loose it, it can be scan again because it disappear or it says it has been redeemed. I recently came here cause it’s close to friend and wanted to grab lunch for us. This place is all about bad attitude and it doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing at the register when you combine coupon in the app and uses your points. Anyway I won’t be coming back here.. well said everyone on the review, we pay for our meal and it’s not for free so don’t give us an attitude, rude and disrespectful towards us. By all mean all reviews is correct about this place.. we all know it’s a franchise but unnecessarily attitude and being disrespectful. I also would like to add the girl claim she is a manager, thought being a manager would know how to do their job , that’s their title … unfortunately she doesn’t and customer service she’s very rude and disrespectful. She doesn’t hold her name to her title.
Yoshinoya, With all due respect, I would like to express a concern regarding the service I received at your Montebello location. I believe it is important that when hiring staff, customer service and a respectful attitude toward customers are a priority. Today, I placed an order and requested extra onions. After receiving my food, I went back to ask for more, and the employee assisting me responded with visible annoyance and an unpleasant attitude. Later, when I asked for additional chili and ginger, the same behavior continued. I would like to clarify that I was not asking for anything for free. I was simply requesting items as part of my paid meal. Customers come to Yoshinoya to purchase food and expect courteous service. I would also like to note that the individual who assisted me was the manager, and his name is Freddy. Unfortunately, his behavior and attitude were unprofessional and negatively impacted my experience. Due to this experience, I have decided not to return to this location. I understand that everyone deserves the opportunity to work, but customer service and professionalism are essential and should be addressed. Thank you for your time and attention. I hope this matter can be corrected.
Definitely not the best yoshinoya food needed a bit more cooking, but most importantly, Angelica needs retraining. Because with that attitude for customer service, any business will loose customers, very unpolite and always with an attitude. Maybe she needs to hit the gym to get some motivation as she looks like she needs it
Really terrible experience. Manager, Sarah, has no control over her staff. She allows her staff to cuss at paying customers. I went for dinner, waited 40 mins for my order. Went to check in on it, the staff member admitted to skip over on calling it out and laughed about it. I asked why was that funny, he just cussed, under his breath to his co-worker/manager. I asked him to repeat what he said, and he did. So, I asked to speak with his manager, who I didn't know at the time, that it was the co-worker, Sarah, who we laughed and cussed under his breath to. I felt totally disrespected. I expected the manager to reconcile. I still paid full price, I should've asked for a refund, but I didn't. Is good customer service really gone? I won't be coming back. Not just to this location, but all. If these are the type of employees Yoshinoya hires, I won't support. Today is June, 6 2025. The time I came in was 7pm. It's no wonder why no one dines here. If you're like me and enjoy a good experience and want to support establishments that want ourbusiness by treated their paying customers with respect, then don't come here. You won't get that.

They serve you regular bowl portions in a large bowl plate and call it a large bowl.
