Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food was so delicious that I had to stop myself from eating so I could take as long as possible to enjoy the flavors. The music was magical and the staff were helpful, well dressed, and the restaurant was perfectly curated in style & ambiance. This is a must visit!!

We loved having dinner at Itta Bena in Montgomery! The food was excellent and the service was great. (Sorry for the poor photo quality; the lighting was dimmed in our booth, which was actually really nice.) The food and drink selection was well-rounded - quite a few whites, reds, sparklings (even Cava!) to choose from, as well as a healthy beer and cocktail menu. We were there on a week night, but noticed a grand piano with a microphone set up and were told that live music is every weekend. We can’t wait to go back on a weekend for fun music and MORE good food!

We came here for my husband’s birthday last night and were not disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant for a calm and quiet date night. The food and staff are amazing and the booths are private and personal.

I love this place, the she crab soup is FANTASTIC !! I got 2 bowls ! Loved the fried green tomatoes. I think I prefer appetizers to main courses! And the staff and Manager are always professional and gracious, the piano player is astounding. And such a beautiful atmosphere! Carlishia you’re awesome! Thank you all! ❤️

Very nice restaurant, I liked the atmosphere and I had the 8 oz fillet that was melt in my mouth. The Mac and cheese was also top notch and I had a nice cocktail to accentuate the meal. Lighting was low so photos were difficult but I would definitely return anytime I'm ready to spend a bit on a bite.

It was me and my husband first time here and we LOVED it! We made reservations and got seated within 5 mins. It took a while for our food but it was still worth it. We like the fact the curtains can be closed so we can have our privacy while eating. I loved that I was given a rose at the end of our experience. Will definitely be back.

Dinner was simply amazing! We celebrated my sister’s birthday and everything from the host, our waitress Kayla, to our encounter with the Executive Chef and GM was top notch. Highly recommend the Abita Shrimp, Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp and Grits, and Stuffed Chicken!

I visited Itta Bena for a friend’s retirement ceremony and it was an amazing experience. We were there on 2/7/25 and there was a live singer/pianist. The show was great and so was the staff. I remember Asia being very kind and friendly to our group. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.

If you are looking for a true delight to your taste buds then run don't walk to get here. The different flavors that erupt were as if fireworks from the 4th of July were exploding in our mouths. We had the delight to have one of the most exceptional servers we have ever had. She even brought out Chef for us to thank him for such a pleasant dining experience. Hands down the best service and meal we have had in quit some time. Thank you so much for helping to lift my spirits after what had been a trying time in my life as of late. It revived my soul and yes it may seem silly to some but if you have ever been in that dark place then you would understand. We can't wait to try the lamp chops next time!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The atmosphere is very romantic to the lighting and the live acoustic performer. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the whole mushroom fettuccine and added chicken. I would recommend leaving the chicken off. My husband had the duck. Both dishes were delicious. They gave us dessert on the house and flowers when we left. Overall a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious my wife had the herb roasted chicken it was tender juicy and completely DONE, I had the trout it was cooler to perfection. The potatoes and the asparagus was delicious as well. The fired green tomatoes were the best I've ever had. Kayala our waitress was a treat and did a excellent job.

Itta Bena was a wonderful experience from the service to the food. I had the fried green tomatoes, Bourbon glazed salmon with the sweet potatoes and asparagus. Everything was delicious. Oh my GOOOODNESSSS! Alabama owes me nothing because you have top tier service and food like no other! I love this place so much but let’s get into this review. First off the hostess came down to get us because it was our first time there and we didn’t want to be late for our anniversary dinner. Our server and another server, unsure of her name but black and BEAUTIFUL WERE also so attentive and just gave us the best dining experience EVER! I’m so glad we decided to share our five year anniversary here. The food was great, live music which was also so Beautiful, and the best atmosphere you could ask for on such a special day. They gave us complimentary champagne and dessert which was so sweet Oh goodness, I’m so sad we had to leave. Please if you ever stop in Montgomery do not pass this place by. Thank you all so much for everything and participating in our new proposal.

Everything was delicious! My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary there!

This lovely restaurant above the Wind Creek Casino was totally unexpected. After leaving the noisy gaming floor, it was a pleasant surprise to enter this quiet, atmospheric place with cloth napkins. I had a colorful Emerald Mimosa and the Croque Monsieur, which was delicious. My husband enjoyed the Lamb Chops. We also had a great server (Arin) which added to the pleasant experience!!

Nya, our waitress was excellent and provided excellent customer service! Our food was delicious! The music and atmosphere was everything! We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! We will definitely be back when we visit Montgomery! They even gave me a beautiful fresh white rose! I love it here and highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Itta Bena! Brunch is always amazing here. The steak and eggs were on point—I swapped the eggs for fruit, and it was a perfect choice. The steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and the fruit was fresh and juicy. Definitely a must-visit spot! Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday, if they are not closed for private events.

We went here for my dad’s birthday and it was so good. The restaurant is very nice. Wonderful ambience. The service was great and they were accommodating. There was a live singer and she sang Happy Birthday from the stage and didn’t overwhelm him. It was so sweet. The food was so good. I was so impressed. The lamb chops, ribeye, Jambalaya pasta, the mashed potatoes….. everything was delicious. When I come back in town I’ll definitely visit again. I heard they have a brunch so I need to check it out.

Tried Itta Bena for the very first time and I was impressed. The service was AWESOME, the atmosphere was so welcoming and the food was better than I expected. This is a place for every occasion. I had the New York Strip and it was amazing and cooked to perfection.

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here last night and it was absolutely phenomenal. From the atmosphere, to the dishes and drinks, to the extremely accommodating waiting staff. They made sure our anniversary was celebrated accordingly and went above and beyond to make the evening magical. This definitely is the perfect spot for any special occasion and we will be returning for our next anniversary!

Oh my goodness y'all!!! It was 3 of us that came here in celebration of my birthday. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful energy, beautiful and welcoming people! Management was so kind. the staff was amazing and so helpful; recommendations was on point!, (special S/O to India and Nya!!), and the bartender is the bomb! We started with appetizers: fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, Rockefeller oysters, and the crab dip. ALL appetizers was "smackin" (good lol). The drinks were good! My meal was so good: stuffed Tuscan chicken, five cheese Mac and cheese and candied roasted Brussels. My mom had lamb chops, my friend had the New York strip, and they were speaking on how nicely seasoned and tender their food was as well. The singer Necie and her guitarist was great! We are definitely coming back!!! The place was packing out quickly- so you might want to reserve your spot! Love love love this place! Omg everything delicious! Shrimp pasta, the rolls, crab bisque, & the best fried green tomatoes I ever had in my life! I just stumbled on this place and I'm so glad that I did. I have added it to my favorites. I was lucky enough to catch a live performance by a young lady by the name of Meagan Michelle who was phenomenal and was the perfect touch to an already great evening. My server was excellent and the food and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. Will be bringing my friends with me next time around. Many thanks to this establishment for feeding me and taking such great care of me. Much ❤️

Highly recommend. The Chef and our waiter, Griffin, presented us with delectable dishes and superb service. We enjoyed various appetizers, entrees and desserts, all of which I would order again. My personal favorites were the grouper florentine and the creme brulee.

Celebrated my birthday here, it was our first experience at this restaurant, and it will not be the last! Our server, Kayla, was so accommodating and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was impeccable and the food.... the foooooooooood was out of this world, the flavors, the presentation, the portions. All around an amazing dining experience with impeccable service and all the vibes.

Here on a work trip and came across this restaurant. The employees are so kind. Arron was our server, he was patient, knowledgeable, and has a great personality. The food was delicious and I recommend coming here for a night out!

Erin the bartender and Kyla (one of the managers) were amazing. The food and service were out of this world. 10/10. Will be back many times. The pretzel bread and the garlic butter blew my mind, but the wild mushroom pasta was somehow even better.

Erin the bartender is worth the trip by herself! Amazing service and great at what she does. Personable and a great personality - the only reason I visit. Food is good, atmosphere is great. But you haven’t experienced itta bena until you hang with Erin. I recommend the lamb chops a dealers choice on the drink!

Just went here for the first time last night, and it was amazing!! I didn’t get the opportunity to drink, but their list of cocktails, wines, and other beverages was definitely plentiful and I’ll definitely be back to try it out. My table got the mussels to start, which I’d never had before, but fell in love with! My entree course was the mushroom pasta which I added chicken to; it was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly- if you enjoy alfredo and mushrooms, I’d definitely recommend this! The sirloin was also ordered at my table and looked delicious if that’s more your style! We were able to enjoy some live music as well while we ate, and our server really just brought everything home with his excellent service and recommendations. I wish I could remember his name, but I’m sure the other serving staff on hand is just as great as him too! The hosts were very welcoming and kind, the ambiance was incredible, and the whole experience overall was just outstanding. This is getting way too long lol but definitely a 5/5 for Itta Bena!!! I’ll be back as soon as I can be :-)

Friday night was not what I expected, having dinner, I ask for a steak had to send it back, I waited for 45 minutes, when I finally got someone attention, I said am leaving I did not feel treated fairly, well this one guy, said let me get my Manager, who turn out to be General Manager name Robert Lewis, who gave me his card, and wanted to fix the situation immediately, but I said no, Mr. Lewis promised me, that if I returned he would make it right, well when I returned he made me feel so special, my food was more than a 10 and it was an awesome experience and Mr. Lewis went beyond to make sure that my experience was excellent and I appreciated him, I watched him work, and he was making sure everyone was enjoying their time there. So Thank you Mr. Lewis and your staff for excellent dining. Love it, food was excellent as well.

Celebrated my 31st birthday here with my husband and I enjoyed every second. From the live music to the amazing food I promise you will not be disappointed. Our waitress Careesha was absolutely amazing, she had a great personality and knew the menu well enough to recommend everything we ordered. Overall this restaurant did not disappoint.

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and it was delicious! Madison our waitress was outstanding from start to finish Never had such a delicious turkey meal. We will surely be back. Kudos to the chef and his team they did a wonderful dinner tonight. 12/01/2024 Went here for Thanksgiving last year absolutely wonderful see review above but this year horrible we made reservations at 5:45 this year came for the Thanksgiving dinner advertised we were seated and when it was time to order we said we wanted the Thanksgiving dinner and was told they ran out of the turkey dinner remember they opened up at 5pm how do you run out of the meal that you advertised for weeks? I ended up getting something else from the menu my husband ordered the lamb chop dinner my meal was good but the lamb chop dinner was so salty and not edible Then we ordered the desert and it wasn't quite cooked properly very runny it was the sweet potato cream Brule then we noticed that the desert was served on a cut up menu instead of a doiie can you not afford doilies? This restaurant is supposed to be a upscale restaurant and your prices for meals reflect that. Our waitress was mimi and she was awesome we felt bad for her when my husband asked for a dewars scotch and was told you don't have that brand but on your menu it clearly states it you should carry it We dine here alot and this is the first time we were disappointed Things need to change

Aaron was my waiter/ server last night. He did an amazing job. He checked on us frequently to make sure we were still enjoying our drinks and meals. Anytime we were low on drinks he made sure to refill or ask if we wanted another. He even plated our to-go boxes which many people do not offer. If you all plan to dine here, ask for Aaron you will not regret it!

Very nice & lavish restaurant. Our waiter Ethan was magnificent. Getting our order well prep and going out of his way to provide great customer service. Love the music and positive chill vibes this place has. The pianist was also a great addition in setting the mood. Overall I was very pleased with this restaurant.

Itta Bena Windcreekcasino in Mongomery, AL is EXCELLENT. Had the NY Strip & wife had Grouper, both outstanding. The Atmosphere was great. The Service was Completely beyond EXCELLENT AND OUTSTANDING. The Waiter, VIJAY, was very professional, knowledgeable and the best Waiter we have ever had. We will return and hopefully VIJAY will be working.

I attended a Mothers Day brunch. Ordered the chicken and waffles which were amazing and abundant. The staff was professional and friendly and the ambiance made the experience great. I definitely will return.

10/10 recommend, my fiancé surprised me with a valentines dinner date and it couldn’t have been better. The food was so good, best steak I have had out. The staff were so friendly and nice! The atmosphere was just right and so romantic! Can’t wait to go back! Plus the gave out a res rose at the end!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I wish I could remember our waitress name for the future and hope she sees this, you were amazing. We came on Friday 4/28 around 6PM and had a party of 6. We were provided with an amazing service and the food was awesome. The waitress was very attentive and we did not have to ask for a thing. She checked on us very often and made sure we were satisfied. I really enjoyed the live music. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, cheese plate and oysters as an appetizer and everything was delicious. To the chef and kitchen staff shoutout to you as well. For my entree I had the stuffed chicken it was amazing. A person in my party ordered the burger and said it was the best burger he had in his life. This was coming from a person who loves to cook so I’m pretty sure that had to be amazing. Having a dining experience like that will always make me return.

Had a table of 20 for my girlfriend’s birthday and the service was outstanding! Our server Aaron was amazing! He checked on us very frequently and made sure everyone was taking good care of. The manager Xan also did a wonderful job checking on us and making sure my girlfriend had a great birthday dinner! The food was delicious and came out fairly quickly considering we had a table of 20! Overall the service, atmosphere, and hospitality was great and I’ll for sure be coming back!

The atmosphere was very cool, you enter through BB Kings and when you exit the 3rd floor it’s a high end restaurant from the moment t you enter until you leave. The food was superb. The chef does an excellent job. Griffin our waiter was attentive and knew the menu well. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoe appetizer and the stuffed chicken. I want to go back for brunch!!

My husband and I had an amazing experience dining here for our first formal dinner. The service was great, quick and they made sure to understand the experience we were wanting (private secluded booths available) The staff was wonderful & the food was even better!! Everything had a fresh taste & wonderful seasoning. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends & family

Very beautiful impressive restaurant. The word SEXY comes to mind. I've been a total of 3xs only at brunch which was good but could have more options and $8 for a mimosa is ridiculous. However I will continue to come back for the braised beef benedict (DELICIOUS). Staff is friendly but generally inexperienced for "upscale" dining in my opinion (diner quality service). Lastly not sure if the beignets were just a mother's day thing but they certainly should be a staple. The lump crab omelet was okay but certainly not filling and the steak and eggs left a lot to be desired.

This is a cobia fillet with potatoes and broccoli. I gave it a 3 because the potatoes were cold, the sauce on the bottom of the plate was very oily, and honestly the portions are always rather small for $38. The fish was good, but the entire plate was lacking in seasoning. However, the plating was beautiful! The ambiance was very nice with live music, but most importantly it was a nice environment for a great night out with friends. Lastly, I can’t leave out I love the touch of giving ladies a white rose after the meal.

We had a party of four for my husband's birthday on March 30th. The atmosphere was nice. There was a live singer during our dinner. She was amazing; she even took requests for the birthday guests. I think there were about four other groups celebrating birthdays. So that made our experience even better. Great performer!! For appetizers, we tried the Cajun Abita Shrimp; it was definitely something different. Good amount of spiciness, but not that flavorful in my opinion. The bread that came with it was tasty. Bayou Crab Dip was better, but nothing I'd have to have again. I had the Ribeye with an Itta Bena Salad. Both were just good. I expected it to taste much better and with more flavor for the price, but I have had better and more flavorful steak for less money. Our waiter was very courteous and accommodating. For the experience, we'd definitely go again. For the food, we would try something else.

We’ve ate here several times and we always come back. The service is always amazing and the food is very good. I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time because they do get very busy. The bartenders make excellent drinks and give great service at the bar.

Had a birthday dinner on 2/17. It was 2 large parties so food trickled out as both tables ordered. The crab dip wasnt good, very dry & the mini bread was super hard. The mushroom pasta w/chicken was great, as well as the stuff chicken. The mac & cheese needed more seasoning but had a nice taste. Our servers were more than accommodating especially dealing with a large group. I had a few financial mix ups that were QUICKLY resolved thanks to the manager, Robert & events coordinator Kathrine. Also went back the next day because I was given the wrong bottle of wine & they immediately recognized me & made the trade with no issues. This was my 2nd birthday dinner at Itta Bena & Id definitely do it again just on a smaller scale. 😊

So we are currently here we had an 8pm reservation and we sat promptly. My crab cake appetizer was delicious. We ordered chicken and a salad as entrees it’s been 1 hour and still no food (I’m hungry) Our drinks came out 30 mins late but the waiter took them off the bill for the wait. It’s our 1 year wedding anniversary and we wanted to have a nice dinner, luckily we can have a good time together under any situation, but it’s only 30 people total in the restaurant (yes I had time to count lol) so what’s taking so long. Update good came made up for the long wait, we had an excellent server too so all is well

My wife and I had a Valentine's Day brunch here, and our waitress, SAM, was fantastic; she has an infectious personality, and took such great care of us. The food and its presentation was outstanding, and cooked to perfection! We really enjoyed the atmosphere there, and felt like we were surrounded by class. However nice it was, I didn't appreciate the mandatory "SERVICE CHARGE", that was added to our bill. I am not sure WHY they feel that they have to include that in our bill, especially since we ALWAYS tip our waiters and waitresses WELL. I felt like I was getting "stuck up", and "chumped" out of my money. I have to admit, it DID put a damper on the experience, but didn't kill our vibe in total.

The staff were awesome. My son's lamb chop were cooked to perfection. My shrimp and grits were ok. To me the sauce over whelmed the grits and shrimp. Not sure I would order again. Also the Mac and cheese was average.

The location is a little hidden but there was staff up front who provided perfect direction. Once you take the elevator up I was warmly greeted and it was a sexy ambience. I got the shrimp app that was good, the bread that came with the shrimp app was amazing. For dinner I ordered the ribeye steak that was under seasoned and over cooked. The mac and cheese was just ok. My guest had the stuffed chicken and it was dry. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and it was really good. The server was very nice and attentive. Overall it was a 3 out of 5. If the main course was cooked right I would have added another star.

The atmosphere was superior! It was our first time visiting the casino and Montgomery. I think the restaurant manager Xan was very professional and attentive to us. Initially, our server Mike was attentive and customer service oriented. However, after we started to place our order and he stated that we couldn't make changes and we asked for the manager his demeanor changed. I stated to Xan that Mike was great, but we needed to make changes to the side options due to health reasons. She listened to our concerns and immediately responded and spoke with her chef. The chef accepted the changes, and we placed our order. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The blackened grouper was salty, dry, and lacked any significant flavor, presentation, and overall plating.

Atmosphere is very nice and ideal for any special occasion. Our server was very kind and friendly, but the style of service was very casual mannered and didn't match the ambiance, could have been more cordial. The redfish and shrimp grits plate had great flavor, but shrimp wasn't present. The spinach on the grits platter did not have the wine cooked off properly and had a bad taste. The wild mushroom pasta was terribly bland; no mushrooms presence at all and literally tasted like plan Alfredo pasta. The fried oyster app was decent. The fried green tomato app was extremely bland and a terrible execution for a Southern staple. It was very apparent what came out of a box and what was in-house. OVERALL the setting was wonderful, but the service didn't match the environment and the dishes did not justify the price points.

Was expecting so much more. Our first had to be replaced because it wasn't food at all and our second dishes were better but just ok. We were very disappointed in the food but the atmosphere was beautiful. I would suggest the cooks do better bc the food wasn't really good or up to par.

The restaurant was beautiful, the live music amazing the service first class ,but the very reason one would spend several hundred dollars at restaurant was absolutely terrible. I don't know if you ever had a stake from a dirty grill bit there absolutely no mistaking it and sending it back is pointless. So I smiled and enjoyed the atmosphere, tipped well and went on about my evening. Now this morning and I am starving lol . Most likely a little hangry feeling the need to vent . So if you decide to go . Go for the ambiance the music the drinks ..... Eat before you go .

No silverware, service was terrible to day on Mother's day. For the price worst experience I had at Itta Bena. Thirty wait on she-crab soup. Next time I will go somewhere else. I was a regular here, not if service is going to be like this.

This was me and my wifes second trip for new years eve and this was terrible. First, the website said 10pm to 1am there would be live music and entertainment. We got there at 1010pm and where told they were closed. Really!? Why? The girl at first counter had the nastiest attitude about it. So we will stick to what we know best. 5 star food and service, we going to Bham. The end.
