Love pizza my heart. Great taste, low flop! Served hot. Good toppings. The atmosphere was cool and place was clean. Staff was great especially the one with the captivating eyes!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizza My Heart in Monterey absolutely delivered. We ordered the 18” Rockaway BBQ Chicken pizza and a round of wings, and both were fantastic. The pizza had that perfect balance of smoky BBQ flavor, tender chicken, and a crust that hits the sweet spot between crispy and chewy. The wings were just as impressive — flavorful, hot, and cooked perfectly. Every time we come here, the quality is consistent and the food hits the spot. If you’re craving great pizza in Monterey, this place never disappoints.
This is our goto place for pizza on the Monterey Peninsula. Pizza is consistently good and our favorite is the Big Sur. The garlic is not off-putting and everything is always fresh. Our next favorite is a traditional pepperoni. The Greek salad is also very good. ❤️ Pizza my Heart!
My wife and I decided to take a drive today from Fresno. Wound up here for some food this evening. Sarah was very kind and friendly. Great customer service. ****Only constructive criticism for the staff not Sarah specifically. Most of the tables were dirty....staff seemed more focus on BOH closing duties rather than the dining area. Thanks again Sarah. It's the little things that matter.
Been going to Pizza My Heart for about thirty years now and always a great slice! Last time I was there I got pies to go and they were ready as soon as I came to pick them up, and service was very pleasant. An area classic worth the trip!
Pizza My Heart has one of the best pepperoni pizzas around—crispy, thin crust with just the right chew, bold tomato sauce, and generous slices of pepperoni. The flavors are balanced, savory, and consistently satisfying, making it go to every time. Perrico approved. 🍕
I love the gluten free Margherita pizza ! I actually just found out it’s called the Manresa pizza. It’s delicious and my ten year old granddaughter and five year old grandson both love it too.
Stopped by to grab a slice as I passed through Monterey on Highway 1. The pizza is filling for one slice and has a fair amount of toppings. It taste fresh and the crush texture is firm with a soft, chewy bite. I got the D'Lex Chicken and Bacon, it's similar to a chicken bacon ranch with mushrooms, green onions, and garlic. If I'm in the area I'll be stopping by again!
very friendly staff. pizza was ready pretty fast. very delicious. lots of different pizzas to choose from or creat your own. we got pepperoni, mushrooms, jalapeños and hot honey.
Good pizzas and if you only want a slice they can accommodate. Place can get busy but worth the wait. You can call ahead as we did and skip the waiting.
Great variety of pizzas 🍕 by the slice or 12, 14 or 18 inch pie. Reasonable price and plenty of places to sit inside and outside.
Pretty decent pizza place. The pizza is pretty good, but what I liked about it was it wasn’t very greasy. We got take out so can’t say much about the restaurant, but it looked like a fun place. The cheese bread was better than expected and the pepperoni pizza was exactly as expected. Obviously popular because when I went to pick up it was pretty busy. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed when I came in but it was around 6pm on a Friday though. I’d definitely come back.
We went on a Monday night, before a trip to the cinema. Ordered a 12 inch pizza, told we could get an 18 inch for the same price (Monday to Thursday). Enough pizza for the next day- breakfast, lunch and dinner! LOTS of toppings . Really nice pizzas. Friendly staff. Nice to have a takeaway pizza that you can sit and eat in. Much cheaper than eating in a restaurant. Salads available and drinks.
There was a bunch of different slices you could choose from. My personal favorite is pepperoni and mushroom, which that didn’t have. I’ve been to other by the slice restaurants and they don’t have much of a ready to eat selection like Pizza My Heart. Most slices are 5.00-6.00$ and for a extra four you could get a shirt. There was a large line but plenty of space to eat in place. First time being here, I usually go to the one in Santa Cruz.
Really good place to eat for pizza by the slice. Would definitely come by if I come up north again! Loved the selection for sauce selections and how they were free!! All around a perfect place to get pizza! Also great rewards card
We’ve been going to Pizza my heart for many years. Our first trip was when we were visiting Capitola and ordered slices from the stand there. Now that we eat vegetarian diet they have great options including vegan cheese. We can hardly tell the difference between that and a regular cheese pizza. They have a New York style pizza with big thin slices. On this trip we ordered a pepperoni pizza to bring back for our son. If you love New York style thin crust pizza, you will love pizza my heart. As a bonus, they have the Coca-Cola freestyle machine!

Pizza was good. Pre baked and reheated when ordered. Service was fast and friendly. If you are in the area and hungry,do not hesitate to stop by and grab a bite.
I haven't had issue with Pizza My Heart until I ordered takeout yesterday and there was a thin rubber band baked into my Doheny slice. It snapped when I pulled on the bite and landed in front of my son. My husband took found the rest of it in the slice. I couldn't eat anymore. Other than that, I've never had a bad experience.
My granddaughters and I are having a wonderful time in Monterey, and we accidentally found this amazing pizza place! The pizza was incredibly delicious, and the crispy crust was just perfect. We really enjoyed our meal there!
Great place for pizza lovers. Our first time here and we were delighted to see so many vegetarian and vegan pizza options. Lots of options from salads to pizza & other sides. Very neat, clean friendly staff , quick service, great ambience. V ordered slices for 3 diff vegetarian options and plain cheese. Removing 1 star for the reason plain cheese became hard after it cooled down that my kids couldn't finish it. Other than that good place for pizza lovers.
The pizza.. amazing! Especially the Hawaiian! Best we have ever had! WE were very disappointed to find out, no more Frisbees! We specifically went there to get our dogs a Frisbee from our trip! Apparently, they are getting rid of plastic and these were a thing of the past. SO SO SAD!

So disappointed in yesterday's veggie slice...they put raw veggies on the pizza, and when it bakes, water from the veggies pools in the center. The crust was burned at the edge and the slice was very soggy and unappetizing overall. They do this everyday and don't notice? Do they ever try to eat, or taste test the pizza they prepare?
Decent pizza just SLOWWW. I dont know how to emphasize that enough. Even if you come at a odd hour. Call ahead and you still have to wait in a line but some special people got to cut just depends on the person at the register. Vegan options are a plus. The big sur seems to be the ticket.
Placed an order for pickup, eta was 20-30 minutes, showed up after 30 minutes and was told that it was still going to be another 10 minutes, took closer to 20 and my entire lunch break.
