Their pozole is a must during winter.... taquitos and Chile Verde burrito are my go to. Been coming here since I was a little girl, and it's been consistent with the same flavor since then. Love this place!!

This family business has been around for over 25 years which is an accomplishment in our area. The menu is small and has a few tables outdoors. Most customers are taking food home. Very reasonable pricing.

Always passed by this restaurant, and my partner and I decided to give it a try since we live around the area. First time here and this place felt homey, like I was eating at Maria’s home. Maria was surprised that my partner and I ordered the green chile burrito for our first order. Man, that green chili kicks! I even put their spiciest salsa and they were shooked. Also got the horchata and pina to go with it. She offered chips and pico de gallo. We are making this place our go-to. Overall, great food, great service, and great people!

Green chile burrito is sooo good! Warning: The spice level is not for the weak lmao. Felt like I was eating at someone’s house, Maria at the front is so nice. :) can’t wait to try more, we’ll definitely be back

The hard shell beef tacos are always great here. And the milanesa torta is bomb. Also tried the guacamole cheddar cheese fries. 5 star for all the delicious food. They have all the condiments you need too. Limes, jalapenos, Chile sauce, and pickled carrots.

The burritos are awesome! They are all meat with onion a d cilantro. Have mild and extra spicy red and green sauce. Choice of wet or dry burritos. Whether you order carnitas, cabeza, lingua, or beef, their burritos are all meat. Meat good! I would recommend this place. I have eaten here for the past five years.

Nicest people work there. They greet you and care to develop relationships with returning customers. Food is authentic and not greasy. Reasonable prices too. Only thing I’d change is to add is jack cheese as another type of cheese option. Queso fresco and yellow cheddar are the only options. Cheddar cheese they use isn’t the best tasting and their flour tortillas are ok, other brands may taste better. Just some suggestions, but everything else is top notch!

Great food, family run business. Have been a customer for 50 years. Try the half and half combo plate. Red and green all meat platter with rice, beans and salad. The all meat Chile burritos are the 💣. High quality ingredients, and consistency are the hallmarks of this gem in Monterey Park.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant! It's got a convenient location on my commute and excellent prices, but on top of that the staff are so warm and inviting and they seem to know everybody by name! I had a burrito today that was so good it healed my SOUL. ten out of five absolutely recommend

I always stop in when in the area for my favorite burrito, green chili. One of the few places where the green chili is actually spicy. Maria is a real sweetheart. She's been there for ever. Also delicious fish taco, tacos duraderas ( crispy/hard ). A bean and cheese burrito delicious as well.

A very well established restaurant that has been there since the sixties, matter of fact my sister worked there in 1969. The recipe has not changed much. I still go by a purchase their 50/50 with cheese. You will be happily rewarded, also the folks working there are wonderful people.

Great food. good selection, good value ample portions and quick and friendly service. My family orders out here on a weekly basis and the experience is consistently very good. They will happily adjust most orders to suit your tastes.

Love their food. Breakfast burritos are great. The only issue I have is they don’t accept credit cards. Honestly I would not mind if they mark up food for credit card orders. They should look into Square reader or something.

Service was great, and inside had a good amount of seating. I got the green chile burrito, which was truly spicy as it says on the menu. My only complaint is that the beans were SCALDING. I wanted to eat the burrito right away, and I understand food is hot, but they were the watery kind of beans that spill out of the burrito and become super messy. If I ever go back, I’m not getting the burrito. That’s not because it’s not good, but because it’s messy and literally as hot as water that’s almost boiling.

Heard this place was the spot for Mexican food I had the pasole it tasted just like menudo it was ok kinda bland my co worker had fish tacos he said it was good but small portion he had to order another one cause 2 was not enough for him. Small portions for 27 bucks.
