Went today for a lunch for my birthday. David did an incredible job taking care of us. It was my first time today and everything was delightful. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto, we had the bruschetta platter and my family had the Cobb salad and another pasta dish. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we ended with a shared chocolate bread pudding. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the great service, atmosphere and meal!
We like the flatbread, grilled steak salad, and the chicken limone. We went at 3:00 pm. It was the perfect time. They get really busy in the evening. Great atmosphere.
Food was good, me and my mom both got spaghetti bolognese and loved it. The service was good although the waitress forgot about my moms drink and red peppers flakes she asked for, but we didn’t mind cause everyone gets busy something’s especially in the restaurant industry and she was very apologetic! Overall definitely recommend and would come again.
Everything was delicious. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I recommend.
Food never disappoint everything was delicious, my favorite Italian spot by far, also the service was great
Thank you Nicolas and Serena and all the staff working Thanksgiving 2024 and away from your families. This was a first for all of us, and we loved it. From the service, atmosphere, menu, food and drinks. We made reservations online, and we arrived 15 minutes before as we understood it is Thanksgiving. The staff is super kind and friendly even though it was super busy for Thanksgiving. We will be coming here, we even ordered food to go at how much we loved the food. There’s a large menu for everyone even picky eaters to choose something to eat. Yes the food is great, but the staff is the cake on top of amazing food. Service goes a long ways, thank you for all that you guys do. Keep up the great job! 👏🏽 We shall be back 😊 I mean if try service and the food was this great on Thanksgiving! Can you imagine what it’s like during a regular day? This is our go to moving forward for Italian food. Great job Brio staff - 👏🏽 To the people complaining regarding your reservation for Thanksgiving: 1. It’s Thanksgiving 2. If you show up late what do you expect? I did see a few people/families show up late. 3. It’s a national holiday, kindness goes a long way.
I was here with a friend to celebrate our belated birthdays and Christmas holidays dinner. It was a Tuesday evenings with a reservation scheduled for 6:45pm. Brio must be busy, we were seated shortly after 7:05pm, we were fine being led to a table instead of a booth requested, a little later. Our waitress was Melanie, she was nice-friendly-accomodating, promptly took our entrees orders. She also kept us informed it will be another 10 minutes before our meals are ready which she did swiftly brought the plates to us. My friend ordered a large bottle S. Pellegrino sparkling water. Our meals were ultra-delightful. She had the grilled salmon with asparagus, it was cooked perfectly. I went with crispy eggplant-shrimp and came with a black pepper sauce. The crispy eggplant had a delicious flavor and textures. The sauce was just a bit salty for me, small fries. Overall, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. In an overview, this wasn't our first visit at Brio-Fashion Place Mall. Their service was on par and everything went smoothly. Fresh dishes, cooked to perfection. Brio has a welcoming, warm, beautiful setting and atmosphere. We love coming here. With 4.7 million views via Google, level 7 guide, I would recommend Brio for breakfast, lunch, dinner and for special occasions. Will return and circle back for other occasions and find reasons to have lunch and dinner. Brio didn't disappoint.
We had a girls night dinner here and had a candle vendor (Candles Utah) come setup a beautiful candle centerpiece and Brio was so kind to allow us to do so! It set the perfect vibe for the evening paired with amazing food and drinks including the wild berry lemonade! Delicious Ravioli & Chicken and Spinach fettuccine was some of the best fettuccine!
Had a large family dinner reservation, was seated on time and had our food delivered to us quickly. Amazing service from our waitress who quickly fixed some minor mistakes on a few of our orders. The food was flavorful and came out in large portions. I ordered the Brio Pasta that came with a creamy red pepper sauce that tasted amazing. My wife had the Bella Ravioli (I liked it more than my dish) the mushroom flavor was so good! My brother got the lasagna and I have to say that was my top favorite dish, the meat sauce and cheese blend amazing together! The whole family left happy and would love to go again.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was authentic and full of flavor, with perfectly cooked pasta and rich, delicious sauces. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch,attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the appetizers to dessert, everything was flawless. Definitely a must-visit for Italian food lovers! The mushroom soup was a blast so so delicious
This is my favorite spot! The beef carpaccio and steak salad are amazing. Service was super slow and there were only 3 customers eating.
Always love coming here. Great food, service and the atmosphere is so versatile whether you're looking for a date night or just lunch with the girls! Love it!!
Brio has very delicious food, me and my gf are never disappointed. The service is always excellent as well. Servers are really nice and knowledgeable. The food prepared very well and always seems real fresh. It's always hot. Food are always good portions. I would definitely and have recommended this place to people. If you never been you should good. The do reservations as well. And even do special things if it's a special event.
I was presently surprised by how good the food and service was. Our server Brando made sure he recommended dishes that worked for my allergies which is huge for me! I had the Chicken Limone and it was delicious. Also I appreciate that they are open until 10:00 because it’s hard to find anywhere that is! It was late but Brandi was still very friendly and attentive.
We went for Thanksgiving. The meal, service and atmosphere was excellent. The portions were huge! Nice to enjoy a restaurant on a holiday with no clean up. They handled the large crowd well and seemed like a well run restaurant.Their Thanksgiving meal was delicious. Will be back!
OnPoint customer service, friendly atmosphere with nice table spacing. The food had a great flavor accompanied with fair pricing. The only drawback for me was I thought the meal would have come with a side salad but unfortunately that costs extra. We ordered off the dinner menu opposed to the brunch for the larger portion size. Though the portion size is fair for the average sized person, we left feeling like there should have been something else along with the meal to act as a filler.
It’s an ok place to get Italian. Better than Olive Garden but it’s not too exciting. They downgraded and served Pepsi products.
We came on a Friday night at 7PM and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. Our server Rhiannon greeted us quickly and set the tone for the rest of the meal. She was amazing. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and she was patient with my questions and she made some suggestions and I went with her suggestion of the Pasta Alla Vodka. She was not wrong. It was as good as she said it would be. Hot, creamy and not too spicy. My husband ordered the Chicken Limone and he loved his. He said the lemon caper sauce wasn’t too strong and hit the spot. Between the AMAZING service from Rhiannon and the hot, good food we will be back!
Brio is a good place if you're looking for an Italian bite in the area. They have several dishes which are good, and even have gluten-free pasta if you're unable to eat gluten. My wife and I had our wedding dinner here, the drawback to that is they cannot adjust the music level in the larger private area, so the music blasts quite loudly. The other drawback to a large group is that the food quality was considerably worse than the food quality on a regular night. We've been here a few times before our wedding dinner and a few times after and the quality was good.
We recently celebrated my birthday with a family lunch at Brio Italian Grille in Murray, and overall, it was a four-star experience. The restaurant, which describes itself as a "premier Tuscan-inspired restaurant destination serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine, luxury wines & cocktails," certainly delivered on its inviting ambiance. The atmosphere was genuinely pleasant and provided a lovely backdrop for our family gathering. The food was good and satisfying for everyone at the table. While it didn't quite reach the level of "top-notch" or blow us away, the Northern Italian fare was enjoyable and well-prepared. We found a good selection of dishes that appealed to various tastes within our family. The primary area where Brio fell short during our visit was the service. It was noticeably slow, which was a bit of a damper on an otherwise pleasant meal, especially with a family in tow for a celebratory occasion. Despite the unhurried service, the combination of good food and a strong ambiance made for a positive birthday lunch. Brio Italian Grille offers a comfortable and attractive setting for a meal, and while there's room for improvement in service efficiency, it's a place we'd consider revisiting for a pleasant taste of Tuscany.
Overall. OK Pros: Gluten-Free options Potato fingerlings were 🔥 Nice ambiance Cons: Service took a LONG time Went about 15 minutes waiting for water refills a few times Food was ok Sat down, around 7:10p.m., food ordered, 7:25p.m., food to table, 8:10p.m., left by 9:00 p.m. Table favorite, appetizer flatbread
It was a slow night so the service was really fast and the food was good. Got the shrimp and scallop risotto - it was just slightly too salty and oily but overall good. The shrimp pasta came out great.
I have eaten here several times for several occasions and love it the Shrimp and Lobster Fettuccine is my favorite dinner dish here with the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. I enjoy coming here for brunch as well the vegetable omelet with the Rosa Sangria is my favorite. I love the decor and atmosphere. Great Service. On a side note, I was treated very poorly when I was trying to make reservations for my friends baby shower. The manager called me out after I said I had been here several times, he said rudely, " Funny, I don't have previous reservations from you in the system"... I rarely ever make reservations and just walk in, I just wanted to make sure we would have a nice place to sit because I wanted to have some decorations. Anyway, other than that the staff is normally always really nice. That guy was a jerk!
Reserved a week in advance and that worked out great as we arrived. Served did a great job. The caesar salad had like a hint of fish which wasn’t all that nice. The rest of the food was great though. Really good lasagna.
Our first time here, the calamary was rubbery, the aoili was fantastic, a bit garlic spicy, very expensive for the portion $19, the pollo al limone was really good, I wish I had a little more sauce but it was fresh, good portions for the price but this place is quite expensive for lunch, $29 for entree, not everyone can afford that, perhaps that's why there were only 2 tables. We had no silverware, she brought the bread and I had to ask for a knife, then ask for plates, my water took like 10 minutes to refill so that was annoying when there were only 2 tables. The waitress was nice. Their bread needs work, it goes hard within minutes and it feels like you could break a tooth. She said they had sprite so I asked for a diet coke and they didn't have it, don't say you have sprite when that's a coke product if you don't have coke products, I hate diet Pepsi so it's not the same. We tipped well because she was nice but I don't think they're going to be open for much longer. The building is beautiful and elegant.
We went to Brio after a Family event to celebrate my 18 yr old. I was sad to see her meal take the longest as we were highlighting her but it was corrected and fixed. We all had water and that took awhile to get refilled. We go to brio city creek often and felt like their service was better. Also there was someone’s birthday happening in the corner and the employees singing all sounded depressed. If employees don’t have singing talent maybe lip sync to a recorded happy track vs feel forced to sing and sound sad and off
Our server was great, and the food was decent, but that was about it. I know we shouldn't hold Olive Garden as the bar for Italian food at all, but Brio didn't ascend above OG in any way, other than the Calamari and the service. I don't think we'll be returning.
Not that bad. But when comparing to downtown, I would rather go to that one. Tried this one out on 8/20 and wait wasn’t long, got in with reservations on time. Server was a nice guy, but ordered the lobster bisque and never got it. My GF ordered salad with some things to not be added and still added olives as we told him we didn’t want them on there. Entrees came out and tasted pretty good
Kind of a mess from the start. We were told they didn't have kids menus because the printer broke two months ago. Then, not enough water glasses because a tray of glasses had broken. Then, the drinks were wrong. Second attempt wasn't much better because apparantly the bartender had never made a Manhattan?! Salmon was great. Mushroom ravioli was also great. Steak salad (which i always order wasn't good. Almost no balsamic, one sliced mushroom and one whole mushroom (which is very difficult to slice when it's raw and you only have a butter knife. There were three good bites of steak and then, basically just crumbles. Kids pizza amd pasta were mediocre. Not sure we'll be back. Server comped us the drinks and am entre which i appreciated and the only reason I gave the reading I did.
Great food, but the service was mediocre. Waiter got off on the wrong foot when I actually asked to see the weekday lunch menu, stating that "I guess we can get it for you, but we don't have a lot of people order off that menu". The lunch menu was not given when seating our party, which gives off an appearance that the restaurant wants to overcharge patrons. Advice would be to give patrons both menus upon seating and allow them to decide the appropriate portions when they dine-in. By not offering them that opportunity, you are showing a bias that you want to charge dinner prices for a lunch option. Waiter seemed uncaring and you could tell he did not want to serve us once I asked for the lunch portioned menu. I also had a free reward for $10 off, which I proceeded to use for a dessert. Upon receiving the bill, I was told that they would not be able to honor it unless I spent $30 (each individual was paying separately, so that amount would not have met that price point). I pointed out that the emailed coupon from Brio said NO MINIMUM PURCHASE required. I had to continue to argue the point even after reiterating and reshowing my email in which it clearly is stated no minimum purchase required. To summarize, this restaurant needs to improve on their guest relations skills and gain a better concept of what is allowed when guests are dining in. If a guest shows you clear proof from your establishment and company, you should be honoring that, not being argumentative over it. I would dine here again, but the service makes me hesitant to return.
I recently dined at Brio Italian Grille and, unfortunately, it was a mixed experience that leaned more toward disappointing—especially considering the price point. Right off the bat, the wait to be seated was unusually long. The restaurant was only about half full, but there didn’t seem to be a host at the entrance, and I stood waiting for about 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. It also appeared that only two servers were working the entire floor. Once seated, I was given complimentary bread and butter. The butter was rock-hard and impossible to spread, and the bread was sliced in thick, wedge-like pieces more akin to pizza slices. While this might not bother everyone, the hardened crust made chewing uncomfortable—I had to be careful not to scrape the roof of my mouth. For an appetizer, I ordered the lamb chops, which were noticeably overcooked. Not inedible, but far from the tenderness I expect from lamb, especially when I can prepare it better at home. The soup of the day, minestrone, was actually quite good—flavorful and well-portioned—so no complaints there. The main entrée, chicken and spinach fettuccine, looked beautiful on arrival, but a few bites in, the saltiness became overwhelming. I couldn’t tell if it was the cheese or just an overzealous hand in the kitchen, but it really took away from the dish. Finally, the crème brûlée dessert came out with a severely burnt sugar hidden underneath the toppings. While most of it had the expected caramelized finish, about a quarter of the surface was blackened, and the bitterness of the burnt sugar ruined what should have been a smooth finish to the meal. Overall, while the minestrone was a bright spot, the service delays, overcooked lamb, overly salty pasta, and burnt dessert made the visit fall short. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but for the price and reputation, I expected better.
This is a beautiful restaurant, but my most recent experience here was not great. I ordered the $15 lunch special. The salad did not taste fresh, the pasta was bland and I only received three shrimp, which were slightly over cooked. Also, the lemons they served with the iced tea had started to spoil (really gross). My prior experiences at this restaurant were better. Maybe they need to retrain the kitchen staff. Based on the high prices, poor quality and small quantity, I do not think this food is a good value. Update: We tried this restaurant again today. They gave us dinner menus and when we asked for lunch menus they said they couldn’t find any. Our waitress told us about four things that are on the lunch menu but when we looked at the on-line lunch menu we found lots of other item should have been available. The food we received was mostly okay, but the chicken in my pasta was tough and lacked flavor. The best things we tried were the chopped salad and the wedge salad. Our waitress acted like she wanted to be someplace else and the inside of the restaurant could use a deep cleaning and some fresh paint.
I arrived with a group of friends around 8:30 pm on Saturday and there was only one waitress for the entire room which holds almost 200 people. She served the starter, bruschetta, without plates, and without choosing a flavor option. They came assorted. We ordered the dish and bread, which Italians usually serve before the main course, and more time to decide what we would eat. After a relentless 20 minutes, the waitress returned to our table to take our orders. Orders and we don't like the food. It didn't look fresh. We will not return nor recommend it.
While our server did his best to make things right for us, and we appreciated that, I can say with confidence we'll never dine here again. You can see from the photo the $43 lamb chops were absolutely puny(i did eat 3 potatoes before the photo). And the Chicken Marsala (not pictured) came out with NO marsala sauce. The server did offer us this 3rd entree (see photo) to make up for this. However, the service was painfully slow. Without spending any extra time on our account the dining experience was just shy of 2 hours. The taste of the food was adequate for the price.
Soup was awful took one bite (lobster bisque) looked like it came out of a can. Chopped salad should be $5 for the quality it’s nothing special Olive Garden salad is much better an that’s basic… Waiter saw the full bowl of soup and don’t even ask if there was something wrong with it.
Listen folks, you're better off at Noodles and Company. Maybe I ordered wrong? If you want the nice ambiance, the nice building, dining with other peeps who are telling themselves the food is better than Noodles and Co, and if you're hanging at the mall anyway, go for it. I didn't pay but I'm sure my chicken fettuccine was probably $20 and I left...disappointed still. Service was fine, he wasn't overly friendly. Very matter of fact. Kept the water and diet Coke coming and there was a lot. No complaint there. Brio food was a bust for me!
The decor and location (upscale mall) are deceptive. The restaurant spacious and tastefully decorated. The food and service, on the other hand, leave everything to be desired. The server showed no interest in creating a good dining experience and often seemed annoyed by small requests like refilling beverages. She often disappeared for long stretches. When our food arrived, it had clearly been sitting for a while. My carbonara was dried out and pasty. Flavor was non-existent. Bland in every bite. Not once did the server come to ask how the food was. A thoroughly disappointing experience.
The food tasted like I could do better with the $2-more-than-name-brand pasta sauce at home. The salmon was dry, the chicken parm was basically a freezer chicken nugget, and the pizza tasted worse than a freezer pizza. Paid around $30/plate for something I could do at home with less time and less money. Waitress was great and it’s a beautiful place. Food sucked 😃
This was, without exaggeration, the worst Italian meal I’ve ever had. The salad arrived wilted, the asparagus was overcooked, and the chicken in the Chicken Marsala tasted like something straight out of a prepackaged grocery-store bag. The sauce resembled a basic brown gravy mix rather than anything freshly prepared. When I made the reservation, I honestly thought, “How bad can it be?” Now I know. I never imagined I’d say this, but even Olive Garden offers better food at better prices. I spoke with the manager, hoping for some acknowledgment or concern, but all he said was, “Thank you.” That response alone says a lot. Truly disappointing.
Food tasted like it was out of a can ordered two different rigatoni and was very disappointed in the quality. The food was cold and not good at all
I had high expectations and was extremely disappointed. The appetizers were terrible—both options were cold, and one of them, which was supposed to have truffle, had no truffle flavor at all. The main courses? HORRIBLE. We ordered four different dishes, and not a single one was good. One was overly salty, while another was completely flavorless. An Italian restaurant that doesn’t serve fresh Parmesan cheese? That says a lot. I do not recommend it! If you value your money, your taste buds, and your time, stay away from this place.
From fine dining, to microwave mystery meat! Brio — what happened!? I don’t usually leave reviews, however after my experience at Brio this week, I felt compelled to speak up. I went out to dinner yesterday and was honestly shocked by how bad the food was. I ordered their Pasta Brio dish, and right away, I noticed something was off. The chicken was rubbery, oddly chewy, and had that sketch microwaved texture that makes you question if it was even fresh. The Rigatoni noodles were overcooked, and the tiny side salad added absolutely nothing to the meal for its hefty price. I really tried to eat it because I didn’t want my money to go to waste, but I just couldn’t. I couldn’t even finish half of the plate. I ended up sick to my stomach afterwards and instantly regretted trying to eat that meal. What’s especially disappointing, Is that I used to love Brio. Years ago, the food was constantly delicious and the experience and food felt worth every penny. I’m not sure if it’s changed ownership or management over the past few years, but it’s definitely NOT the same, and has gone downhill. I spent $36 on a meal, that was not only disgusting, but made me feel sick and unwell.
Had been wanting to try Brio for a while and so we did. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and honestly I am absolutely disappointed. The chicken was HARD… like really really difficult to cut into or even chew!! Food in general had seasoning but it was still so bland, drink was warm and had like 2 ice cubes lol and I could not stand eating any further. I left with a Migraine. Service was ok, the disappointment in our faces was very noticeable and we barely ate anything from our plates but our server didn’t care to really check in anyway. All in all it was the worst meal and do not recommend at all. Pricing is ridiculous for the food we got.
We got chicken, Lemmon and chicken fingers and a chicken flatbread appetizer. With chicken fingers were green, not thoroughly cooked and were pig spot. I mean, I can’t even pretend to be nice. Paragraph my trigger mode was runny again I think not cook thoroughly they threw on like two extra pieces of chicken to cover up for how bad it was, which is what restaurants do. And they served the drinks in Styrofoam to go cops God it was garbage. It was terrible absolutely terrible played it terribly on appetizing to look at at a very best only my dish. The chicken was edible. The salad look like it had been sitting out for an hour and the waitress pushed it because I don’t know why who pushes a salad but she did and then I got it and now I know why the place was packed. Maybe because the macaroni Grill closed down across the street but it was bad pre-kick just wow Gross flat runny pink slough and I don’t want to overstate how bad it was because I don’t want people to not believe what I’m telling you but that’s all I can do like I can’t even hold back. Don’t go there whatever’s happening at Brio. It’s garbage, Italian village or I don’t know McDonald’s is better.
We had a very bad experience at this location. There was only two waiters serving everyone at the restaurant. We had to wait for our drinks for 40 minutes. I understand waiting for food that long, because it's being prepared, but not for the drinks...The waiter was nice and apologized, they need to have a good management. In addition to that, the food did not taste very good. Their calamari was dry, their pasta dishes were uncooked. We are not coming back to Brio, bad management. Another guest near out table, the waiter brought him his dish, but didn't bring any silver wear, he waited for his silver wear for 10 minutes and just left the restaurant, no-one even bother to just bring him a fork. He asked for his fork two times. That's very bad management.
Very disappointed with the service. Me and my wife get to go out like once or twice a year and we were unhappy. Server did not even tell us her name. Had to flag her down every time. Food was OK but as a fine dinning italian restaurant. Olive Garden has way better service and energy. Not impressed at all. Won't be back!
We went today with my husband for dinner Murray location, our server Jamie, beyond rude! I ask to have my Pellegrino water, with ice on the side, she keeps insisting that she can put just a little...I asked "we need it on the side " isn't that complicated "?! I was ready to place my order...but she just took off...because she seems irritated upon our simple request...you don't walk away...when customer is taking... thanks to my husband i didn't walk away...we ate she never says Thank you...at any time...we try to use our 30$ off ( with no minimum),she say write down the code...she got back that" was canceled " for whatever reason...the cupon still valid ...it seems that was an issue because the "system crashed " (earlier morning)that was the other server Maddie said, she is sweet, professional and very patient, she fixed the issue honoring the cupon... because the morning manager was doing that, she is knowledgeable of the situation, obviously the manager/ cook he has no idea, because Jamie ask him 3 times to do it and refuses, this manager was rude before, with me ,when I fund plastic wrap on my mashed potato, he said we don't have plastic wrap ...so I showed to him...how it got there?...im not carrying plastic wrap in my purse...he finally removed from the ticket...and now he refused 3 times...obviously this manager/ cooked has no training or manners at all, thanks to Maddie...the other customers stay...and didn't walk away, because they had " cupons". My opinion Jaime should no be there...either Oscar...I guess is his name, cook / manager . Front of the house, hostess, they should be a little more professional, have their shirt tucked in...and don't make ppl wait to clean tables....whe n is way slow...luck of manager supervision... We probably won't be back,we thought with the new owners, thing will be better...but not, this 3 employee that I mentioned still there,Maddie is the best!!! She is very good, she saved your bussing reputation ( of being your cupon could be call " scam") We really love the atmosphere, but c.service is awful.
The service last night for Valentines was horrible!!! Had to send the salad back twice- there were wilted leaves and no cucumbers on the chopped salad, like not even one. We weren't given silverware until after bread was served, and had to ask for it. Weren't asked what we wanted to drink- when asked he took my husbands drink order and didn't even wait to get mine or my son's. Had to ask for bread multiple times and it was forgotten frequently. Total let down.
Terrible experience. The chopped salad we got had no cucumber, and the leaves were clearly old. Niko, the manager at Brio, argued that the leaves were fresh, even though it was obvious they weren’t. Instead of fixing it, he just walked away. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive, and it was also disappointing. The staff and the food completely ruined Valentine’s Day. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Our experience started with a very disappointing appetizer, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, the crispy flatbread was overcooked, very hard and dry, very little taste and the artichoke dip was little to be desired, it came in a large cup and very little dip, $15.00 for about $5.00 worth. Our entrees were the same disappointment, Out of six of us, two of us took the waiter’s suggestion and ordered the Shrimp Scallops Risotto, $30,00, it came with three shrimp and few very small scallops, overly cooked and very dry, not much flavor it left an aftertaste that was unpleasant, I would of been happier if I had gone to the salvation soup kitchen, neither of us finished the meals, my son ordered the Sausage Carbonara, same results. I spent almost $300.00 for six meals and walked away with only disappointment and bad taste in my mouth. Readers, I hope if you choose to go, that you have a better experience than we did. Good luck !
