I had the chicken shawarma sandwich right before serving jury duty across the street at the courthouse. Absolutely amazing. I can now truly say there's a great gyros place near home in Skagit County! Fast service, the owner was warm and inviting, the restaurant itself was surprisingly roomy with ample seating, and most importantly the gyro was fresh, tasted great, and the portion was very generous! 10/10 I will be back again, and recommend them to friends and family.

Amazing service, very friendly down to earth folks. The food is amazing... beautifully presented, their fries are SO good! I had a bad experience due to ordering thru door dash, and they comped me a full meal when I came in person, when they didn't have to. 10/10 recommend to anyone -- vegetarians eat great here as well. Can't wait for our next visit!!

I had the falafel tacos and the beef and lamb fries, the tacos were so delicious and was a fantastic fusion of Mexican and Greek food that really complimented each other perfectly! The beef and lamb fries were also delicious, they really piled the meat on there and it is well worth the price! Service was fast and friendly within a clean and cozy environment. Overall delicious food, great service, and a fair price, will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

FINALLY WE HAVE A MEDITERRANEAN PLACE. Got your standard beef/lamb Gyros with some Greek Fries with beef/lamb. Food was excellent, great portions, fresh, and tasty. Will definitely be returning. Dining area is tight/cramped but that shouldn't stop you from stopping by, especially if you love a good Gyro!

Had an absolutely phenomenal meal here! A friend and I split the greet fries and the chicken shawarma sandwich. It was a great amount of food for a lunch - incredibly filling the total cost was only roughly $25. Because everything was so good I wish we came in hungrier! I am looking forward to coming back soon!!

Hands down the best Mediterranean food in the area and God bless them so, because they're the only ones killing it! First, I am a complete slut for Mediterranean food and believe the indicator of whether or not the food is going to be any good, all lies in the falafel; theirs is top tier--crunchy outside, moist & perfectly herbed out center. I went in with an appetite and left with a food baby--Beef & lamb kabab plate was full of so much flavor I didn't remember how to eat like a lady. And because they're the only one's throwing down this cuisine in the area, I had to also get in on their dolma's and "OH EMM GEE" I don't know what kind of dolma's I was eating before because theirs--smooth, like butter, not super acidic or sweet, goldilocks. In between stuffing my face, the masterminds behind the deliciousness and I were chat'in it up & I was asked if I wanted to try their lentil soup? I wish I could've had a swimming pool of this because it was the perfect load of spices. It's not hard to see, taste and hear the love these men pour into the food. I wish them all the success and a rai$e, so I can break my bank eating there.

The staff were very nice! And funny. The service was fast, less than 10 minutes from order to go. Ordered Beef and Lamb Gyros and Greek Fries. Sooooo good. The gyro is huge and well worth the price. The fries were extra crispy making them perfect for the sauce and feta to stick and not get soggy (I ordered to go and the fries are perfect!) Will return again, and again, and again!

We thought this was going to be just another shawarma joint… boy were we wrong. The meat was fresh, tender, and perfectly spiced, the pita was warm and fluffy, and the service was extraordinary. The team went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Whether you’re living in the area or just traveling through, Hot Gyros is the perfect place for a bite. Huge servings, great atmosphere, and the best gyros in the PNW. I’ll be visiting again. Pictured: complementary halva. Yum!!

What a great spot! I’m so happy this restaurant opened here! I love Mediterranean food and I think the food here is really great / definitely a cut above the average Mediterranean restaurant. The rice is seasoned very interestingly (in a good way) and the hummus is bomb 👌

Hot gyros is a great spot for fresh, flavorful food. The shawarma is juicy, well-seasoned, and served with warm, soft bread and crisp veggies. OMG!!! Wow, Mediterranean inspired diner is a pleasant surprise. Super friendly staff and the food… I got lamb/beef shawarma, husband got chicken shawarma and baba ghanouj. So good I may have to roll myself to car. The real surprise was the lentil soup. Given as a lucky strike extra, super rich without being gummy or cloying. It reminds me of Avgo Lemono. Very fresh flavors and generous accommodating staff. Like sharing dinner with friends and family. Thanks so much!!! We will return.

Visited from Canada the other day and dropped in for lunch. Food and service was amazing. The portion sizes are also really large and their Falafels and chicken are gluten free! Would 100% recommend!

The food was sooo yummy and the staff was very excited to be making it! So glad we’ve got a delicious little Mediterranean place in our downtown space now. 🫶🏻💯 I got the falafel plate, the rice was spiced beautifully, the falafel was soft and moist on the inside, and some of the best hummus I’ve had. My partner got the Chicken Shawarma sandwich and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be going back!

When I first moved to Mount Vernon two years ago I was sad to see there was no gyro spots in town but hot gyros is here to make up lost time. I had the beef and lamb plate and it was phenomenal. From the rice to the hummus to the meat everything about it was perfect. While the seating area is quite small the staff are very friendly making this a must try restaurant.
